        “You don't belong here, do you?” Vasilisa tilts her head to the side. She stands in amongst a patch of thorny briars, a collection of herbs and flowers in the basket that hangs from her arm and rests against her hip. She eyes the stranger that's come to the Baba Yaga's wood, and the odd attire he wears. “Are you lost?”

        “How about a wolf with the tail of a lizard and the wings and talons of a hawk?” Vasilisa can be plenty creative, when the occasion calls for it. If he prefers to shapeshift into something more chimerical, she's hardly going to argue with him about it. But he seems determined to remain humanoid for the time being, so she sighs and waves the idea off for next time. “Of course I have what we need. You think I can't do a scavenger hunt?” Most of the ingredients had needed visible identification, but Lissa has a good eye for plants. “What's this potion meant to do again?”

“ A wolf? ” An aghast look of annoyance before he addresses her again. “ I believe you have me confused with a vukodlak (werewolf). While the people imagined me as a dragon in some of their little fables, and there was one village where they had worshiped me as a mixture of a snake and bear. And odd mixture for sure, but a fun one. I was never a simple wolf. ” A scoff before adding. “ I think an animal would bring too much attention. We should stick to my human form for now, and if that fails…well we can reconsider. Now, do you have the other ingredients that we will need, or is that something I will also have to be in charge of? ”
