Vampire Atsumu
Since I made demon suna and ghost akaashi, and it's spooky season, I think it's fair to try to write something about my other blorbos as fantasy creatures
-
You knock at his door, leaning on the wall while you wait for atsumu to let you come in.
It doesn't take a lot before the door opens, you're greeted by a pair of golden eyes and a playful smirk. You just invite yourself in, not in the mood for your usual banter.
"Don't you even wait for me to let you in? How rude", atsumu says pretending to be offended.
"Are you jealous I can do that and you can't?", you make a pouty face.
"Do you really think that making fun of me is the smartest decision?", he raises an eyebrow.
"I'm just teasing you, miya", you take a step closer, "I thought you liked playing with food".
You should feel intimidated, scared. Atsumu is taller than you, gifted with large shoulders and strong hands. His clothes hide his muscles, but you knew what was underneath, you've seen his naked torso many times at this point.
You should be scared, you should be terrified. Instead you're just mocking the big bad wolf, inviting yourself in his lair, waiting to be devoured.
"It's not fun if you're not scared, pretty", atsumu says while walking towards his bedroom, running his hand through his blonde hair. You follow him, taking off your jacket.
"Why should I be scared?", you huff, "We've done this before and here I am".
"So", you sit on the bed, "what can I offer you this time?", you ask looking at him. You can't decipher what's going on in his head, but you try to maintain your calm expression. "I'd prefer if you could avoid biting my wrist this time, it hurt".
Atsumu gives you an apologetic smile and then he's on you.
You find yourself with your back pressed to the mattress, his weight on you, it would be nice, almost comforting, if only his body wasn't so cold. For a second a shiver travels down your spine, you swallow the noises that are trying to escape your mouth.
"I'm sorry", the blonde murmurs while leaving a trail of kisses down your neck.
"Don't be", you smooth your palms over his back, "just don't drain me...and make me some food for when I wake up", you add.
He leaves your neck to look at your eyes, a serious expression grazes his face, such a rare sight, you think to yourself.
"You know you can trust me, right?".
"I know", you feel your face getting warmer under his stare.
He gives you a kiss, big hands caressing your sides, then finding your hands and giving them a gentle squeeze. Then his lips are again on your neck. You close your eyes, preparing yourself.
For a second you feel a sharp pain, his fangs tearing your soft skin. It doesn't last long, but it's enough for tears to blurry your vision, a cry leaving your mouth.
You squeeze his hands harder, feeling your heart beating inside your ears, your body spasming in sign of protest.
Then it stops. Everything slowly become hazier, your body feels a little bit more numb every second. Your hands slowly release atsumu's, your lids feel heavy, before you can realize it you're fast asleep.

like a dog with a bird at your door; sakuatsu
vampire!atsumu, hunter!kiyoomi, angst, hopeful/happy ending, enemies(?) to lovers, relationship analysis
motoya is kidnapped by a vampire coven. as kiyoomi leaves his apartment to save him he is confronted by atsumu
word count: 1340
warnings: unaliving word mentioned, potentially graphic imagery, swearing
a/n: this was in my drafts for two years y'all, i finally had to get it out. pls yell your thoughts!
“Omi-kun.”
His name, breathed into the stale living room air, floats like a golden ribbon and wraps itself around him. Strangling.
“Don’t do this.”
A scoff, “This doesn’t concern you, Miya.”
Kiyoomi is tense, muscles held taut and stiff. He knows this because of the sheer effort it takes to crouch and pull the packed duffle bag out from below his bed.
He knows this like he knows many things; he knows that this is a suicide mission. He knows that there’s actually a pretty high chance of him not returning. But Motoya is waiting for him, sitting in a basement fifteen kilometres west of Osaka, and Kiyoomi cannot waste any more time.
Duffle in his grasp, he tries to push past the blonde but is stopped by an outstretched hand.
(Don’t stare at it. Ignore the broad palm, the long fingers—)
“Of course it does, Omi,” Atsumu huffs. Clearly, he does not share this feeling of urgency. Then again, Atsumu is consistent in following his trend of being selectively bothersome, slipping through Kiyoomi’s unlocked bedroom window at the most inconvenient of times.
“Doubtful, Miya. I need to leave–”
“Kiyoomi think this through. Komori-kun’s put up the same ward that I’ve seen you use, right? He’s been gone for only three hours so you have nine more to get there. What good are you doing running over without proper backup?”
“You’ve seen the video, have you not? He’s surrounded and we both know that the coven is only gaining support the longer I wait.” An abrupt laugh makes him pause.
Kiyoomi stares.
“I can’t let you do this. You won’t come–”
“Fuck off Miya, don’t concern yourself with me.”
“Kiyoomi, please,” he begins to raise his voice. “This is a suicide mission! As your–”
“Miya, fuck off. Would you please shut up about your stupid soulmate crap, I don’t want to hear it.” Kiyoomi interrupts brazenly, thoughtlessly, and oh...
(Fuck. That’s not true.)
Now it’s Atsumu’s turn to stare. His face goes blank and he exhales deeply, unflinching.
The statement holds greater weight than either of them want to admit; has an intricately woven, three-year-long story of desire and denial.
Of course, Kiyoomi had to say it now of all times; he had to let the cruel words spill through his lips like poisonous venom leaving a predator's fangs as it bites into an unassuming victim. That’s really what Atsumu is in this situation; a mere victim of fate.
And shit, that’s really not what he meant to say.
(Kiyoomi knows he’s cold, but he never means to be callous.)
This delicate line that they walk, this balancing act of feigned ignorance and a purposefully undefined relationship is now jeopardized by Kiyoomi’s tactless words.
Prior to their fated meeting seven months ago, Kiyoomi had heard plenty of the blonde he now stares at; had picked up whispers of his sadistic tendencies, the way he chased and toyed with his desperate prey before they collapsed from either fear or exhaustion—to remind them of the existence of true predators.
(Atsumu has been nothing but gentle.)
Kiyoomi entered this unyielding game that day they met. But maybe this time it isn’t the prey that suffers. Or maybe it is, and the roles are just reversed. He doesn’t know. What he does know is that this chase is exhausting both parties involved.
(So why do you play, Kiyoomi?)
Atsumu pivots and exits the room, leaving Kiyoomi nothing to do but follow him through the small, dark apartment. He sees Atsumu leaning against the front door, seemingly lost in thought.
It’s always been like this between them. Push and pull and push and pull and push and pull and push until Kiyoomi pulled twice.
First when he left his window unlocked, as usual, knowing that he was practically welcoming Atsumu with open arms. And then the second time when he ended this stalemate by reminding them both that he will not acknowledge whatever corrupt soulmate bond has been manufactured between them by the gods.
Kiyoomi ponders how to further approach the situation, if, at all, when Atsumu smiles.
“You know, you’re right, Omi-kun. ”
And oh my god Atsumu is willing to overlook this fatal error Kiyoomi made; is willing to grab his hand and bring him back to the line on which they’d tread and pretend that Kiyoomi hadn’t just tossed them both into the abyss with nothing to grab to slow their descent.
This is a complete act of mercy. One that Kiyoomi is almost willing to accept—he does have to leave and save Motoya, after all—but the pained expression, bottom lip turned white from the press of teeth, makes him pause and reassess.
(He’s not callous. He really doesn’t mean to be cruel.)
Why does his chest suddenly feel so tight, as though a tiny hole inside of it expanded, threatening to collapse him from the inside out?
For all their pushing and pulling and maintenance of balance, it has never been a truly equal game between them. It was always Atsumu who suffered just a bit more.
Because humans cannot feel the soulmate connection; do not have the acute sensitivity required to feel the warmth of specific touches, the allure of particular smells, or even the special awareness that comes in the form of an invisible pulling—yearning manifested—that connects the supernatural species to their other half.
They are not meant to have soulmates and thus do not share the absolute reverence that the vampire kind has for it. This respect—so deep—allows a small, painful love to form in the cracks between two individuals, enemies by nature, binding Kiyoomi to Atsumu and Atsumu to Kiyoomi, with Atsumu feeling the connection just a little bit more.
This leaves Kiyoomi suffering the guilt of sentencing rejection and yet permitting a distant closeness that tempts him with a love he refuses to accept cannot have.
(Isn’t he lonely?)
And Atsumu, the willing recipient, is always content to accept whatever Kiyoomi gives him, never asking for more. With this, he shows his love is constant.
Kiyoomi considers this. Inhales. Exhales. Thinks. Reexamines his previous stance on ignoring the small and soft burning he feels inside himself around Atsumu, as though he swallowed a match that stayed lit inside of him.
(Butterflies, maybe?)
Nothing in life is certain save for death and taxes and the bond that ties estranged souls like theirs together until the first certainty separates them again.
How unfortunate Atsumu is, to have a soulmate like Kiyoomi. He deserves an act of mercy.
Kiyoomi looks up to speak, but Atsumu doesn’t face him anymore. He has never wanted to see the vampire’s wicked grin so badly, sharp canines digging into a full lower lip—threatening, tantalizing. He’d even settle for the infuriating smirk that never fails to make him want to absolutely punch Atsumu in the mouth. With his own mouth, preferably. Softly, perhaps.
(Reach out. Say something, Kiyoomi.)
A soulmate bond between a vampire and a human is unheard of. Maybe this means something, that they have such a connection.
Kiyoomi sighs, placing his duffle gently on the floor. Motoya can wait an extra few minutes.
“Say it, Omi-kun. I want to hear you say it.”
“I love you, Atsumu.”
And Atsumu does know this. He knows it in the way Kiyoomi sits on rooftops, placing himself always right of centre so that Atsumu can complete their souls’ symmetry and mirror him on the left. He knows it in the way Kiyoomi has never once made a move against his life regardless of his reputation for being merciless to vampires, never meeting one he didn’t kill. He knows it in the way Kiyoomi leaves his bedroom window unlocked.
He feels it in the way Kiyoomi is now letting him come close, he himself leaning in. He feels it in Kiyoomi’s breath against his lips. In the soulmate warmth that only he can feel but would do anything to share.
Atsumu won’t complain though. Because Kiyoomi allowing him to feel that warmth is far beyond enough.

Fun fluffy animes that I loved
This is basically a list of animes that helps get over or deal with the trauma inflicted by various animes. At the moment, I guess fellow JJK fans might need this, and prolly AOT fans on November 5. Have fun watching
Haikyuu
Tumblr media
Short Synopsis: Determined to be like the volleyball championship's star player nicknamed "the small giant", Shoyo joins his school's volleyball club.
Episodes: 85 + 5 OVA
The worst thing that can possibly happen is either the 3rd year students graduating or you being unable to support a specific team (nah cuz bro how do you pick and root for one? I end up being happy for the team that won and depressed for the team that lost)
Two movies are coming up soon
Highschool Babysitters
Tumblr media
Synopsis: After the sudden death of their parents on a plane crash, two young brothers named Ryūichi Kashima (a freshman in high school) and his younger brother Kotarō (a preschooler) are left orphaned and having no place to call home. The chairwoman of the prestigious Morinomiya Academy offers to take the boys into her care, giving them a new house and free tuition, on the condition that Ryuichi helps out with the school's daycare center while also attending normal classes during school hours.
Episodes: 12 + 1 OVA
Note: Plane crash seems sad but trust me, its only mentioned in the first episode, and the rest 11 is just fluffy goodness. Nothing can prepare you for the cuteness.
Cells At Work
Tumblr media
Synopsis: One newcomer red blood cell just wants to do her job. Between bacteria incursions and meeting a certain white blood cell, she's got a lot to learn.
Episodes: 31 + 7
A good mix of science and entertainment. The episodes dont have to be watched in any specific order.
Mr. Osomatsu
Tumblr media
Synopsis: The everyday lives of identical sextuplets who cause mischief.
Episodes: 75 + special eps + movies
Has a good amount of 18+ jokes, but its not too overwhelming. It doesnt necessarily follow a plot, and each episode is usually two different stories combined. So, skipping episodes should be fine. Also, it features very popular voice actors for the sextuplets (Geto's VA, Gojo's VA, Levi's VA, Koro sensei's VA, Erwin's VA and Haku/ Sugawara's VA), Iyami (Obanai Iguro's VA), Totoko (Shoko's VA)
The Vampire Dies in No Time
Tumblr media
Synopsis: The story follows the famed vampire hunter, Ronaldo, who receives a job to destroy the supposedly invincible vampire lord Draluc and rescue a human boy he allegedly kidnapped.
Episodes: 24
Note: Its a hit or miss, the running gag is used constantly and gets tiring at times, but the overall anime is a good watch. I personally loved John the Armadillo
Buddy Daddies
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Assassins Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa meet Miri, a girl looking for her father on Christmas Day. Kazuki, Rei, and Miri unexpectedly end up living together.
Episodes: 12
May get dark at times, so I wont guarantee that itll be a smooth sail, but we get a wholesome conclusion so you can count on that! Otherwise VERY fluffy
Blue Lock
Tumblr media
Synopsis: High school soccer players from across Japan gather for a controversial project designed to create the best and most egoistic striker in the world.
Episodes: 24
Isnt exactly true football, but yeah. The anime is pretty fine. It doesnt exactly go under the fluffy anime like i mentioned in the title, but you can check it out if you want.
Free!!
Tumblr media
Synopsis: The story is centered on high school student Haruka Nanase, a gifted swimmer. After encountering his childhood rival, Rin Matsuoka from Samezuka Academy, he and his friends revitalize Iwatobi High School's swim team.
Episodes: 37 + specials and movies
This anime to me, personally is what haikyuu is. A great comfort anime which knows how to make the viewer connect with the characters. I dislike it when the whole anime gets reduced to just fanservice, like guys lets look beyond that and actually enjoy the plot.
Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan
Tumblr media
Synopsis: From smoking and exercising to nihilistic outbursts, everyone's big brother Uramichi always brings up the not-so-moral side to his life lessons
Episodes: 13
This one is very real and relatable in many levels. Theres a lot of screenshots and panels available online, so you can check a few out before watching!
Obey Me
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Brothers Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Satan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Belphegor are among the most powerful demons in the Devildom, serving as officers on the student council at the Royal Academy of Diavolo (RAD). However, being avatars of the seven deadly sins, their behaviors often tend toward the extreme. Their everyday antics belie their high status and fearsome reputations among others of their kind. When viewed behind the scenes, the members of this family are more lovable—and laughable—than they first seem!
Episodes: 24 + 1
It's based on a popular otome game, and can be watched as it is even if you havent played the game. The basic idea is that theyre based on the 7 sins, so their personalities are really amusing. As for the plot, its pretty wholesome.
Play It Cool Guys
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Despite their distinctive personalities, Souma Shiki, Hayate Ichikura, Shun Futami, and Takayuki Mima all have one thing in common: though naturally clumsy, the four disguise their embarrassment from tiny slip-ups by maintaining a composed demeanor. However, it is actually the guys' airheaded natures that makes the girls' hearts throb. No matter what happens in their daily lives, the boys do their best not to lose their cool!
Episodes: 24
Each episode is barely 10-13 minutes, so it just doesnt feel enough lol. Most of their slip ups are relatable and could get a chuckle from the viewer. The art style is a little different but its good. Definitely worth watching, once or even multiple times.
Tanaka Kun is Always Listless
Tumblr media
Synopsis: For high school student Tanaka, the act of being listless is a way of life. Known for his inattentiveness and ability to fall asleep anywhere, Tanaka prays that each day will be as uneventful as the last, seeking to preserve his lazy lifestyle however he can by avoiding situations that require him to exert himself. Along with his dependable friend Oota who helps him with tasks he is unable to accomplish, the lethargic teenager constantly deals with events that prevent him from experiencing the quiet and peaceful days he longs for.
Episodes: 13 + specials
Not gonna lie, Ive wanted to act like Tanaka. The characters are lovable and the anime is worth giving a try. An underrated gem. I personally loved the school festival episode.
@satoruukisser hope this helps!

Vampire!Osamu keeps a bunch of blood in his giant special walk in fridge. Rows and rows of blood bags after blood bags, all categorised and labelled by their tartness, blood type, umami, expiry date, and sweetness. Whenever he wants a snack or a a full meal, that’s where he goes to cherry pick his choice.
It’s also password encoded because he’s sick of Atsumu stealing them whenever he’s too lazy to hunt. But ever since you’ve allowed him to feed from your body a few months ago, he decidedly handed over the 7-digit code to his twin to clear up his stock. It was instant in how Osamu realised that no other blood, regardless of how sought after or curated they were, could ever satisfy him the way yours does. Warm and hedonic and utterly gorgeous the way it slides down his throat — he’ll have to find a way to replicate it soon because it’s the fifth time in a month now that he’s accidentally overindulged, causing you to faint in his arms, again. It’s the best meal in all his life, but that doesn’t mean he wants to lose you in the process…
…especially not when Atsumu catches a whiff.

From a few months ago.
The fic is Sotto Voce E Legato by @onewhodiedyoung (free to read on AO3 https://archiveofourown.org/works/50810620), and this was a gift to a friend who is absolutely obsessed with it.
This is a tiny quarto, the endpapers and title page were made in Canva and I think the font I used for the text is Garamond.

Disturbia | Sakuatsu Vampire Au
It was a fact, one known to every fledgling and sire, that the first thing a newly-turned vampire felt- the first sensation to return to a body gone cold but still moving- was an all-consuming, endless hunger.
-
Sakusa Kiyoomi gets bitten by a vampire, and Miya Atsumu has to deal with the consequences of his actions. It isn't a great night for either of them.
