Valerie Gauvin has signed for FC Fleury. Her career is so tragically blighted by injuries that you would think she had played for Potsdam, yet she never did. Everton signed her from Montpellier and she seemed very good, scoring 3 goals in her first 5 games for Everton. Then she got injured in the FA Cup final and that marked the beginning of the end. Since then, she has struggled with injury, and I don't think she played at all for her next two clubs, North Carolina Courage and Houston Dash.

I wish her all the best! She's a good player from when I've seen her

Oh god that sounds awful from Gauvin, really hope she's ok - especially after being out for injury all that time.

some good news is that it looks like Gauvin (from her insta stories) is doing well on the comeback trail and is back with Everton.

Wooo back with Everton and back with ball work it seems, this really is some good news amongst so much woso (and just general) disappointment!!
