Help Wanted 2: Lets Talk About Sun (Spoilers for Help Wanted 2!)

Okay,

I've had some time to digest Help Wanted 2. What a freaking roller coaster. I'm assuming you all have played/watched/seen Help Wanted 2, so be advised if you haven't seen everything we have access to so far, I'll be bringing it up.

One thing I'll say upfront is its nice to know Sun and Moon ARE older like I theorized. They're tied to the Fall Festival which took place in 1970 per one of the prize collector posters and the fact they deal with the carousel. I think Steel Wool also tried to point out and confirm Moon is patient zero for....I guess I should say Vanny's influence in the PizzaPlex. He's definitely the favorite to be pitted against us. I'm STILL losing my mind over the Princess Quest Ending.

So, the DCA fandom has been all across the board, ranging from "I love sassy Sun" to "Sun is SO mean. This ruins my headcannon." I don't think it really does. At least, it doesn't have to.

Our first encounter with Sun in front of us is Arts and Crafts. This minigame is located in the world we eventually learn is AR. We also are clearly a new FazBear hire. Sun is definitely sassy, and let's face it, VERY critical of what he defines as a mistake. BUT the flip side of that coin is he is still nice when you do the art correctly. He calls you friend, he wants to help you. If the player eats the crafts, he loses his mind. It's because he's worrying for the player due to the effects eating the crafts will have on them, ie: "That is how you get ulcers!". (By far, MY FAVORITE line of Sun's btw. Kellen stated that line and the indigestion line were both improved btw- genius.) He still doesn't want Moon to get you, he doesn't want to get in trouble. The one threat is after you've been hitting him several times and you've outright pissed him off. (I personally, think the "I should turn off the lights myself" was a drama king being a drama king.) Then we take the mask off. We see everything destroyed and Sun acts like the Sun we've always known. "I'm perfectly fine where I am. It's better this way. It's safer this way." "Keep the generator on. Without it I won't be able to help you." He's the same as he's always been. We've just seen a new layer.

What we ultimately have to come to terms with, is that Sun is a control freak and a perfectionist. He thinks he "has" to be. He doesn't want you to move from your craft table so he can watch you like a hawk. Do the job you are assigned. Get in, get out. Do the art HIS way, and follow HIS rules. If you don't, bad things can happen. Bad things HAVE happened. Another explanation could also be that maybe he isn't as free of the glitch trap virus as we thought? He can be sassy, he can be brutally honest, he can be concerned for us, for children, and his own darkness can rear its head, all at the same time.

Steel Wool could also be trying to slam into our faces that Sun is incomplete. He is one-half of a whole. He has good intentions, he means well at his core, but he cannot stop, regroup, and act rather than react. He gets stressed, and can't cope and adjust. Instead, he demands control back when he feels like he's about to lose it. Moon is calm, calculating, and logical. It's why they need to be whole and why Sun is so grateful to Cassie when she fixes them to become Eclipse. As Eclipse, they both find the parts of themselves they've so desperately needed.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE your idea of post-bad end cassie sticking around to try fixing everything and befriending the ruined robots SOB. Do you have any headcanons for them in this setting?

M.X.E.S and Helpi are BOTH sassy little bitches. They bicker at each other over things a lot like two geeky nerds. Unfortunately Cassie has to watch them bickering be it through the vanni mask or the implant. Sometimes either one or both of them ramble over something code/technology based to Cassie, essentially making her their "debuggy ducky".

They collect the Freddy-talk to make sure the Mimic can't use it again to trick Cassie again or trick future victims so easily with it. Cassie also claims Gregory's forgotten Glam Freddy backpack for herself for better inventory (and maybe anything useful inside if there's anything.) Finder's keepers, bitch.

After finding a blue spray paint can (many cans are seen abandoned through, having been used for the graffiti stuff,) Cassie uses it to paint Prototype Glamrock Freddy's endo claws blue, to match his casing hands a little. It's not much but boy does that make him feel fabulous! She does the same for Roxy's claws after finding a green one.

They find an usable old stroller to carry Monty. He's lowkey embarrassed, but he certainly prefers this accommodation over having to drag and crawl himself everywhere.

On their quest to reactivate the security nodes they all also keep on the look out for anything that could be used to fix one of them a little bit (like a spare arm for Chica or spare eye(s) for Roxy, things to help them fix Bonnie, anything that could help any of them.)

Speaking of, Chica donated one of her eyes to Roxy. One eye is better than none.

All the robots are equipped with some medical knowledge in case they had an emergency with patrons back in the PizzaPlex glory, especially the Daycare Attendant/Eclipse. They all try to help patch Cassie up from injuries caused by the elevator drop.

The mini Music Men follow Cassie like ducklings. They're also great at finding any goods due to fitting through cramped nookies and crannies and locate things the others wouldn't be able to reach due to being bigger.

Helpi and M.X.E.S seeing that Monty shrine through Cassie's point of view: "IS THAT MONTY'S FUCKING LEGS-"

You can bet they stop for a bit to play the Chica's Feeding Frenzy and Monty's Gator Golf arcades. They either take turns or gather around Cassie to watch her play and cheer her on it. Listen they all went through a LOT, they NEED a little harmless reprieve!

Roxy, Monty and Chica definitely still hold resentment towards Gregory for what he did against them in the past. They're also even madder at him now on Cassie's behalf after learning he sent the elevator plummeting down with her inside and trapping her, an indignation the others also share because "wtf bro what kind of friend does that shit???" The Daycare Attendant is mostly salty because Gregory's a RULE-BREAKER and his ass is still BANNED.

By the way, it doesn't really matter whether it was the real Gregory who betrayed Cassie or the Mimic putting up an act again. As far as they're all concerned, it was the real Gregory.

They pick up and collect plushies that are still in good condition (except ones that are child nodes in M.X.E.S' security, those only get hidden better.) Prototype Glamrock Freddy loves tucking a few plushies into his hatch, they feel soft inside! A few also get put inside Monty's stroller with him.

Despite M.X.E.S' hostility at Cassie back at the beginning, after understanding better why she was doing what she was doing, and watching her trying her hardest and giving it her all to make things better, it learned to hold a huge respect for the girl. The one thing M.X.E.S and Helpi agree with despite their bickering.

M.X.E.S: You're such a sassy little shit! Helpi: Hey don't cuss! The kid can see it through the mask/implant! M.X.E.S: M.X.E.S: OH FUCK, I FORGOR! Helpi: YOU DID IT AGAIN-! Bonnie: Hey kiddo, you okay? Cassie: Huh? Roxy: Yeah, you looked spaced out. Cassie: Oh, yeah I'm okay. M.X.E.S. just said "fuck". The entire squad in the real world: HE WHAT-

I honestly don't get the hatred on Gregory. He's literally a child, an unfortunate one at that.

He's basically just a more mature and sassy version of the Crying Child (who people really like, mind you), heck, basically ANY of the canon kids of FNAF.

People are SO butthurt over him supposedly "killing" Cassie and beating up robots who tried to. MURDER. HIM. Friendly reminder that Cassie getting betrayed was ONE of THREE endings. Not to mention the Mimic literally personifying itself as Gregory, so who's to say the elevator voice wasn't that monster? The books explain that the Mimic can mess with electrical equipment using only its CLAW.

If we're talking about people getting mad over Gregory being a heartless murderer in GGY, he LITERALLY was under Glitchtrap's influence, EXACTLY the reason Vanny was. Blame the virus, not him.

I honestly think the reason why people are so mad at Gregory is because he was against the most simpable and most well-written characters. If that was the genuine reason, I would not be surprised. This fandom is nuts.

Gregory's been shown to be kind and compassionate, forming a bond with a crying girl when no one showed up to her birthday, as well as saving a woman who reluctantly tried to kill him. He gave them BOTH a second chance at being happy. The thing with Freddy just speaks for itself. Dad and son found family.

As for the "gremlin" behavior? He's 12. Enough said. Kids are kids. If you hate that, FNAF is not for you.

List of little things I believe in/prefer for the daycare attendant mostly but also just security breach.

I prefer to imagine security breach as the cut version then the final version.

I enjoy soft moon. Still a gremlin with the virus. But normal moon is just soft boy.

I enjoy sassy Sun. But I believe he was the once childish artistic fella before he got burnt out.

I do like the idea of Sun and Moon being one personality. At least before the virus. Then they become too. And there was no reverse.

I like the idea that Vanessa and vanny have a reflection in sun and moon.

I believe Jack-o-moon is the base daycare attendant. And is super old. He's hiding somewhere in the back of their code, or was deleted so Sun and Moon could have the body.

I think Moon came first in some way or fashion. Either because jack-o-moon was a moon first. Or that moon is sort of the older brother in coding.

I like to imagine that the eclipse in the arcade machine. Is either Jack or some outdated code of the daycare attendant. I usually imagine it as the theater attendant code.

I used to imagine the arcade Eclipse as the security code. But that has shifted.

I like to think that the daycare attendant was infected through the arcade machine somehow instead of through the security protocols.

I've always liked the thought that the daycare attendant was first. That they were infected first. And that they fell from grace first due to the strain of their job/life.

I believe that for the most part. The security protocols are what was infected. DJ being an exception because of his different bouncer protocol.

I like to use the old maps of security breach instead of the current one. Meaning that there is a lot more connecting hallways and less elevators.

I like to believe that the daycare was once more themed as a shoreline than what is today. I believe there was a lot more pirate theming before the jester and Castle came in.

I don't think foxy was ever built. But I do think there was a plan to have him. And that he was just throwing around attractions so fucking hard He never actually got past the idea.

I enjoy foxy Dad, DCA attendant son stories.

I enjoy Roxy X DCA more than glitter golf. I think it's the same personality, Just a less proximity sort of thing.

I like the thought that the endo daycare hallways. Is a place that a DCAs frequent. A sort of second home. Mostly for moon.

I like to imagine that at some point. Sun and Moon did perform in a theater like environment. Whether it was small time for testing. Or big time.

I enjoy having Suns rays as an expression. I think Moon uses them somewhat too. But to a different degree.

I believe Gregory is a true evil gremlin.

Since I go off of the cut versions of security breach. It means there's a lot more Vanessa and less Vanny. Plus Vanessa is a lot nicer. Vanny or control struggling Vanessa, typically takes the traits of the current game Vanessa.

The clicking that sun and moon do. Especially the extreme that moon does. I like to imagine is there parts being broken. Or over exerted in some way. With moon especially. With him contorting and shit. I think he's pushing his mechanisms.

I've always liked to think that the daycare attendant and the DJ weren't made by fazbear. Or at least we're made by an extension company owned by fazbear. They just always seemed far too different than the rest.

I like to go for a mid level of Monty guilty. I think Monty definitely attacked Bonnie. But I don't think he was planning on replacing them. A slash of rage that went too far. Probably the virus. Desperately covered up in a panic. Although I do believe in Canon. It was with purpose.

I think that the nightmare plush. Is some sort of ghost of Plex. Sort of like an extension of the blob. Next up with much more thought.

I believe the nightmare plush is doing something to the characters of the Plex. Particularly with the daycare attendant Moon. Mostly because of their closeness with kids.

Ruin provides a sort of timeline that has me hella confused.

Like, if GGY is canonical, (and with patient 46 it most likely is) that means Gregory was under the mimic’s control for a while.

But when/how did he get under that control and when/how did he break out of it?

1. GGY has knowledge of computers and the pizzaplex. Gregory does not (he actively questions certain things within and his little “I dunno it looks complicated…” when upgrading Freddy is just hmmmm)

2. GGY is a nice kid but he has his weird moments (I think staring blankly at someone after they called you your real name is sus behavior). Gregory is either sassy or scared out of his mind throughout SB. Not to mention, Ruin has him being like “I have no idea what that thing down there in the basement is” with possibly Vanessa having to give him the run down

NOT TO MENTION his relationship with Cassie. Gregory has been to the pizzaplex. There’s cut dialogue where Freddy says he remembers Gregory from “that place”. And the thing that isn’t cut is Freddy’s little “hmph” when he learns Gregory’s name (like Deja vu but Freddy doesn’t dwell too long on it). And the fact that Gregory doesn’t have ANY existing database??? None?????? Like what did he do that as GGY/Dr. Rabbit???

There’s still all those little areas where someone has camped out. Was that Gregory or previous kids that got lured in????

Also, when did Cassie and Gregory become friends? Being freed from the Mimic’s control clearly messed with his memories (I think it’s implied Vanessa has little to no memories of when she’s Vanny???) does that mean Gregory and Cassie became friends before he got possessed?? And why did Gregory go missing?????

With Vanessa you had to play some hidden arcade games to free her so what did Gregory do??? Did Freddy’s malfunction have to do with it somehow??????

random headcanon When she met up with Gregory again after SB she started helping him tear down his missing posters. She didn't know why he wanted them gone or why he was so hesitant in public, but she didn't want to pry too much and just wanted to help out. She tried, couldn't get a lot of answers out of him, and realized it was just too out of his comfort zone to talk about whatever happened while he was missing, so she just resorted to helping him however she can!

unpopular opinion Tbh I don't think she'd be angry after the elevator fall or even believe it was Gregory- at least not immediately!! Like- I could see her becoming angry over time, but I honestly think that at first she'd 100% think it was the Mimic- I mean- she literally just met a giant endo that was trying to kill her that mimicked her friends voice and communicated through speakers, I don't think she'd assume her best friend would try and kill her after meeting a dude like that. Maybe she'd end up thinking it was Gregory later and becoming way more bitter about it afterwards if we're going the Vannie route, but I think at first she'd just be really tired and sad and upset at the Mimic, but not at Gregory. She probably just thinks "he's my best friend, he would never do that. I'm sure he's on his way to get me right now, so I just need to survive a few more hours and I'll be fine." or something like that

Y/n story: they always wanted a greenhouse, grew plants all the time. Their godparents had land in Arizona, and they had surrounding land that hadn’t been bought yet. Y/n decided to buy it once they were older, and they have the land now, 3 acres, plus the two acres from her godparents that she used to build her house on.In her house she had a ton of plants, it is somewhat small but cosy, she has a giant garage for robotics and stuff since she had always wanted to work with that, and they make small little guys similar to helpy. Once they begin construction on their land they start looking for workers, there was going to be the main greenhouse area which they would tend to, a restaurant in the center, a small daycare for kids of adults who wanted to go to relax, and a small cafe, all inside the giant greenhouse. They start looking when someone catches their attention, they went out on a ride with their cousins on ATV’s and found robot parts by the mountains, that seemed to be mostly intact, they looked like the sun almost, and considering every time y/n found machine parts they would take them, they decided this time would be no different, they place the animatronic in their lap and continue their ride as per usual, and going fast over the bumpy parts of the dirt makeshift road because that is always fun. Once they make it back to the land, they show their find to their godparents, who are thrilled! And their cousins are excited too. They take them to their garage with the help of their godfamily and get to work on fixing up some damaged wires and cables, and also cleaning up the shell and endo skeleton. The animatronic seems yellow, like the sun, it reminds them of something but they can’t place it. Then they turn it on and shenanigans ensue.

Y/n behavior: Nice, assertive, loves doing fun or dangerous stuff(ridding atv’s at 60 mph on dirt paths on the mountain) but also loves arts and crafts, is good with kids but never wanted them, which is why the greenhouse has a daycare, like to joke around a lot, and hanging out with their cousins even if they make fun of them sometimes, they have a ton of hobbies like sewing, crocheting, 3d printing, drawing, building crafts out of cardboard, 3d modeling, and building with legos.

Y/n appearance: is often seen wearing gardening clothes, a sun hat, or mechanic clothes and a bandana(that they made by crocheting it)

Y/n likes: doing crafts, dangerous things like riding the atv’s, having fun, relaxing, robots, sun/moon, learning about psychology, always 3d printing stuff, playing Mexican music over the greenhouse speakers(like la flaca) especially in the restaurant,

Y/n dislikes: karens, people destroying their plants in the greenhouse.

Silly moments and memories: y/n is sitting with her grandma by a fire pit with their family, she notices she is eating peanuts, they ask if they could have any, and grandma pulls an endless well of peanuts out of her pocket, with some candy, surprise lol. The whole family just looks in shock at grandma, like how tf???

They had a piñata one day to celebrate Christmas and a hook was sticking out, so y/n gets a small gash on their hand (horizontal from the base of their thumb to the other side of the hand(no this is not very specific wdym)) while blindfolded and going at it on the piñata. (Yea y/n is sorta Hispanic I’m sorry but it’s so fun to write that stuff)

I completely over analyzed Sun, Moon and Eclipse

Minor spoilers for sb, ruin, and help wanted 2

My personal theory is that Eclipse was made as a daycare attendant while sun and moon were made as theater performers (that bit is already known by simply looking into some things, at the very least they served some sort of role within the theater)

I believe that Eclipse helped within the daycare during typical work hours- morning to evening ish ig- and later they would go to the theater and prepare to preform for others.The theater was probably more of a teen and adult thing, kids probably not being able to comprehend most jokes and whatever.

So Eclipse worked as the robotic daycare attendant in the mornings and Sun and moon worked in the theater in the evenings

I think that after more and more human workers left the building and were replaced by staff bots, fazbear entertainment made the executive decision to replace Sun and Moon in the theater with staff bots. Moving them to the daycare and almost completely getting rid of Eclipse, but they decide to keep them in their coding since it's too much effort to remove them.

This bit will be specifically based on Sun's behavior in help wanted 2 and sb/ruin since during these games moon is presumably infected with the vanny virus and we don't really know his real personality very much. In sb and ruin Sun acts much more gentle and cheerful infront of Gregory and Cassie, since they're kids. However in help wanted 2 he acts a lot sassy-er to the point where it's almost rude. Assuming the player in this game is an adult, Sun would have no reason to be super gentle and child friendly with the mc. I'm guessing that this is how he normally acted with staff. Unfortunately we still don't know hardly anything about Moon before he was infected with the the vanny virus, but from some tidbits of info that can be found in ruin through the ar and real world collectibles (reminder that in ruin the descriptions for collectibles are based on cassies thoughts)Collectable number 5 "Moon Plush" has the description of "I never slept better than I did in the daycare" and collectable number 8 "Sun plush" has the description of "I used to have so much fun in the daycare" this is- in my opinion- concrete evidence that Sun and Moon were truly good at what they did and made the effort to help with the kids as much as possible.

Since I'm following the fnaf sun and moon tags I've been seeing some discussion of Sun's characterization in HW2 and while im a lurker I HAVE been sitting on thoughts on the DCA since SB dropped so I might as well put down my two cents (also spoilers for the secret ending)

It's been my opinion since literally SB came out that one of the primary effects of the "virus", should it exist, is that it exaggerates negative personality traits. It's honestly been rly fun seeing people also come to this conclusion over the past 24 hours LMAO. While I think it's primary focus was to corrupt the animatronics' security protocols so they would attack people on sight, the personality altering was an added side effect. (Added note: this is also my explanation for why Sun isn't aggressive in SB, Sun's security protocol is Moon)

So while Roxy's low self-esteem has turned into her being so obsessed with attention she'll kill you if you don't Stare at her, Monty's rocker attitude has devolved into constant destructive rage, and Chica's obsession with food has gotten so bad she's now attacking people over it, I believe we're finally seeing more of how Sun was affected. I don't think he wasn't affected in SB - the way he grabs you and refuses to let you go anywhere, the fact that he can't even handle a small mess when he literally works at a daycare. It was subtle but there was some corruption there.

I think HW2 elaborates on this. Again we see his fixation on not letting you move, his hatred of messes (to the point of threatening or actually committing violence this time and destroying the art you make when its clear from his living spaces that he usually keeps art made in the daycare). He also gets very angry at you for taking a while to do things or getting things wrong. He actively discourages creativity. While this could be laughed off as Fazbear Ent being shitty per usual, we know that Sun actually was good at his current job at some point, so this is probably further alteration. I also think this minigame takes place some time before SB given how casually he threatens to set Moon on you if you annoy him enough LMAO. Clearly still a little freaked out by him but not enough to be completely terrified of transforming.

I also think worth noting is the probability that we're playing as an adult, specifically a technician (whether it be Vanessa or Cassie's dad). If Vanny has been tinkering with Moon for a while by that point (given the secret ending, it makes it clear that their relationship is one where Moon is Vanny's sentient tool to be used), I think Sun has very good reason to be sassy and passive-aggressive with technicians at this point, considering its heavily implied Moon hasn't always been the way he is now and also less-heavily implied that Sun enjoyed his other half's company at one point.

Long story short I think the virus (should it exist) is exaggerating Sun's traits of perfectionism and being controlling, likely leftovers from when he was a stage animatronic. And with or without that explanation, his behavior also makes sense if you assume he doesn't like technicians or adults in general.

Cassie occasionally gets mild dizzy spells after somewhat physically taxing tasks, likely resulting from having hit her head in the elevator drop. They're mild and usually last only a few minutes at a time.

In those moments, M.X.E.S locks her out of the vanni mask as the AR world can prolong the dizziness with one in such more weary condition. It also discourages Helpi from talking to her through the implant during those moments.

Additionally, M.X.E.S no longer needs the inhibitors to restrict Cassie's vanni mask controls-- after she offered her mask as a new security node, M.X.E.S achieved further incorporation into it, like Helpi. It tends to restrict her mask controls now only with her best interest, such as to prevent her from using it during dizzy spells.

As it appears that Helpi would get tampered with several times (yellow eyes, pulsing vein,) mostly likely by the Mimic pretending to be Gregory. However, with M.X.E.S now also incorporated into the mask, it prevents the Mimic from pulling the same stunt, effectively securing Helpi from future tampering. As a result, his misleading and gaslighting was reduced by a huge notch if not nulled completely, as those instances weren't really him. Unfortunately his sassiness is all his. M.X.E.S has had to become intimately familiar with it now.

Chica has her voice back, thanks to Cassie! She also functions slightly better (as in not randomly powering down,) since Cassie went out of her way to dig and pull all the trash, rotten food, and goo off Chica's body and endoskeleton, as all the accumulated junk in her inner components were interfering with her functions.

Not only you can find Monty's legs in that hidden Monty shrine, but also his sunglasses and even his bass (formerly Bonnie's, as we've learned by now.) For now there's not much to do about his legs because reattaching them back to him require a complex level of repair that they just don't have the means to achieve in their current situation. But gator boy is very happy to have his sunglasses back, and his bass for the emotional value it has even though he can't play it in his current condition. It's the best Monty has felt in a long while now.

While Roxy prided in her appearance, and yes she's upset she hardly resembles who she was, she doesn't dwell on it as much as she used to, far more concerned about her twice no.1 daughter child. But she still greatly appreciates when Cassie lets her know she's still pretty in her eyes.

That can literally be seen with the vanni mask, with Cassie seeing Roxy exactly as she was with holographic filling even through her ruined state.

In fact, that phenomenon gradually spreads over to the other robots as well with holographic filling over their missing parts, seemingly based on how much Cassie bonds with each of them.

In the AR vision, Chica gets her beak back, as well as her hair crest and bow, over her most exposed endo leg/foot, and an entire holographic arm where the physical one is missing and holographic casing over her endo arm; She also gets an holographic eye in place of the one she donated to Roxy.

Monty doesn't get his legs or tail but his entire upper body gets his former pristine holographic looks.

Prototype Glamrock Freddy no longer disappears in the AR world, gets holographic casing over his endo hands as well as his exposed endo foot, then his stomach hatch lids filling in the broken parts and highlighting the bolt pattern, and lastly an entire holographic Glamrock Freddy head (which allows him slightly better communication with Cassie with the mask on, even if mostly through facial expressions and body language since he still can't speak.)

The Daycare Attendant has Sun's sunrays filling the broken parts in with holographic bits, holographic bell at the tip of Moon's cap as well as more holographic bells on his wrists, holographic casing filling in over his hands and an holographic leg filling over his most exposed one.

Bonnie doesn't really fit this phenomenon since he's technically not missing parts, he's just busted as hell. He does however get an holographic filling on his chest highlighting the star symbol he's supposed to have there, and curiously, an holographic earring where his physical one's missing, matching Freddy's earring (the "You & me forever and ever" got me ok.)

Also. Since Vanny is implied to still be around at the end of HW2, that begs a question: where did Dr. Rabbit go?

My Answer: His in the Daycare Attendant! His in Sun and Moon. His latched onto Moon specifically and is what is causing the lunar jester to act the way he does.

Which, if true, god. Can you imagine what it's like sharing a headspace with both Sun and Moon?

Spring Bonnie and Gregory AU:

While the rest of the previous animatronics have merged into a giant wire-filled robotic beast... Springtrap is the only one that escaped from the merging... After being used by a child killer and the children's spirits as well as the Classic Animatronics blaming him for the kids' deaths, then losing his only friends (Fredbear + Puppet), Springtrap became a bitter grumpy shell of his former self.

He hides in the vents and walls of the Fazbear Pizzaplex, gazing silently at the children and the Glamrock Animatronics, trying to make sure that nothing happens.

Only Sundrop, Moondrop, the Giant DJ Spider and the tiny DJ Spider know about Springtrap, but they bond with him and so the grumpy Springtrap has a soft spot for them.

In this story, Glamrock Freddy is also infected by Glitchtrap's/Vanny's virus, so it's up to Springtrap to save the child Gregory.

Springtrap and Gregory don't get along at first, due to Springtrap's grumpiness and Gregory's sassiness... But Gregory then sees that the grumpy and old bunny is truly trying to help him, and thus they slowly bond... They become BFFs once they defeat Glitchtrap. 🐇⭐🐇

I like this story ^^ it's so great! I would love to see it as a comics, a novel or maybe even a fangame :D. I can even see why Spring(bonnie)trap can't help Gregory everytime. Glamrock Freddy can't because of his battery, and for Springtrap it's simply maybe because the others animatronics would attack him too. Also, he can't invite Gregory inside his "belly" X) unlike Freddy.

But now I'm questionning of how they meet and what was their reactions. I'm pretty sure that Gregory screamed of terror, since Springtrap is kinda spooky ^^;. And I see that Springbonnie stay Springbonnie, since he can't let a child in trouble, even a sassy child X).

So as we already know, in the standard ending of help wanted 2 we find out we might be playing as one of the staff bots, or more correctly to the one giving Cassie the Vanny mask WE precendently had in ruin. This mkght sound a little confusing because, why are WE the ones giving HER of all people? Why did WE have it? Where did we find it?

I already saw some theories on Tumblr (cannot tag the users bc I can't remember them) that proposed the idea of us being the staff bot possessed by the original workers that were killed by the other animatronics (or something similar). Now this is an excellent theory, but let me dig in deeper.

If some of you don't know, to unlock the secret ending you must 1. unlock the last level of Fazblast by setting the second one on fire, and 2. find some old dolls with the MASKS of the og animatronics on them (plus the puppet)

I firmly believe these are supposed to give us more info about them. SOMETHING has to do with them.

And what do we find in the princess quest last minigame?

Some - including matpat my beloved - theorised that the bonnie mask bully was Cassie's father, both for the similar colour pallette and the connection with bunnies.

"this looks familiar", because THAT is Cassie's father, the bonnie bully that died on the job and proceeded to possess the staff bot. And when he saw his daughter, MAYBE JUST MAYBE he decided to give her the mask (still a BUNNY take care) in the hope that could help her get out.

now, there are still a lot of things that aren't clear. Why did he even have the mask in the first place? How did he end up posses the staff bot?

I think it is confirmed by now that the princess quest ending in security breach is the canon one. Vanny, or better Vanessa, leaves her mask at the pizzaplex because she's free and doesn't need it anymore. Which is why then Cassie has it.

Maybe our ex bully found it while on the job. He might have been an employee, like Cassie said ("dad wouldn't tell me what happened to Bonnie...") or even just simply a janitor, we can't know for sure. But maybe he found it, put it on due curiouity and saw how it facilitated his work. How he died is still unsure to me, but hey,
