Doesn't sound like #Verona, doesn't sound like an outskirt. Yet it's my youth area, #Golosine (#golosangeles if you're a snob). Sometimes things are not the prejudice we've got on them #verona #weekend #spring #villas #italy #VeronaIsNotJuliet

Parco dell'Adige Sud, #Verona Following the long path next to the river Adige, we will get across an old ironed bridge, we'll find a little riding with sluggish hungry horses and we'll meet a group of girls sunbathing. No, a single picture can't tell the whole story! #italy #countryside #nature #spring #VeronaIsNotJuliet

Sottopasso di Viale Piave, Verona. Sempre stato buio, pieno di scritte e anonimo. Adesso e' proprio un'altra cosa #verona #eyelabdesign #murales #VeronaIsNotJuliet

New post, new season, new content. It's been a while since I've been thinking about the cities where I lived: Verona, Milan, Rome, London. Each one with his unique identity, and yet I believe that Verona, my born town, though famous to be the Shakespearian setting of "Romeo and Juliet", is often appreciated only by week-end tourists. It's a town where it's hard to stand up and let something different to be considered - or just recongnised as interesting and good for the town herself. I therefore thought It could have been a nice idea to share an other panorama of this "Juliet's town"; a more personal point of view maybe, but if you think about it, cities are made by their citizens and each one of us is different, so why copy and paste a stereotype? Here is a northern italian town seen by one of her 300,000 citizens :-) Picture: Verone, viale Piave, murales realised by EyeLabDesign.

This is the beginning of a story, a path, a way to reach one of the very hearts of Verone. See all that bush on an old arch? well, we aren’t actually interested in it, though very pictoresque. Instead, what should grab our attention is the street. A steep pathway called Via Belluno, situated just at the end of the Porto San Pancrazio area. The reason why we shouldn’t take our eyes off the path is that it’s alway been there. Before the bush and its leaves, before the two white columns that support the arch of old bricks, before that house and even before all the other houses that are there, but that you can’t see of course - or, at least, not for now. The little path has the age of the river, and since is the river that we want to meet, it’ better to follow him; he will lead us to the Adige Natural Park straightaway.
