🍓 Val has a very strong neomilitaristic fashion sense, mainly due to his upbringing and being taught to present well. He very stubbornly sticks to the suit and tie– even as it started to become a running gag between his streetkid chooms, and even after he got fired from Arasaka. The man simply can’t live without at least his button-ups and chinos. He’s completely obsessed with Avante and basically owns every item from their catalogue, though he tends to hide the really expensive pieces so that Kerry doesn’t steal them (again). Speaking of Kerry; the guy is still fighting the battle of getting Val to dress more casually to this day. It’s a tough one, but if you happen to see Val walking around in anything other than his button-ups and formal pants, you’ll know it’s Kerry’s doing.
