oh my GOD while we’re all dredging up old ssss trauma i just remembered that The Page With The Slur went up literally a month after i read ssss for the first time. i just went looking thru the archive to find it bc i was like “wait it can’t possibly have been as bad as i’m remembering right?? especially since she backed down and edited it out??”

i uh. i was wrong. it was in fact that bad

#for the record. i was also wrong in 2015. i’ve since deleted it bc it was p egregious but i made a post abt the whole thing #i remember i was upset that minna reacted by saying ‘ok i will simply never explore outside the known world again’#but i had completely forgotten how CHILDISH her response was. they way she literally called ppl rightfully upset that she had used a #very serious slur and i quote ‘meanies’#the comments section once it reopened a week later is also. absolutely horrendous #personal #ssss #stand still stay silent #racism tw #the link is to page 549 of the comic btw
