I'm in a car with someone when a bunch of people stop us and tell us they have problems with cats, they have too many cats, so we take twenty. I'm a forty-year-old Japanese guy who's giving a lecture on how to make phonecalls. I'm a sarcastic professor tired of life, and my students like me. And I have to go because I can't be late for a vet appointment with my twenty cats (my wife would kill me). I enter the veterynary clinic and here they are - my cats, waiting to be vaccinated. But first the vet has to take care of the dragon that's also waiting in a queue. There are other creatures: werewolfs, bats and fauns. I wait but I also make friends with different creatures, one of them is a little leprechaun that works as a knight. He doesn't like his job. Unfortunately, some idiot of a skeleton wants to fight me because I supposedly robbed him of the chance to marry the love of his life. I don't know what he's talking about. I beg the knight to lend me his sword to scare the skeleton away but he's reluctant to give me two gemstones that, when put into the sword, will boost my strengh. All in all he agrees and I'm about to fight the ridiculous bony man when... Tony Stark stops me! He needs the gemstones. I say the sword is borrowed and he needs to talk to the knight. A bit to the right Vision stands leaned against the wall. I look him in the eye and ask: "And who... the fuck are you?"

I had the weirdest dream...

My goodness, I just can’t imagine one of my friends as a vet to have a client bring in a cat or dog that might be pregnant to ask for a spay or a pill to terminate the pregnancy

She almost had a breakdown in surgery yesterday when a doctor assisting our friends in a spay thought the cat might be pregnant after examining the uterus (which turned out to be just mucometra, probably caused by interrupting the oestrus cycle with an MPA pill 4 days earlier)

It’s the same friend who told me a couple of years ago that spaying dogs is barbaric, cause of course they all want to experience the joys of motherhood...

Johnathan growled lightly under his breath but didn't have much strenght. He was looked up at the person with somewhat scared expersion. Could a wolf look so inteligent and emotional?

He whined when he was lifted up. The people from veterynary took care of him very fast. He should be back to normal in a week. "Do you want to take him or should I call a shelter?" A nurse asked.

Jonathan was wondering around in his wolf form. He was was looking for something to eat and, if found, a place to sleep. He was running past some forest and as he heard some crack he turned around to see what it was.

Soon something catched his hind leg and pulled it, making him whimper. He then began feeling a lot of things on himself. He was hit and kicked. There was no way for him to escape.

It was nearly an hour later as he was left alone, bleeding and nearly passed out, without energy. He swallowed and closed his eyes. Well... He didn't expect his death to look like this.

hi!! I don't know if this will make sense (sorry!) but do you think it's better if your undergraduate school & vet school are the same, or do you think it's better/doesn't really matter if they're different? I'm asking to help me look at unis. Thank you!!

I’m sorry, I have no idea what school application looks like in other countries! In Poland, all you have to do to get into vet school is take advanced matura exam (matura is an exam every student is needs to take at the end on high school. You choose which subjects and on which level you want to take in order to get to the school of your choice) in biology and chemistry and you just send an application form you can find on this special website. We don’t have any interviews, we don’t write any letters of application, nothing. So I guess it’s easier for us. But of course, there’s a point limit you have to meet to get in.

We don’t have to get a bachelor’s degree to get into vet school here, we apply straight out of high school. Of course, you can go to undergrad school before going to vet school, but you still need to have enough points from matura to get in, they don’t really care what you were doing before that.

Though, I'd imagine that if you did your undergrad in something vet-related or connected with animal studies in any way, it would be much easier for you in vet school later. You would surely learn anatomy, probably some histology and physiology, maybe nutrition, and that’s already a lot!
