I really wish Maila Nurmi (Vampira) was more appreciated in her time during the 1950s. Her show only had 1 season before the TV station canceled it. By the time a diff TV station wanted to revive this character she was in her 60s during the 1980s. The TV station even offered to make her an executive producer with royalties for the new show staring Cassandra Peterson (Elvira). Sadly the women became adversaries until Maila died.
