mistletoe
send me ‘ mistletoe ’ for my muse’s response to being underneath mistletoe with your muse. specify whether it’s accidental or on purpose.
she’s away from her family. she’s with jack and the others. she’s actually happy for once in her life. ending up underneath the mistletoe on her way to the kitchen for more cocoa should have been something she expected by this point, but she wasn’t complaining about it, either.
jack is her hero. someone she loves and adores with her whole heart. he’s everything to her. he’s saved her and kept her safe from more than she ever thought possible, and not just through work.
standing on her toes, her kiss didn’t last very long, but it held everything she wasn’t sure how to say with words. pulling away left a stupid-happy smile on her face before she looped her arms around him in a hug.
