[MASTERPOST] JOSH WIDDICOMBE: “NOT MY CUP OF TEA” (2025/2026 TOUR)
A masterpost of information related to Josh's upcoming 2025/2026 UK tour. Including pre-sale/general sale info, and venue information.
**THIS POST IS CURRENTLY WIP!!!!**
WAKE UP, LOSERS! Josh has announced his next tour for 2025/2026!
“Not My Cup of Tea” will be touring around the UK, starting this time next year! (September 2025-May 2026) His first tour since 2019!
BLURB: "Josh Widdicombe is back on tour, not again! By now he has almost certainly mastered the art of stand-up, either that or he has wasted the last 15 years of his life. Come along and decide for yourself. Expect it to be shorter and with lower production values than Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, but funnier and with more references to tea."
---
Also, I’m sure this’ll be the FIRST LEG (ha!) of the tour, so hold onto your hats, he’ll likely come to a venue near you! Guessing due to Josh's popularity, thanks to Parenting Hell, demand for him will have gone up a bit since 2019. Good luck!
---
TICKET INFO/DATES, PRESS ETC, BELOW THE CUT.
Tumblr media
TICKET ACCESS INFO:
PRICES: £31-£37 (according to the Liverpool Philharmonic, may vary depending on venue)
PRE-SALE INFO:
Pre-sale will be on Thursday 19th September (11am), while general sale will be the following day.
Sign-up to Josh's mailing list BEFORE 9am on 19th September for pre-sale access.
As ever, don’t stick with the big name ticket websites - try to stick to the venues themselves, as that's where most the allocation of tickets will be! (tour dates and more info below the cut)
I'm sure I don't need to say it, and it's probably unlikely, but obviously... DON'T BUY FROM RESALE WEBSITES (Oasis say hi!). Do you want Hillsy calling you a dick??

ATG Tickets (tend to have their own members pre-sale too)

I could maybe believe it until I saw the Llandudno date. I know for a fact Venue Cymru tried to book the band for gigs the whole time they were active and Van always turned it down (Billy has spent years banging on about it, saying Van has got too big for his boots 😠). It would be such an awkward gig, it's a really small room and chances are Van would know a lot of people in the audience personally from his past. I highly doubt he would ever play a gig there.
I just checked it out and it’s a 1,500 cap venue!
I know they’re being called warm ups but come on. Headlining one of the UKs biggest festivals to this - and with being a highly anticipated comeback?
This is interesting about the band turning that venue down though anon, I’d never heard this. I can deffo imagine it being kinda awkward in his hometown after what’s happened the last few years!

Just to share with you a little bit about my painting: "Hay Harvest at Rhyd Y Bont".
It's a piece inspired by a walk with Steve last month. We headed along the coast from Pont-Rhyd-Y-Bont or Four Mile Bridge on Ynys Môn / Anglesey. It was a sweltering day, so we just had to go for a beer at the Anchorage after...
Before that, we turned left on the Ynys Cybi side of the bridge (facing as if to cross the bridge), walked along the edge of the beach and eventually the footpath ran across a freshly harvested hayfield in front of a "bwthyn", a traditional Welsh cottage.
The scene looked ageless, despite the vehicles next to the homestead. The grass was so dry in parts it seemed to catch the light like gold and copper, and in other parts it seemed so bleached as to reflect the sky. It was achingly beautiful, as so much of Ynys Môn is to my mind. Do you ever want to cry because something is so beautiful...? Well, that's Ynys Môn to me.
This piece was worked in Sennelier and other oil pastels and set with Sennelier oil pastel fixative, which is great stuff for avoiding some of the practical problems of working in oil pastels... including any residual stickiness.
We artists call pastel pieces "paintings" even though the process is usually more like drawing. Maybe it's because we want works in this medium to be given as much respect as those created with a brush...
The A4 (29.7cm by 21cm) piece is available unframed but including UK postage for £75, or £95 framed if you're close enough for me to deliver. Please just private message me to purchase it.
Or it's available in various types and sizes of prints, and printed to your order on all kinds of lovely things, at:
Thanks!

'Mared' Announces New EP 'Better Late Than Never' Out May 10th
North Walian Artist 'Mared' aka Mared Williams has announced her New EP 'Better Late Than Never' which will be released independently on the 10th of May 2024.
Following on from the warmly recieved 'Lately' single which was a beautiful tribute to the Laurel Canyon Movement of the late sixties.
'Lately' single gained some fantastic support from Adam Walton on BBC Introducing, LeFutureWave, God Is In The TV (TracksofTheweek)Nation Cymru, Amplify The Noise, BeachHouseMag, The Other Side Reviews and Extra French Blog.
Splitting her time between rural Wales and London, Mared’s music results in an intriguing blend of folk infused soul-pop. Deeply connected to her roots in Welsh folk but always seeking to combine with a new pace in the city.
Mared's debut bilingual album, 'Y Drefn' was awarded Welsh Album of The Year in 2021. Since then, Mared released her EP 'Something Worth Losing', in 2022, co-written with producer Nate Williams in Beaumaris and has been supported by Radio Wales' Welsh A list and BBC Radio Cymru and performed her originals with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and at Sony Hall in NYC.
Mared’s solo gigs are intimate and powerful when she plays for herself, but in keeping with the enormous flexibility of her vocals, the full band set up of 7 friends has sold outand brought joy to venues such as (London): Pizza Express Holborn, Greennote Music, (Wales): Clwb Ifor Bach, Pontio and many more.
Looking ahead to this year, following her new singles ‘pe bawn i’n rhydd’ (BBC Radio Wales’ Welsh A-list and Radio Cymru’s track of theweek), and ‘lately;’ Mared is releasing an EP called ‘better late than never’ on the 10th of May 2024, and is in the process of recording a full band live album, consisting of both released and unreleased songs, supported by BBC Horizons Launchpad.
Her name is already on summer festival line-ups, such as Focus Wales in Wrexham and the North American Festival of Wales in Pittsburg (Pennsylvania) and she’s looking forwards to growing her fanbase this year as new music is released.
