Vickie & Freddie - Valentina Hellebel *the two pairs mentioned are twin sisters and arguably my favorite fictional couple of all time respectively. *The Valentine Hellebel series is a Dutch horror book series of a similar demographic as R.L Stine's 'goosebumps' by the late Eddy C. Bertin. It's a phenomenal 7 part series that combines Lovecraftian horror, with folk legends, religions (from the Church to the Aztecs) and witchcraft. Valentina Hellebel is the protagonist, discovering she is a witch in the first book and her fight against evil accidentally drags her best friend Anton and two of her classmates, Vickie and Freddie into it, resulting into the four of them becoming a coven despite Valentina being the only one with powers- partially due to them being compatible astrologically as each zodiac needs to be represented in a coven and all of them bring non-magical talents Valentina lacks to the table but also because witches are a dying breed (her grandma Hennie is the only other active witch in town).
