Not much recently, but I'll share a few details about both aus (that I might of not mentioned before but probably have like once)

Mechanical fangs au:

Vamptrap doesn't know how to control his strength, and ends up breaking a lot of things in general, intentional or not

He's also definitely tried to use food delivery services to get blood people to his castle more easily. He's blacklisted from most restaurants and delivery services because of this

His fangs are meant to extract blood to use it as energy, but that won't stop him from licking it up as well

Bc of the whole remnant thing, not only is he sentient but he's also has some organic parts in his body, mainly just random organs tho

Dark fortress au:

Vamptrap has a big fucking ego and loves stroking it

He has more classic vampire traits, such as hypnosis

He probably was William at one point, but is corpseless inside

Still fleshing out dark fortress, so suggestions are appreciated!!

The moment he stepped inside, and you shut the door behind him, you watched as the rabbit’s form changed.

He’d been in his disguised form—and as Vamptrap reverted to his real form, you smiled a little bit.

“Evening, dear.” Vamptrap murmured, ears twitching.

You hummed, and turned around. “I didn’t think you’d be coming tonight.”

As you’d started to walk off, Vamptrap remained by your side, smiling. His gaze was still attached to you—but every so often, he’d take a look around.

“You thought so?” The rabbit tilted his head. “Why, I’ll always have enough time in these nights to see you. You’re worth it.”

You weren’t quite sure how to respond that—and simply smiled at him. The two of you continued walking.

As you did so, you realized something. Vamptrap had put his cape over you. It felt quite nice.

Finally, you sat down, and Vamptrap did so, too. As you looked at him, it seemed as if there was something on his mind.

23. Draw my fave as a vampire

I guess fave is my favourite character, and I have a lot of them so have Springtrap as one of my favourites!

I saw some people draw Vamptrap, maybe I should try too! ( in my design)

He is more like a wild animal, not a goth prince-

I think he has rabies, don’t..get..too close..

The dead leaves crunch under your boots as you wander aimlessly through the pitch black forest. You had lost the dirt road hours ago, along with your good friend Michael. Mike heard rumors about a creature roaming the woods at night and wanted to check it out, but reasonably didn’t want to go alone. You thought you had seen something off the path and decided to investigate, but you couldn’t find it. Next thing you knew you were lost in the dark undergrowth of the woods. 

Cicadas buzz in the distance, and ravens and owls keep to themselves in the trees. It was mostly quiet, almost too peaceful. You try your best to avoid roots and thorny bushes as you search for the way back, but eventually a root snags your foot. Your eyes shut as you brace yourself for the fall, but it's interrupted halfway. You feel a soft yet cold hand clamp down on your wrist, keeping you from falling face first into the thorns. As you’re pulled up back to your feet, you look up into the stranger’s eyes. You’re met with a pair of bright yellow eyes looming above you. From what you can make out in the darkness, he had to be at least 8 feet tall. 

He speaks in a deep, soothing voice, “Hello, what brings you out on a beautiful night like this?”

As you explained to him how you had gotten separated from your friend, you noticed that his hand hadn’t let go of yours since he caught your fall. Despite the darkness, he seemed to be watching your every movement as you fumble with your words.

“Well, I think I saw a young man walking by earlier. Would you like me to walk you to him?” The tall, shadowy figure offers.

“Sure, lead the way.” You sigh. You really didn’t have much of a choice. It was either getting more lost or letting this stranger lead you back to civilization. He keeps his firm grasp on your hand as he leads you through the woods, which seemed to get more dense as time went on. You couldn’t help but feel wary of him, it felt more like he was luring you somewhere with the promise of reuniting you with your friend. You decided that some questions needed to be asked.

“Who are you?”

“You may call me Springtrap, and what is your na–”

“Why are you out here?”

He stops walking, pausing as if to choose his words correctly.

“I was just enjoying a nightly stroll.”

You could tell he was lying. Nobody goes this deep in the forest for a walk, let alone at night.

Minutes later, he leads you to a large clearing. Stars speckle the dark canvas of a sky, with the full moon being the center of it all. As the two of you step into the moonlight, its silver glow reveals your escort. He was a tall, animatronic rabbit with long fangs and was wearing a black cloak. Behind him in the distance stands an old stone castle that looked abandoned and no Michael in sight. 

Before you can speak up, his arm wraps around your chest while his free hand clasps over your mouth. He holds you to his chest as he walks backwards to what you could only assume was this horrible thing’s lair. He grumbles in annoyance as you kick and thrash in his grip in an attempt to break free. After minutes of you flailing as he slowly tries to drag you away, he groans in annoyance as he moves his hand from your lips down to your chin. He tilts your head up to meet his gaze, and you can’t bring yourself to look away. His eyes were oddly soothing to look at, putting your mind at ease. All the different shades of yellow, gold, and orange in his eyes blended beautifully together. You can’t move your body to fight back as he scoops you up with ease. Your mind feels fuzzy as he walks to the castle, and the last thing you hear before you black out is a deep purr coming from his chest.

What happened in the past with Mechanical Fangs Vamptrap? 👀 Because you mentioned in another/separate post about stuff with healing and everything—like a major part for him (like getting to trust Y/N)

William built vamptrap to kill and extract remnant, and nothing else. Vamptrap spent most of his early years of existence being strapped to a table and mostly alone, except for when William came in to work on his project. When he eventually escapes soon after William is arrested for murder, he goes into hiding into the woods, and only ever interacted with society when he had to hunt for blood to keep him running

When he meets y/n he has to slowly learn it's okay to be vulnerable around some people and all that stuff ig. And also how to control his strength

I don’t know if this was mentioned already and I just haven’t found anything for it, but with Mechanical Fangs, how did Y/N and that Vamptrap actually meet and all that?

Mike is a paranormal investigator in this AU, and hears about disappearances in the woods, and goes out at night to look around. He convinces y/n to join him after they lose their job and move back to town.

While exploring they get separated/lost from each other and y/n accidentally stumbles into vamptrap. They do manage to fight him off and scare him away tho

How would you rank your springtraps from least to most aggressive?

Oh this is a good one. I’m gonna kinda interpret it as “how they behave” and not necessarily “your chance of dying.” That could probably be it's own ranking.

from Least -> Most aggressive

Mothtrap - basically 0 aggressive instincts; just a fluffy guy; war-ready mothtrap is his own little thing, though I wouldn’t call him aggressive, it’d just be preemptively on edge for combat; he's far and away to most agreeable overall, the graph is not proportional

Vamptrap - bit of a complicated placement, since you’d really only be interacting with him if you were in his castle, and he might just kill you for that alone; however, it would be very rare for something to make him actually lose his composure, so I’d still consider him “not aggressive” by that metric; he gets pretty feral while eating, but I also wouldn’t count that

Jack-O-trap - ironically, don’t really think he’s the most hot-headed; will definitely blow up at something, it’s just that he plays things off in more of a sly way than an aggressive one half of the time

“Canon” Springtrap - guy’s got issues, past, present, and future, so he does frequently act out based on emotion, but he tends to be more annoyed/upset overall; it kind of depends on how long after him waking up that you’re interacting with him; plenty of aggro moments, it’s just that he’ll also be sad or conflicted

Disney Villain Springtrap - very "one end of the spectrum or the other” when it comes to if he’s being aggressive or not, which he normally is; could pull a sweet-talking act, very manipulative, but always short-fused and wants his way

ERRORtrap - almost constantly in complete savage mode, more than half of the time just being animalistic; whenever he [rarely] isn’t, he’s still unstable and, more often than not, difficult to talk to

I’ve kinda been thinking about, like, a master post with some stuff about the alts? I feel it could be nice to have just to be able to point people to if they’re curious

I wanna ask more about the vampire Springtraps, both aus are wonderful! So with differences between the Springtraps, how would they go about getting their blood needs met? Would they kidnap people, hunt for people, find willing thralls? Would they keep their preferred blood donors/victims alive? How would that work? Also kinda wanna willingly give them my blood if they wanna take care of me too. Also can either one turn people into vampires? Also if for some reason the two of them met, au shenanigans, would they get along or fight?

Mf vamptrap would just go around the woods and bite the first person he sees, meanwhile DF vamptrap has options. He's probably had a thrall or two in the past, but his main source is from hunting or from the blood stored in his cellar (tho there is a certain self insert who's blood he prefers over all else ;3)(also nobody knows where he gets his cellar blood lmao)

If you were to offer your blood to either one of them, DF vamptrap wouldn't immediately be all affectionate and caring. It'd take more than one feeding to win him over. MF vamptrap is desperate for any positive interactions and would shower ya with kisses and such

Mf vamptrap is more artificial and such and can't turn ppl into vampires, but DF vamp can

And if the two met? Lot's of chaos and fighting. DF would see his counterpart as competition and MF would be scared shitless
