I had a realization. The white marks on Mammon’s demon form are practically a one to one with his jewelry from his angel form. Are they scars and not tattoos???? I also noticed that with Beel a bit too…

I always kinda imagined those markings as being like... not tattoos but naturally occurring? Like they're part of the demon form, you know? So they're just part of their body already. In which case it could be that their demon form markings naturally mirrored their angelic form's jewelry or design. Like that part of their body changed when their soul changed, a remnant of who they used to be.

Though if they were scars, that would imply that the jewelry actually physically damaged them when they fell, which is also a compelling idea. I mean, can you imagine during your fall from heaven that the angelic jewelry you were wearing started to burn you as you transformed into a demon? And then you carry the scars of that forever on your body??? DEVASTATING.

All the brothers have demon form markings of some kind, though. So it seems to me like they're more likely to be naturally occurring. Unless for some reason Mammon and Beel in particular had some reason for their demonic markings to manifest as scars and so they were the only ones who were burned by their jewelry as they fell. Which would also be a compelling story lol.

I hope that this isn’t too silly, nor something that was asked before, but I am curious if there could’ve been any information – either from the game or supplemental materials – that I could’ve missed, do not know about, and/or have simply forgotten about involving the likelihood of human students being placed in Savannaclaw? Prior to the reveal of Rook originally being in Savannaclaw, I did not actually consider or think about human students getting sorted into that dorm. Thinking about it now, I suppose if human students possess the qualities of a Savannaclaw, it should not be impossible, but outside of Leona, Ruggie, and Jack, a lot of the background Savannaclaw students appear to be beastman—at least as far as I have noticed. I think that is the main reason I never thought about humans being in Savannaclaw until Rook being in that dorm originally planted the seed. I am not going to lie, I was starting to consider Rook not being human for fun, his abnormally good eyesight kind of contributing to the cause, ha ha! Thank you so much!

Theories about Rook aside (👀) there is precedence for non-beast-people students being in Savanaclaw in both the manga and the novel, but what about the game?

The most we might have to go on at the moment is a single line from Deuce back in Book 1: when Grim declares that Chenya must be a Savanaclaw student because of his animal ears Deuce explains, "other dorms have students with animal ears, too."

This tells us that not all beast-people are regulated to Savanaclaw by default, and it seems possible that the same applies in reverse--we just haven't seen any yet, just like how we have not seen any beast-people in other dorms, despite being told they're there!

edit: Thank you so much to @viczen33 for pointing out that there was once a reference to a cat-beast-person member of Heartslabyul! ^^

Rook is, of course, all the proof we need if we are assuming he is human, and he has yet to be proven otherwise as of this post ^^

And maybe there might be a non-animal-eared Savanaclaw sprite one day, or an animal-eared sprite in a non-Savanclaw-uniform! (In the game guide Yana says that Cater was originally a beast-person.)

I have a goal to be consistent with live streaming! Mondays are typically dedicated to Minecraft while Wednesday and Friday are whatever game I’m currently focused on.

Saturday and Sundays are bonus stream days with cozy games, typically Stardew Valley, on Saturday while Sunday is either horror or horror adjacent (come watch a baby cry). Sunday ones, if they happen, will be every other week.

Start time for all streams are around 9-9:30 pm Pacific standard time and will go for about 3-4 hours or until my eyes demand I go to bed.

drawing ?? writing ?? drawing was because my brother and mom were good at it and i wanted to connect with them (and I was jealous too HAHA). Writing was always fun. Recently it's been to create what I want to see, and also just... Self indulgent-ness

The Unwind series still lives rent free in my head. So does The Hunger Games. Not a movie but I have to mention The Good Place because they MESSED ME UP. Please watch it.

MAMMON !!!! That's the love of my life right there. He lives in my mind rent free, I'd spoil him. I love him so much. Tsunderes are my type, but he's loyal and sweet and arghhhwhwhwh. Dumb of ass with a heart of gold. He just means everything to me. I've never loved a character as much as him. Forever a Mammon girlie.

i will start first!

my name is rurumi and i enjoy spending my free time writing!

some of my hobbies (outside of writing) includes: drawing, building gundams and keyboards, and fashion! i got into most of them on a whim and became instantly hooked. aside from self-expression, being into fashion also helps with making friends in college because you always have something to talk about!

a book that left a lasting impression on me would have to be either kafka on the shore by haruki murakami or before the coffee gets cold by toshikazu kawaguchi. both stories have kept me up at night thinking a lot about the 'what ifs' in life.

i enjoy soul/r&b alongside anything of jrock influence, but i will basically listen to anything that sounds good. i am currently listening to 'so what' by lucy!

my favorite character at the moment is rin itoshi from blue lock because hes so ridiculously edgy, but at the same time i sympathize with him a lot. on the other hand, my favorite character of all time is suletta mecury from the witch from mercury series, she's an absolute ball of sunshine that i aspire to be.
