Mega curious on how Amaranth Shad and Aphmau would react and behave towards each other when they first meet after Shad regains physical form.

Obviously some of the answer would be spoilers if I had actually gotten a solid idea on it.

But since Aphmau doesn’t know about the Irene thing by the time she meets Shad (Hyria offers to tell her of her past but she decides that if she’s going to have her daughter, she needs to focus on looking after her daughter and not trying to grapple with her own damage) but he’s so familiar, and she’s actually scared of him. And obviously this is because Irene feared having to deal with the consequences of her actions and what is Shad if not exactly that?

She’d be really avoidant and anxious around him (understandable when big man swings sword) and would overall only get more scared of him as she realises that they know eachother, and that she must have done something awful.

Meanwhilst Shad is just pissed off and vengeful. He’s angry, he’s yelling, and he’s mostly just conflicted. Like on one hand, it feels good to watch Irene cower in fear before him after everything she did… but that’s his wife, and as much as he hates her, he will never stop loving her (toxic romance but it’s their truth) so seeing her scared in any context hurts him a lot.

He’d overall be really mean and aggressive but if she starts crying he would, without even meaning to, start going easier on her.
