Perfume Prompts (Valentine's Day)
Hello everybody!
For February, I'd try something interesting, and do perfume prompts based on their ingredients and some of the descriptions found online. I'm interested in fragrances and how they influence a person, and there are some of mine as well as a few I'd like to try out.
As always, if you tag me with betweenthetimeandsound, I will find your works and reblog them!
Good luck!
Breathless by Victoria's Secret (neroli, mandarin orange, sandalwood) My first perfume, by the way.
Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf (peony, rose, freesia) "The explosion of thousands of flowers gives rise to an ultra-feminine, delicious fragrance. Sublime, delicious and addictive."
Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone (pomegranate, Casablanca lily, Guaiacwood) "Daring sensuality, encapsulated in scent."
Idole by Lancome (citrus, rose, jasmine, and white musk)
Tainted Love by Tokyomilk Dark (dark vanilla bean, orchid, white tea, sandalwood) "Not for the faint of heart, a fragrance sparked by the complexities of love..."
Lipstick Rose by  Ralf Schwieger (Raspberry, Violet, Rose, Musk, Vanilla) "A star’s moment of privacy at her dressing table with her lipstick, which she spreads carefully onto her lower lip..."
Rose of No Man's Land by Byredo (pink pepper, Turkish rose, amber)
Philosykos by Diptyque (fig) "The memory of a Greek summer at Mount Pelion where, to get to the sea, there was a natural grove of wild sun-soaked fig trees to cross."
Love, don't be shy by Killian (Neroli, Orange Blossom, Marshmallow) "First love’s innocence makes itself known..."

How to wear this year’s festival fashion trends
Tumblr media
From cowboy-core to flower power, it’s a chance to shake up your fashion this festival season. With the summer sunshine well and truly here, it is only a matter before the festival season rolls around. “Festival fashion dominates the style pages each year,” says shoe expert Paul Donnelly, so whether you’re off to Boomtown or Boardmasters, there’s no better time than a festival to play around with your wardrobe. Whether experimenting with accessories or mustering up the courage to wear something a little outrageous for a change, festival fashion is this perfect time to shake things up. And here’s how… Frills and ruffles View this post on Instagram A post shared by Nasty Gal (@nastygal) With part two of Bridgerton season three coming out this month, it’s natural that frills and ruffles are on trend. So make your outfit a little bit fancy this season and add a feminine touch. Wear it with a dress, frilly collar, or floaty skirt—there are many ways to try this style. Don’t know where to start? “Search for tops or dresses with ruffled sleeves or hemlines, as well as skirts with tiered layers for a dramatic effect, ” says Bonnie Zhao, head of user product and business at AliExpress UK. “Pair these pieces with simple accessories to let the frills take centre stage.” Tuckernuck Pink Ruffel Dress Chunky boots View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kirby Johnson (@kirby_j) Chunky boots have always been in. From Lara Croft to Black Widow, badass women in action movies have been rocking them since dawn. And there’s a reason for it. Not only do they look good, but they’re also practical. The truth about festivals is that they’re often quite gross. Be it mud, using the dreaded portaloos, or jumping around in a mosh pit, it helps to have a sturdy pair of boots to hand. Celebs are getting wise to the trend, too. “The category is: comfort,” model Hailey Bieber wrote on her Instagram story, sharing a mirror selfie of her outfit for Coachella this year, which featured a pair of chunky ankle boots. “Chunky boots are a popular choice for festival-goers for their practicality and style points,” says Donnelly, working with Heavenly Feet. “They are an essential addition to any festival outfit, you can opt for classic black boots or experiment with metallics, which are a huge trend this season.” Black Leather Boot- Dolce Vita Sheer fashion View this post on Instagram A post shared by Tobi 🧚🏽‍♀️ (@tobi_ojora) Dare to bare! From Emily Ratajkowski’s revealing see-through ensemble to actor Phoebe Dynevor’s custom Victoria Beckham gown, sheer was everywhere at the Met Gala this year. But it’s a fashion statement that can not only be pulled off on the red carpet. The perfect addition to your festival wardrobe, “Whether you go for a classic mesh top with your favorite brightly colored bikini top underneath or an ultra-cool transparent maxi skirt to dance the night away in, the secret to nailing this look is in the accessorizing,” says fashion and jewelry expert, Ben Roberts, managing director of Clogau. Cowboy-core View this post on Instagram A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce) Giddy up festival goers because cowboy-core is the most significant trend this season. Maybe it was Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling’s Barbie and Ken in matching western outfits that did it, but the cowboy-inspired trend has been everywhere lately, and festival season is the perfect time to hop on this rodeo. “The cowboy trend has been gaining momentum for a number of years, and with Beyonce’s iconic Cowboy Carter, it’s not going to slow down anytime soon,” says Zhao. “This year it’s going to be bigger than ever, as not only are stars buying into the trends, but its versatility means anyone can get involved.” The good news is that you only need a cowboy hat, a fringed jacket, or a necktie to nail this festival trend. Yeehaw! Metallic Cowboy Boots - Jeffrey Campbell Boho chic View this post on Instagram A post shared by Florence Welch (@florence) I thought Boho was out. Think again. The Sixties trend is back and bigger than ever this year for festival season. The floaty and loose style is the perfect way to stay calm and prevent sunburn while catching your favorite bands. “Channelling your inner Vanessa Hudgens at Coachella or Florence Welch is a timeless festival trend, and definitely one we expect to see make a return this festival season,” says Roberts. “If you want to look your best for the ‘summer of love’, I’d recommend picking up anything with fringe detailing, crochet panelling or made from a floaty and gauzy material like linen.” Tie-dye revival View this post on Instagram A post shared by Nasty Gal (@nastygal) In the wave of nostalgia for the Noughties, tie-dye is also returning this summer. The perfect festival fashion statement is back, and best of all, you can do it at home for free. Grab some old white clothes, a bag of dye, and some rubber bands, and get creative. “Its colourful and psychedelic patterns evoke a sense of nostalgia while offering a fun and vibrant look that’s perfect for music festivals,” says Zhao. “Pair with denim or neutral pieces to balance out the boldness of the tie-dye patterns.” Read the full article

How you can watch Aussie sensation Love Me
Brace yourself for some serious family drama this Boxing Day. Gone are the days when the only things you’d find on the box over summer were sports and re-runs, because the hotly anticipated new Aussie series, Love Me, is premiering December 26 on BINGE. The series is BINGE’s first original production, and all six episodes will land on the streaming platform on the same day. It was filmed in Melbourne at the height of the pandemic earlier this year – and today we can share these first look images of the high-profile cast in character. Love Me is based on the acclaimed Swedish series Alska Mig and stars Hugo Weaving, Bojana Novakovic and William Lodder (Wakefield) as three generations of the same family, who each find themselves navigating love, loss and relationships at very different stages of their lives. Weaving – who has won legions of fans for his roles in the Matrix trilogy, V for Vendetta and Lord of the Rings – said: “Love Me is a wonderful celebration of family, love, and personal liberation set in contemporary Melbourne. “I hugely enjoyed playing the dutiful, recessive Glen Mathieson, father to Clara and Aaron, as he finds himself navigating a course through grief into the excitement of an unexpected and transformative love. Working with Director Emma Freeman (Stateless, Secret City, Glitch) was an absolute delight.” The project also brought AFI-winning actress Novakovic home to Australia from America, where she has been forging a successful career on television and in film. Most recently Novakovic has worked alongside fellow Aussie Margot Robbie in the Oscar winning I, Tonya and the Suicide Squad spin-off, Birds of Prey. “It was an absolute joy to work on this new Australian drama with an incredible Australian crew,” Novakovic said. “It reminded me of how special our teams are at home, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience this beautiful story.” BINGE executive director Alison Hurbert-Burns said: “What a privilege to shoot BINGE’s first original production with such a talented ensemble of cast and crew in Victoria. “Love Me showcases contemporary Melbourne at its very best; from the inner city and surrounding suburbs, all the way down to the Bellarine Peninsula – it’s the perfect backdrop for this beautifully scripted drama. “The incredibly talented cast and creative teams have done an amazing job of bringing this story to life, and in time for Australians to enjoy this summer and over the Christmas holiday period. “Love Me is compelling storytelling. It will make you laugh and cry as you follow the authentic journey of love and self-discovery in a beautifully crafted story.” Love Me also features Heather Mitchell (the Unusual Suspects), Sarah Peirse (Heavenly Creatures, The Hobbit), Bob Morley (Home And Away, The 100) and Celia Pacquola (Rosehaven) in supporting roles.

My body spray recommendations
Body sprays are a great cheap alternative for perfumes here are some my personal favorites :)
♡ Wicked dreamer Victoria’s Secret notes of lychee glow and satin musk smells sweet but not in an overly childish way
♡ Dream Angels Heavenly Victoria’s secret this has a perfume, body oil,and lotion great for layering! notes of quince cardamom ivy and mandarin. It smells mature and sexy which is nice for winter
♡ At the Beach Bath and Body Works this is a great summer fragrance available in a body wash, lotion, and spray. This smells just like summer and is not an overpowering scent at all
♡ Kenneth Cole White is a spray you can always find at TJmaxx or any stores similar it is also available in a perfume! Of course since it’s a body spray it is not very long lasting but has a mature scent

If you are looking to stay closer to home, Mayfield Lavender Farm is a stunning place to visit in the summer time – you only have to look at the photograph to know the aroma will be heavenly! Perfect for an afternoon visit with a cup or tea, or perhaps a special birthday present for a friend.
Mayfield Lavender Farm
“Our 25 acre lavender farm with café and shop is located in Banstead (Woodmansterne), Surrey – approximately 15 miles from Central London. Our farm is a popular visitor attraction throughout summer where you can wander through a sea of beautiful organic lavender.  The lavender normally starts to bloom towards the middle to end of June and the peak time is July and August however the weather can influence this so be sure to check our website for information”
“At our farm you can enjoy a delicious, fresh lunch or snack at our relaxed, al fresco café with picnic tables.  Whether you fancy a panini, burger or a piece of our gorgeous home-made cake, we have it covered and much more besides!  You can also book a lavender cream tea for an extra special touch or enjoy food from the barbecue during July and August.  We are licensed to sell a range of alcoholic drinks including our unique lavender cider!  Before you leave, don’t forget to visit our shop to buy one of our lavender plants for your garden, or simply treat yourself to our lavender products including toiletries, culinary treats or a beautiful bunch of fresh lavender.”
Looking for something more urban! Look no further than Box Park… the food at Box Park is truly outstanding – and only a hop, skip and a jump away from Whyteleafe – the Move Revolution team love the food from Bao Bao – it comes highly recommended.  Box Park isn’t just for food lovers (although we are pretty sure you will be unable to resist the gorgeous food on offer when you visit) it hosts a wide spectrum of amazing events and activities.  The Move Revolution team love Fight Klub… if you want to find out more and get a first hand recommendation just call Sam Webb (our Land & New Homes Manager) or Louise Simpson (Area Sales Manager for Whyleafe) who love this event!
Box Park Croydon
“Boxpark is the world’s first pop-up mall – fusing the concepts of the modern street food market and placing local and global brands side by side, to create a unique shopping and dining destination. Opened in 2011, Boxpark established itself in the heart of London’s Shoreditch to demonstrate that it was entirely possible to bring dining and fashion back to the street and provide fertile ground for independent and established retailers to reach a large audience in a big and eye-catching way. Entirely constructed out of refitted shipping containers, Boxpark utilises a unique position in being able to offer affordable and flexible conditions for lifestyle brands, cafes, restaurants and galleries to trade and succeed. It’s a retail revolution that’s spawned many imitators but no equals. Until now.”
Everyman Cinema, Oxted
Looking for a cinema experience ..… longing for a really comfortable cinema chair, brilliant food and a chilled glass of wine – look no further than Everyman Cinema Oxted.  Just a short drive from Whyteleafe, or hop on the train to Oxted (9 minutes from Upper Warlingham).  Nici Jordan (Our Marketing Director) is a regular visitor with her family – “It makes going to the cinema extra special – we love the comfortable sofas at Oxted cinema – it’s a perfect night out”
Perhaps you are looking for stunning views at the same time as enjoying a game of golf… look no further than Woldingham Golf Club.
Woldingham Golf Club
“Nestled in the serenity of the Halliloo Valley just north of Woldingham, in the heart of the Surrey North Downs, Woldingham Golf Club’s excellent course and facilities have become a popular destination for both golfers and events planners. Designed by American course architect Bradford Benz, the beautiful, rolling course makes the most of the contours of the valley in which it sits and suggests a relaxed game many have yet to experience! A par 71 course in excess of 6,000 yards long from the yellow tees, the course is built on a chalk base, excellent for drainage which, together with the USGA specification greens, allows year round play. Golfers will decide for themselves their favourite holes, but for sheer beauty, the 4th and 7th at the far end of the course, in the bowl of the valley, will take some beating. Surrounded by the course, the Club’s stately neo-classical style clubhouse offers spectacular views across the course and the valley beyond – the view from the first floor event suite, with it’s large ornate stone balcony, truly makes the most of this.”
Or perhaps you enjoy the idea of being pampered! When looking to purchase a new home it’s always important to know if there is a brilliant barber / wonderful hairdresser in the local area.
Time Hair & Beauty
We recommend Time Hair and Beauty in Caterham.  Achieving amazing reviews (and the hairdresser of choice for many of the Move Revolution team) – chat with the team if you would like to find out more!
Perhaps you are craving a country walk to a wonderful pub… The Botley Farm comes highly recommended by the Move Revolution team…
The Botley Hill Farm
This gorgeous pub is situated on the Titsey Estate, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The Farmhouse  is known for breathtaking views as it is at the highest point of the North Downs. There are great walks on the Titsey Estate with a historic house and gardens also St Agatha’s Church in Woldingham with a 750-year-old yew tree. There is a circular walk starting and finishing at Botley Hill Farmhouse.
