When all the trees are gone, the water dries up or is polluted, and all the food cannot grow, only then will we realize, we cannot eat money #govegan #stopeatinganimals #veganfortheearth #veganforthetrees #veganfortheocean #emptyoceansby2050 https://www.instagram.com/p/B2NAHsmBkCR/?igshid=1mfpt6ozyi9gp

#Repost @plantbasedblonde with @repostapp. #modelsofcompassion ・・・ While surfing this afternoon a lifeguard paddled out to an object floating in the water then paddled back. I asked him what it was and he said a soda can. When I asked why he didn't pick it up he hesitated and said, "uhh I'll get it later." I then paddled out grabbed it and yelled to him, "No worries dude I got it. And as a lifeguard you should really take more responsibility for the ocean." He told me that picking up someone else's trash was not his job. When I asked who's it was he said the person who threw it 😀 I then asked if he loves the ocean to which he said yes. I told him matter of factly that he clearly does not if he is not taking care of her. I then got out of the water, ran to the back beach to recycle the can and when I turned around I noticed a huge pod of dolphins swimming by which initially really bummed me out because I have been waiting all summer for a solid dolphin encounter. Then I realized that if I had not disposed of the can it would still be threatening the Dolphins (and their friends) habitat 🐬🐠🐳🐚 The entitled mindset of this lifeguard is the exact one that is crippling our planet. This diffusion of responsibility and hope that others will clean up after us while Mother Earth is in peril right now. The fact that we may see fish-less oceans by 2050 or that 1/3 of the worlds fresh water is used to feed livestock while millions of people have little or no access to drinkable water. Meanwhile the fecal waste of billions of factory farmed animals is polluting the ground and waterways, creating ocean dead zones and killing off thousands of creatures. We must learn to step outside our comfort zones, sometimes inconvenience ourselves and stop expecting others to clean up messes (even if we did not make them). If we don't start getting active and making sacrifices this Earth will not be around too much longer for us or future generations to love, cherish and enjoy βœŒοΈβ™»οΈ #veganfortheplanet #veganfortheocean #veganfortheanimals #veganforthepeople #veganforthefuture #donttrashwhereyousplash
