"oh, thank goodness i found you. i just need a coffee break. keep me company?"

carina knew what they did wasn't meant for everyone, but that it took a special kind of doctor to really focus in on their speciality. still she wished that people actually focused in on everything when they did rotations. "it's only natural to be frustrated when people don't do their jobs properly." carina nodded.

"it's not all bad just... sometimes frustrating is all." jo knew ob wasn't for everyone but they all had to do some of it, why not do it to the best of your ability and hope to learn something? "i know, i tell them that but sometimes it falls on deaf ears. we're getting through it though."

carina sighed, running a hand over her face at the thought of that. "i'm almost glad i spend a lot of time with research than with interns." she hated when they claimed to have found a focus and didn't want to do their assignment any longer. "they still have to do the rotations in order to actually get everything done."

"it's just been really busy today and my interns have been half assing it." jo vented lightly as she let out a sigh. "i think they're on that part of the rotation where they don't want to be in ob but need to do their weeks with me."

"it really is the most relaxing combination." carina raised a brow at the comment. "do you want to talk about it, or just forget and think about something else for now?"

"never. i would not say no to a coffee break and company; that's like the best combination ever. especially after how tonight has gone."

[saltedair]

"oh, good. i was almost worried you were going to say no. and then i'd have to be alone."

"what good timing, i was just on my way for break myself. of course i'll keep you company."
