My first trip to South America: Day 9 hike in Villarrica national park
This trek was one of the highlights for me, since I’ve never hiked or been close to volcano (that is active). We started before 10 am, sunny day with occasional clouds in Pucon. We drove to the starting point, bumpy ride on the way. Windy and fresh air. It’s best to wear layers, fleece and a rain coat. Some gloves are handy too, as its cold when the sun is in clouds.
