34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?)

// Jade is an incredibly private person and doesn’t really share much with people. There is a few exceptions to this case but she’s got a lot of demons to hide, as well as her work in the underground and it comes down to it’s easier to keep people distant if they don’t know much about you.

“I was never one for being particularly sociable,” a light chuckle, a grin tugging at Cadette’s lips.  “While I enjoyed helping my parents when I was able, I was always more eager to spend time on my own, be it with a book in hand, or wandering the fields around the Stead.”

She nodded, satisfied she’d answered well.  “So I guess you could say I was more of an outcast, but that I was so by choice rather than chance.”

He does. Which is why he tries so hard to be a better person now, to atone for the few terrible things he’s done in the past and to prevent any future bad luck from happening. However, he’s a living person who makes mistakes, and has done a few terrible things recently, and he’s already feeling the backlash.

“ tell me your most awkward date story ?”

“Oh gods,” Serella groaned into her hands. Her mug of mead sloshed as she set her elbows on the table and actively hid her heavily flushed face. “I— listen—”

“Look, she won’t tell you her most embarrassing one.” Uthengentle said, snickering into his ale as he took a long dreg of it. “So I will.”

“Please, no.” Serella moaned miserably. “I was just goin’ to tell her ‘bout the one in Ul’Dah—”

“That one wasn’t even close.” Uthengentle roared in laughter. “Not even kind of.” He turned to face Vianne, pointing with the hand holding his mug. “So we’re going to this fancy ball in Ishgard, right—”

Serella groaned as she set her hands back on her mug. 

“Look, I might as well be the one to tell it.” She said, sighing deeply. “So I get asked to accompany…someone of fairly large import.” Her already red cheeks took on a shade mimicking a rolanberry. “We had been friends for long enough that I thought nothing of it—”

“He gave her a custom hairpin to wear to the thing.” Uthengentle added, his grin haughty. “While they stood on top of the Holy See and he asked her to the ball.”

“I thought he gave it as a friend!” Serella threw her hands up, nearly knocking over her mead in the process. “So we’re dancing, and everything’s great but there’s a lot of fucking people. Like,” she waved her hand. “a lot. So I excuse myself for some air.”

“On a balcony!” Uthengentle cut in excitedly, slamming his hands on the table. “Like a godsdamned romance novel!”

“Yes, thank you, Uthen.” Even drunk, she shot her brother a withering glare. “Anyway. So he comes to check on me. Brings me his cloak because he’s worried I’ll catch cold.” She brings her mead closer, as if it will shield her from her brother’s jokes. “Then we start talking. Suddenly he’s saying things like, ‘I need you to know how greatly I care for you,’ and suddenly I went and blurted out—”

“Oh do you mean romantically, my lord?” Uthengentle mocked in a high pitched voice. 

“Gods, that would have been better.” Serella groaned. “I asked him, ‘wait, wait, are you just expressing friendship? I don’t understand, my lord.’” Though she did not bury her face in her hands, she certainly looked like she wanted to. “Then leaned in a little. Asked if he could show me. So what do I say?” She winced. “’As friends? I’m unclear.’”

“Thal’s Balls, that’s so much better!!!” Uthengentle cackled.

“Truly, I don’t know how he’s still with me.” Serella sighed deeply into her mead.

How would you describe your muse to someone about to meet them, in person, for the first time?

for ash, i’d probably say something like “you’re gonna get swept up in the glitz and glamor, and you’re gonna think she has your back, but she 100% does not and will throw you under the bus the second it benefits her”

“May I have this dance?”

Ears fluttered as the words greeted her, turning her head to look over her shoulder to just who had offered a dance. 

The Keeper arched a brow while she nursed a drink in hand, though gave the proposal thought, and slowly set the glass down and rising to her feet. “A dance, mm? I’ll admit.. I hadn’t expected to be offered one - rather expected to amuse myself with people-watching and the like..” She murmured, taking Vianne’s with a sense of elegance. Patrons had already had their eyes on the tiny miqo, for one reason or another; But seeing as she accepted the offer and the paring slowly moving to the floor, those eyes greeted her with more of an observation, than weary looks. 

She brought herself in close, starting off the slow waltz with her current companion, though the differences in heights surely made it a bit more of a struggle than it otherwise would be - however, Vale was quite used to most people towering over her, considering her height. She rocked to and fro, hips swaying with each movement of precision. The Keeper decided to have a little fun, twirling herself outward, and arching herself backwards until she nearly was against the floor, only to raise herself back up and continue on with that slow dance that had been in rhythm. “Remind me to buy you a drink, dear.” She mused as the two finished.

21. Show/Movie that would make a good game?

//Sorry for the late response!That said.. I don’t really watch too many movies or shows which makes this question in particular kind of difficult not to mention a few decent shows ALREADY have had games made about them.

But, I’ve dream and wanted it before but I feel like a game set in the Harry Potter universe would be awesome and before you go. “Wait Aren, we already have that.” I mean a game where you create your own student, pick your own house, and delve through the game would be pretty awesome. If anything, maybe make it a MMO and I feel like it would be a pretty fun experience if done correctly. I’d like it to be less about grinding and simply about the environment instead of any real major end goal. Maybe have it so that it’s imperative to take classes to learn things and doing certain things would yield benefits.. It would be a difficult dream to make for sure and would take YEARS of proper planning.

Ashe stared at the Elezen, a slow flush raising up and into her cheeks. Her eyes dart around, which confirms she is, in fact, the only one that could be being spoken to. A hand rakes through her short, wavy hair, which moves out of her eyes for just a slight moment.

“Pray forgive me,” she finally manages to answer. “But I never learned to dance, at least, not with someone else…and not very well…”

She tries to give a smile, however it is small and shy, and she ends up biting her lower lip.

“Actually… presently I am unemployed. I subsist of mine family’s wealth from the leather-working trade, and from mine friend’s purse mostly. Otherwise, what spare gil I have is oft given to doctors and alchemists alike… in hopes of finding whatever I might need to cure mine ailment.”

“There are a lot of hobbies that require little to no gil. Like walking. And bread can be quite delicious once you’ve had enough of it!”
