FF.XIV VERSE: KAMINARI.
kami is a lalafell who was raised in a cult, worshipping rhalgr. when he was around 20 years old, his parents wanted to give his soul to the void, so he could expand his lifespan significally, and they were under the impression that rhalgr would be pleased.
unfortuanately, kami got cold feet and decided not to go through with the ritual. this upset the greater majority of this small cult, and they tried to kill both kami and his parents. the fight left very little in its wake, and kami fled.
without any guidance in his life now, or anyone telling him how to think, kami since then taught himself how to fight with his fists, and trying to come to terms with the past he left behind, and what he wants to do with his life now. the most he was able to accomplish is find a passive interest in the deity oschon. kami was attracted to the idea of freedom, but doesn't actually know how to worship or pray or anything without someone instructing him on exactly how. he's spent the past 5 years aimlessly wandering and trying to find anything to connect to. from little odd jobs to exploring various locations.
it wasn't until coming to ul'dah that he finally found a reason to be useful again. the sultana and the city clearly needed his help, and kami was more than happy to prove useful. he just never actually anticipated how. from joining the adventurer's guild and getting a tour of the city, to joining the pugalists guild and perfecting his fighting techniques, he was happy that people needed him.
it wasn't until he was instructed to be an envoy that kami can now realize he doesn't JUST have to serve a purpose for other people. he's a free man, and has been a free man for quite a few years at this point. it was in limsa lominsa that he joined the arcanist guild, because magic still has an important use for him, and he can learn how to use it for good, and not evil.
kami still feels an urge to made a void pact, but he's been able to resist so far. whenever he does sleep, his dreams have always been strange, an odd mix of darkness and emptiness, though are now filled with images of crystals and hydaelyn. he doesn't know what to make of any of it, but he wants to at least try.
he's not wholly bitter for the most part. kami is like his mainverse counterpart in that he is very reserved and has been hurt in the past, so he's well guarded against others. though when he lets his guard down, he can be quite attached. for now, he just wants to continue being useful to others, while also finally figuring out his own life. at age 25, he feels like it should have started long ago, but hey, he's still young!
#v. final fantasy ( kami. )#i have a char made for chongyun too#but it's been over a year since i even touched that character#so i need to revisit and remember where all i put my thaumaturge#and i'll write up a verse blurb for them too#but for now have kami!

09. prompt / fair
An evening such as this makes me ponder if the heavens could hear the very pounding of my heart as it rejoices that I am chanced with another meeting with you, m'lady. Under starlight, and the tapestry of the night that offers us shelter, I come to you as I have mentioned in my last missive, for I will take leave soon and wish to see you.. one last time.
I know, I said I didn't want to say goodbye anymore, but this will be the last time, a temporary departure in order to fulfill a promise I made to you.
❝ She is not here.❞
Any elation I felt was depleted by the voice that echoed across from underneath the sway of the trees we admire in our solitude. There, among the statues where we once stood, under the sway of whispering willows, I found no evidence of you.
Instead, moonlight graced the scowl upon your father's features, and at his side, the hound we saved, one that was said to deliver my messages to you. Words suddenly failed me, turning to ash as I opened my mouth to speak, but before I could gather courage to say a word, his voice pierced into the space between us. I could not help but let my eyes wander to where his hand was resting.
He was armed.
❝ You must think me a fool, Mister Fitzgerald, and here I believed you would respect my wishes. Kami forfend that I believed you would listen. ❞
I could hear each breath escape me, ragged and shallow, as my eyes fell to the blade he wore. I knew well what he was capable of, what he may do to me, yet he did not brandish steel, rather made sure with his posture that I knew well of my place.
And I did not mean to question it.
My approach is a careful one, taken with languid steps forward and arms extended in his direction so he may see that I was unarmed and bore no ill intent.
"I have not done anything to sully her good name, I just --"
I couldn't finish my sentence, this ongoing, quiet rage within him, had grown and spread not an inferno, and from him came the flames of his rancor as the thunderous sound of his voice cemented my feet to the gravel path leading to him.
❝ Silence!
I told you to proceed with caution. You chose to disregard these words, throw caution to the winds and continue to defy me. I am aware of what takes place under my roof, and trust me when I say this: I humored this long enough, your fantasy of being with her ends here. ❞
His hand finally left the weapon at his hip to motion towards the dog at his side, the small courier who carried my confessions, my haiku, all of my planning, to you. It had been a well-crafted secret, but secrets had ways of being discovered.
How much had her father known? How long had he been aware?
"For that deceit, I will forever apologize profusely if you ask this of me. But, I won't apologize for what I feel for her, what I would do for her. That is something I will refuse to do." I couldn't stop myself as the emotions were roused within me.
Something inside me became undone, the seams that held these emotions back were ripped free. I had never spoken these words to another soul, but you know what I hold in my heart for you is true, and now, everyone else will know of it.
I am tired of denying myself. Of lying. Of hiding.
❝ Then do so in silence and leave her be. This is no request I make like before, a betrothed woman should be respected. For once, be an honorable person. ❞
And then something else broke inside me.
My own heart was delivered a severe blow, he may as well assailed me with his katana.
"..What? What do you mean.. --"
I am not sure what possessed me, what drove my legs to move forward when all I desired was the gravel to give out underneath me, but I marched to him and fell to my knees. The flurry of emotions crashed around me within an instant; suddenly, the beautiful hydrangeas lost their radiance and perfume, and the stars that I loved to share with you were extinguished one by one.
I wanted to call him a liar, but this was no deceit, those smoky greys gave an intense glare that spoke volumes of this truth. He nearly defeated me with this look, and perhaps this was his purpose, to shock me with this revelation. And he almost did, but I couldn't, I wouldn't simply let you go.
I have come this far. I have loved you this long in the shadows. I told you I would bear this with you.
And I will. I will earn a chance to walk side by side with you, under the sun.
❝ Go. Leave and forget her, so she could begin to forget you.❞
He shook me out of my reverie, but I needed an answer out of him, and when I spoke it, I saw something within his gaze shift into something morose even if his jaw had tightened and formed a severe contour.
"Does she know?"
❝ The personal ongoings of our clan is no concern to a foreigner, we have a business relationship, you are just the contact we have with the East Aldenard Trading Company, nothing more. ❞
And the truth was there, sewn between his words.
"How is that even fair to her!" I couldn't contain my resentment and felt my body tremble; I was not exclusively angry at the position I am in, but for you.
You ..who were unaware of it all.
❝ You want to speak of fairness, Mister Fitzgerald? You, who has manipulated her already for personal gain, who considered putting profit before her feelings? You whom she would risk all for and has to protect? Yet you could not muster the courage to do the same. ❞
I assumed there would be backlash to my question, that I was to be met with more waves of his ire. Yet the tone he used carries something far more somber than what one would expect.
❝ Assuming you never had children, then you would not know the overwhelming pain of seeing one pass, it is devastating. No parent should bury their child, they should be kept safe. I have failed at this before. I shall not repeat the same mistake again.
What is fair.. is giving someone I love dearly a chance to live. I am old now, and though I am proficient in swordsmanship, my body will eventually betray me. I need to have someone who will protect the one who protects others. But most importantly, to protect the other half of my heart from meeting an untimely demise.
How could I trust that task unto you, who has not shown me --❞
"I love her!" The words stumbled out of me that my head spun and my heart became naught but a deafening sound in my head. His lips gave part, and he may have spoken something, but I couldn't hear it. All I wanted was my bleeding heart to be seen, for once.
I love you. I love you.
I want to say these words to you without fear.
"I love her more than I could conceivably put into those letters you've read, more than I can proclaim to you right now! I know what she means to you, but understand that I would never wish to be a burden to her. What I feel is authentic, and for the months we have spent together, it has only made these feelings grow.
We both love her.."
His face softened then. He is your father after all, and despite how selfish we are as mortals, even I could understand what he must be feeling. He wants to protect you, to keep the flower of his clan from wilting, he wants to see you bloom in this cultivated garden.
❝ Mister Fitzgerald, I have made my choice.❞ I could hear the gravel shift underneath his footsteps, he meant to depart, but this was not to end this way, I will not allow it.
"..Give me a chance, just one I ask." He paused and I watched him take a deep breath before motioning for me to continue with a nod.
"I am willing to find a rare treasure, said to be in the Ruby Sea, that will grant her a voice, even if it is for a sun or a few bells. I want to give her an opportunity to tell you how much she loves you."
Perhaps me, too.
He did not disagree, and I took it as a positive sign that he would allow me this one chance to be a proper suitor.
And I do not mean to fail him, or you.

My latest fantasy: teasing Kakashi by kissing and nibbling down his v-line (especially on that big vein that pops out) and playing with his happy trail because the carpet matches the drapes and his hair is sooo soft 🥵
Yaaa baby, I wrote this in the hospital waiting room and it definitely lifted my spirits. I hope you enjoy it💖💕
The carpet matches the drapes
You deepen the kiss as his hand searches for the door handle and locks it. You never expected it, not in your wildest dreams, to be in the Hokage office running your fingers through the Hokage’s hair, hearing him grunt while your tongue caresses his mouth. But Kakashi was heaven on earth, and in the few months you’d started working with him directly, the two of you had grown closer than expected and an almost palpable string of electricity connected you both.
Moments ago you had caught him staring, unable to concentrate in his paperwork. Kami knows what went through his head. So many of those moments you imagined yourself getting up and pushing aside the endless towers of paper, while your fingers undid his shirt and his travelled to your sensitive— I should get back to work. You always told yourself whenever you caught those fantasies in your mind. So you shook your head and got back to your own set of papers.
However, Kakashi had the same experience. It was only a matter of time before one thing led to another and now you couldn’t help yourself getting a thrill as you were to be undoing the Hokage’s clothes in his dark office as the building was as busy as usual behind the door.
You nipped and nibbled at his soft neck, leaving a trace of faint red marks. Desperate for more, you help him remove his chest and vest, as you keep tasting his sweet skin travelling down his chest, circling his tender nipples with your tongue, gliding down his abdomen until you finally reach a silvery prize.
Rough uniform pants crown his sharp v bones. You delicately start licking the left side, stopping only to admire the wonder of making him shiver under your touch. A silvery glint of soft hairs catches your eye, you lift your gaze to meet his and giggle amused.
“Why are you laughing?” He manages to say between his pleasured groans.
“I’m not laughing, I was just pleased that the carpet matches the drapes”
He releases a low chuckle of his own, and you focus on the new task at hand. Touching his hard bulge, you promise to make him moan hard enough to let all the building hear.

Temukan file ISO Anda.

Random trivia: due to a ROM size issue, the Famicom version of Wizardry II has been developed and released after the adaptation of Wizardry III, hence the fact that Wizardry III was rechristened Wizardry II (and Wizardry II became Wizardry III). For some reason, one of the illustrations he created for Emil Chronicle Online was reused in the card game Aquarian Age. Did you listen to the NY demo songs of the musical that were put online recently? Some of the songs that weren't officially released are now available. Was wondering if you have any thoughts about them... Adrienne Warren's Misa in I'm Ready sounds v different compared to Fūka Yuzuki!
I am so happy the NY Demo got leaked tbh, I’ve been listening to it nonstop for the last couple of days and lemme just say – even though I don’t fully agree with all the characterization choices, the demo is gorgeous ;~; THANK YOU for the excuse to ramble about this, haha.
I’ll outline my thoughts on the songs that weren’t released previously under the read more, but just keep in mind that these are just some quick opinions on the songs rather than my thoughts on the demo vs the final versions of the songs b/c then this would be writing for weeks and nobody wants that textwall, haha.
…I say this is going to be abbreviated and then it turned out long-ish anyway.
Where is the Justice?
Yes I know this was released previously, but the version that was officially released cut a minute out from the song, so I’m commenting, fight me.
While I think the song is overall too focused around the issues with the criminal justice in America for a story that is supposedly set in Japan, I think the verse that was removed was more reflective of the sorts of things Light in canon might think.
That said I don’t fully agree that Light would argue that “draining the color from within until we’re back to seeing black and white and wrong and right again” is actually a good thing, especially considering canon Light does evaluate mitigating circumstances in his evaluation of who is guilty.
Overall, I think the song does a good job of establishing Light’s character as a kid who, despite having some deeply flawed views about justice, does genuinely care about fairness and has his heart in the right place.
To this day though, I’m not convinced that manga! Light is the kind of kid who would spark this debate in his classroom. He very much seems to be the kind of person who keeps his cynicism about the world to himself. If you ask me, his “ic” response would be more along the lines of “sure, the justice system isn’t perfect, but it’s our job as the next generation to keep improving it, isn’t it?” But that doesn’t make a cool song, lmao.
Hurricane
Yes, this one was also leaked before, but you’re not stopping me from talking about Weather Metaphors The Song™ now that it’s out in HQ.
Why. WHY.
I think the problem I have with this song is that there’s really not much character development during this song. Light is just immediately sucked into a power fantasy and this is really… not reflective of Light’s character in the series.
I’m Ready
LOVE. FUCKING LOVE ADRIENNE WARREN’S VOICE.
But i really don’t agree that Adrienne is a good casting choice with Misa. I LOVE her voice and her singing, but she’s… too much of a power house and Misa is just not that at all. Misa needed to be bubbly and radiate cuteness rather than maturity.
Hearing this rendition of Misa really made me understand why the Korean production went the direction they did with Jung Sun Ah’s Misa though, and it comes as much less of a headscratcher now.
I think these lyrics are also not PG enough for Misa’s idol image which sounds ridiculous b/c it’s overall a pretty tame song, lmao
Specifically it’s lines like “let me kiss you and then let me kiss you again” that are maybe not… squeaky clean enough for the image that idols in Japan have to project.
We All Need A Hero
Perfection. Absolute perfection. I love that they threw in that dumb light pun lmao.
Honestly this almost made me cry and I wish I knew who sings this song as they were the perfect Sayu singing voice. Young, sweet, optimistic, sincere sounding? Nailed it. (Edit: I am told that the singer is Laura Osnes)
I am VERY much intrigued by the fact that this song was written as a solo in the NY Demo as opposed to the odd duet that it became in the final version. This makes much more sense to me and avoids weird/creepy parallels between Sayu and Misa that the final version forced by making it a duet.
The Game Begins
I am so distracted by the line “for even the perfect crime has the perfect flaws” because this is just not logically coherent.
ON LESS GRIPEY TERRITORY – having the whole demo did put into perspective for me why the Weather Metaphors had to be, and I think it’s because they may have been going for a nature vs machine type of theme… and while I can appreciate it poetically (?) I just don’t agree that it fit thematically with the character of L and Light.
Like why… does L keep making tech metaphors? Is this supposed to be a quirk of his the same way that the posture/diet is? I think in a way this was poorly executed and characterization was ultimately sacrificed in favor of poetic analogies.
The literal first line “empty your mind of any feelings” is very unlike L to do. L is a detective who works heavily based on his intuition and his gut instincts. He did not tackle the Kira case like a super computer interested in objectivity and eliminating bias. That’s just not what happened in canon.
I stand very much corrected on these lyrics as they are “empty your mind of any theories.” My bad, I don’t have the best ear for lyrics. But that said, doesn’t this contradict the fact that he already took an action based on a theory with the LLT plan?
Overall I think this song took too many poetic liberties with L, and tried too hard to make him sound intelligent by throwing in “smart sounding words” like ~calculus~ and ~evolution~ even though those words didn’t actually make that much sense in the context he was applying them in?
“A stronger mind and evolution determines who wins the game” – for example. Evolution and adaptation aren’t synonyms, but he uses them as such anyway and this kind of clumsiness, though very lyrically pretty, is a bit… idk, not quite what I associate with L myself.
In terms of the overall performance – lovely. My issues are 100% the lyrics on this one. Jarrod Specter performs fantastically.
There Are Lines
Fight me this song is best song and I honestly did not like this song much in the final version of it.
J’ADORE how salty Soichiro is about L’s method of offering up Lind L Tailor as a decoy. His anger seems so genuine and believable in this, and I love how it’s so obvious that he has no idea that this is applicable to Light too, since they don’t force that dumb “KAMI NI NARU!!!!” line to ram the subtext down your throat. (… I say as I claim that I wasn’t going to talk about comparisons to the final Japanese songs, ahem).
That said, was Soichiro actually that salty about L’s tactics there with LLT in the manga? No. At least not to the extreme that he lost a lot of respect for L for it. In fact, manga!Soichiro seemed impressed by the results L achieved and didn’t really seem to dwell on the moral implications of L’s actions.
tl;dr not the most ic or canonically based interpretation of Soichiro, but I am standing by this man.
Personally, I think this is an improvement on the character AND LET ME JUST SAY THIS SONG MADE ME REALLY WISH THEY’D ADAPTED THE YOTSUBA ARC IN THIS MUSICAL??? Can you imagine this song as a reprise as Soichiro shoots Light while they’re in the car?
You’re welcome
Secrets and Lies
I cannot emphasize how much I love when Soichiro calls out L for his awful morals in addition to calling out Kira’s. This is so nice -w-
I am also deeply enamored with the fact that L also outright says “I don’t care who gets hurt now, as long as I get one more shot” because fucking yes – L is so brazen about this in the manga, and most adaptations try to sweeten his attitude.
I enjoy that it is constantly reinforced that neither Light nor L are in the right because there are constant parallels between the two and the two are criticized by the narrative.
Mortals and Fools
“What I see in your eyes is a counterfeit emotion” – the truest thing ever said about the manga!Misa’s feelings about love.
Admittedly, Demo!Rem annoys me as a character though. It’s not a problem with casting – Carrie’s singing is lovely and I think they made a good choice there. This is a bit of an aside I guess, but I just don’t understand how it is believable that Rem actually romantically fell in love with Misa as the song “When Love Comes” implies after all this love is for mortals and fools lark and Misa… doesn’t really seem to do anything to win Rem’s love in a romantic sense of it. Platonic love I can squint and buy certainly, but not romantic based on the contents of “Mortals and Fools”, “Borrowed Time,” and “When Love Comes.” Maybe something in the actual script/dialogue justifies it? But with the material available so far, I’m not seeing it.
I think also Demo!Rem’s fixation on the notion of love is something that’s… overexaggerated from her more subtle curiosity over the issue in the manga. I just don’t think I’d agree that the melancholy tone demo!Rem has when she says she tries and fails to really understand love as an emotion is true to the manga. Manga!Rem seems to have a more “god Misa, I get this is important to you but could you maybe slow down” kind of vibe to her. Melancholy doesn’t really seem to be it, exactly.
For the sake of clarity – the issue I have is not that Rem’s character was changed from the manga to make her develop romantic interests in Misa. That is perfectly a-okay and it’s actually pretty cool that they went this route with demo!Rem.
My issue is that from a narrative perspective, Rem’s character development in the demo seems underdeveloped and not optimally executed given that she is a) literally not human and b) as she herself points out is a shinigami who fundamentally does not understand why humans idealize romantic love.
Shinigami themselves in the context of this musical are not shown to idealize love within their own culture. Ryuk and Rem both seem to find it funny or baffling/futile indicating that this is not a culture that parallels human culture in its zealous overvaluation of romantic love as a be all end all goal of life. Shinigami, according to the musical’s own internal logic, are not amatonormative..
My pet peeve exists specifically because it is somewhat frustrating to me, an aroace person, when even non-humans who were very firm on not relating to romantic love (and yes, “Mortals and Fools” makes Rem come down more strongly on that side compared to “Zankoku na Yume”) and have no reason to inherently want to experience or idealize romantic love the same way human society normalizes it for humans, starts extolling the virtues of romantic love as the pinnacle of interpersonal relationships.
I can fully respect that this is not a pet peeve that most other people will have, or even be inclined to view from this perspective and that to many, none of these things matter and that’s fine! Just keep in mind that I would find this just as pet peeve-y if Rem were a male shinigami and would have no problems whatsoever with any of this had Rem been a human girl or if shinigami culture as a whole been portrayed differently in the musical itself. Also please note, I am only speaking for myself. I’m sure other aroace folk will have different opinions as well. Ironically enough, Rem in the final live version, I can more readily see as developing romantic feelings for Misa precisely because “Inochi no Kachi” was written the way it was and it is a damn shame that that is not the direction that was eventually taken with the character in the live productions as they seem to view Rem as having more maternal instincts. (…which, I’d again disagree is an inference of the manga, as I do think Rem’s feelings about Misa were very platonic in a ‘friends’-ish way rather than a parental way.)
tl;dr All I’m saying is that I think demo!Rem should have gotten more charater development, and it is a shame that she did not.
On a performative note – it is really odd that Rem’s voice is higher than Misa’s. I don’t think I’d make this call.
Borrowed Time
Adrienne delivers yet another killer performance!!
I know I said I wasn’t gonna make comparisons but I have to say that between “Borrowed Time” and “Inochi no Kachi” Borrowed Time is just so much more IC for manga!Misa.
I’m glad they based this song around something Misa actually said in the manga since that line “Just kill me. I was supposed to die that day anyway” is actually something that stuck with me for a very long time since it says so much about where Misa was in her life.
In the end, I guess I find it more convincing that Misa would be singing a song more centered around herself than singing a less me me me focused song about the virtues of sacrificial love as she ultimately is a person (in the manga) who is pretty selfish and focuses mostly on her own perspective.
Which is not to say that demo!Misa is really reflective of manga!MIsa because I don’t think that’s the case at all.
The Way It Ends
Blurgh more machine/tech metaphors and analogies from L…..I still don’t like this, sorry. He does not view himself as a robot in the manga, so it just comes out of left field for me.
I think the part of this song that lets me down is Jeremy’s delivery. He’s not !!!!!!! enough for what is supposed to be a victorious moment for Light. He has so much less energy and power than he did when he was singing Weather Metaphors, and it really shouldn’t be that way in my opinion.
On that last “a minute more.” Jeremy sounds weirdly remorseful, though I guess it’s hard to interpret the exact emotion behind that without an accompanying facial expression.
But speaking of delivery holy shit, Jarrod’s delivery as L is spot on. I’m kinda stunned by the range of emotion in his voice for this one: confusion, defiance, anger and that hint of regret that his life is coming to an end as he goes into “like a closing door.” It’s so… good??????
Overall I think the NY Demo is lovely and it has made me really happy to be able to listen to it after years of wondering what on earth it was like, lmao.
I know it sounds like I have a ton of gripes, but just keep in mind that a) even I consider these gripes pretty minor and they didn’t really hurt my enjoyment of the demo as a whole, and b) I think that adaptations have every right to make changes and take creative liberties with their source material. It’s important to do that in order to keep material fresh and bring in new thoughts and perspectives to the original.

Devil's Blade Unlimited Reading Sets by V Brett
Devil's Blade Unlimited Reading Sets - A hard-hitting and powerful action-adventure novel written by Peter V Brett - every fan of sword-and-stones will love this one! It's the ultimate sort of crossover, blending the ideas from classic Japanese stories with the fantastical tale of the blade. Peter V Brett brings all of his expertise to the tale of a young girl called Kiyo Suhi, who lives a sheltered life in Japan, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. One day, she finds herself transported to another world - a land populated by vicious beasts - in search of her long lost friend Yoruichi Shihoin.
On arrival, however, she's in for a nasty surprise... She is thrust into a dark fantasy world, where creatures known as "Kami" have taken up residence. The evil Bakugan forces are beginning to take over, and only the timely appearance of a mysterious warrior - mysterious yet powerful - can save the day. Using her amazing super-speed, Kiyo is able to battle the evil forces, and use the mysterious sword Lord Zorasu's sword to do so - but it is then that she discovers that she is also trapped inside the Sword of Truth itself.
There is another reason, too, why this wonderful story needs to be read by people of all ages... Because it doesn't have a happy ending. In fact, in the final scene, it seems as if all of the characters in the book have died - and none of them have gained happiness. Oh, well... they were all pretty fun to begin with, weren't they? Click here for more details about 鬼滅の刃漫画全巻
"Devil's Blade Unlimited Reading Sets" by Peter V Brett definitely has its moments of greatness - especially for those who enjoy reading Japanese fantasy. However, it just drags on way too fast, as if it's taking too long to get to the good stuff. Other than that, the characters are one-dimensional, the story's point is easily forgotten (at least by us Americans), and some of the fighting is too redundant.
One interesting thing about" Devil's Blade Unlimited Reading Sets" is that it makes an interesting sort of moral lesson. Although V Brett claims not to be a Christian, one wonders what sort of message he would send to young readers when telling them to read the Bible, especially when most Christians won't even take the time to get started with any Bible study material outside of what the Church preaches. Or worse, refuse to listen to any non-Christian religious fanfiction. It's almost like telling young-atheists that the only moral values they'll find in books about the Crusades and the Book of Job are the same as the Christian writers believe in. Except that Brett's work doesn't take the Bible literally at all and even praises the very same Bible that he decries in his novel.
For someone who considers himself a "secular humanist," I found that there really wasn't anything special about reading Brett's book. The story itself was predictable, and I'd have liked more twists or turns. However, in all honesty, I've read hundreds of Christian fantasy novels, and I've never come across anything like" Devil's Blade Unlimited Reading Set." If you're a Christian, this one's a must-read. If you're anything like me, it's a quick read and easy to read. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys good Christian fiction, especially those who enjoy "hard-core" Fantasy novels, but are tired of the same old stuff.

Opposites Attract (Tenzo/Anko)
Kakashi jerked awake, alarm bells ringing in the back of his mind. Darkness bathed his bedroom, and for a moment the disorientation kept him still. Then, remembering what woke him, he pushed to his feet and dragged on a shirt, mask, and pants. Someone had tripped the protective seals in his office. There was no good reason for anyone to be there this time of night.
After gathering his armor and weapons, Kakashi shunshined out of his apartment. He didn't go directly to the office; rather, he picked a spot in the hallway and paused there in case the intruder could sense chakra. Feeling no reaction to his presence, the man padded silently across the floor. The heavy door muffled most sound, but Kakashi leaned close, straining to hear anything. At first, only silence greeted him. Then, a moan reached his ears.
Eyebrows raising at the unexpected sound, Kakashi stood to his full height. Occasionally, some of the younger shinobi got the idea that breaking into the Hokage's office would show their bravado, daring, or some other senseless trait. More often than not, it ended in disciplinary action. Relationships weren't exactly prohibited, but they were frowned upon until the genin and chunin showed some basic common sense. Kakashi highly doubted that anyone foolish enough to break into the Hokage's office for sex was thinking clearly.
Steeling himself against the lecture he'd have to give, Kakashi pushed the door open with enough force that it bounced off the opposite wall. The form on his desk separated into two as the shinobi leapt apart, one flushing crimson while the other reached for a weapon.
"You should know bett-" The words died on Kakashi's lips as his brain finally caught up with his eyes. He looked dumbly at the woman sitting on his desk, then the man standing beside it in absolute shock. Once his mind began functioning again, Kakashi spun away from the pair, but he'd already seen far more than he wanted to. "I-you-" he paused, drawing a breath, "what the hell? What are you doing in my office?"
"Well you see," the woman began, voice ringing with laughter. "When a man and woman like each other very much-"
"What the hell," Kakashi repeated as he turned back around. Mitarashi Anko had managed to pull the Hokage robe around her body, sheathing it from chest to knees, for which he was thankful. More shocking than finding Anko in his office, however, was the man beside her. "I could have expected this from Genma, but not you," Kakashi sputtered, disbelief coloring his words.
Tenzo's face flamed in the moonlight as he moved the Hokage's hat to cover himself. "I can explain."
One Hour Earlier
"I'm bored," Anko complained, drumming her fingers against the table, between the empty glasses of alcohol. Tenzo stared at her from the opposite side, a slight smile curling his lips. He caught Anko's wrist half a second before she realized the look in his eye. Tugging lightly, Tenzo stood and drew her close. The look of heated surprise in her eyes flooded his chest with longing as he met their lips together. Alcohol flavored the embrace.
"I could think of a few things to occupy your time," Tenzo chuckled, pulling Anko more firmly into him.
Anko gave him a cheeky grin and pushed her hands on his shoulders, making him take a step backward. "It's cute that you think it would be that easy." Her fingers trailed dangerously down his stomach, curling against the button of his pants.
"It usually is," Tenzo laughed.
With another curving smile, Anko appraised him. "Let's make a game out of it. You've got some tracking skills from your Anbu days. Find me, and I'll reward you. Don't, and you'll have to see how your hand measures up."
"That isn't even-" Tenzo realized he was speaking to an empty room, Anko had already disappeared. Growling under his breath, the man shook his head, then finished his glass of sake. He needed something strong to get him through this.
Tenzo struck out at Anko's apartment, but that hardly surprised him. She would never make a chase that easy. Peeking into the Rusted Kunai bar revealed no one of interest either, though Raido perked up at seeing him. It took Tenzo nearly fifteen minutes to beg off to continue his search. Not being a sensor made things more difficult, because he couldn't simply look for Anko's chakra signature. Instead, he was forced to rely on his own wit, a dangerous thing.
Anko's most familiar haunt was the dango stand in town, though surely, they were closed at this time of night. Tenzo glanced around the shadowed area before his eyes found her perched on the roof, body carefully disguised by the overhang from the neighboring building. Leaping upward to join her, Tenzo smirked. "Well, that wasn't so hard."
"It took you longer than I thought," Anko teased, then leaned in to kiss him. As ever, the touch temporarily halted the breath in Tenzo's lungs.
The pressure disappeared suddenly and Tenzo fell forward. One hand reached desperately, catching the edge of the roof to keep from slamming into the ground. The momentum swung his body into the building, knocking the air from his lungs. The puff of smoke from Anko's shadow clone dissipated in the evening breeze.
"Damn tease," Tenzo complained, allowing his body to drop smoothly to the ground. A sharp ache spidered away from the band of flesh where he'd hit the edge of the roof, but it wasn't enough to stop him. Now that he knew the game, it was simply a matter of elimination.
The next shadow clone waited in the alley where Anko had first shoved him against the wall to kiss him after a month-long mission together. Tenzo's head spun a second time, desperate for air when the clone repeated the desperate kiss. This time, a warm tongue pushed between his lips, dragging Tenzo toward oblivion. An expletive left his lips half a second after the clone did.
Anko had picked locations that were familiar to both of them in some way, so logically, the trend would continue. Tenzo prowled silently through the streets, looking for any sign of his playful lover. The academy stood in the distance, windows darkened and halls completely silent for once. Springs for the roof, Tenzo found his quarry by the water tanks. Moonlight caught Anko's purple hair, lightening it significantly and lending her curves a soft outline.
"I'm done playing games," Tenzo husked, fitting the warm body against his.
Anko offered her angelic smile, which almost certainly meant she had something devilish in mind. "Are you?" The purr rattled against Tenzo's chest as the woman pushed him onto the seat she'd just vacated. Knees came to rest on either side of his hips as she lowered onto his lap. "I thought you liked playing with me."
Tenzo closed his arms around her lithe form. "That's not the same thing at all."
Anko wore a shirt with a V-neck slit that dipped dangerously low, exposing the pale flesh of her breasts as they strained against the fabric. Tenzo dipped his head down, brushing his lips against the skin. Humming, Anko rolled her hips against his as encouragement. It worked. Flicking his tongue between them produced a sweeter sound, then a soft chuckle. "Don't hate me, just one left." Then, Tenzo's arms were empty.
Cursing fluently, a habit he'd picked up from Anko, Tenzo looked around the roof for a moment. Anko had become an instructor at the Academy, so it was natural that this would be one of the places that she'd lead him. Though, this was fantasy on her part. They'd never shared more than a heated, rushed kiss here. Of course, that had been enough to leave them tearing off clothes the moment she got to his apartment later that evening. They'd ventured into the realm of fantasy now.
Tenzo ran through the memories quickly, trying to find the last piece to the puzzle. They'd talked about the academy and places far beyond the reach of Konoha. Unless...
"Oh Kami," Tenzo breathed. "Please don't be that stupid." His feet led him toward the Hokage's office. Anko had mentioned wondering how many times the desk had become a bed in the heat of the moment, and it was just dangerous enough to tempt her.
Prowling through the silent building, Tenzo stopped outside the door the led to Kakashi's office. It was locked, as he'd expected, but a little bit of work with his mouton had it swinging inward silently. For a moment, the moonlight through the wall of windows made him blink stupidly. Then, Anko did. The woman reclined on the desk, elbows supporting her body as she watched the door. Anko's clothing was piled haphazardly on the floor, and she wore nothing except the Hokage's hat.
"This is such a bad idea," Tenzo murmured, crossing the room on silent feet. "What if you'd tripped an alarm or something."
"There weren't any," Anko pouted. "I waited until you were done with my last shadow clone before coming in. If there were alarms, I'd have heard them."
The woman on the desk stretched, and Tenzo licked his lips nervously. "But we shouldn't. We really shouldn't. What if Kakashi finds out?"
"Oh come on," Anko sat up in a decidedly distracting manner. "Haven't you ever thought about doing it here? You've stood guard often enough."
Tenzo made the mistake of straying closer to the desk. He didn't need the glint in Anko's eyes to tell him he was in trouble. The woman dropped the hat on his head. "You've thought about it, haven't you, Tenzo-sama?" Anko's voice purred his name with unfamiliar title, making his breath hitch.
Anko caught Tenzo's shirt, dragging it free from his pants as she circled him with hands and legs. "You've thought about being Hokage," she guided him closer, removing the hat long enough to pull off the shirt beneath. "You'd like to take me on this desk." The woman leaned in, flicking her tongue against Tenzo's ear in a way that made him shudder.
"You like the danger, the risk of being caught," Anko continued in that soft purr that made Tenzo forget how to think logically. He pushed against her, crushing their lips together as her fingers rushed to pull off the rest of Tenzo's clothes.
Kicking off his shoes, Tenzo closed his arms around Anko's back and pushed her onto the desk. "Say it again," he commanded softly, catching her collarbone with his teeth.
Anko obediently arched against Tenzo's body as he crawled onto the desk. "I want you, Hokage-sama."
Tenzo shifted to his opposite foot, face flushing deeper as he pushed the memory away. "Then, one thing kind of led to another and-"
Kakashi held up one hand. "I can see where it led, thank you."
"Come on, Kakashi," Anko laughed, clutching the Hokage cloak closer to her chest. "You can play too."
Tenzo's entire face crimsoned at the insinuation as he turned toward Anko who laughed at his expression. "We were working on being more adventurous, and a threesome is an excellent-"
"Burn the cloak and the hat," Kakashi interrupted, pink tinting his own cheeks. "Have new ones made. And Tenzo, remake the desk, identical to the First Hokage's so no one can tell the difference. Then burn that too. And for Kami's sake, put some clothes on."
The door had barely shut behind the disgruntled Hokage before Anko burst into laughter and grinned at Tenzo. "We could just take the desk home," she teased, pulling him into a kiss.
Groaning, Tenzo shook his head. "You're going to be the death of me, one day," he complained against her plush lips.
"Yeah," Anko agreed cheerfully. "But, what a way to go."

Life of a Hacker - EP4
Pano to? Sa tamang "halaga" malalaman mo hehe! Madami akong proofs baka kasi akalain niyong sobrang fiction naman nito hehe! Dito sa panahon na to ako naka buo ng "Dream PC" ko. Hindi ganon kaganda kumpara sa mga naglalabasang parts ngayon pero eto ung list.

RAM : x2 8GB RipJaws 2888 mHz
Video Card : nVidia GTX 1080 TI

Wolf Among Us, Batman Arkham Series, Life is Strange 1 na na scam ako ng 350 Pesos kasi naging free ang Episode 1 tapos ang sabi pa sa announcement sa Steam lahat ng nag purchase dati makukuha ang Full Game ng Life is Strange nung naging free ito. Bakit ung account ko hindi? Badtrip.
