I was going over Soundwave’s appearances in the Aligned novels for the umpteenth time, and I finally noticed something that seems to confirm he has a face beneath the visor, or at least has optics:
He [Soundwave] kept in touch with the two Minicons via a direct videolink that played as if on the interior of his own optics.

The hitmaker, 32, has made a name for himself since releasing his debut solo album Walls, in 2020. In the years following the record hitting Number 4 on the Official UK Charts and being certified Silver, Tomlinson has gone on to tour the globe and bagged two Top Ten singles.
But it appears his solo career is receiving industry recognition with the Doncaster, South Yorks, star bagging Artist of the Year, having gone up against fellow South Yorkshire-born singer, Self Esteem and Newcastle's Sam Fender. The star was awarded the gong at the Northern Music Awards, appearing via videolink to celebrate his award.
Sitting in a hotel room, the singer said: "Hi, I'm Louis Tomlinson and I'm really sorry I can't be with you tonight at the Nordoff and Robbins Northern Music Awards, I'm currently on tour. But I just want to say, it means the world to win Artist of the Year. Thank you, thank you and thanks for doing such an incredible thing for charity."
Although Tomlinson burst onto the scene singing pop songs, in recent years, he has branched out into punk rock, indie pop, soft rock and EDM, proving to be one of the most versatile artists in the industry. The musician is currently preparing for the final shows of his Faith In The Future World Tour which he kicked off on May 26, 2023, with his final show being on September 8, 2024, as part of Superbloom Festival.

A man has admitted abducting a primary school girl while dressed as a woman before sexually assaulting her at his home in the Scottish Borders.
Andrew Miller, who is also known as Amy George, offered to give the girl a lift home in February of this year.
The 53-year-old instead drove her to his own house, locked her in a bedroom and refused to let her leave.
He then subjected her to a series of sexual assaults over the course of the next 27 hours.
She was only able to escape from the bedroom after Miller fell asleep. She found his landline, dialled 999 and the police arrived within minutes.
Miller was still sleeping when he was arrested.
The court was told that Miller is in the process of transitioning to female.
At the time of his arrest, he was presenting as Amy George but confirmed he wished to be addressed as Andrew Miller using "he" pronouns for simplicity.
The girl later told police she had been unable to get a bus home and so started to walk when she was approached "by a lady in a car" who offered to give her a lift in a Jaguar car.
She said she had accepted the offer because she was cold and believed the "lady" to be non-threatening.
Miller instead took her to his own three-bedroom detached bungalow in a residential street in the village of Gattonside, near Melrose, where he kept her confined in a bedroom and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
The bedroom had a lock on the outside of the door. It had been created within the attic space of the house and had a homemade bed.
The room could only be accessed through a hall cupboard which also had a lock on the outside of the door.
The court heard that it was only by "complete fortune" that the child was able to escape once Miller fell asleep.
When officers arrived after being alerted by her 999 call they found Miller still sleeping and wearing a bra, silicone breasts, female pants and tights.
Miller and the child were not known to each other before the abduction.
Miller pled guilty to the charges at the High Court in Edinburgh via videolink and did not appear in person.
The offences included abduction, sexual assault, possession of indecent images of children and intentionally causing a child under the age of 13 to look at a sexual image.

No distinction between male and female rape says Northern Ireland judge as woman is jailed for raping a man
Judge Patrick Lynch KC made the comments in what is believed to be the UK’s first case of a female being convicted of raping a man. The judge imposed a four year sentence on Tanya Lord (41) today after she admitted having sex with the sleeping man.
Ordering Lord to serve two years in jail and two under supervised licence conditions, Judge Lynch said while neither he nor counsel could find any similar case anywhere in the UK, there “seems to be no distinction to be drawn between this and the rape of a female.”
Outlining how the victim, who watched proceedings at Craigavon Crown Court by videolink, has been left mentally scarred and suspicious of people by his ordeal, the judge said “there’s a repeated myth that males are less susceptible” to the consequences of sex attacks.
He revealed that the victim has had to undergo counselling, is still prescribed medication for his mental health, has been left untrusting of people and “feels alone” unless he’s with his kids.
“I would not wish this on anyone,” the victim said in his impact statement, adding that he would “encourage anyone who has been abused to come forward.”
Judge Lynch said if the myth about male victims “needs to be disabused, it can be disabused now by the contents of the victim impact statement I have just read out” and warning that “there’s no distinction between male and female rape - the fact that a male is the victim doesn’t make it any less serious than the rape of a female victim.”
On the day her trial was due to start last December English woman Lord, from Derrylodge Manor in Lurgan, entered a guilty plea that on 23 June 2020, she caused a man “to engage in sexual activity that he did not consent to.”
Opening the facts of the case for the first time, prosecuting lawyer Joseph Murphy outlined how the victim had been drinking all day and met up Lord after she finished work.
They went back to her house, had a few more drinks and some food and then went to bed with each party wearing shorts.
The court heard however that as Lord “is a lesbian and he knew her sexual propensity there was therefore a proper assumption and understandable assumption that there would be no sexual activity and none was forthcoming as regards consent in his part."
Mr Murphy said however that in the early hours of the morning, the victim woke up to find himself being raped. Lord’s DNA profile was later found on swabs taken from the victim.
Addressing specific aspects of the unusual case, Mr Murphy argued the fact that the victim was asleep and vulnerable when he was attacked was an aggravating feature while in mitigation, Lord had admitted her guilt.
“Factually this case involved a woman having sex with a man without his consent and there should be parity between male victims of sexual crime and female victims,” Mr Murphy argued, submitting that to do otherwise would affirm the “myth that men are less affected by sexual assault than women.”
Defence counsel Michael Ward said Lord, who suffers from a personality disorder and has poor mental health, “has expressed remorse for her offending and some victim awareness.”
In addition to the four year sentence, Judge Lynch also imposed a seven year Sexual Offences Prevention Order, warning Lord that if she breached any of the three conditions “that will be a criminal offence” that could carry a jail sentence.
He also ordered Lord to sign the police sex offenders register for the rest of her life.

She was sentenced to 14 weeks’ imprisonment.
A restraining order lasting for 10 years where she can't attend any event where Harry is performing.
She can't contact Harry directly or indirectly.
She can't enter an area of north west London.
She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £134.
Article below
A woman who stalked Harry Styles has been jailed and banned from seeing him perform. Myra Carvalho, 35, who appeared at Harrow Crown Court sitting at Hendon Magistrates’ Court in London, was said to have stalked the singer by sending him 8,000 cards in less than a month. She was sentenced to 14 weeks’ imprisonment after pleading guilty on Tuesday to a charge of stalking involving serious alarm or distress, a court official said. A restraining order lasting for 10 years was also imposed on Carvalho who was also told she cannot attend any event where Harry Styles is performing. Myra, who had been staying at a backpacker hostel in Kensington and Chelsea, south west London, was also ordered not to contact Harry Styles, directly or indirectly. She has been told not to enter an area of north west London which was described in the court, the official added. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £134. Harry was reportedly left 'shaken' by Myra's actions, after she was charged with causing him serious harm or distress. The hitmaker had recently returned from a romantic Caribbean getaway with his actress girlfriend Taylor Russell, 29, when it is claimed he was targeted by the woman in North London. A source said: 'Harry was really shaken up. He had spent the start of the month in Anguilla with Taylor and James Corden and he'd had a great break. 'This happened not long after he had come back. Harry just wants to carry on as normal, but this has been concerning.' A spokesperson for Harry Styles declined to comment when approached back in January. Myra, who has a partner at home in Brazil, had left without her parents' knowledge and expressed 'sexual urges' towards the 30-year-old actor and singer, the court heard back in February at her plea and trial preparation hearing. Her parents both attended the hearing back in February as they wept in court as they saw their daughter appear via videolink from Bronzefield jail in Surrey. Her barrister, Clementine Simon, told the court her client's doctor in Brazil believed she was suffering from a 'manic episode' and questioned if she was fit to enter a plea. Judge Karim Ezzat sent her case to be heard at the same court on April 19 as Carvalho was remanded in custody. Previously, Harry was reportedly left 'shaken' by his alleged stalker who is said to have harassed him. She appeared at Highbury Corner magistrates' court on January 23 where it was heard she 'pursued a course of conduct – namely harassment – which amounted to stalking causing serious alarm or distress'. The Sun said the charge added Carvalho's alleged actions had a 'substantial adverse effect' on Harry's 'usual day-to-day activities'. She was also reportedly told as part of the charge she 'knew, or ought to have known, your course of conduct would cause alarm or distress'. Harry was targeted by stalker Diana Tarazaga-Orero, 29, in 2022. She forced her way into his home three years after being convicted of stalking, which The Sun said forced him to upgrade his security, which included employing a night guard and installing a panic lock on his bedroom door.

In videolink conference between George Jetson and Bill Spacely of Spacely's Sprockets
BILL SPACELY, trying not to beat the bush: Jetson ... how many times have I dismissed you from employment, only to realise just how important you were to hire you back? GEORGE JETSON, somewhat nonchalantly: I'd have to say the number is rather difficult to count; it seems that it's been quite a lot of times that's happened, Spacely! BILL SPACELY: Anyhow, I just thought I'd ask and see how you were doing at any rate ...

Elon Musk is not showing any sign of slowing down in meddling in countries’ internal politics as he continues to push his far-right agenda. The world’s richest man is trying to replicate what he has achieved in just concluded US elections that saw President Donald Trump back to White House after four years. Tesla boss was the biggest influence aside politician that was championing Mr Trump second term, to the point that he made cash promise in that regard. He was repeated found in company of Donald Trump and was rewarded with head of novelty Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), his growing influence continues to spread across the border of America to the world.
There are lots of disruptive and drastic orders President Trump has made just a few weeks into his second tenure that has backing of Elon Musk, his perception about politics not just in America is what he tends to replicate in global politics and form popular system of mode of governance. US Agency for International Development (USAID) has come under his backlash to the extent of calling it “criminal organisation” the cutting of the aids have sent a serious shocking wave to countries that have relied on the assistance, Trump’s administration which Elon Musk is integral part of, has withdrawn from World Health Organization (WHO) and have touted NATO members to step up, earlier warned that United States will not tolerate any member country not living up to their obligation.
Elon Musk was at it after the news of grooming gang scandal in the UK, that involved abuse of English girls in various English towns by British men of Pakistani origin, scandal that heavily linked to the issues of immigration and race, he has accused the UK government of deliberate efforts to cover up the scandal for fear of being called racists and Islamphobic. Elon Musk made direct attack to the Prime Minister of the UK, Keir Starmer, who was between 2008-2013 the head of Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) failed in curtailing the groom gang scandal. In his tweets he alleged that Keir Starmer is ineffective and must go, and face charges for complicity in the worst mass crime in the history of Britain and asked King Charles III to dissolve the UK Parliament and order new elections.
Elon Musk has taken his far-right agenda to Germany having thrown weight behind far-right political party, AfD (Alternative für Deutschland), last month he hosted the party leader Alice Weidel on X and admonished that only AfD can save Germany from what he labelled “wokeish liberal education system”, later in January Elon Musk addressed an AfD rally in Halle, Germany, via videolink, his damning speech in the rally will arguably be that “Germany needs to move beyond feeling guilty for the Nazi crimes of the past and Germans” considering the history surrounding Nazi Germany, Musk’s reckless speech and extreme speech know no limits as he feels the momentum is on his side. Will he look at African politics as something to leverage on? It is matter of time, Elon Musk growing influence in global politics has no boundary.

How to Choose the Right Mental Health Facility in Texas for Your Needs
When considering mental health care, the choice of the facility is pivotal. Trying to find proper treatment for oneself or a loved one necessitates finding the best mental health centers in TX  to ensure high-quality care. With such a myriad of options available, it is of paramount importance to consider the particular needs of the person seeking care and find a mental health center that aligns with those specificities. Therefore, here are some critical points to deliberate upon when selecting an appropriate mental health facility in Texas:
Tumblr media
1. Take into account the Specific Needs
Specify the degree and aspect of care required by yourself or your loved one initially while seeking a suitable teenage mental health facility. Many mental health institutions in Texas provide specific care, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction support, or family therapy. Specialized kids' and veteran programs can be available for mental health centers in San Antonio, and others might focus on holistic care or inpatient models of treating mental health conditions.
Look for those clinics with a well-known track record when you or a loved one seek treatment for conditions; essentially, numerous places provide personalized treatment plans to ensure that one receives optimal care.
2. Check Its Reputation
Good for the patient to get some quality care from a reputable clinic in Texas. Research good clinics from the general list provided and visit them. Check out some sites like the clinic's site or any reliable reviewing sites for some exciting experiences people had with the specific clinic.
Ask for advice from reputable individuals — your physician — or recommendation by credible mental health professionals on a commendable mental health facility in South Texas. Personal suggestions can, in fact, give you that extra peace if those suggestions consider two things: that they warrant the clinic in principle, and lauding one caring atmosphere.
3. Assess Treatment Options and Operational Services
Texas mental health centers and clinics provide diverse treatment options under various funding mechanisms. An overemphasis on the well-being of the general public also means that some such facilities concentrate on intensive care, much to the great delight of patients, with treatment options catering to audience specifics, such as medication management and particular forms of therapies.
Therefore, it's important to make certain that you choose a mental health institution that fits perfectly into circumstances when you are trying to look for treatment that may eventually involve therapy, medicine, or, even at the most critical end, 24-hour care.
4. Location and Accessibility
The site where the mental health service is located is distinguished as a great ingredient. It's imperative to have a location with easier accessibility for you, either near your residence or in a convenient area. If you're looking at a facility in San Antonio, make sure there is some form of transportation or the location fits well in your lifestyle or schedule.
Find out whether telehealth services are available, especially if you find it difficult to travel. The best mental health clinic in TX offer consultations on videolink and ongoing remote care, meaning a patient can be treated regardless of geographical limitations.
5. Check on insurance and Payment Options
We all know mental health services come with significant costs, so you will want to find a center that has either your insurance coverage or ample payment options. Most mental health clinics in Texas do hold many insurance plans but check first to avoid an unexpected bill.
There are places providing sliding-scale fees or financial assistance for those without insurance to allow more people to avail of good care in mental health whatever their socioeconomic standing.
End Note
In conclusion, So, choosing the right mental health facilities in San Antonio is some sort of an intricate choice-making process; however, it can be done by examining one's own needs, looking into available choices, and assessing treatments and costs. Provides similarity between the mental health clinic in San Antonio or any other part of Texas: the best mental health centers are among those that provide personalized and compassionate care.
Take your time, find a way to get this right, and become supportive of your mental health journey. For more information on finding the right clinic, visit Sunflower Mental Health Clinic.

What Trump's first week in office says about his stance on Ukraine
Tumblr media
For those with a vested interest in Ukraine, U.S. President Donald Trump’s first week in office was a bit of a rollercoaster.
His inauguration speech on Jan. 21 made no explicit mention of Ukraine or Russia’s full-scale invasion, prompting some to question if either was anywhere near a priority for the new president.
During his first presidential term, Trump famously praised Russian President Vladimir Putin. He has also repeatedly criticized U.S. aid to Ukraine during the election campaign ahead of his second term, prompting many in Ukraine and the West to worry about the future of assistance from Ukraine’s biggest donor.
“I can’t say if things will be better for us (now Trump has been inaugurated) because Trump is definitely not a sympathizer of Ukraine,” “Volvo,” a Ukrainian military medic told the Kyiv Independent at the time.
But a few hours later, comments from Trump began to give an indication that he was at least open to taking a hard line on Russia, saying he would likely impose additional sanctions against Moscow if Putin fails to negotiate a peace deal with Ukraine.
"Sounds likely," he said responding to a question from a reporter in the White House.
While the off-hand comment wasn’t anything close to a policy announcement, on Jan. 22, Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social and came out guns blazing, saying he would be doing Putin “a very big favor” by helping end the war.
“If a deal is not reached, I will have no other choice but to put high levels of taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States and other participating countries,” he said.
“We can do it the easy way or the hard way.”
"We can do it the easy way or the hard way," he said in reference to negotiating an end to the war, adding, "the easy way is always better."
While stressing that he is "not looking to hurt Russia" and maintaining that he has "always had a very good relationship" with Putin, Trump added, "It's time to make a deal. No more lives should be lost."
Setting ‘psychological dynamic’
Ambassador Kurt Volker, who served as U.S. special representative for Ukraine negotiations in 2017-2019, during Trump’s previous tenure, told the Kyiv Independent: "These are very strong statements coming from Trump.”
"And they do a couple of things. They establish that Putin is the one who has to act — it's not both sides that need to show restraint. This is all 'Russia has to stop the war, Putin has to stop,'" he said.
"Secondly, it's establishing that Putin is in a weak position and Trump is in a strong position, which is also very good."
Trump doubled down on his position while appearing via videolink at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Jan 23.
Tumblr media

Asked if there would be a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia by the time of next year's World Economic Forum, he replied: "Well you'll have to ask Russia. Ukraine is ready to make a deal."
Volker said such comments were important to "get that psychological dynamic straight" as Trump defines his relationship with Putin before peace negotiations begin, adding that the fact Putin later responded showed it worked.
Speaking to reporters on Jan. 24, Putin claimed Russia was ready for talks with Trump on ending the war in Ukraine, but made a clumsy attempt to shift blame for them not starting onto President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He pointed out a decree signed by Zelensky in October 2022 which declared negotiations with Putin "impossible" while leaving the door open to discussions with Russia under different leadership. Zelensky signed the decree after Russia announced the illegal annexation of four Ukrainian regions, all of which it only partially controlled.
"How can negotiations be resumed if they are officially banned?" Putin asked.
"This is a deflection by Putin," Volker said, adding his claim about being ready to talk was a "lie."
"He knows very well that Zelensky has said he wants to end the war," he added.
‘Stupid, illogical’ — Zelensky blasts Ukraine for relinquishing nuclear arms without strong security guarantees
“It was necessary to exchange (nuclear arms) for real security guarantees, and at the time, that was only NATO. And to be honest, today, it is only NATO,” President Zelensky said in an interview with the Italian newspaper Il Foglio.

In Ukraine, Trump's strong stance on Russia has been welcomed, but cautiously, tempered by an expectation that Putin has little desire to enter peace negotiations regardless of the threats coming from the U.S.
"The problem is not Trump, his ideas or expectations, the problem is Putin," Oleksandr Merezhko, the chair of the Ukrainian parliament's foreign affairs committee, told the Kyiv Independent.
Merezhko said he expected Trump to soon become "disillusioned" with Putin when he doesn't respond to the threats.
"I hope that Trump will have to take a firmer stance on Putin, as soon as he realizes that Putin has no intention to negotiate in earnest," he added.
While Trump may have quietly discarded his claim that he could end Russia's full-scale invasion "in 24 hours," his comments during his first week still indicate he believes he can end the war relatively swiftly — but time may actually be on Putin's side.
Oil leverage
Aside from the threats about sanctions, Trump also said at Davos he would ask the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to lower the price of oil, saying it would end Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine "immediately."
OPEC consists of 12 countries including Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, which collectively account for around 30% of the global oil supply. By agreeing to lower or raise the amount of oil they all produce, OPEC can dramatically affect the global oil price.
Another Trump policy — declaring open season on drilling for U.S. oil and gas — could also potentially push down prices and box out Russian oil.
Tumblr media

More sanctions and lower global oil prices would deplete Russia's main source of revenue that it uses to fund its war in Ukraine, but a recent analysis in Foreign Policy suggested any effects would likely take months to significantly hamper the Kremlin's war machine.
On the streets of Kyiv, there is little expectation that Trump will be able to end the war swiftly, or even that he can do it at all, and that ultimately, it is still up to Ukrainians to fight for it themselves.
"For now, it's too early to judge (Trump)," 18-year-old student Mykola told the Kyiv Independent on Jan. 28, adding: "I think we can only bring peace by our own actions."
"The only thing that can affect Russia is that we will make our shells and destroy the Russians directly at the front."
According to Volker, the next step for the Trump administration will be a visit to Kyiv and other European capitals by Keith Kellogg, Trump's peace envoy for Ukraine, during which he will be "gathering perspectives and information" which he will then brief his boss on.
"I think the best advice for the Trump team is to do exactly what Trump is doing — keep it simple and don't get bogged down in these side issues that Russia will throw up like saying we need elections in Ukraine," he said.
"Putin will just make stuff up and we should not negotiate on that at all. We should say it's none of his business, just stop the war. And what we do is we get a ceasefire. And then we have to be strong so that we deter future attacks," he added.
Additional reporting by Linda Hourani.
