📖 Sonia H.

" The first day of University was, as many other first days, kind of stressful. I have lived all my life here so luckily, I know some people, and in fact, I’ve been able to see some of my best friends almost every single day since then, which made the new experience a tad less overwhelming.

That was already a year ago, and we all already know most of the nooks and crannies of this place, and we also got to meet new people, which is always nice.

The thing is, and I know you’re aware of it, some people have just this… ability to stand out; Because of how they dress, because of how they talk, or just because of how they are. It is also not a secret that some students are better than others, just because they’re inherently good at studying or simply because they care more about their future.

I’ve realised people tend to create small communities- This is nothing new, but it’s interesting to observe nonetheless, and some of these above-average students usually don’t even try to interact with other people that much and already have their own circles. I’m not complaining about it.

The thing is… there is this student, Sonia, who really stands out, and not for any of the reasons I mentioned previously. Everything begain six months ago or so, and then it started escalating too quickly:

Sonia is not from here so she didn’t know anyone, but luckily for her, she’s pretty cute, and quickly made friends. Honestly, her confidence was admirable: She was so casual yet respectful, friendly yet formal, and funny yet committed.

But for some reason, some unknown reason, as smart and sceptical as she was, she started gaining interest in stuff like occultism… or astrology- I don’t really know, the thing is, it was weird for her. This didn’t affect her popularity at school, as a matter of fact, I think this made her more… relatable.

“She's just not this superior being.” I’m sure people thought.

But as the months went by, she started behaving more erratically, and even started missing school pretty often. Rumours say she joined a cult!

But that’s not possible… Sonia? In a cult? Ok, I didn’t know her for that long, but it just didn’t seem like her. I mean, it’s true there have been some bizarre things happening around for the last few years… but Sonia in a cult? I didn’t want to believe that.

One day though, she started talking about how… Satan is already wandering the Earth and how she was going to be used as a vessel for a greater good or something like that. I know this just because she was being blatantly loud to another student she briefly kidnapped in the hallway, and one of my friends heard it.

Sonia got on a slippery slope and her downfall was happening at a really fast pace. A couple of months ago it seems like she was yelling nonsense in one of the stalls of the cafeteria restroom and the emergency services were called, but when they came, she was confused because she didn’t recall yelling.

After this incident, she missed school for a week or so, and not only that, but no one was able to contact her.

We thought she was admitted to a mental hospital or something, that would have made sense, but to everyone’s surprise, she came back days later. And it didn’t look like her- I mean, it was her, it looked like her- But it wasn’t her.

She had this sort of lost and empty stare, as if she was looking right through you, she barely blinked or moved her eyes, and walked in a really stiff manner, barely talked too.

From this moment on, everyone stopped talking to her. She had this creepy, big smile all the time, and she would stare at you in class with her beady blue, wide-open eyes. You could feel her gaze penetrating into your bones… just talking about it I get goosebumps.

Strange things are still happening, not just with Sonia, but all around us. A couple of days ago the local hospital was robbed, but they only took a few bags of blood…

“Vampires? People were talking about a cult, maybe it’s related.” I thought, then I sighed and went to bed.

I had the weirdest dream, I was walking alone, in the middle of the night in one of the hallways of our University, the moonlight was shining through the windows, and at the end of the corridor I could see a red glow coming out of one of the classrooms, I walked towards it.

 I opened the classroom’s door and there she was, Sonia, kneeling on the ground, painting what looked like a giant pentacle with blood… Blood that was coming out of some blood bags from a hospital. Behind her, a weird glowing book, with inscriptions I wasn’t able to decipher.

Sonia was staring at me so intensely, I started hearing whispering voices when suddenly a thoroughly intense pain invaded my chest and head, I couldn’t look away from her penetrating glaze, the voices and pain kept getting more and more intense, I felt despair, I felt like I wanted to kill myself, it felt as if I was in Hell- No, it felt as if Sonia was the impersonation of Hell. "

The next morning, another student passed by their room and the door was wide open, inside, the bed and walls were soaked in blood and guts, as if someone exploded.

When authorities arrived, they realised there was something written in the ceiling with more blood, that something read as “Sonia Hell”.

Kinta is a pretty fancy-looking werewolf, very graceful and snobbish- but a werewolf, nonetheless.

Growing up around her 7 other male siblings made Kinta tough, resilient and independent, but lost most of that once she became an actress, even if her career was brief due to an accident.

That doesn't mean you'll be able to take advantage of her, mind you, she still transforms into a dangerous, uncontrollable creature once a month or so.

Just as Casper, Masha is not a scary or even a mean ghost.

He might be between "here" and "there", an eternity in limbo until he can finally rest in peace, but Masha's pretty chill bout it. Don't get scared by his echo-y voice, he only wants to chit-chat.

Might get a little too touchy and possessive (in the literal sense) when he gets the opportunity, but you'd feel needy too in his situation...

Fi might look fragile, vulnerable, or even naive like any other fairy, but although small, she is pretty bold and has a strong personality.

She might not be able to shapeshift, but can become invisible, create illusions, and deceive just for fun, since Fi's known for being a rather intrusive prankster.

Some have ended up injured because of her pranks, so... be wary.

📓 Meet the Twins 👯

These two hot mommies are actually terrible human beings.

Zanni and Farce are sisters and they love each other, like... a lot. Oh, and you know what else they like a lot? Kids. Unattended kids at funfairs.

Zanni works mainly as a jester but also does "funny" magic tricks, and Farce is an excellent mime, but also a very good acrobat.

What one of them starts, the other finishes.

Farce, as a mime, can materialize anything she mimics. Zanni doesn't have any superpowers but can do wonders with organic matter.

These two are some of my favorite characters. And it's because they are disgusting.

I have a lot of unethical characters that are pretty funny (or that's my point of view anyway), but having a couple of sisters who are deeply into incest, gore and like to hurt kids in their circus plays? That's just how they are, I don't have to like them, no one has to. It's part of making characters.

Bun's belated Valentine's 💘

The last stage in Bun's life.

As you might know she has a superpower, she can regenerate herself rather quickly- and she also feels something rather unique towards this quirk.

I don't want to explain everything- I think the image might already speak for itself but let's just say her "activities" are rather unethical and one day she was (or will be) caught.

She's not crazy, you believe her, right?
