612 neural network generated trollsona names

i trained a recurrent neural network on a list of all *canon* homestuck trolls, first name and last name interchangeable. despite the ludicrous amount of trolls in canon, this was still a very small dataset for a rnn, so some of the results ended up sounding like cheap reskins of canon trolls (zeridan?? zequius??? leperi????) but there are quite a few gems! overall, i’m happy with how this turned out, and i hope someone can get some use out of this. big thanks to @inkqaz for inspiration, and for formatting the data. <3

Svalih is very interested in this woman. Her aesthetic is so… unusual, so unapologetically counter-culture. They find themself drawn to her. Plus, what she has to say about mutations is, honestly, extremely validating. It’s nice to just, sit here, from a safe distance, and absorb some of this rhetoric and this positivity. Learn to repeat it to themself later. Yeah. That sounds healthy.

here in these swamps awaits yov The Forsaken… we are what most wovld call a “cvlt,” bvt do not let that discovrage yov. we are a grovp of Trve Seadwellers and other “mvtants,” ranging from large to small. here, yov will not be shamed or ovtcast for yovr mvtations. yov will not be hvnted and cvlled. within The Forsaken, we see yovr mvtations as gifts.

Svalih jolts as they realize Val is singling them out. Their posture is kept straight by the several braces keeping their back from hunching, but they clearly want to shrink out of sight. They plant their feet on the ground and swivel their hips to look around before making any attempt at responding.
