Apparently weak, submissive, and easy to be manipulated by his courtesans/tutors... But in reality smart, cunning, ambitious and willing to wait for the right time to seize/consolide his power...
Does it not remind you of someone else who was like that before?
YES. HIM.
Brilliant. Just Brilliant.

Season 4: Updated
Landscape (fjord?) painting = ? Playbill = Musical, Alberta (4x05) Clover pillow = ? Snow globe = Pete's gift to daughter (4x09)? French fries = Zombie!Jay (4x09)? Cherry pie = ? Space rock (?)/gold = ? Snail = Escarghost, Trevor (4x06) Plastic vampire teeth = Higgentooth (4x06)? (Bonus: there are now 9 items instead of the previous 3 seasons' 8 items...likely due to the addition of Patience!)
Edit!
I'm going out on a limb to say that the vampire teeth may relate to Patience. It's already been mentioned that she died from bloodletting. Both end in getting blood sucked out of you 🧛
#ghosts cbs#I love how they leave these clues#cbs ghosts#you all probably have already seen these but hey I'll keep it for my own reference too :)

seeing as HLWH is being brought up again, i have a question. those of us who have read it know what happens between Hyde and Donna, and the reasons behind it. i also noticed a little Hyde/Donna moment in Beneath a Shattered Sky (or Reflections Through the Glass? don't remember), in which Donna shows hypothetical interest in Hyde (a "What if" type of thing, if i remember correctly). what do you think of Hyde/Donna as a ship post-s1? do you think there's a slight interest in each other beneath their friendship (or because of it)? not big enough to overpower their friendship status or their feelings for Jackie and Eric respectively tho
I don't think Donna has any true romantic or sexual interest in Hyde at all. Ever. He's definitely in brother territory. I do think, though, an in-great-pain Donna could convince herself otherwise. That's what she does (or considers) -- for a minute? -- in Beneath a Shattered Sky because of how Eric is acting toward her vs. how Hyde is acting toward Jackie in such dire circumstances.
Once the foundation of Hyde's character is rebuilt in "Prom Night" (1x19), Hyde more than respects the fact Donna is in love with Eric, so he lets his romantic feelings for her fade and accepts his friendship with her.
Yes, he teases her in "The Relapse" (4x06) about being a willing sex partner for her (so she wouldn't have had to go to her ex-boyfriend, i.e. Eric). But, really, the majority of their interaction in that scene depicts an intimate platonic love between them. Hyde is long-over his romantic feelings for her by then. "Jackie Bags Hyde" (3x08) shows where his romantic interests lie (i.e. Jackie).
My story "One Difference: Donna Doesn’t Date a Kelso" explores much of what I've written in this response.
Summary: Point Place High declares Eric its Most Eligible Viking, and he wants to date other people. Jackie tries to set Donna up with Kelso's brother, but Donna's interest lies elsewhere.
Rated: T

What Should Have Been
read it on the AO3 at http://unicorn_feeds_back/works/13790619
by RedCoral
“I don’t think you love Princess Aslaug either. I think you loved her ability to give you more sons.”
“That may be true. I always wanted many sons.”
“And Athelstan?”
“Athelstan is different,” Ragnar said, his tone clipped and defensive.
“How?”
When Ragnar asked Lagertha about Kalf's death, maybe that conversation could have gone differently, admissions could have been revealed, truths could have been accepted and trust could have been established.
