finally finished this redraw of a piece I drew from college (I'm pretty sure freshmen year or the summer after)! It's supposed to be one of those school sports photos lol and I imagine this is from Vieno's 9th grade year and Egil's in 11th so it's bittersweet since that's the same year everything went down.

I do think that the hands give away that this the sketch and some of the linework was from when I started it lol I've gotten a lot better at hands since then

1. Are you named after anyone?

I don't think so. My mom told be she found this name suitable after I was born, as I was a pretty fragile child, very quiet one.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Yhm...I don't know. But it is good to cry and let out all the negative emotions!

3. Do you have kids?

No, absolutely not. I am definitely too young and not thinking about such stuff as family. Maybe some day, but for now my education goes as a main priority.

4. Do you use sarcasm?

Only with my friends, I know I won't harm them by it, we love a good sarcastic, dark humour.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Their eyes. In Gaulia we have a saying that "eyes are the ink that our stories are written with". It means that we can learn a lot about person from just their eyes and how they look at the world. In addition, they are the most beautiful element of one's reflection.

6. What's your eye colour?

My eyes are something between grey and brown, my sclera are black.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Scary movies WITH happy endings! Why to choose only one of them, when the mixture is the best combination possible ✨

8. Any special interests?

I love studying astral magic, especially stars! That's why I chose this major in Quinque Lupi Academy. I even have telescope at home, so even outside of school I can continue my observation and measurements.

Aside from that? Hmmmm? I really like dancing. When I was young my mom taught me how to dance and since then I use every opportunity to go to the ball and dance.

To relax, aside from watching stars, I recently took up strolling, especially at night in the woods, usually with Ferrer, enjoying the nature and silence after long days of studying.

9. Where were you born?

Gaulia, to be exact the northern region. It's really cold and we mostly leave under the darkness of the night.

10. What are your hobbies?

Like mentioned before: astral magic, dancing, strolling

11. Do you have any pets?

Unfortunately no. And we are not allowed to have pets in the Academy. Aside from Ferrer, thanks to his major he is lucky to have a raven as a pet. His name is Pitch. Does it count?

Also, Lech's moms have some horses and Nurah owns a lizard in Furidium, her name is Danera.

12. What sports do you play/have played?

I am not really a sporty person, but at the sports classes with Professor Toshiko I really enjoy running.

Also, does dance count as a sport? It should, some of them are really draining.

13. How tall are you?

5'18" (158cm)

14. Favourite subject at school?

From my astral magic course I think I enjoy Professor Jericho's "Star's and their usage: practical classes".

Outside of my specialisation, I love Professor Brontë's meditation classes, surrounded by forests, next to his greenhouse.

15. Dream job?

I'd love to continue my educational pursuit and become a professor at Quinque Lupi. It is my dreams since I was little and I know I will fulfill it. Why won't I, if I pour my whole heart into it?!

Šiandien vykome į video ir animacijos gamybos įmones Bored Panda Studio ir MeinArt. Čia turėjome galimybė iš kiek arčiau išvysti kelis iš daugelio perspektyvinių pasirinkimų, kuriuos gali suteikti multimedijos dizaino studijos VTDK.

BORED PANDA - tai viral turinio gamykla, grindžiama trumpų filmukų kūrimu. Ši studija turi kelias patalpas, kuriose yra vadinamieji greenscreenai, įvairių estetikų scenos, taip pat ir  aprangos, grimo ir makiažo zonos, kambariai, kuriuose gaminamos butaforijos filmukams (angl. props). Šioje pasaulinio garso įmonėje pirminį darbą atlieką researcher'iai (informacijos ieškotojai, kaupėjai ir pranešėjai). Mes žinome, kad nuo reasearch'o iki filmuko įgyvendinimo gali praeiti nuo dviejų savaičių iki vieno mėnesio. Bored Panda Studios pasižymi tuo, jog kuria turinį ne tik Youtube programai, bet ir populiariausiam pasaulio socialiniam tinklui Facebook. Šis projektas yra pasaulinio masto, kurio turinys greitai keičiasi ir adaptuojas, priklausomai nuo žiūrovų užgaidų, kas tam tikru metu yra paklausu ir galėtų surinkti aukštą peržiūrų skaičių.

Metams bėgant vieną turinį keičia kitas, kai kurios tendencijos tampa neaktualios, tačiau išlaikyti stabilų peržiūrų kiekį šiai kompanijai yra svarbu. Čia taip pat gali dirbti rekvizito dailininkai, grimuotojai, aprangos dizaineriai.

Bored panda turi daugiau atšakų (Pvz. Crafty Panda), visa įmonė turi apie 600 narių, tačiau šiame padalinyje darbuojasi tik 260. Ši studija laikosi tvarumo mentaliteto – objektai yra pernaudojami kaip sugalvoja montuotojai.

Kas įdomu, jog Youtube kanalo augintojas yra analitikas ir strategas, ne tik kūrėjas. Sužinojome, kad kuriant viral tipo turini svarbu yra laikytis šių veiksmų: tyrimas, įgyvendinimas, tinkamos auditorijos paieška, thumbnails (video viršeliai, matomi prieš ant jų paspaudžiant), greitas medžiagos paruošimo laikas, gebėjimas išsaugoti ir tausoti rekvizitą, svarbus ir tikslingas video medžiagos archyvavimas.

Žvelgdami iš mūsų, kaip būsimų animatorių, pusės nepabūgome paklausti, kokios perspektyvos nusimatytų animatoriams šioje kompanijoje. Sužinojome, kad kanale "Firespike" yra kuriama animacija, tačiau kol kas jis ir nėra stabilus ir struktūruotas.

MEIN ART STUDIO - tai studija užsiėmanti ir komerciniais, ir meniniais projektais. Joje dirba dviejų atskirų sričių specialistai - iliustratoriai ir animatoriai. Kaip išgirdau iš pasakotojos, šioje studijoje tarp darbuotojų ir klientų visada ieškomi kompromisai, kadangi mažai turima laiko parengti reklamą ar panašaus pobūdžio momentinį turinį vartotojui. Tačiau, anot vedėjos, dažniausiai klientus perkalbėti į paprastesnį projektą yra sudėtinga. Kol kas su dirbtiniu intelektu įmonėje dar nėra dirbama.

Man patiko tai, jog į abi studijas buvome pasitikti ir lydimi jų darbuotojams dirbant realiu laiku, todėl susipažinimas su šiomis įstaigomis, mano manymu, buvo organiškas ir gyvas. Ekskursijos vedėjos pasakojo rišliai, įdomiai ir detaliai – tą rodo geri atsiliepimai kartu su bendrakursiais reflektavus kelionės įspūdžius pokalbyje. Manau, kad tai buvo sėkmingas pirmasis žvilgsnis į abiejų įmonių veiklą bei jų suteikiamas ateities galimybes.

LARMOIMENT

HV Galleri, Djurgården, Stockholm October-November 2023

My video and outdoor work were showcased under the title LARMOIMENT. I collaborated closely with Paavo Halonen, an artist based in Helsinki, Finland. At the opening the performance Vieno Motors was made by the two of us. Flowers and recycled materials was attached to visitors bodies.

Eight constellations consisting of artists from Finland and Sweden come together in dialogues to deepen their experiences in collaboration. The 18 participating artists work within the fields of art, crafts, and design. They all have a strong connection to materials, which is defined in their works both concretely and conceptually.

Mitt videoverk samt ett installativt verk på innergården visades under titeln LARMOIMENT. Jag samarbetade nära med Paavo Halonen, en konstnär baserad i Helsingfors, Finland. På öppningen genomförde vi två Vieno Motors performance där blommor och återbruk kopplades till människors kroppar.

Åtta konstellationer bestående av konstnärer från Finland och Sverige, möts i dialoger och fördjupar sina erfarenheter i samarbete. De 18 medverkande konstnärerna verkar inom fälten konst, konsthantverk och design. De har alla en stark koppling till material, något som definieras i verken såväl konkret som med ett konceptuellt förhållningssätt.
