Tumblr media
Pairing: Human Valentin x GN! reader ( For reference Valentin is a late teenager in this, so likeee, 17ish?? )
Warnings: Mentions of injuries, swearing
Based of the prompt ‘You make me feel safe‘
Valentin knew his life was challenging. Sure, he loved his family, but that didn’t excuse the things they did; especially the things they did to him.
You knew Valentin’s life was challenging. You could tell when he would hide away the bruises that adorned his skin, the slight bite of his lip being the only giveaway. You could tell when Valeri had gone too far in his arguments with Valentin, the younger brother’s eyes being glazed over with tears; but he never let them fall.
However, no matter how many times he came to you like that, no matter how many times you wanted to beat the shit out of Valentin’s family for even daring to lay a hand on him, you didn’t say anything. You had a feeling he would reveal the truth when he was ready, if that day ever did arrive. Even if he did share the secrets of the tortures he endured in that house, it’s not like you could do anything about it; Valentin’s family was incredibly wealthy, no one could stand up to them.
It turns out you were half correct, he would share a small piece of his troubles; however it didn’t play out like you thought it would.
It was dark out, the sun had long set in the sky and stars were ruling over their domain. You were sleeping peacefully, until something hit your window.
Tink
You groaned as you rubbed the sleep from your eyes, looking around the room.
Tink
Tink
There it was again.
You got up from your bed, looking out your window.
“ Y/n.” A voice stated calmly.
That voice.
“ Valentin? What on earth are you doing here at this hour?” You questioned, staring at the man. That’s when you noticed it. Bruises, fresh ones, were present on his face and neck.
You gasped in shock and gestured for him to come inside. He climbed through your window quickly, glancing back to make sure no one saw him. He took a seat on the edge of your bed, wincing at he sat down.
“ Valentin, what happened?” You questioned, taking a seat beside him.
“ Valeri got angry.” Valentin stated simply, as he stared at you blankly. You inhaled sharply, hands balling into fists.
Stay calm. He doesn’t need to see any more anger tonight.
You exhaled slowly, letting yourself calm down a small amount.
“ Gods above...” You trailed off, eyes roaming his pale face. The bold blue of his irises drew you in, and for a moment you found yourself almost drowning in them. Even with small abrasions littering his face; he was perfect.
“ I don’t have many healing supplies Val, and you know it.” You stated. “ I’m not frustrated about your random arrival, I’m confused more than anything. Out of all the places you could go, why here?”
Valentin let out a humorless laugh. “ Because it’s the only place I can go.” He replied, running his fingers through his hair. He looked back at you, grief filling his eyes.
Those damn eyes.
They were an ocean, luring you in and keeping you there. You didn’t dare break the eye contact between the two of you. You were afraid; afraid that if you didn’t hold his gaze, he would never reveal the truth to you.
“ The only place you could go?” You echoed softly.
He nodded. “ I’m not even sure how to properly vocalize it. You are the only place I can go without bloodshed, without war, without violence. You are the only place where tension and stress release their vise-like grip on my mind. You make me feel safe.”
You stared at him, not saying a word. You two spent a few minutes in silence, just looking at each other, almost as if you were having a conversation telepathically, and in some sort of way, you were. You opened up your arms in a silent question. He practically fell into your embrace, gripping you tightly as he let you temporarily take him away from his sorrows and heartache. You ran your fingers through his hair slowly, trying your best to ease his pain.
No noise left his mouth, no tears left his eyes, everything was completely silent.
You stayed like that until his grip eventually loosened. Looking downwards, you noticed that Valentin had fallen asleep, head laying in the crook of your neck. You pushed him off of you, carefully as to not wake him. You set him down properly on the bed, and you laid yourself down right next to him.
“ Goodnight Valentin.” You said quietly to the boy, turning yourself to not face him. As you drifted off into sleep you barely heard him utter the words back to you.
“ Goodnight Y/n, Te iubesc.”

Not so subtle: Valentin Rusmanov x GN!Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: smoking Bliss, suggestiveness (slight), otherwise fluff Word count: 1,280
Grim is just one of the many words you could use to describe life in Department 19. It was a cold and unforgiving organization where a rigid routine and rules had to be followed in order to survive. You were fine with that for the most part, it’s just that sometimes you wanted some normality.
You made friends with Jaime Carpenter and his friends Larissa, Kate and Matt who offered an escape from grueling military life. Jaime and you could bond over certain things you didn’t feel comfortable expressing like missing your mother. Upon hearing that, he made it a habit to invite you to visit his mom in the cell block.
She was a kind woman who always welcomed you like you were her child as well. You enjoyed talking to her as often as possible. However, one day you needed some advice and when you went to visit her you found her sleeping. Deciding it was unfair to wake her, you made your way as silently back up the stairs when you felt eyes on you. You turned your head only to be greeted by Valentin Rusmanov’s blue eyes staring at you with a slightly amused look.
“Morning.” You said after an awkward moment of silence. He smirked at you, “Good morning.”
He placed a bookmark on the page he was on and closed his book, turning all his attention to you. “Something troubling you?”
And that’s how your semi-regular visits to his cellblock started.
At first you came to him when Marie was busy or stopped for a small chat so you don’t seem rude after all he’s done for the Department. Then these small chats turned into him offering you to join him for coffee or tea. Soon this morphed into you just casually strolling in through the UV barrier whenever you wanted to talk to him.
You made your way down to him holding his copy of Madame Bovary. He lent it to you when you expressed your distaste for modern romance novels. The book was a battered paperback, barely held together. It had that old book smell and yellow pages. The small notes on the sides in Romanian didn’t escape you. You won’t tell him but you used Google Translate to figure out what he wrote.
“Morning, is this a bad time?” You asked still a bit sleepy.
“Ah, good morning, not at all. Some coffee, perhaps?” he smiled looking at your exhausted expression.
“Yes, please. It took me all night but I finished it.” You held up the book for him to take. The way his fingers grazed yours wasn’t lost on you.
He poured some fresh coffee for you and placed it before you. “You were in no rush to return it, why didn’t you rest?” He raised an eyebrow, teasingly. Damn his flirtatious nature.
“I couldn’t put it down. It was amazing. You were right, it did change my views on modern novels.” You sip your coffee and sigh. Coffee always tasted better when he prepared it, even when you bought the same brand. His was somehow better.
He let out a deep chuckle, “Oh, I was right? Imagine that…” Valentin dragged his tongue over the bottom edge of his top teeth. He crossed his right ankle over his left knee and held the ankle with his left hand. His right hand held his coffee cup. “Which part was your favorite?”
Taking a long sip of the rich coffee, you begin your rant on the book. Slyly slipping in some of his personal commentary you read on the pages.
“... But that’s not even the worst thing about Emma! She is so spoiled, so blind she…” You waved your hand around like crazy. The rant paused only for you to take a sip of the hot beverage to soothe the dry throat. Valentin paid no mind, he was focused on you entirely. “… Yes, of course life would have been easier as upper class but come on, it’s not like they were struggling! Charles was trying hard, he made an honest living! She should’ve…” Valentin looked at you with open admiration, he loved listening to you rant about things you had strong opinions over. Most of all, he loved providing material for your rants. It was no problem lending you books. Hell, he would’ve had his associates buy books specifically so that he could give them to you. He listened, but a part of him was elsewhere until you said “… she dreamt of a life she had no desire to work for” He paused. This sentence felt familiar.
“So you’ve taken my own thoughts into consideration whilst reading?” he teased with a smile.
You blinked, “Sorry?” Valentin chuckled before flipping the pages of the book, tapping a pencil note and reciting it in Romanian.
He put the book down and sucked his teeth, looking you up and down. Suddenly you felt squeamish.
“Okay, I may have reviewed them. So what?” You avoid his gaze, embarrassed to have been caught. Valentin finds it endearing.
“Just try it, I promise you’ll like it.”
“No, why would I want vampire drugs?”
“Why wouldn’t you?”
Valentin was enjoying his Bliss laced cigarettes a bit too much. He took of his jacket, rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt and undid a button or two. You sat there with a smirk, shaking your head as he smiled with those pretty blue eyes.
They turned red as soon as he inhales the smoke and his head falls back, legs slightly parted as he enjoyed his high.
You blush at the suggestiveness of the scene and turn away.
“I can hear your heartbeat.” He says to you and slowly lowers his head to you with a smirk.
“Worry about your own heart, Valentin.” You roll your eyes at him when he takes another drag, “I’ll just leave it with you, it’s safer.”
You didn’t reply, knowing he’ll say just about anything when Bliss is in his system. But there is something about the way he looks at you, he smiles with his eyes no matter in what state he is. You know that the look he is giving you isn’t just a side effect of the drug, but something more. You don’t read too much into it.
Sometimes the operators didn’t sleep in the same intervals. You desperately needed sleep but the living quarters were too loud. You groggily marched down to the all too familiar cellblock to find shelter for the night.
Valentin was lounging on his chaise lounge reading when he noticed you enter. He glanced at his wrist watch and furrowed his brows. His eyes darted upwards to find your half closed ones.
“Can I sleep here?” you ask wearily.
How is this a question? Of course you can! He will always welcome you and protect you. He grew quite fond of his friendship with you and didn’t even deny some deeper feelings that started forming.
“Of course, sleep well.” He nodded and returned to his book, or at least pretended to.
You sigh and drag yourself over to his bed. “Thank you. Ugh, I could just kiss you right now.”
“You could.” He replied with raised eyebrows.
As you settled under the covers you stopped and turned to face him. The air was starting to shift but your tired mind didn’t allow any shenanigans. “Good night, Valentin.” You chuckle.
Valentin smiles at you, “Good night, dragostea mea.”
You don’t tell him you know what  that means. Let him think he is being smooth.

Hugs
Tumblr media
Pairing: Valentin x GN! reader
Warning: Deffo OOC Valentin but I mean who cares, definitely not my best writing
It started with a handshake.
A simple handshake.
That handshake morphed into a lingering hand on his shoulder, or a casual shoulder bump of acknowledgement.
Then it moved onto a friendly hug every time you greeted him.
He loved the way your arms wrapped around him, giving him a sense of security; but it did make him wonder.
How could someone that’s so affectionate have such a death filled job?
He had never had that before, never had someone that cared. So he treasured the time he was in your embrace. He noticed how your hand always twitched like you were anticipating something. Almost like you were scared that your touch would annoy him, to retract yourself at a moments notice if you sensed your affection bored him.
You were like him. You were scared to attach.
He didn’t know how to bring about the subject. The matter was simple, you wanted to give people physical affection, he wanted to receive said affection. Why was something so simple so hard to talk about?
He decided to finally confront the matter when you decided to visit him down in his cell.
“ What’s on your mind Val? You’re doing that whole ‘staring off into space’ thing.”
“ My apologies for spacing out, however I do need to talk to you about something.”
“ Oh?”
“ Well, how do I say this... I’ve noticed how you always want to...cling to people.”
“ Has it bothered you? I can stop if you want, I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.” you say with a small frown.
“ No no, that’s not what I mean... my family was never the, how do I say this, ‘touchy - feely’ type, and as much as it weakens me to say, I enjoy it when you hug me. I notice that you always seem to want more than just an initial greeting hug, and I wanted to let you know that I’m more than alright with that.” He trailed off, looking anywhere but your eyes.
Your face heated up, a smile creeping onto your face.
“ So can I hug you right now?” You ask, arms already outstretched.
“ I think I would like that.” He replies, letting himself fall into your embrace.

It’s So Pretty
Tumblr media
Pairing: Valentin x GN! reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
It was getting to be winter, your first winter with the blacklight to be exact.
It was late autumn and the days began to get bitter. One particularly cold day, you decided to visit Valentin down in the cells. As you walked down the steps, you noticed how the temperature dropped even further the deeper down you went.
You reached the floor level, and tapped your key card on the door lock. The doors opened quietly, displaying  the long hallway of cells.
You approached the first cell on the left, your vampire friend already expecting you.
“ Jeez it’s cold in here.” You muttered, passing through the UV barrier. Valentin gave you a smile.
“ Indeed, it appears the Director would prefer me to die by the cold.” You frowned, you knew he was joking, but you made a mental note to get both him and Mrs. Carpenter some blankets.
“ So what has my favourite operator been doing? Killing vampires out in the snow?” He hummed, handing you a cup of tea as he sat down. You took a seat in the chair opposite him before responding.
“ Actually, I’ve never seen snow.” You spoke, taking a sip of your tea. He stared at you eyes slightly widened.
“ You’re kidding, surely...?”
You tilted your head in confusion as you set your tea down.
“ Nope, not joking...is that not normal?” He set his tea down, offering you a hand. You take his hand, giving him a confused glance.
“ Val..?”
“ Well that just won’t do.” He stated, pulling you through the UV barrier. He scooped you up in his arms, being careful to not crush you. The second he flew up the stairwell, the alarms started blaring.
“ I told them I could’ve broken out whenever I wanted, honestly I’m surprised they didn’t have more counter measures.” He commented, moving through the halls of the building.
Operators gave shouts of alarm as you passed, but honestly you were more worried about Valentin potentially dropping you. You clutched his jacket tighter, burying your face into his chest. He smelled like cigar smoke and fancy cologne. Nice. He smiled down at you, continuing his path out of the blacklight. You passed Jamie, who was slack jawed, and Larissa who honestly just looked super confused. He flew out the doors of the building, flying over the forest that surrounded the area.
“ You can stop hiding now darling, I promise you’re safe.” He spoke, coaxing you out of his jacket. You stared at the trees whizzing past, letting a smile overtake your face. He finally came to a stop, floating slowly to the ground.
Snow.
He had taken you to a snow covered meadow. He set you down gently, gauging your reaction. You bent down and picked up a handful of the frozen water.
It’s cold...weird.
It started to melt in your hand, you grabbed another handful, turning to Valentin.
“ It’s so pretty.” You mumble, looking from the snow to him.  He gave you a small smile as you brushed the snow from your hands.
“ It snowed a lot back in my home country, winter was the best time of year.” He re - called, a trace of a smile on his lips. You noticed how the snow crunched beneath his shoes as he spoke, and gasped.
“ It’s so crunchy.” You muttered, entranced by the snow. Valentin chuckled at your antics. You picked up some snow and ate it.
“ Y/n, you’re not supposed to eat it, you dolt.”
“ Oh so you’re too good to eat the snow?”
“ Darling it’s not clean-”
“ It’S nOt ClEaN.”
“ Are you mocking me?”
“ Maybe,” You said with a smirk. “ But I mean it with love pretty boy.”
He froze, and so did you.
Fuck. Didn’t mean to say that last part out loud.
“ I mean it with love too dragostea mea,” He stated with a grin, “ That’s why I’m telling you that eating snow isn’t good.”
“ Shush, don’t ruin the moment.”

Alone Again
Tumblr media
Pairing: Valentin x GN! reader
Warnings: blood, gore, violence, ANGSTTTTT
( I was listening to Chamber of Reflection and thought of this )
Valentin was enjoying the fight, proving that he was superior than others was a guilty pleasure of his. He was tearing through other vampires left and right, thoroughly enjoying the sound of their screams. He was in the middle of tearing a particularly pesky vampire in half when he heard something he prayed he would never have to. A shout, but not just any shout, your shout.
He finished the vampire instantaneously, and flew towards where he heard you cry of agony.  He scanned the area, searching for you. When he saw you, he froze for a moment.
Dracula’s sword. Through your stomach.
He stared not comprehending what was happening.
This wasn’t supposed to happen. You weren’t supposed to be the one that got hurt.
Dracula removed the sword from your body with a jerk, letting you slump to the ground. He charged back into battle not giving you a second glance.
Valentin rushed to your side, cradling your body in his arms. He slips the helmet off your head, trying not to cause you anymore pain.
“ Val...” You wheeze out.
You sound so broken, he can’t take it.
You brush something off his cheek, and he vaguely realizes he’s crying. He tries to wrap his jacket around the wound, but you’re losing blood fast.
“ It’s alright, you’ll be fine.” He reasons, brushing his hand along your cheek. You weakly grab his hand, pressing a kiss to his knuckles.
“ Val....I need you to know something.” You whisper, eyes glossing over. A single tear escapes your eye.
“ You can tell me once we get back dragostea mea, I need to get you back to the blacklight.”
You give him a smile. “ We both know I’m not going to make it there. Please listen to me.” You wince, trying not to think of your injuries.
“ Val, I love you. I love you so much. You mean the absolute world to me. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, I didn’t want to scare you off, I know that you’ve had bad experiences with love.”
Memories of his childhood hit him, his mother and father fighting, his father cheating on his mother. He told you that during one of your late night talks, when you’d sneak down to visit him after dark. It was true, he used to resent the idea of love, but when he lay awake at night, thinking about having a relationship with you, he felt warm. You felt like home to him, more than his actual family ever did.
A cough racked your body, and he could see his jacket start to turn red.
“ There’s nothing to be sorry for dragostea mea, I love you too.” He admitted, giving you a genuine smile. His tears fall on your uniform, but he didn’t try to stop them.
“  You never did tell me what that meant.” You mumbled, having trouble keeping your eyes open. He’d been using the nickname for a while, yet whenever you asked what it meant, he’d change the topic.
“ It means my love.” He whispered, eyes never leaving yours.
“ dragostea mea... I like the sound of that.” You breathed, the light finally leaving your eyes.
Valentin’s eyes widened.
“ dragostea mea?”
“ Y/n?”
He shook you slightly, waiting for you to snap out of it. But you didn’t.
The elder vampire stood up quietly, fists clenched tightly.
There were only one thought in his mind.
He was alone again.

Lost Count
Tumblr media
Just a little Department 19 fic I decided to write when I was bored
Pairing: Valentin Rusmanov x GN! reader
Warnings: Violence, Swearing, Mild Gore
( Y/n is 22 in this fic btw )
This is it.
Zero hour had come and gone. This was the last time the departments could possibly defeat Dracula. It was either death by vampire now, or death by vampire later. That’s what made this fight so dangerous, the fact that absolutely everything depended on its outcome.
You were fighting with everything you had. You fought for the younger brother you had lost to the enemy. Shaun. He’s the whole reason you fought, you wanted them to pay for what they did to him. Just the thought of his death had the heat burning behind your eyes. Your eyes changed from their normal ( e/c ) to a colour similar to swirling magma, the heat in your eyes rising to an unbearable temperature. Your helmet had been cast aside during battle, allowing your heightened senses to work better.
A vampire lunged at you, letting out a loud hiss. You calmly stepped out of the way, moving so fast that the vampire looked as though he was attacking in slow motion. You elbowed him in the back of the head, watching as the impact dented his skull and sent him flying. Another vamp came at you, attempting to slash you with her claws. You grabbed her by the arms, and with a large squelching noise, the two halves of her fell to the floor. As the scent of blood wafts through the air you groan with pleasure.
“ You certainly look as though you’re enjoying yourself.” A voice sounded from behind you.
Valentin.
You turned to see him giving you a lazy smirk.
“ Aren’t you supposed to be killing Dracula right about now?” You replied, slightly irritated at his antics.
“ I thought I’d see how my favourite operator was handling themselves.”
“ Well I’m doing fine, now go kill the stupid bastard.”
“ Hurrying to get rid of me?”
“ 46.”
“ Pardon?”
“ I’ve killed 46 enemy vamps,” You stated, giving him a grin. “ You?”
“ Nice try darling. 63.”
You gave a frustrated groan. “ How do you always manage to beat me?”
“ Well, when you’ve been fighting for as long as I have, you learn a few things Mx. Turner.”
And that’s when you noticed it.
He had this look in his eyes that made you wonder just how many people he had killed in his extended lifetime.
And this grin. The very grin that made you weak in the knees every single time he did it. And it was that exact grin that made you realize, he’s probably lost count.

Are You Alright Darling?
Pairing: Valentin x reader
Warnings: violence, blood
Tumblr media
It was the final fight before Dracula would regain his full strength. The department was fighting with everything they had, and you were too. Your T - bone and MP5 worked in perfect sync, and you were destroying vampires left and right. You vaguely wondered where Valentin and Jamie were, but pushed that thought out of your mind.
I’ll see them after the fight.
You looked over seeing another operator struggling against three vamps. You gripped your MP5 tighter, directing it at one of the vampires. You pulled the trigger, watching as the bullet caught it in the neck. The three turn to face you, and you run straight at them. You T - bone the one you had previously shot, watching it explode into a mess and blood & gore. The second one, and older woman, charged at you screaming. Your T - bone was still re - setting, so you took your MP5, shooting the woman in the shoulder. She stumbles back, you grab your stake from your belt, and stake her.
Your comrade takes out the third one and gives you a nod. You shoot him a thumbs up before scoping out your next target. You’re just taking a step to go attack an especially strong vamp, when something grabs your shoulder.
“ So you’re the pathetic human that caught the traitor’s eye.”
Oh fuck.
Valeri slammed you against a nearby tree, knocking the MP5 & T - bone out of your hands. He pins you there, holding you up by your neck, not hard enough to choke you, but enough to keep your there. You try to grab your stake, but he grabs it from you, throwing it behind him carelessly.
He forces your helmet off, inspecting you.
“ I don’t understand what he sees, you’re just an average pest.” He hums, tracing your jaw line with his finger, looking lost in thought for a moment.
“ I think I’ll rip you apart slowly, maybe then he’ll finally realize that he chose the losing side.” Valeri smirks, taking out a knife he had stored in his jacket. You tried to kick him off of you, but he was far too strong. He made his first cut into the side of your neck. It was shallow enough that it wouldn’t kill you, but damn it stung like a bitch.
“ Get your hands off of them.” A voice hissed out.
Val.
The first thing you noticed was how much taller Valentin was than his brother. The second thing you noticed was how his eyes were turning red as he noticed your neck.
“ Ah, the traitor has arrived at last.” Valeri remarked. “ Come to get your pet?”
“ I said GET YOUR HANDS OFF THEM.” Valentin roared, grabbing Valeri by the neck, essentially ripping him off of you. You slump down against the base of the tree, touching the cut on your neck. Your finger tips came back red.
Great, bleeding in the middle of a fight against vampires. Just my luck.
Valeri stood there in shock. After all, Valentin never raised his voice. Unless...
Valeri started laughing, still being held off the ground by his brother.
“ Don’t tell me you actually care for them..? You’ve gone soft.”
“ And you’ve gotten weak.” Valentin spoke, crushing Valeri’s neck. He dropped his older brother on the ground, standing over him menacingly.  Valeri gripped at his neck, trying to get air into his lungs.
“ Pathetic.” Valentin spat, turning to face you. He offered a hand to you, which you took.
“ Are you alright darling?” You nod, giving him a small smile. He grabs your chin softly, tilting your head to the side. He leans toward you, licking the blood off your neck. His eyes swirl red, and he lets out a low groan.
“ Valentin..?” You mumbled, face heating up.
“ Sorry, it’s just been so long since I’ve tasted human blood.” He murmured, pulling away from your neck. You grabbed your MP5 and T - bone off the floor, brushing the dirt off of them.
“ Thanks for the help Hot Shot.” You said, putting on your helmet & heading back out into the battlefield.
“ Y/n.” He called out. You turned to look back at him.
“ Be careful out there.” You flipped your visor up and gave him a small salute.
“ Will do Val.”

Smoll Valentin Scenarios
Tumblr media
They couldn’t be their own fics sooooo
Pairing: Valentin x GN! Reader
Warnings: Mentions of killing, uh vampire stuff?
“I did something Terrible.”
He whispered those words to you one night when you were both laying in bed. He was beside you, eyes staring up at the bare ceiling.
“ What do you mean?” You asked, moving to face him. You moved a piece of hair out of his face. His eyes met yours, and you could see the anguish hidden within.
“ A long time ago, I did some very bad things... Things I regret.” He mumbled. He pulled you closer, and you ran your fingers through his hair.
“ We all do things we regret Val, what’s most important is that you learn from it and become a better person.”
“ I took innocent lives all in the name of a master who was nothing but a blood thirsty tyrant, how can you justify that?” He muttered.
“ I’m not justifying it Val, I know that what you did was bad. I also know that you never wanted to enter that life. You’ve grown to become a better person, that’s what matters.” You gave him a kiss on his forehead, gently massaging his scalp.
“ You deserve so much better than me.” He sighed out, burying his face in your neck. You wrapped your hands around his torso, giving him another kiss on his head. You heard his breathing slow, and you stared out the window. The moon shone brightly above, giving the room faint light.
“ You deserved so much better Val, I’m so sorry for what they did. I swear I’ll make them pay.”
-----------------------------------------------
Matt Browning cleared his throat nervously.
“ Could all officers get into a line please?”
The group of officers formed a neat line against the wall, some fidgeting nervously, others stone faced.
Valentin stood to Matt’s left, a rest smirk on his face.
You were known as a relatively quiet officer, never complaining, always doing what you were told with excellence. In fact, because you never complained you ended up being first in line for PROMETHEUS, which you inwardly cursed at.
Damn the rest of them. Fucking cowards.
You watched as an officer caused a commotion, talking about how he thinks this entire thing is demented.
“ Then leave you fucking coward.” You spoke.
“ Excuse me?” The officer growled, turning to face you.
“ Are you dumb? I said that if you want to pussy out, then leave. You. Fucking. Coward.”
The officer looked as though he wanted to strangle you, and maybe he would’ve, if Turner hadn’t intervened.
Two of your fellow officers grabbed the man and led him away to the cells, which you inwardly smirked at. Sure you may not have wanted to be turned, but it was what needed to be done.
“ Now...Valentin, do your thing.” Matt chimed in awkwardly. “ Officer L/n, you’re up first.”
You sighed, zipping down your uniform, exposing your collar bones.
Valentin observed the officer in front of him with curiosity. He had noticed them when he had first arrived, and had heard stories from Jamie about your skills on the battlefield. He had to admit, they were quite good looking. He placed a hand on their waist, and the other on their cheek. They turned their head away from him, exposing their neck.
He bit down on their neck firmly, internally chuckling at the almost silent whine they gave him in response. His eyes grew hot as blood entered his mouth, savouring the sweetness of their blood.
Good lord, their blood is absolutely divine.
“ Valentin. That’s enough.”
That comment only urged him further, burying his head deeper in their neck. The officer held still, no complaint leaving their lips. Valentin let out a small growl, finally pulling away from them. A single drop of blood dripped from the wound, which Valentin carefully licked off their neck. They gave a small shiver, and the smirk returned to the vampire’s face.
“ Uh...whoever’s next in line..” Matt trailed off.
A man in his late thirties stepped forward, begging to unzip his uniform.
