I've reread TGT and the nikolai duology before the second season released and that was my mistake 🤭

AJSJSAJFDJFSF i mean at least you could follow the story somewhat, i guess??? this season really didn't try very hard to make the story accessible for people who haven't read tgt (and even if you have read the trilogy it's a lot of HUH?!?!) that one text post that's like "if you haven't read the books you can't comprehend the show and if you have you can't enjoy it" put it quite accurately lmao. ((and the nikolai duology is definitely something i have to reread bc i don't remember much about it besides major plot points..... i just know that there wasn't nearly enough nikolai which was very disappointing in its own right.))
