always very interesting when people rush to say the ‘green skinned witches with pointy hats aren’t offensive actually and heres why!’ by saying the green only happened because of wizard of oz and also witch hats are silly and fun lol also witches aren’t real actually they’re just make-believe characters from fables so like who would this possibly be offensive to? while completely and totally ignoring the entire antisemitic core of every aspect of the witch caricature 🤨 who do you think they were persecuting then if witches aren’t real ?

let’s not think any deeper into why pointy hats and brooms and devil imagery is part of medieval European folklore, ok guys? 😌 it’s just silly folklore ❤️
