I was going over Soundwave’s appearances in the Aligned novels for the umpteenth time, and I finally noticed something that seems to confirm he has a face beneath the visor, or at least has optics:
He [Soundwave] kept in touch with the two Minicons via a direct videolink that played as if on the interior of his own optics.
— Transformers: Exodus by Alexander C. Irvine
He’s got SOMETHING back there.

The hitmaker, 32, has made a name for himself since releasing his debut solo album Walls, in 2020. In the years following the record hitting Number 4 on the Official UK Charts and being certified Silver, Tomlinson has gone on to tour the globe and bagged two Top Ten singles.
But it appears his solo career is receiving industry recognition with the Doncaster, South Yorks, star bagging Artist of the Year, having gone up against fellow South Yorkshire-born singer, Self Esteem and Newcastle's Sam Fender. The star was awarded the gong at the Northern Music Awards, appearing via videolink to celebrate his award.
Sitting in a hotel room, the singer said: "Hi, I'm Louis Tomlinson and I'm really sorry I can't be with you tonight at the Nordoff and Robbins Northern Music Awards, I'm currently on tour. But I just want to say, it means the world to win Artist of the Year. Thank you, thank you and thanks for doing such an incredible thing for charity."
Although Tomlinson burst onto the scene singing pop songs, in recent years, he has branched out into punk rock, indie pop, soft rock and EDM, proving to be one of the most versatile artists in the industry. The musician is currently preparing for the final shows of his Faith In The Future World Tour which he kicked off on May 26, 2023, with his final show being on September 8, 2024, as part of Superbloom Festival.

2 minute read
A man has admitted abducting a primary school girl while dressed as a woman before sexually assaulting her at his home in the Scottish Borders.
Andrew Miller, who is also known as Amy George, offered to give the girl a lift home in February of this year.
The 53-year-old instead drove her to his own house, locked her in a bedroom and refused to let her leave.
He then subjected her to a series of sexual assaults over the course of the next 27 hours.
She was only able to escape from the bedroom after Miller fell asleep. She found his landline, dialled 999 and the police arrived within minutes.
Miller was still sleeping when he was arrested.
The court was told that Miller is in the process of transitioning to female.
At the time of his arrest, he was presenting as Amy George but confirmed he wished to be addressed as Andrew Miller using "he" pronouns for simplicity.
The girl later told police she had been unable to get a bus home and so started to walk when she was approached "by a lady in a car" who offered to give her a lift in a Jaguar car.
She said she had accepted the offer because she was cold and believed the "lady" to be non-threatening.
Miller instead took her to his own three-bedroom detached bungalow in a residential street in the village of Gattonside, near Melrose, where he kept her confined in a bedroom and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
The bedroom had a lock on the outside of the door. It had been created within the attic space of the house and had a homemade bed.
The room could only be accessed through a hall cupboard which also had a lock on the outside of the door.
The court heard that it was only by "complete fortune" that the child was able to escape once Miller fell asleep.
When officers arrived after being alerted by her 999 call they found Miller still sleeping and wearing a bra, silicone breasts, female pants and tights.
Miller and the child were not known to each other before the abduction.
Miller pled guilty to the charges at the High Court in Edinburgh via videolink and did not appear in person.
The offences included abduction, sexual assault, possession of indecent images of children and intentionally causing a child under the age of 13 to look at a sexual image.

No distinction between male and female rape says Northern Ireland judge as woman is jailed for raping a man
Judge Patrick Lynch KC made the comments in what is believed to be the UK’s first case of a female being convicted of raping a man. The judge imposed a four year sentence on Tanya Lord (41) today after she admitted having sex with the sleeping man.
Ordering Lord to serve two years in jail and two under supervised licence conditions, Judge Lynch said while neither he nor counsel could find any similar case anywhere in the UK, there “seems to be no distinction to be drawn between this and the rape of a female.”
Outlining how the victim, who watched proceedings at Craigavon Crown Court by videolink, has been left mentally scarred and suspicious of people by his ordeal, the judge said “there’s a repeated myth that males are less susceptible” to the consequences of sex attacks.
He revealed that the victim has had to undergo counselling, is still prescribed medication for his mental health, has been left untrusting of people and “feels alone” unless he’s with his kids.
“I would not wish this on anyone,” the victim said in his impact statement, adding that he would “encourage anyone who has been abused to come forward.”
Judge Lynch said if the myth about male victims “needs to be disabused, it can be disabused now by the contents of the victim impact statement I have just read out” and warning that “there’s no distinction between male and female rape - the fact that a male is the victim doesn’t make it any less serious than the rape of a female victim.”
On the day her trial was due to start last December English woman Lord, from Derrylodge Manor in Lurgan, entered a guilty plea that on 23 June 2020, she caused a man “to engage in sexual activity that he did not consent to.”
Opening the facts of the case for the first time, prosecuting lawyer Joseph Murphy outlined how the victim had been drinking all day and met up Lord after she finished work.
They went back to her house, had a few more drinks and some food and then went to bed with each party wearing shorts.
The court heard however that as Lord “is a lesbian and he knew her sexual propensity there was therefore a proper assumption and understandable assumption that there would be no sexual activity and none was forthcoming as regards consent in his part."
Mr Murphy said however that in the early hours of the morning, the victim woke up to find himself being raped. Lord’s DNA profile was later found on swabs taken from the victim.
Addressing specific aspects of the unusual case, Mr Murphy argued the fact that the victim was asleep and vulnerable when he was attacked was an aggravating feature while in mitigation, Lord had admitted her guilt.
“Factually this case involved a woman having sex with a man without his consent and there should be parity between male victims of sexual crime and female victims,” Mr Murphy argued, submitting that to do otherwise would affirm the “myth that men are less affected by sexual assault than women.”
Defence counsel Michael Ward said Lord, who suffers from a personality disorder and has poor mental health, “has expressed remorse for her offending and some victim awareness.”
In addition to the four year sentence, Judge Lynch also imposed a seven year Sexual Offences Prevention Order, warning Lord that if she breached any of the three conditions “that will be a criminal offence” that could carry a jail sentence.
He also ordered Lord to sign the police sex offenders register for the rest of her life.

She was sentenced to 14 weeks’ imprisonment.
A restraining order lasting for 10 years where she can't attend any event where Harry is performing.
She can't contact Harry directly or indirectly.
She can't enter an area of north west London.
She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £134.
Article below
A woman who stalked Harry Styles has been jailed and banned from seeing him perform. Myra Carvalho, 35, who appeared at Harrow Crown Court sitting at Hendon Magistrates’ Court in London, was said to have stalked the singer by sending him 8,000 cards in less than a month. She was sentenced to 14 weeks’ imprisonment after pleading guilty on Tuesday to a charge of stalking involving serious alarm or distress, a court official said. A restraining order lasting for 10 years was also imposed on Carvalho who was also told she cannot attend any event where Harry Styles is performing. Myra, who had been staying at a backpacker hostel in Kensington and Chelsea, south west London, was also ordered not to contact Harry Styles, directly or indirectly. She has been told not to enter an area of north west London which was described in the court, the official added. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £134. Harry was reportedly left 'shaken' by Myra's actions, after she was charged with causing him serious harm or distress. The hitmaker had recently returned from a romantic Caribbean getaway with his actress girlfriend Taylor Russell, 29, when it is claimed he was targeted by the woman in North London. A source said: 'Harry was really shaken up. He had spent the start of the month in Anguilla with Taylor and James Corden and he'd had a great break. 'This happened not long after he had come back. Harry just wants to carry on as normal, but this has been concerning.' A spokesperson for Harry Styles declined to comment when approached back in January. Myra, who has a partner at home in Brazil, had left without her parents' knowledge and expressed 'sexual urges' towards the 30-year-old actor and singer, the court heard back in February at her plea and trial preparation hearing. Her parents both attended the hearing back in February as they wept in court as they saw their daughter appear via videolink from Bronzefield jail in Surrey. Her barrister, Clementine Simon, told the court her client's doctor in Brazil believed she was suffering from a 'manic episode' and questioned if she was fit to enter a plea. Judge Karim Ezzat sent her case to be heard at the same court on April 19 as Carvalho was remanded in custody. Previously, Harry was reportedly left 'shaken' by his alleged stalker who is said to have harassed him. She appeared at Highbury Corner magistrates' court on January 23 where it was heard she 'pursued a course of conduct – namely harassment – which amounted to stalking causing serious alarm or distress'. The Sun said the charge added Carvalho's alleged actions had a 'substantial adverse effect' on Harry's 'usual day-to-day activities'. She was also reportedly told as part of the charge she 'knew, or ought to have known, your course of conduct would cause alarm or distress'. Harry was targeted by stalker Diana Tarazaga-Orero, 29, in 2022. She forced her way into his home three years after being convicted of stalking, which The Sun said forced him to upgrade his security, which included employing a night guard and installing a panic lock on his bedroom door.

WTNV quick rundown - 100 - Toast
I'm not lying when I say this episode contains almost if not every single character we've been introduced to thus far.
More rundowns here!
I know many of you have a few things you’d like to say. So let me start things off. Welcome to Night Vale.
This episode's focus is on Cecil and Carlos' wedding, or at least the after ceremony toast section.
The first person to speak is Leonard Burton, ex radio host, ex Cecil's boss and very confused as to why he's 'suddenly' there and apparently making a toast. He has no idea why he's there, but comments that Cecil looks like he hasn't aged a day since he started to work for Leonard.
The FOW also gives a toast, though she mostly talks about herself. She is covered in blood and is able to drink despite not having a mouth. She is allergic to mice, so recommends that people eat them themselves if they want to keep infestations at bay.
Diane's speech is very quick because Josh has a dance recital and grew several extra legs just for the occasion.
John Peters (you know, the farmer?) comments that he believes the whole world is just a manifestation of his inability to believe that nothing actually exists but congrats anyway.
Deb plugs Ritz Crackers in her toast.
Michelle and Maureen give a speech together. Michelle says she guesses that being happy is popular and isn't that upset that she's also happy and therefore like everyone else. She also says she went to a Katy Perry concert where Katy peeled off her own skin, plucked out her heart and batted it towards her backup dancers. Maureen says she's not angry any more and she once tried to be happy when she was 13 but gave up when she noticed everyone was copying her.
Maggie and Donald Penebaker give an almost normal toast except it's still phone like and ends with reminding everyone to pay their electric bills.
Kevin and Lauren also do a toast together, via videolink. Lauren says she wandered dry-lipped and starving through an endless looping desert until finally coming upon Desert Bluffs Too where it was explained to her that Strex is no longer in charge, Kevin is. Kevin mentions how he's been told that they'll all attack him if he tries to come back to NV and that as welcoming as that sounds he's far too busy. He's also obviously gleeful about Lauren's misfortune and new status under him. They then 'smile' which causes mass panic and a cry to turn the video off.
Melony says she's fixed Computer, who prints out a picture of a gift wrapped box. Earl says he made the cake and was happy to do so. Melony says she has no idea who he is, even though he's sitting next to her and Earl says they've been friends for years and came to the wedding together. Given that Melony forgets Cecil whilst talking to him, it's likely Earl is right.
During Tamika's speech we hear Basimah calling out admiringly. Tamika reads a book passage.
Dana and Pamela make a speech together, with Pamela being her usual self and Dana translating it into a 'congratulations'.
They then 'move' because of the weather: "Second Song" by Joseph Fink.
Old Woman Josie tells us that Cecil wasn't good at bowling when he joined their team, but he was so friendly and entertaining that they let him stay and he soon got better at it. She also reveals that the Hall of Public Records has a list of everyone's death dates.
Steve's toast is more like a tradiational toast. He says he loves Cecil and Carlos both and is very happy for them.
Carlos talks about how he finds it hard to talk about his feelings because they're not logical facts, which he understands better. He mentions how he had throat surgery and that's why he sounds different now but his feelings are the same. He says he's glad he made that call for personal reasons.
Cecil sings Carlos' praises and says that everything is better now Carlos is there. He also says that Carlos' love of science is inspiring and also deeply erotic.
Stay tuned next for a drunk, newly married couple, long after all the well-wishers have left, piling up bags of garbage and stacking chairs in a rented banquet hall because they want to get their deposit back.
And good night, Night Vale, and every person who can hear my voice. Good night.
Proverb: "It's always darkest before the dawn, we are often reassured by people who are totally wrong about how the sun works."

In videolink conference between George Jetson and Bill Spacely of Spacely's Sprockets
BILL SPACELY, trying not to beat the bush: Jetson ... how many times have I dismissed you from employment, only to realise just how important you were to hire you back? GEORGE JETSON, somewhat nonchalantly: I'd have to say the number is rather difficult to count; it seems that it's been quite a lot of times that's happened, Spacely! BILL SPACELY: Anyhow, I just thought I'd ask and see how you were doing at any rate ...

The 🐐 made it to the Music Aid 😅 This was started by someone from the general public, not anyone in the entourage.
And the hosts spoke with its press manager over a videolink. The goat committee assembled today to discuss the issue with birds munching away on it. Via its press manager it said it's in good spirits and in the mood to keep spreading happy Christmas vibes.

In an intriguing legal development, Craig Wright, the Australian computer scientist known for claiming to be the creator of Bitcoin, faces potential contempt of court charges in the UK. This situation stems from a recent $1.2 billion lawsuit he filed against Block, a payments firm founded by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, despite a standing injunction barring him from making further claims regarding his disputed identity as “Satoshi Nakamoto.” Wright’s claim has been contentious from the start. A UK court previously found “overwhelming evidence” that undermined Wright's assertions of authorship concerning Bitcoin’s foundational documentation. This same court accused him of fabricating evidence on an extensive scale, raising questions not only about his credibility but also about the integrity of his legal pursuits. The dismissal of his previous claims by the UK court was significant, signaling a barrier to Wright's persistent legal battles surrounding Bitcoin. Wright had previously been referred to UK prosecutors for possible perjury after the court found substantial evidence against him. Jonathan Hough, representing the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA), contended that Wright’s latest lawsuit against Block blatantly violates the court’s injunction, highlighting the contentious nature of Wright’s handling of his claims. In a recent court appearance conducted via videolink, Wright took a stance of denial, asserting he was not in contempt of court. However, he did concede the possibility of amending his lawsuit, should the court deem it necessary. This response was seen as a strategic move to mitigate the legal repercussions of his filing against Block. With suspicions surrounding Wright’s authenticity as Bitcoin’s creator intensifying, the situation has captured widespread attention. Wright's ongoing legal struggles serve as a cautionary tale within the cryptocurrency realm, highlighting the complexities and contentiousness that can arise when identity claims intersect with substantial financial interests. As the legal landscape continues to evolve, the upcoming hearing in December will play a crucial role in determining whether Wright will indeed face contempt charges. While his lawsuit against Block has been temporarily paused pending legal review, its implications could reverberate through the cryptocurrency community, particularly concerning issues of credibility, authenticity, and the legal frameworks governing digital currencies. The scrutiny surrounding Craig Wright extends beyond his claims as the inventor of Bitcoin; it invites broader discussions about accountability and transparency in an industry often clouded by ambiguity. The legal ramifications of Wright's actions could serve to enforce stricter governance within the cryptocurrency space, potentially safeguarding against future instances of misrepresentation. In the face of these challenges, as the cryptocurrency market continues to mature, stakeholders must navigate not only technological innovations but also the ethical and legal frameworks that govern their operations. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of due diligence, particularly in a landscape where identity, credibility, and financial stakes are intertwined. With a court hearing scheduled to assess the validity of the contempt charges against Wright, industry watchers and stakeholders remain alert to the outcomes of this high-profile legal confrontation. The cryptocurrency community, along with potential investors, must tread cautiously and remain informed as developments unfold in this significant saga.

Afterword preview
So My RV is your RV, is this what you hoped for, for my part the 6 wheeler is take me to your leader stuff, the 2 wheeler is a bit jilted I guess, for people who don't care what others think, at all, but still fun to have, whereas this 4WD is it, it's everything an expedition vehicle can be, and more modestly
It has an extensive stay capacity with those fridges, and water or energy autonomy wise it's there also, huge trunks too, and a rooftop, bottom line you could be gone for months, and still a reasonable size vehicle, if you're a bit of a hunter and a fisherman that is you know your way around living in the outback I would be tempted to say you could be gone for years, this can really be someone's new home
It's equipped with a hydraulic crane for dealing with difficult terrain and there should be hydraulic tools that you can plug into those lines, double heavy duty windshields that three falling becomes less of an issue plus the roof has strong steel rails, heavy duty doors with PIN locks to keep your close ones and belongings safe, satellite internet for keeping in touch and in case of emergencies, it turned out to be everything it could be and it's a lot
The one point where someone could say it's nice but, is having to tank on gas ie the autonomy part is only in theory not in practice, we have skipped on gas, filling water tanks should be feasible anywhere where you have water flowing, differently than stale, no it's it really
I would bet that every modern quality radio does 3 band and GSM, the PDA's that we have seen are not only radios
Because the RV is equipped with 3G antennas videolinks say with a distant camp become possible, in the wilderness, it's movies stuff but incredibly it does that also, whether these are going to be options for those who want them or not is past the point that it's possible
You need 3 antennas to triangulate a GSM signal, I would have a fixed antenna that I set up with as much open space around as possible, and another portable antenna at the camp and that's 3, or why not have 2 vehicles and a portable antenna at the camp, there's possibilities
I still have to look into what's the range of those, I know there's other stuff such as WiMAX, which is directional however
