I actually went into Bocchi! with the intention of not falling into the Hiroi trap, I was so sure that everyone was just exaggerating how much of an enjoyable character she is. I was soooo wrong 😭 I'm on episode seven but I keep going back to six so I can get as many screenshots of Hiroi as I can.

I think it's because with all the memeing going around, it's hard to grasp what these characters really are like in the anime. For Kikuri, people go "drunk! best girl!" which yes, accurate, but that won't tell you that she is incredibly kind, talented, and even dependable. She's like, Hitori's biggest supporter. I thought I wasn't going to like her too much at first, but she managed to turn me around in the very same episode. I think there are some Kikuri focused comics? Spin-offs? I haven't read the manga, but if you intend to, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too!

y'all missing the whole point of stardew valley. it's supposed to be slow paced. you're a farmer. crops do now grow instantly and you wont be making millions in a season. enjoy the fucking game, take your fucking time. take days off to just forage and talk to people. aren't yall tired of the grind from real life??? do you want to experience burnout in a farming game too??????
