How will the cg react to figuring out that he is the cursor?
Well I don't want to say toooooo much because that's something I'll be writing out, so I do want to leave it for when I'm writing it out- but I can definitely say there's going to be a lot of shock... since in the Cursor Alan Au, the Color Gang, like canon, can see normal human Alan through the screen, and know he just controls the cursor...
So learning he's not out there anymore, but stuck in the Outernet, stuck in the cursor itself...? It's gonna be a big reveal.
Now if only Alan could talk... would certainly make the whole situation easier for all of them x3 at least in this situation though, suppose that's the trade for finally hearing the stick figures talk- now he can't vocally talk. Darn.

I've been doing a lot of grocery delivery in the country lately, so I ordered myself a nice bumper sticker so I fit in with everyone else's stuff :)
I've seen a lot of these lately, but they were all of a pride flag I don't recognize. Not sure which gender/sexuality has the red and white stripes with the blue with white stars in the corner, but I guess it's an ok design. The rainbow is the traditional LGBT flag, though, so I feel it symbolizes the collective queer community a little better and will be a little more noticeable/recognizable than niche flags, like this stars and stripes guy.

There's always a slight yearning in the back of my mind wishing I had been born in the right place, time, family situation, income level, etc. to have just lived in one single house for my entire life. Imagine being born in a place that still suits you, even through all of your personal evolutions and etc. The idea of deep familiarity with an area because you've lived and explored it for 40+ years, being encased in a web of memories and connections. Being able to clean out your old childhood bedroom and find personal artifacts, to dig in the yard and remember. I know those lives can still be plenty imperfect, but there's just something so seemingly solid and stable and Grounding about it that I sometimes wish I could have.. (At least from my outside perspective as someone who's moved around a bit geographically and even within the same area, never lives in the same house/ apartment /etc. for more than a few years usually.) Like... having a place that is printed upon, fully your own, rather than chronically a visitor, every thought of a space always tempered with the notion that one day soon you'll have to pack it all up again, etc. There's something peaceful about the permanence.

best thing about having a minecraft-based dr: you can build what's in your dr and have damn near (depending on how close or far you are from blocky in the dr itself) a 1:1 representation of the key places in your dr.
worst thing about having a minecraft dr: you can build all the relevant places... but good fucking luck with ever finishing it.
(also: running mods + shaders is something my laptop can manage but oh boy do i feel bad about my cpu temp)
