It’s different than the movie - centers on time traveler Kitty Pryde rather than Wolverine, and it’s short - only two issues. It also marks the end of the awesome Claremont/Byrne story team, as Byrne left the series after the next issue…
Different is fine, I’ve read Age of Ultron. Pity it’s so short though. I’ve really got to read more X-Men, they’re so good
#vektorix#i feel like i'm gonna run out of avengers and inhumans to read#like seriously i go through like a story arc and a half a week#i'm guessing i'm gonna run out by the end of the year#and like i know that they're always writing more#but i'm gonna get like whiplash from the sudden change of pace

I get 90-120 minutes of that every week. But since it's right before bed all i have to do is crawl 15 feet…
Ha, lucky you. All I want to do now is crawl to bed!

I have never actually gone into any tags, even though I use them on occasion. Pretty much trust my curated followers to find things I’d want to see. I figure if it’s good, it’ll get to me one way or another…
Yet another wise, wise person :-)

Capaldi’s debut was the weakest episode in what has been a strong season so far. Character bits were good, but the plot was a mess. Eleventh Hour was a better debut, but so far Capaldi is good…
Eleventh Hour was such an amazing debut, it's one of my favorite episodes. I went into it feeling reeeeeally uncertain about Matt Smith, but that lasted all of thirty seconds. This one was...definitely a mess, yeah.
I meant to make more progress on catching up today, but I'm about to start the second episode!

Days of Future Past (comics version) was coming out around the time I started reading X-Men. The Claremont/Byrne era is revered for good reason. :)
I shall have to track it down

Have a great trip Aren! Looking forward to seeing what’s cooking in your creative cauldron! :)
I hope to! And ha, thank you so much! I really am looking forward to this, because two of these I've been wanting to do since before Frozen Fandom Month, and now I've got so much Exolvo stuff I really want to try. But yes, again, thank you!

Mountain Perspective for those in the flatlands
I was so touched by vektorix 's Kristoff Week fic (part 1) "Not Because It's Easy" that he was so kind to dedicate me. He's right. I live for mountains. I am beyond excited to be working in them for ten weeks this summer.
Since I know many people here have not had the chance to be in this sort of place, here are some photos and a video I immediately thought of while reading that beautiful montane fiction. Maybe this can offer you some perspective on what Kristoff would encounter as well- he'd be on the rocky slopes opposite this peak, but you have to climb peaks like this to get to those oftentimes!
These first few from one of the mountains that I do research on- Pennsylvania Mountain. It is a 13er (13000+ feet high)
The false summit/peak in October, just a week apart- you can see how fast the snow comes in.

A video from the false summit, so you have a panoramic view:
From the top of Trail Ridge Road here in CO, the highest paved road in the US.

See those mountains in the far distant center? Here they are, zoomed in a little. Storm rolling in. (They actually closed the pass shortly after this picture and we had to camp out for an hour till it blew over.)

So yeah. Yay context! (all these photos and video belong to me)
Sorry I can't get the photos to be any bigger. :( You can't see as much this small...

I have done virtually no work with CSS on Tumblr, but the padding property is what would make that work. You’d need to look into some Tumblr reference to see how they implement that tho…overall it looks great however!
YES! It was the padding. God, I had tried everything but that. Thank you! :)

Looks good to me - the only thing a bit off is how the text runs right up to the edge of the boxes - a bit of margin would be welcome…
UGH. I've been trying to fix that and it won't let me...freaking ridiculous.

vektorix replied to your post “How did you find my blog?" More like you found MINE, and somehow dug up Shatter (seriously how on earth did you find that thing it had maybe 20 notes at the time?? And it was a while after I posted it too) and then you gave me the sweetest ask, and then I checked out your blog and realized "Oh my god you're the author of Parables & Primes!" and also saw you loved Tara from BtVS and a bunch of other things and then there was mutual flailing and I don't know it just kind of went from there.”
"Shatter". Owe a lot to that one.
oh yeah, I totally rec it to every single person on the earth
Dear Everyone: If you haven't read Shatter yet, go right now.
Right now.
