#abroadwithacamera I stopped by the #vancouverchristmastree to try and capture it's beauty a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering why some of the lights didn't appear to be working but took some pictures anyway. The more I thought about it, the more appropriate it was that it was partially lit. Over the years, the losses of loved ones has grown and this year in particular has been tough. This tree reminds me that loss is interwoven into the very fabric of life and love. At moments I see the unlit portions first when my heart is heavy with grief.
