Who is this? Who IS this??

Who the Hell is Thorn?

The short answer is that Thorn is the OC Captain of the Guard for my OC, Keir Knox. 

Okay. I admit it. I’ve been thinking a LOT about Knox’s backstory. He’s a fully fleshed out character even though he’s only shown up in a single chapter of the TTWBAD prequel.

If I could ever get my act together, I’d love to write a multi chapter fic alongside TTWBAD set in the Faerie realm. That’s how much thinking I’ve done on these characters. And when I say “These characters” consider it a warning that you have 2 more mysterious OC’s coming your way this month, and two more who are remaining secret only because they don’t fit the masc theme.

Is it a ‘good’ idea to include OCs in this collection, especially ones that people haven’t even been introduced to? 

Maybe, maybe not. You’re allowed to not be into it. But I think up characters all the time and sometimes I fall in love with them and make them everyone else's problem. And I’m not gonna stop.

So here is Thorn. I’m not thrilled with this being the 1st image of him I’m sharing because it doesn’t really capture his energy and the perspective is twitchy to my brain. This is the 1st time I tried drawing a VERYMUSCLED DUDE. Thorn is STRONK! Thorn is TOUGH. Thorn is a little PERVERSE. Thorn is a big reason why Knox has been in power for so long.

 Here is the costume the bard found for him. Thorn loves it.  He broke that silly plastic sword in two minutes so he brought his own. 

He’s about to get incredibly drunk. He’s confident enough he’ll still be able to protect his King. Thorn’s got a lot of tricks up his sleeves and doesn’t shy away from incredible acts of violence when necessary. 

The Ineffable Foursome don’t know Thorn very well, but even with their one shared braincell I think they know enough not to mess with this walking wall of booze and muscle.

His belly laugh can shake tables!
