ok i’m good it doesn’t really smell that bad once you have it on your face

so here is my recipe, in order:

- some cocoa

- some water

- a few drops of red food coloring

- some grenadine (any syrup works but grenadine is red so it adds some intensity to the color; i used the type of syrup that’s supposed to be mixed with water so that it would mix well with the rest)

start with very small doses so you can adapt by adding one or another ingredient to get the texture you want. mix well. in the end you should have something that’s liquid but not too thin (it makes for good blood splashes). it’s easily washable (both your skin and any clothes you might stain), doesn’t harm your skin, it looks pretty realistic and it can last a long time. i applied it with a paint brush and my fingers to smudge it a bit.

so i successfully made fake blood. but it stinks (grenadine and cocoa do not mesh well together) and i'm gonna have to wear that on my face all afternoon. mmmh
