The Lolita/Coqeutte Zodiac Sign🎀=Virgo♍️🩷
Tumblr media
Sydney Sweeney, Virgo Sun
Zendaya, Virgo Sun
Elle Fanning, Virgo Moon
As you may know Virgo is the “Virgin” of the zodiac. And this virginal theme in virgo is often shown in films thru young woman having relationships with older men.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vladimir Nabokov, Virgo Moon
The novel Lolita was even written by a Virgo Moon.
Tumblr media
Dominique Swain, Virgo Moon as Lolita in Lolita(1997)
Note: Humbert Humbert was played by Virgo Sun Jeremy Irons. It’s interesting that Virgo/earth sign woman are like Lolita while Virgo/earth sign men crave someone like Lolita.
Tumblr media
Meena Suvari, Virgo Moon as Angela Hayes in American Beauty(1999)
Side Note: Lester was played by Kevin Spacey, Taurus Moon
Tumblr media
Aaliyah, Virgo Moon
Her life can somewhat be described as a Lolita-like story because of her relationship with R Kelly when she was underage. And she has a infamous song called Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number produced by R Kelly
Side Note: R Kelly has Capricorn Sun
Tumblr media
Jiah Khan, Virgo ASC as Jia in Nishabd
This is pretty self explanatory by the poster and Vijay was played by Amitabh Bachchan who has Virgo ASC*. Btw Amitabh Bachchan was born around 3-4 pm which is most likely Virgo imo than Leo.
Tumblr media
Sue Lyon, possibly Taurus ASC* due to her rodden c birth time as Lolita in Lolita(1962)
Humbert Humbert of course was played by a Taurus Sun James Mason
Tumblr media
Liv Tyler, Capricorn Moon as Lucy in Stealing Beauty(1996)
Tumblr media
Timothee Chalamet, Virgo ASC as Elio in Call Me By Your Name(2017)
Oliver was played by Armie Hammer, Virgo Sun
I have 1 more example i want to write
1.Priscilla Presley, Capricorn ASC
2.Priscilla(2023) a movie about Priscilla Presley, directed by Taurus Sun, Capricorn Moon Sofia Coppola
3.Kristen Dunst(Taurus Sun) as Marie Antoinette in Marie Antoinette(2006) directed by Sofia Coppola
Earth signs dominate the coquette aesthetic which i didn’t get to show examples(and more film exmples) of since 10 is the limits. Btw think of My Melody(Capricorn) when you think coquette or Wonyoung(Virgo) even Jennie(Capricorn). Earths signs will come to mind. Anyways thanks for reading 🩷🎀, stay healthy, stay pretty, stay confident and stay happy .
P.s coquette is a traditional based aesthetic which could be connected to the earth element as earth signs are known to be traditional

Favorite Music I Listened to in 2023
Through Census Designated this year and her various Dariacore albums, I discovered Jane Remover in 2023 and I'm really glad I did (thanks for the recommendation, Imogen!). Census Designated has an utterly fantastic vibe that resonates with feelings of nostalgia and melancholy like nothing else for me. It puts me in such a unique headspace and I will treasure it for that.
Tumblr media
The album is supposed to embody dead grass, and it nails it. It makes me recall timeless moments with friends doing nothing together. Of countless nights driving back and forth between Rochester and Minneapolis back when I didn't live in Minneapolis yet but had friends there. It brought me back to some of the feelings I had right after college when I had to leave so many friends behind to join the Real World, and how I was able to hold on to some of those relationships despite distance and change. I didn't even like this album that much on first listen. It's been through repeated listens in different contexts that it's won its way into my heart. In my basement, listening with a friend. Outside, listening with some friends around a bonfire. On lonely drives to and from my various old stomping grounds.
Tumblr media
TLDR: I have imprinted on this album and it's now a core memory and feeling that I can reference back to in the future when I want to revel in the emotions of a certain time period in my life. Good shit. Also, good companion piece to the game, Fallow.
Tumblr media
I listened to some of the songs from Caroline Polachek's new album, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You, for the first time in the car with some friends driving through a small town in Wisconsin. It was on full blast. What a sound! The album has so much energy. It's just absolute banger city.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Say what you want. But I've waited so long for a new Skrillex album and we got 2 in one year. Been a fan ever since listening over and over again to every single track he put out back in middle and high school on my school bus rides from 2011-2014. His work had a huge impact on my musical taste and my own music. Not every track on these albums hit for me. They never have on any of the past albums. But the ones that hit, fucking hit.
Tumblr media
I had listened to some underscores songs a couple years ago and liked them, but never looked much further into the artist's music until a friend brought them up again. Then they released a new album this year and all hell broke loose. Great music. Energy, passion, emotion, all the good stuff.
Tumblr media
Frost Children is great. Saw them live this year. They sound even better live. Listen to Frost Children. Favorite song is COUP.
Tumblr media
Also saw Arooj Aftab play live with Vijay Iyer and Shahzad Ismaily and it was just chill and beautiful sounds with haunting vocals the whole time. Good stuff.
Tumblr media
Dodgr had only really put out the occasional single for so long and each one was an absolute banger with a great and unique vocal style over some good beats. I missed that she put out a whole album last year. It slaps.
Tumblr media
Also, I want to give one final shoutout to a band I forgot to mention, Geese and their album this year 3D Country. It's like neo-Dad Rock or punk country. A blend of country/rock music with punk cowboy vocals. It was the music that was the most out of my wheelhouse out of everything I've listened to this year and I love it now. Saw them live and they were great.
Honorable mentions:
Elise Trouw - Losing Sleep
KNOWER - KNOWER FOREVER
Alexander Panos - Nascent (2022)
Rebecca Black - Let Her Burn

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐖𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 : 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈2898𝐀𝐃
A/n : it's long af and not in points format. sit tight. ‼️spoilers‼️
So if you follow me on here you know I watched the movie the first day so in a sense this thing is delayed but we will ignore it. Now starting the actual stuff you're reading this :
the movie starts with epic sequence of mahabharat and takes us through the years of humanity for Ashwathama's point of view. We enter the live action from the rebel's point of view. The whole sequence though lacking in the emotion connect does its primary job of setting up how people think and how the world works which let me tell you is as fucked up as I thought. kudos to nagi on showing that.
we slide into my man bhairava's entry right away and let me be very honest it was a fanservice sequence and as a fan I was SERVED. prabhas looks delicious and most of his jokes land good enough to pull out a snort from at minimum and a full cackle at others.
disha patani angle? like I said I was sus about it from the beginning but it's not as bad as I thought. it could've been avoided but it doesn't feel as forced as I expected and gives a some vital information about complex functioning and (for me) some more insight in bhairava's or in general mindset of people of that age.
next is sumathi. I have never gone through emotions as quick as that. the scene when she gets caught and all I almost died. deepika is my queen and she showed me she ain't leaving that spot any time soon. the fire walk had the hair on my nape stand up.
the ashwathama intro in that temple? loved it. big b as ashwathama SLAYED. SLAYED SLAYED. the way he is just a giant protector and so fucking badass and when he kneels infront of deepika. I wanna cry. BIG B NAILED IT ALL.
kamal sir honest to God scared me. like he comes on the screen and there was this silence that would fall over and just the over all vibe 'something bad' is borderline bone chilling. that dialogue dilevery? UFFFFFFFFF.
THE INTERVAL BLOCK. the way it was a clear as fucking day reference to climax reveal at the same time a misdirection had me cursing nagi affectionately. like sir what the fuck.
then coming to cameos. mrunal's character couldn't stablish the emotional connect but it does set up the 'nobody is safe here' beautifully.
dq playing prabhas's father wasn't on my 2024 bingo but I'm glad he did the role because istg he looks so good plus the way he asks bhairava not to change. way to give my man daddy issues.
then who? brahmanandam sir as the landlord is pure GOLD. rajamouli one uped everyone here too 😭💀🤚🏻 as much as I do like Vijay I think he was a miscast for arjun.
idk the names but the one who played uttara and kaira? MWAH. loved it.
ashwathama vs bhairava fights are so fucking good. like they hit you as hard as the older man hits my man.
THE CLIMAX is everything though. like the way it goes hopless to OH. MY. GOD. to badass to NOOOOO WHAT THE FUCKKKK is pure art.
in all its a 9/10 movie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. why not 10/10? bcz a few things pull it back. like the slow pacing of the first half which I don't personally mind but not everyone is like me. then the song with disha was kind of unecessary. some action seemed a little junky, a few jokes couldn't hit.

Jawan (2023) Spoiler Review
I urge anyone and everyone to watch it because it is so much fun from beginning to end. Also, SRK is just ugggghhh so damn hot.
Spoilers from here on out.
Alright, let me get this out of the way first: the movie was very massy and I loved it. That said, I wasn't completely blown away by the story and delivery because I'm up to my eyeballs in south Indian mass movies.
Now, there are people who look down on very massy action films. They think it's inferior or not nuanced enough. Some like only certain mass films and think that the ones they like are the superior kind of mass movies. If you're that kind of person, we're gonna have problems.
One, Jawan isn't a mindblowing film BUT it is undeniably a fun film with lots of exciting action, a good and tight storyline, and good songs.
SRK is SRK. There's a reason fans call him King Khan. His charisma is off the charts. He is great as Azad and absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable as Vikram Rathore. I am serious about the unforgettable part. I fear that his next characters, especially if they're older guys, will be compared to the legend Vikram Rathore. I almost wish Atlee would make a sequel because I want to see Vikram again, in his silver fox era, going on missions with his team (and his son somewhere there).
I wasn't really surprised with the DILF in this movie because I do think Atlee has some daddy issues. If you've seen his older movies like Mersal and Bigil, you might have noticed that the dad characters are given banger bgms and better entry scenes (Vetrimaaran and Rayappan, respectively). Vijay's title card in Mersal was Vetrimaaran's theme, while the title card in Bigil has Rayappan's theme/BGM. But Atlee killed them off in those two movies, so he subverted his own tropes in Jawan (THANK GOD BECAUSE WE WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN VIKRAM RATHORE OTHERWISE - sorry, I will not shut up about Vikram okay).
The Girls. Who doesn't love the women of Jawan? Seriously. They absolutely made me giddy with excitement. One, because they were awesome, and we so their backstories and how loyal they were to Azad, and how Azad loved them and was loyal to them, too. Also, that time they called him because he was in the biggest fight of his life (WEDDING NIGHT)! That was honestly the cutest shit ever. If you saw Bigil, Atlee was gunning for that, too, but Bigil is more tamed seeing as it is a sports movie.
Nayanthara and Deepika as they love interests are really good. I was so sad when I learned Aishwarya's fate (shoutout to Atlee who *also* named the mom here Aishwarya -- they're both strong, amazing women). Nayanthara is so damn good and so damn cool (but I am biased towards Jayam Ravi/Nayanthara pairing lmao).
That Sanjay Dutt cameo! Oh, man, I laughed and clapped! I had such a ball of a time. And the revelation that they were friends and he had been helping him all along! Aaaaaah, so satisfying to see honestly. Atlee, why don't you make this a series? I wanna see more of all of them.
Now, on to some things that didn't feel so satisfying to me:
I have seen Vijay Sethupathi play the villain role several times. His performance as Bhavani in Master and Vedha in Vikram Vedha (2017) are tough to beat. It's also really difficult not to compare his performance in Jawan to his performance in those two films because I had such high expectations (yes, I know, my fault a little bit). I feel like his charisma that he usually brings to the table was only seen in small parts, bits and pieces. So, that felt a little bit underwhelming.
Okay, so I like the songs! Anirudh has shown how versatile he is in producing different song genres (but currently movies and fans expect hero-elevation music from him, and that is completely understandable). But I couldn't pinpoint Vikram or Azad's main theme or main bgm. I'm recalling all the Bollywood movies I've watched over the years, and perhaps this isn't a thing in Bollywood films? (Again, if you think having specific bgm for the hero's entry or badass moment is corny, this review isn't for you, sorry, I'm into that shit, I grew up on anime). I know there's a bgm for Azad's entry at the jail and there's literally a song called Vikram Rathore but they just didn't stand out much. You can, of course, argue that SRK doesn't need bgms to elevate him to god-like status. That's true. This is just a me thing, as someone who looks forward to such bgms in mass movies from the south.
OK, I didn't think my review would be this long. I just had many thoughts while watching Jawan. Anyway, like I said, this one is a total banger of a movie. SRK is an absolute joy to watch! What an amazing performer and actor!

Celebrating 49 years of #Deewaar (24/01/1975).
Deewaar, one of the greatest Indian films of all time, was directed by the legendary Yash Chopra. It continues to captivate audiences with its powerful performances, compelling storytelling, and timeless themes. A major critical and commercial success upon its release, Deewar features #AmitabhBachchan in an iconic role as Vijay Verma, a dock worker who becomes a powerful underworld figure. His performance is celebrated for its raw emotion and intensity.
The film’s memorable soundtrack, composed by R.D. Burman, includes classics like "Kehdoon Tumhe, Ya Chup Rahun" and "Maine Tujhe Maanga, Tujhe Paaya Hai", which have become synonymous with the film. ♠️♥️High Card Short Story 5 “Poison Phenomenon” (1/3)♦️♣️
Finn and Leo, who were constantly at odds, surprisingly shared one thing in common: a favorite band. However...
Tumblr media
Original: https://twitter.com/highcard_pj/status/1539443354550685697
Author: https://twitter.com/poipheno
Artist: https://twitter.com/ebimoji3
“Wrong. I understand what you’re saying. But it is surely their early days, ‘cause that’s when the riffs stood out.”
“No, it’s during their rise to fame. One can say that they peaked during the transitional period to the current era, where experimental fusion with other genres gets really ingrained in your ears.”
We were occupying the showroom of Pinochle Old Maid branch office. I had pulled a stool next to Leo’s desk and sat down with him. Leo kept his legs crossed while leaning against his backrest and armrest.
“That’s why, the true value of their frontman, Jeff, was only demonstrated through his raw songwriting during the early days of the band.”
“I don’t deny it. However, it was thanks to musical diversity backed by textbook proficiency that Poipheno has earned their reputation today.”
—Poison Phenomenon. Or Poipheno for short. It was an FK[*] rock band which I admired a lot. In the orphanage, I didn’t receive pocket money, so somehow I managed to scrape together a few, and I had been buying secondhand CDs and other goods little by little.
Just recently, through a chance encounter, I learned that Leo was actually a fellow fan of Poipheno. Ever since then, we would occasionally talk about Poipheno and one thing led to another, but perhaps because we were born and raised too differently, at its core our tastes didn’t exactly match.
“Leo, give it a listen one more time.”
I plugged my earphones into my smartphone and stuck one of the earpiece into Leo’s ear.
“Oi, don’t touch my body without permission.”
“Whatever, just listen.”
I put the other piece into my ear. As soon as I pressed play, what flowed through was a killer tune from their first album, “Get Me Out”.
As the norm for a band’s indie days, the recording quality wasn’t the best, but it was precisely why the charisma of their vocalist and bassist Bill stood out.
I moved my body along to the song instinctively. No matter how many times I’ve listened to it, it would still tug on my heartstrings.
“Huh, if it’s not you two. Acting like lovers like that, what’s gotten into you?”
Wendy, with a document in hand, was peering at us. Taking off her work glasses, she blinked several times in disbelief.
“We’re listening to Poipheno. Don’t you dare interrupt this sacred moment. Or else I’m gonna blast it off.”
In the showroom, originally some classical music or something along that line which I didn’t get at all was being played. Compared to that sort of sleep-inducing, classy stuff, Poipheno was ten thousand times better.
“Finn. Wendy is a bit artistically-challenged. Excuse her behavior.”
Wendy let out a small yelp, and the papers fell off her hands. Following that, she clamped over her mouth using both of her hands.
“Leo is standing up for Finn...... Gross......”
“Why do you think that. It’s wonderful to see that those two seems to be getting along well and spending time together, isn’t it.”
From his desk, Vijay remarked.
“It’s the law of similarity, you see. Poipheno is what’s connecting them.”
While sipping chai from his glass mug, he stroked the leaf of a houseplant sitting on his desk using his fingertips.
“By the way, what’s Poipheno?”
It was Wendy asking. I got caught off guard by her question and fell off my chair.
“You’ve never heard of Poipheno before?”
“I guess not. Is there anything wrong with that?”
Leo, too, sprung to his feet with an accusing glare in his blue eyes.
“You! Do you seriously live in Fourland?!”
“That’s bad news, Wendy! Absolutely dreadful news!”
“Huh, wha, what did I do wrong?! Vijay, what are they talking about!”
Wendy might not be aware of it, but she had a gullible side, and as such was easily swept by the tide.
Vijay returned the look with eyes that did not falter in the slightest.
“Yes, I do. They’re a 4-piece band from Silphium. They’ve released a series of smash hits that have been highly praised by music critics. In their early days, they used to be a hard rock-oriented FK rock with dominant riffs, but since the all the members had graduated from music school, they have also incorporated jazz and fusion at some points. During the latter half of their discography, somehow they also incorporated a progressive feeling into groove, while still maintaining their pop sound. It is said that they’ve left a significant impact on the future of Fourland’s music scene. Classifying them into any particular genre is difficult, and they continue to release highly accomplished works, thus despite their short period of activity they are considered to be a legendary band.”
“No way..... You clearly know too much.”
Suddenly, Wendy knocked some sense back to Vijay, who had been rambling without a pause. In excitement, I blurted out.
“Vijay! Were you a secret fan too!?”
“That is not the case.”
“Well then, do tell me. What do you not know, instead?” I kept on cornering him.
At the same time, Leo jumped right in the middle of the showroom.
“We’re temporarily closing the shop. If there are any clients coming, I’m leaving it to Bernard.”
Wendy flailed her hands in the air.
“Huh!? No, no, you can’t possibly do that--”
“It’s Poipheno in the heart of the problem! Wendy, do you even understand how dire it is!?”
“Right, right!”
I took advantage of the enraged Leo.
“Damned if I do, damned if I don’t.....”
“Finn, blast it off.”
“Aye, aye, Manager Sir!”
“Good grief..... If only you’re always this obedient, our job would go so much more smoothly, wouldn’t it.”
Wendy commented with as much sarcasm as she could muster. Ignoring her jab, I turned the volume on my smartphone to maximum.
“Music start!”
♠️♥️♦️♣️
TL notes: I’m in no way a professional translator so if you find any mistakes, please do not hesitate to inform me right away. [*] As Muno has clarified in his podcast, apparently “FK rock” means “Fourland Kingdom rock”! As you may have guessed already, it’s a direct parody to “UK rock”. That gives an impression of how Poipheno’s music would possibly sound like...

Currently Reading:
through several pages of 'Rache Bartmoss' Brainware Blowout —the hardware and software compendium for Cyberpunk' to get a better feel for netrunning and what programs Jaysen and Vijay prefer to use. tbh, it gives me a headache. I'll be picking some programs each of them will favor to use but might as well decide, they are capable to use most of them that are not super special. It's too much for my brain. (thank you Ry and Thy for choosing not to make use of netrunning at all).
Last Song:

Love Faderhead. German EBM, would be perfect for Cyberpunk since the guy himself is a fan of that overall CP genre since Neuromancer I've read. Is one of his tracks in the new CP radio station? I doubt it. I strongly want to make a playlist what I'd like to have as a German Techno(ise) radio station (and what probably would be Ry's favorite station to listen to).

ZERO INTERVIEWS, MINIMAL PRESS EVENTS: Shah Rukh Khan would follow the 'Pathaan model' for Jawan.
Jawan, the much-anticipated film, will be released exactly one month from now, and the anticipation is palpable. The anticipation had been building since the announcement, and it grew significantly after the teaser was posted. Last week, the song 'Zinda Banda' was released. Bollywood Hungama was the first to report the true name of this massively scaled music. The trailer and a few more songs will be released soon before the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer hits theatres on September 7.
Tumblr media
According to Bollywood Hungama, SRK would be visible only briefly during the film's promotion. According to a source, "Shah Rukh Khan didn't give any interviews at all before the release of his last film, Pathaan (2023). Yet, it was an all-time blockbuster. He wants to continue with this strategy for Jawan and is confident that even without interviews, the audiences will be pulled into the cinemas."
The source also added, "A few events are planned but it will be without Q-and-A sessions, as is the norm nowadays. However, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to rock the show with his funny and thought-provoking quotes. Also, fans need not worry as he'll keep conducting the 'Ask SRK' sessions on Twitter from time to time. It’s a super-hit strategy. Shah Rukh himself loves going through fan questions and replying in his trademark witty style. Fans, too, go gaga over his replies."
The source signed off by saying, "Ultimately, the content of Jawan is very enticing. As a result, the team believes that these minimal promotional strategies will work big time."
Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra in addition to Shah Rukh Khan. Deepika Padukone makes a cameo appearance in this action comedy directed by Atlee.

Vicky Kaushal: 'Katrina's Approval of 'Tauba Tauba' Means More Than an Oscar'
In a heartwarming display of marital support, Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal recently revealed that his wife Katrina Kaif's approval of his performance in the song 'Tauba Tauba' from the upcoming film 'The Great Indian Family' means more to him than any prestigious award.
The actor, known for his versatile performances in films like 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and 'Sardar Udham', opened up about his relationship with Kaif during a promotional event for his latest project. Kaushal's candid remarks have since taken social media by storm, with fans praising the couple's strong bond.
"Katrina's opinion matters the most to me," Kaushal shared with a smile. "When she liked 'Tauba Tauba', it felt like I had won an Oscar. Her approval is the ultimate validation for my work."
The song 'Tauba Tauba', which features Kaushal in a never-before-seen avatar, has already garnered millions of views online. Fans have been raving about the actor's energetic dance moves and expressions, a departure from his usual intense on-screen persona.
Industry insiders note that Kaushal's willingness to step out of his comfort zone for 'The Great Indian Family' showcases his growth as an actor. The film, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, is a family comedy that promises to tickle the funny bones of audiences across India.
