The Vi hate in season one always drove me absolutely crazy mostly because I don't think people were really taking into account the gravity of the situations she faced. For example during the bridge scene in season one when Jinx killed Marcus I saw so many takes that were somewhere along the lines of "oh she chose to help Cait instead of her sister" or "Vi really should have said something to make Jinx feel better" and I'm just like dawg. Jinx just BLEW UP A FUCKING BRIDGE. She just killed SEVERAL people. Ya'll were acting like they just met up on a college campus and Vi stood her up for lunch or something. I wish the series got into her alcohol abuse and trauma more because holy shit. Just because she doesn't show her PTSD like other characters doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Not everyone reacts to trauma the same way. If I needed several drinks just WATCHING all the shit that happened to her imagine just for a moment experiencing it.
