RULES (read before following & requesting! <3)

I have been having this blog for a while now and while I've posted my rules here and there under random asks, I decided to finally sit and combine them under one post.

Please, follow the rules before following and requesting.

Anonymous requests are accepted.

Please DO NOT send me any requests if my ask box is closed. You can see whether I accept requests if you check the pinned post on my blog. (Keep in mind that sometimes I open my requests for one fandom only!) Any requests sent while my ask box is closed will be deleted.

Please do not send me requests involving reader being a specific nationality/race/religion or belonging to a certain social group, which will make writing for them both hard and inappropriate.

Please do not pressure me into writing. I do this for free so I can practice my writing skills and share my love for writing with other people. However, there are certain requests that I either cannot finish or I just don't have the inspiration to start them. If your request is one of these, I always make sure to post it under the tag "fic ideas", so other writers can check the tag and use any of the ideas for inspiration.

Please be specific with your request. Do not send me requests that lack plot or in general just say the genre and the character. Example: "I want fluff with [character]" - that is too vague. I can't write anything like that unless you give more specifics. "I want some fluff with [character] involving reader telling them they are pregnant and what their reaction would be" - that is perfect! You tell me what you want and leave me some freedom to exercise my imagination.

I do have NSFW content on this blog and I labelled it as 18+ blog. I do NOT police my posts and who interacts with them, but from time to time I do check, and if minors are caught interacting with the NSFW content, you will be blocked.

Please do NOT repost my work anywhere.

I am open for people writing part 2 of some of my writings or being inspired by my work, but if you post it anywhere, please give credit for your inspiration.

What I do NOT write:

underage (I do write all my characters in their early 20s, but I avoid specifying exact age so you, as a reader, can fill the gaps! However, I do NOT write any content for characters or readers under the age of 18!!);

male or trans reader (I DO write gender-neutral content tho!);

dark content (rape, incest, abuse, pedophilia etc);

character x character (only character x reader or s/o).

ok so question from a beginner writer:

im writing a character x reader fic. i want my work to be relatable and inclusive to everyone so i wanna write a gender neutral reader, so like no real talk of body parts/structure and with they/them pronouns. my question is, is it ok that im writing a gender neutral reader for everyone and not specifically people on the trans/enby spectrum? ik it sounds a lil odd but i dont wanna intrude on their space.

and im not trans/enby, so is it also ok that i read gender neutral reader fics and still insert myself?

I am not trans or enby, so I cannot speak if it is okay from their perspective, but I can offer you my thoughts as a writer.

Honestly, when it comes to character x reader fics, writing the reader as gender-neutral is probably the best way to do it. Not only it allow anyone to consume your content (female, male, trans, non-binary, etc), but it also provides a safe space for people who are not sure where they fall on the spectrum or are feeling uncomfortable about gender. It harms no one and it also gives equal opportunity for everyone to feel included (no matter their gender or sexuality).

Of course, this is your art and you should write it the way you feel comfortable, but I can share with you a bit of my experience:

In the past, when I first started writing (not on this blog, thank God lol!), I wrote only character x f!reader and while it was okay at first, soon I got many requests asking me to re-write certain fics with either m!reader or trans!reader. I am not going into details, but what I learned is that if you write only for a particular group of people, at some point either:

a) someone is going to be excluded and won't be able to enjoy your art, or

b) your risk offending a group of people if you decide to write reader as having gender/sexuality that is not yours by stereotyping and portraying it wrongly/cringe.

What I am trying to say is that as a writer, you should create a safe space not only for your readers but also for yourself. And writing gender-neutral content provides that "safety net" for everyone really.

I try to write the majority of my work with a gn! reader, with very few exceptions. I don't see anything wrong with anyone reading or consuming gn! reader fics. Personally, when I write content like that, I want everyone to be able to insert themselves (male, female, cis, trans, enby etc.)
