Thing about Army of the Dead is that it’s heavily hinted in one scene that this ending is only one in several different endings in multiple universes and they keep being sent back until Tanaka gets what he wants. Which means that there’s a possibility in some universe somewhere where certain people did not die

I just read Timeline of the Impossible by @ sopses on Ao3 (idrk the acc name I'm so sorry if I'm wrong) and i basically just got the plot for my scifi plot.

Omari Hardwick: Vanderohe falls into at least an affable place with this guy. He starts to understand him in a way and maybe perhaps subconsciously Vanderohe really tests this guy and Dieter just goes toe-to-toe. So there’s the evolution of both each other feeding each other’s self-esteem and then they realize. After a while it goes from affable to man I really like this person. Which is a very underrated word and emotion. A lot of people love people and they don’t like the same people they love. They fall into like and they need each other.
