TWO MORE MONTHS, PEOPLE!!!
Quick thoughts to follow up after my post on the teaser trailer (SPOILER WARNING!) In honor of March the 22nd…I’ll go for 22 observations/opinions.
1. Slimer’s back!
2. JANINE IN UNIFORM! WITH A BLASTER!
-Definitely a call back to 1) one of the ORIGINAL storyboard designs for the backpack/neutrona wand in the first movie, and 2) the IDW comics when Janine and other “new ‘Busters” take over when the OGs disappear.
3. Definitely another secret society/cult that must’ve worshipped Garraka ( hidden room with the demon’s horns/frozen eyepatch guy that shatters in the supposed flashback scene..?)
4. If that’s Coney Island where the big ice storm is coming ashore…then THAT could very well be a throwback to the RGB episode “Collect Call of Cthulu.”
5. GB’s got a new van! Ecto 1c?
6. Research lab? AWESOME!
7. Big question- what’s the connection between the arrival of Garraka and the red light on the containment unit? Is it coming after GBHQ to get more power (much like Gozer?)
8. OK…James Acaster is NOT a grown Oscar…damn. I’m sure his researcher character is gonna be brilliant though. Poor guy…frostburned hand? Eesh.
9. I REALLY hope they explore more of Callie (and therefore, Egon’s) background story. That scene where Trevor’s in that attic…aw.
10. DRONE TRAP!!! Next level! Fans lost their minds with the RTV…someone will surely try to build a model of a freaking FLYING ghost trap.
11. Modified proton packs? Makes sense now, that thing can FREEZE the positron stream! WHAT!?
12. Grooberson’s driving Ecto 1! F*ck yeah, Paul Rudd!
13. LIBRARY GHOST IS BACK!
14. So how does Kumail Nanjiani’s character come into possession of that mysterious golden orb? I’m still thinking it’s his apartment with the secret door.
15. Imagine being an old time NYC firefighter and seeing men frozen to death, in fear. When did NYFD form, I wonder?
16. Patton Oswalt is the new Ray…love it.
17. Bill Murray…still got it, man.
18. Swear to god that’s his old orange jacket from the first movie.
19. OK…on one hand, Gil and Jason are probably not counting the GB Video Game as part of the canon, and yet, the IDW comic universe IS built on some plot points of the game. So…does the PCOC exist in Frozen Empire? Is Peck mayor? Perish the thought?
20. Bring on the mischievous Mini-Pufts! Evidently some survived the “Summerville Massacre.”
21. PLEASE have Egon’s unknown life history be in the story somewhere, PLEASE Gil and Jason! It’s almost 10 years since the world lost Harold Ramis…PLEASE pay his beloved character some more tribute.
22. I have to admit…I do like Annie Potts back with not just her red hair, but those new blue-frame glasses. Good nod to the animated series, I will bow to that piece of fan service, not sorry.
TWO MORE MONTHS!!!

Hannah Gadsby drops lineup of Netflix special Gender Agenda
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/hannah-gadsby-drops-lineup-of-netflix-special-gender-agenda/
Hannah Gadsby drops lineup of Netflix special Gender Agenda
“The last time Netflix brought this many trans people together, it was for a protest. So, progress,” Hannah Gadsby jokes in their new genderqueer comedy special Gender Agenda.
The Australian comedian signed a big deal with Netflix in 2022, after publicly slamming the streaming service for its handling of celebrity transphobe Dave Chappelle.
But at the time, Hannah, who uses they/them pronouns, had a request: that Netflix create a stand-up special featuring genderqueer comics from around the world.
That project is now titled Gender Agenda, and arrives on Netflix on March 5 with Hannah hosting and a lineup of seven performers.
They are Jes Tom, Alok, Asha Ward, Chloe Petts, DeAnne Smith, Krishna Istha and Mx Dahlia Belle.
Jes Tom has written for queer favourite Our Flag Means Death and recently wrapped the Elliot Page-presented one-person stage show Less Lonely.
Alok headlined the NYC Comedy Festival in 2021, and has appeared in Cara Delevigne’s Planet Sex and Netflix’s Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness.
Asha Ward is best known for being Saturday Night Live‘s youngest-ever writer.
Chloe Petts is currently touring standup show If You Can’t Say Anything Nice.
DeAnne Smith featured in Netflix’s Comedians of the World and is a regular on the Australian comedy festival circuit.
Krishna Istha was a writer for Season 4 of Sex Education and is currently working on a trilogy of performance pieces about trans motherhood.
Mx Dahlia Belle founded the Portland Queer Comedy Festival and took on Dave Chappelle in a high-profile open letter in 2021.
youtube
Hannah Gadsby explains Netflix stand-up special
Hannah Gadsby told Variety, “There is such a wealth of brilliant genderqueer comics out there, but such a dearth of representation on the major streaming services.
“Meanwhile jokes about trans people are becoming more and more lucrative.
“So it seems only right that at least some of those jokes be told by actual trans people themselves.
“I am beyond thrilled to bring this lineup together, showcasing seven extraordinarily talented comics and to use my platform (and Netflix’s…) to hopefully help catapult them into the spotlight that they deserve.
“They (and I mean ‘they’ in every sense of the word) are some of the funniest, smartest genderqueer comedians from around the globe, and it was an utter delight and true honor to share the stage with them.”
Back home, Hannah’s new solo stand-up show Woof! tours Sydney and Melbourne in March and April.

Note: The show notes and the story synopsis are not final, this is just currently what I have in mind. Just not that I thought that Rogers: The Musical in Hawkeye was cringe and I want this to be an Avengers musical with a much higher quality.
Assassins In Love (An Avengers Musical)
Production Notes:
The story and the production design will incorporate elements from the comics, in particular the 616 timeline, but there will be references to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. References to the Avengers Assemble and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoons are very welcome. The goal of the production is to be fan service in good taste, but in such a way that non-fans can also enjoy it. Action scenes/language/sensuality will be kept at the PG-13 level.
The songs will be in the style of classic Broadway and Disney musical numbers, with touches of hip-hop and big band jazz. The superheroes and villains in their fight scenes will wear bright, colorful costumes based on their comic book and film counterparts.
The majority of the story takes place in 2010s New York City. Scenes with flashbacks and travel to other places can be depicted with lighting and stage effects.
Genres: Action, Romance, Romantic Comedy, Suspense, Spy thriller
Characters:
Starring Characters: Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
Supporting female characters: Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Maria Hill, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch
Pepper Potts appears at the party in Act I and in the Finale
Supporting Male characters: Steve Rogers/Captain America and Sam Wilson/Falcon; Tony Stark/Iron Man, Nick Fury, Phil Coulson, and of course Clint Barton/Hawkeye
Villains: Alexander Pierce/Red Skull and Madame B from the Red Room; Kingpin also appears briefly in Act II
Avengers Chorus: Vision, Thor, Bruce Banner/Hulk, Scott Lang/Ant-man and Hope Van Dyne/Wasp; Doctor Strange; Peter Parker/Spider-man, Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver; Rhodey/War Machine
Villain Chorus (for opening Avengers battle): Including but not limited to Loki, Baron Mordo, Mysterio, Doc Ock, Whiplash, and Zemo
Extras: NYC Civilians, SHIELD/Hydra agents
Clint Barton’s family from the MCU will be mentioned throughout the play and appear in the finale
Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter will have a romance that parallels and foils Bucky and Natasha’s relationship; they will be a couple by the end of the show.
Story Synopsis
ACT I:
Prologue—(The prologue will be depicted in a montage of scenes and dances with minimal dialogue).
Steve Rogers/Captain America and Bucky Barnes were best friends and fought side-by-side in World War II. At the end of the war, Captain America goes missing and Bucky is captured by Hydra. Red Skull turns Bucky into the Winter Soldier and uses him as an assassin to enforce Hydra’s agenda.
Meanwhile in Russia, the Red Room headed by Madame B trains young girls to be assassins but incorporates ballet into their program. Young Natasha Romanoff is one of the best pupils in the Red Room. Red Skull and Madame B arrange to have the Winter Soldier train with teenaged Natasha.
In modern times, Captain America returns. He fights the Winter Soldier only to discover that his opponent is his long-lost friend Bucky. Bucky goes into hiding.
Present Day
The Avengers save New York City from a team of supervillains. After the battle, Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff have a personal chat. Steve is adjusting to the modern world. However, ever since his encounter with the Winter Soldier he suspects that Hydra could be building in secret. He is also looking for Bucky but so far the search is fruitless. Natasha Romanoff is content with her existence as an Avenger, but she wonders if she can ever have a normal life and do something besides be an assassin. Sam Wilson arrives to tell Steve that Bucky has turned up.
At the headquarters of SHIELD, Director Nick Fury suspects that Hydra is rising again and warns Phil Coulson and Maria Hill to be on the lookout. Hydra is, in fact, operating under Fury’s nose, led by the Red Skull disguised as Alexander Pierce. Pierce works in a high-profile position at SHIELD. Madame B pays Pierce a visit, and together they plot to destroy the Avengers and help Hydra take over the world. Throughout the play, Madame B is in the background of various crowded scenes, spying on the characters.
After spending months in hiding, Bucky Barnes is in Brooklyn, his and Steve’s childhood home. Bucky is living in the streets while trying to remember his past and put his Winter Soldier days behind him. Steve Rogers finds Bucky and offers him material help. After some persuasion and argument, Steve gets Bucky to move in with him and Sam. Steve also invites Bucky to a party that night being thrown by Tony Stark.
Tony Stark throws a party at the Avengers Tower in Manhattan. While the other guests enjoy the party, Bucky sees Natasha Romanoff from across the crowded room. He remembers her from the Red Room. Natasha sees Bucky also, and she recognizes him. They meet and they talk briefly.
A few days after the party, she goes to Central Park and she sees Bucky again. They discuss their shared past.
Steve gets Bucky a job at SHIELD as a super-agent. For his first assignment, Bucky is sent out with Natasha Romanoff. It is at this point that Bucky recognizes that he has a growing romantic attraction to her.
ACT II:
Bucky has a hard time hiding his feelings for Natasha from the other Avengers. The Avengers and their coworkers at SHIELD believe that Natasha might like him back, but she is in denial. Nick Fury sends Bucky and Natasha undercover to a party in Manhattan hosted by Kingpin. Natasha and Bucky dance together at the party, and then they fight Kingpin’s thugs and arrest the crime magnate.
After the party, Natasha and Bucky frequently go on assignments together, but they also start seeing each other outside of work. Bucky is unsure about where to take his relationship with Natasha. He goes to Steve for advice, and as they reminisce about old times, they rekindle their former friendship. Later, Bucky summons up his personal courage and he tells Natasha that he loves her. They start ‘officially’ dating as a couple, but Madame B is spying on them. Maria Hill, however, is in turn spying on Madame B. Hill tips off Fury that Hydra is going to make their move.
Natasha rented an apartment in Manhattan (furnished by SHIELD) for an ongoing assignment and she is staying there while she and Bucky are dating. Madame B breaks into Natasha’s apartment while she is getting ready for a date with Bucky. Natasha is overpowered and tied to a chair. Then Madame B disguises herself as Natasha and she goes out and captures Bucky.
The Avengers receive Nick Fury’s call for help and they ‘Assemble’ to take out Hydra. Sharon Carter makes a phone call to Natasha and learns that Natasha has been captured and that Bucky is being lured into a trap. While the Avengers go to save Bucky, Natasha attacks her guards and frees herself to go join the Avengers.
When the Avengers come to rescue Bucky, Alexander Pierce reveals himself to them as Red Skull. There is a battle between the Avengers and the Hydra sleeper agents. Natasha arrives, and during the combat she and Bucky steal several moments to ask each other if they are all right. Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes take turns fighting the Red Skull. Red Skull attempts to set off a bomb, but Natasha disables it. Bucky kills Red Skull. Madame B and the other Hydra agents are arrested. Bucky asks Natasha to marry him and she says yes.
Finale: The Avengers throw a big wedding for Bucky and Natasha.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (the T), Greater Boston, Massachusetts, United States vs Worcester Regional Transit Authority, Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States
MBTA:
First subway line in North America! Fairly functional for what we ask it to do! Boston has a sort of ethereal and grungy magic which you can observe deep underneath downtown crossing.
very helpful when in boston with no car. better than nyc's subway and i say this as a new yorker
As someone who lives in rural America, it’s the only public transport I’ve ever been on and I love going on it so so much. autism loves transportation
It might be the second-best public-transit system in the United States.
WRTA: According to Wikipedia, "the WRTA is the second largest regional transit authority and third largest transit system in Massachusetts." It also "currently provides fixed route bus service to Worcester, and the surrounding towns of Auburn, Brookfield, East Brookfield, Leicester, Millbury, Oxford, Shrewsbury, Southbridge, Spencer, Webster, West Boylston. In addition to its fixed route bus service, the WRTA provides Community Shuttle Flex Van Service (limited shuttle service) to Grafton, Northbridge, and Westborough. The WRTA also provides paratransit service to a total of 37 communities in Central Massachusetts." It's also free until June 2024!

Massive container ship loses power near NYC’s Verrazzano Bridge days after Baltimore Key Bridge disaster
A massive container ship lost power in the waters around New York City and came to a rest near the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge Saturday night — less than two weeks after failure on another massive cargo vessel caused it to collapse Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge.
The US Coast Guard confirmed that its Vessel Traffic Service received a report that the 89,000-ton M/V Qingdao lost propulsion about 8:30 p.m. as it traversed Kill Van Kull waterway — the shipping lane between Staten Island and Bayonne, New Jersey.
An image shared on X by John Konrad, CEO of maritime-focused news outlet gCaptain, shows the 1,100-foot Qingdao floating uncomfortably close to the span that connects Brooklyn and Staten Island.

From Dreams to a Nightmare | Para
Featuring: Fletcher & Gerry Van Hall; mentions of Xavier Mitchell and others Location: Manhattan streets, New York City, NY Time Frame: Early morning, April 26, 2024 Notes: Allusions to homophobia (or bi/panphobia in Flavier's case)
Fletcher was still in the afterglow of his and Xavier's extensive fucking and love-making the night before. Xavier wanted to be worn out and Fletcher quite literally rose to the challenge–before and after their room service arrived. He was glad to see Xavier still sleeping for once when he himself had woken up. He'd decided to go get them some coffee and bagels and carefully left the bed to pull on his sweats and a hoodie, not bothering with a shirt underneath. Once his shoes were on and he double-checked that his copy of the room key was still in his wallet. He pocketed it with his phone, dropped a tender kiss on Xavier's temple, and then texted him so he'd know where he'd gone in case Xavier had woken up while he was gone.
Fletcher checked his phone and confirmed there was a shop not too far from the hotel. While most of his thoughts were on Xavier at the present, a small part of him was thinking about how strange it had been to be back in NYC. It had been close to 30 years since he'd last been anywhere near any of the 5 boroughs. Plenty had changed and yet it never really was home for him. He'd come to grips with that years ago.
Or so he thought.
He'd picked out four bagels and some plain cream cheese containers for them, along with two orders of coffee and two orders of orange juice. And after setting some sugar packets abs creamer cups in the middle of the drink carrier, he started back to the hotel. He'd just rounding the corner of the hotel to the front doors when he heard a voice he hadn't expected to hear coming from a few paces behind him.
“So you are staying here after all, huh, son?”
Fletcher stopped dead in his tracks. How had he not seen him? And how in the hell did he know he was here or where he was st–
“Drew told you I was here, didn't he?” he asked, turning hia head only slightly.
“Yeah. But I see my brother hasn't told you how to properly address him. You just calling him ‘Drew’ and all.”
Fletcher's grip tightened on the paper bag holding the bagels and cream cheese. He turned around fully and faced his father, eyes full of contempt. “He taught me more than you did, so I suggest you keep your unwanted critiques to your fucking self, old man.”
Gerry Van Hall stared at his adult son with the same dark brown eyes and the same unfriendly scowl. Fletcher was taller than him but with the small distance between them, it didn't make much of a difference. Gerry, meanwhile shifted uncomfortably but maintained his unfriendly gaze. “Don't know why I listened to him,” he muttered under his breath.
“Speak up. I know you didn't come over here just to mutter shit about me.”
“I said I don't know why I listened to him,” Gerry forced out, his voice curt. “My brother's holding out hope for something that's never gonna happen. Obviously.” He gestured between himself and Fletcher and then shook his head.
“Then why did you come?” Fletcher challenged.
“I wanted to see-... I mean, I heard you were seeing someone and when Drew wouldn't tell me who, instead he told me you were here and I should ask you for myself.” He looked around as though Fletcher's significant other was hiding behind him and would suddenly pop out and introduce themself. But he looked up at the hotel's multiple stories and mused, “Must be someone really special if you're staying here with her.”
Fletcher rolled his eyes but corrected. “Him. And yes, he is special.”
Gerry's eyes snapped back to his son, “What?”
Speaking up and with intentional enunciation, Fletcher replied, “I said ‘Him. And yes, he is special.’”
Eyes narrowing, Gerry stepped to Fletcher, “You mean to tell me you're a-...you're dating a-...”
“A Brit? A celebrity? Yes, he's those things,” Fletcher cut in. “I'm a what? Finish whatever dumbass thing you were gonna say.”
“Don't you get smart with me, boy.”
Fletcher barked a mirthless laugh, “‘Boy’? Listen I know you gave up on parenting me a long time ago so your memory's probably failing you worse than you failed me. But I'm not a boy, so let's get clear on that right fuckin now.” Fletcher stepped to Gerry this time. “And fuck you for trying to sound all parental now–like you give a damn about how I live my life, what my relationship with my uncle is like or who I choose to love.”
Gerry looked like he might choke on his own tongue. “You love-... My God you really are a f-”
“YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP,” Fletcher roared, very nearly dropping all 4 drinks. He dared to step even closer to Gerry as he lowered. “I already know you get tabs on me through Drew. If that's how you wanna maintain a relationship with me–through him? Fine. You wanna judge me for who I am? Fuck you for it but fine. Just don't come looking for me to lay all that at my feet. You can turn the hell around and do that shit somewhere else. I'll go back to not losing a goddammit wink of sleep over you. And if me being in love with another man bothers you? You can die mad about it because that shit's not changing. Not anytime soon, and not ever if I'm lucky enough.”
Gerry stood in horrified shock, opening and then shutting his mouth several times over.
Fletcher, still glowering turned on his heels and spat, “I'll say it again in case you have a hard time processing shit the first time. The man up there?” He pointed up at the hotel and then got in his father's face. “I love him. I fucking love him. And for some reason he loves me too. I love his family and he loves mine–the family that loves me and chooses to be in my life. So that doesn't include you or your wife. And if right now tells me anything, it's that that won't change.”
Gerry scowled as a few beats of silence passed between them before he asked, “So, what? You gonna take a swing at me?” He was almost certain Fletcher would. He could see it in his son’s eyes.
“You deserve it and then some. But why am I gonna give your unworthy ass something you're clearly asking for?”
Had this been 20, 10, maybe even 1 year ago, he would have done it and not given a damn about the consequences. But now he had more to think of. He had to think before he rose to the occasion and dropped the bagel bag to relieve some anger all over Gerry's face. His outrage had almost hit a fever pitch but when he tightened his grip on the drink carrier, he thought of Phoebe. Of Drew. Of Xavier, Henry and Winter, and remembered himself again.
Drawing in a slow breath in his flared nostrils, Fletcher glared at the coffee cups, telling himself that he refused to let this visit be ruined by Gerry's appearance at the hotel. He wouldn't do that to Xavier. He'd need to take all of this up to their room but he'd do his best to calm down as much as he possibly could.
He had to.
“God, I can't even look at you anymore. You're such a goddamn disappointment. Still.”
Gerry tried to call him back but Fletcher stalked off, into the hotel without another backward glance.

I just finished Joel Osteen Peaceful on purpose and rule your day two very thin books probably 100 pages book that you could breeze through going to read it again it is a easy book and I'm asking all New Yorkers to read it share it and to use it in our daily interactions with each other it will help develop a new mindset and you can enjoy your day on your way home or to work with a victorious mindset and behavior live a life of victory and don't forget to start a book club and add on Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer in your book list in your book bag if you are a student or purse and pockets on your way to exercise .

Book of the month Joel Osteen empty out the negative it means let go of the negative influences and negative people in your life that hold you back with me is to get these tyrants and puppet masters off of me and truly live the message that Joel Osteen is preaching I just read some of it from chapter 2 to 4 and wonder can I be let go of please if you other than a person that follow his message in that please let me go so I could live my life and yeah it could save your life Don't feed on poisons chapter 3 to 4 is good for you unclog your heart drink water and do light exercise just walking is a start but also clean out out your inside as well from the filthy anxiety look at the definition of anxiety , the hurting people feelings and blocking my path in my life if their is book that will save a life it would be this one book in fact get his whole collection I got all his books , Joyce Meyer and Victoria Osteen books I kinda teach now to get the voodoo and mind control off of me I don't want to think like my enemy about myself , no thanks read the book and change your life .
According to Social Psychology people and your environment make you who you are and I'm against that especially if your from an environment where people are hateful towards you verbal abusive and telling you that is the best that life has to offer you no their is a better life for you I want a new kind of community and environment it is people like me that change where we live and put the people and our community on the right path call it a new social psychology thinking like my pastor Joyce Meyer or Joel Osteen and Victoria Osteen about me and other people I only have good things for you in my heart and your future . I truly believe you have to reeducate the people and teach them to build the kingdom of God on this earth 🌍 the Muslims do try but they needed help and plus it is effecting me and my mental health and physical health and I have to speak out against it so read the book empty out the negative by Joel Osteen their books and live it out you got it from me , thank you and remember nature can be changed by nurture and nourishing yourself with love and a good education you can change your life and be successful you heard it from me you can be anything you want to be and beat any disease and incurable illness of the mind and the body especially now with the cure for HIV Aids and be freed from the curse of the death of the spirit through spiritually depressed neighborhoods read the book and love your friends family and even the stranger on the street with your words behavior and attitudes , thank you let's practice social psychology together in a better way take this words home and practice them instead of creating social schizophrenics mumbling and talking to themselves in self hatred and living less than their best potential lets treat each other better and want the best for each other each human and race period that is how it is suppose to be on this planet .
