The Cure Who Bears the Name Victory|Closed with precurelegends
The wailing mandrake makes the nearby Zyuman girl cover her ears, but she powers through it. Anything that requires that kind of screaming to stop it must be a bad thing.
“Instincts, Awaken!” Her human guise falls, revealing her lupine form. While it may be somewhat comical to see a silver haired wolf in a schoolgirl outfit, she’s completely serious as she dashes into the midst of those creatures and starts slashing away with her claws.
Amelda sets Sprout’s pot down before striking one of the creatures with a psychic blast. Her Victorium necklace bounced against each movement the single bit of the precious mineral carved into a sheaf of indigo flowers. “Careful, they’re nothing more than toxins and malice given solid form. Sprout are you doing okay?” she asked. She was tempted to just slot her Gem Heart into the bracelet she wore and finish the fight quickly “Just peachy, Ame-chan!” the plant-being replied. “Win with your talents and strength.” he cheered before ducking back into the dirt seeing the wolf girl charge at the enemies around them. “Better make myself scarce!”

“What were those… things?” She rose a pierced brow, glancing around to make sure there weren’t any left.
“They came out of nowhere, and they’re definitely not any monster I’ve fought before.” Then again, she’d only ever fought Mujona, and they weren’t that tough.
“Slag Beasts, depending on what’s used to bring them to life they will be either easy or difficult to beat. Wind and Earth Slag Beasts are the worst.” she explains as she held out a green seed-like gemstone. “As swift as the wind or as sturdy as a rock, Emerald and Topaz Gem Seeds make for very annoying Slag Beasts.” she comments

//Amelda was originally never meant to have a surname. A lack of a surname denoted her otherness compared to the rest of the Radiant Gem PreCure given she was a foreigner from a different world all together until they just gave her one derived from the scientific name of her patron plant the Indigofera tinctoria. Her first name Amelda is a variation of the name Imelda which means ‘universal battle’ denoting her status as a member of a warrior caste and her desire to be a protector

“Then let me get a bottle of water and I’ll be happy to join you.” She bows to Larri. “I’ll see you at your next lecture, Larri! What’s the topic going to be?”
“My topic will be ‘Zyumans and Sumo Wrestling.’ I’m sure you will enjoy it.” Larri answers.
“So long as it’s not a ‘fully immersive’ lecture.” Hana laughs as she fills up her water bottle from the spring near the Link Cube. “All right, I’m ready!”
“Let me introduce you to the current King of the Victorians first.” There was a path she took that lead to what seemed to be a dead end. Lifting her pendant up she spoke. “Your Highness forgive me for the sudden intrusion, it’s been awhile since I last reported back I know but I do have a guest and...”
“Amelda, you don’t need to worry. I understand that your duties have kept you busy.”
She nods nervously as she approached a rocky outcropping tangled in roots of an ancient tree. Unrefined Victorium was seen glittering within the rocks by and in the outcropping. When her pendant was held up a holographic projection appeared before them. “There’s no need to be nervous.”

“I will gladly put my intentions into writing, senorita.” Larri says as he pats Hana on the head. “Hana, I know you have issues with caves, but this could be the chance of a lifetime for you. To see something new.” He points to the Victorium stone.”
Hana rubs the back of her head and looks to Amelda. “She did offer to show it to me. And it would be awful to pass up that chance.” She takes in a deep breath. “Amelda, I’d like to go with you to see your home. Just understand, I might be holding on tightly to you through the whole trip.”
“Thankfully the way isn’t through a cave. There are crystals that transport us to and from the surface.” She reassured Hana to the best of her abilities.”You’ll be fine, I promise.” she adds firmly. Amelda was a girl of few words but she was trying her best. She gives her a small nod.

“There’s a lot that the people of this world take for granted that my own world doesn’t have. We don’t have exploration missions to those stars, or to the depth of our oceans. And the only reason given is ‘It’s always been that way.’“ Hana leads her new friend to the middle of the woods, where the ancient stone cube levitates.
As they approach, the cube shines and a grey-haired gorilla in rastafarian clothing emerges.
“Oh, hello, Hana! I trust your day is going well, si?” He smiles and ruffles her hair.
“Yes, Larri! Oh, this is my new friend, Amelda. She comes from an underground kingdom!”
The gorilla’s eyes widen. “Truly? To think that there is an entire world beneath the one we walk upon here on earth.” He offers Amelda a business card. “I am a scientist, and I would love the chance to learn more about your kingdom, senorita!”
“Good day sir.” She bows politely. “So, if you want to learn more about Victoria and the people that call it home I’ll be happy to oblige.” she replied. “Although you should take the time to explain your intentions, the king of my people is wary after what had happened with the surface dwellers previously.” Using the Victorium as a weapon it was still a disgusting thing that was done.
“The stone I wear around my neck is a part of a whole. Victorium is what gives my home its light, my people their powers and it is the life essence of our world as a whole. To say we have a reverence and respect for the shining stones is an understatement.” With that she holds out her necklace for Larri to see. On one side the smooth amulet bore a carving of sheaf of indigo and the other the emblem of the Victorians.

Hana buys the cookies, offering a few to Amelda and taking two for herself. “I appreciate the offer. However, when I was much younger, I got lost underground for half a day and I’m still a bit scared of caves and caverns as a result.”
She took three and carefully nibbled on it. “I understand, and I will only take you there if you feel comfortable journeying there with me.” she replied with a smile. “Honestly the surface dwellers take for granted what we, the Victorians, don’t have. The starry skies, the warmth of the sun, the little things really feel unappreciated by those who are used to it.” And there she was speaking profoundly again.

“Well, after the cookies, how about I show you the Link Cube? It’s a powerful artifact that serves as a point of connection between my world and Earth.” Hana offers.
“Maybe I can take you to my homeland, there’s a vast world under your feet and it’s only recently my people are venturing out. I feel like it’s only fair given you’re showing me an important relic to yours.” she said. “Maybe we can glimpse the King and Shepherdon.” She always had a childish admiration towards her namesake Ultraman Victory and to see him always made her break her stoic nature.

“No, you don’t owe me anything. It’s what Pretty Cures do after all.” Hana grins. “I know this wonderful place not too far from here that makes these great lemon butter cookies. Does that sound good to you?”
“Anything other than V Choco Wafers, they’re nice and all but the taste is too strong sometimes.” she joked. She was carrying Sprout around like always. “I gladly appreciate it all the same.” To make friends was a great thing and she was happy to have left to the surface world. “Where else can we go?”

She looks around, seeing nobody and cancels her transformation. A glowing translucent cube spins around her head, returning her to a human appearance. “Are you hungry? I know a great place to get some dessert around here.”
Amelda soon followed after, her dress reverting to it normal tones. Her “I am unfortunately my people barter for goods and services so I don’t have money to buy things.” she sighed. “I’m still not used to being out on the surface.” A sheepish chuckle escapes her as well. “I feel like I do owe you for helping me.”

She sprinkles the tea leaves onto Sprout and smiles to Amelda. “This is my first time encountering these creatures. Am I right in assuming that there’s more of them waiting to break through here?”
“Yeah. They’re called Slag Beasts. A Slag Beast is born of a poisoned mud infused with a form of malice, the thing that brings them together is a Gem Seed. Gem Seeds are from the Elemental Courts, Sprout’s and Lady Idra’s domain.” she explained. She then picks up Sprout and sighs. “It’s always when someone takes Sprout with them this happens.” she finds it funny and annoying.

Cure Nebula looks over at Sprout while Cure Victory works and reaches into her pouch, taking out a sample of Wild Tea from her homeworld. “Would you care for some tea leaves and spices in the meantime, Sprout? Wild Tea helps plants grow really strong in my world.”
“Whoa, really? Thank you.” the mandrake said as he kicked his ‘feet about’. Sprout was a sapling by the looks of things. “Ame-chan you got them all?” he asked as he turned to Cure Victory. “Three Sapphire Seeds, two Emerald Seeds and five Topaz Seeds. Yes it seems like it.” she comments. She stores them in a pouch who’s tassels look like indigo sheaves. “The mud has been cleared as well.”

Cure Nebula alters the gravity under the feet of two creatures, making them levitate a few feet off the ground, before slamming them together into their components. There’s not many left so she creates a gravity barrier behind the remaining ones to set up Cure Victory to finish them off.
“Victorium Arrow Wave!” The Victory Heart Gem glowed as she called down bolts of blue energy on them as they were tangled in her ribbons. The bolts seemed to be commanded by the Victorian with very little effort. Again all that was left was mud and a set of cloudy gems where they stood. Cure Victory bows as a sign of thanks to her ally. “Let me introduce myself a little later, time to collect and purify these Gem Seeds.”
“Mom’s gonna appreciate you guys gathering those Gem Seeds up, the Toxsin forces are making her sick and our home is suffering for it.” Sprout said as he uprooted himself from the pot. One can assume he was a plant-like fairy although part of his body was covered in an iridescent crystal. “Like Ame-chan said we can introduce ourselves later! And she owes me a crystal apple for pulling my stem harshly ouch!” He said rubbing his head from where a thin stem and leaf were growing out of it.

Hana dodges the attack of the monster nearest her, and takes a rocket shaped charm off her bracelet. “Toxins and malice given form? Then I’ve got just the thing. Pretty Cure, Blast Off!”
In a swirl of lights, her Amanogawa uniform is replaced by a blue and red dress with a cloud of stardust on each shoulder.
“The Shining Stellar Nursery, Cure Nebula!” She holds out her hands, and the nearest monster is crushed in a gravity well.
“My turn then! Pretty Cure, Shine Bright!” The earthen tones of her traditional dress was replaced with a deep azure hue when she slotted a heart shaped cabochon gemstone not unlike the victorium worn around her neck into a silver bracelet with a flurry of indigo flower petals, black and red ribbons were wound at her ankles and arms, and that psychic power was stronger still.
“The Psychic Guardian, Cure Victory!” Amelda using her psychic shockwave technique sent another one of her opponents flying with a harsh enough impact to turn it into its base component of poisoned mud and a cloudy gem. “Honestly it was my turn to entertain Sprout as per his mother’s request but this was not what I’d expected.”

The Cure in front of her was red, and appeared to wear the symbol of the Smile cures but… The uniform was different. More Marching band esque, and a heart shaped lock hanging from a belt, as well as a red key.
“Thanks for the help.” She scoffed. “‘Name’s Cure Love, of Forever Smiling Pretty Cure.”
“Cure Victory. I’m a member of the Radiant Gem Pretty Cure, nice to meet you.” She replied as she bows. She takes off her necklace before twirling it around a finger and striking against the wall clearing the minds of anyone affected by the Slag Beasts. She scrunches up her nose as she frowns. “They are not holding back any punches are they?” she asked.
