Audi A3 8V is not only the Facelift version what can have carplay. But also the older Audi A3 8V's with MSTD SD card navigation we can equip with a carplay module. So for this one (with Knokke Le Zoute badge) with MSTD 5.8" screen we installed a carplay/android auto module. By pressing one button it switches over to the carplay/android auto. Using the original buttons of the MMI and showing on the original MMI screen. For this we only use A brand modules. This Audi Q5 8R came in for a good carplay solution. On the MMI 3G or MMI 3GP this is not possible original, so we offered a A-grade carplay module. This is integrated between the MMI, operates with the original screen and using the original MMI buttons. The phone iPhone or Android can be connected wired over USB or wireless (if the phone supports this). When this is done, notifications and music goes over the car speakers. All like it is original for this car made. This can also be done at our workshop! And the other car was an Audi Q5 FY also in for the Audi Smartphone Interface with replacement of the USB port as well.
