Black v Red: The Blood War
The following is the origin story of the Black and Red Diamond characters:
The Legend of the “Blood War”:
Black Diamond vs. Red Diamond
10,000 years ago, the colony of Earth was founded by its original master, Black Diamond. Legend states that when White was born from the remnants of a star, Black was formed from the endless darkness of a black hole. Twin founders of Homeworld and its people, they are yin and yang, Life and Death. Soon came Yellow, Blue, Pink and Red Diamond, and each contributed her own to the creation of a new society on the barren planet. All the while, Black too had mothered her own creations as well, who lived in the shadows, waiting to destroy it all. In the burgeoning Gem culture, however, even destruction and death held a purpose in their society.
In reality, Black was not a god, but a vampire. Made of darkness, she could not be nourished by light like her bright sister, but instead found a source of energy from within their own children. Like the story of Kronos humans would later create, Black Diamond would eat Gems; specifically, she would feast on a Gems “blood”, the life-giving fluid that formed the gem originally, still encased in the hardened shape itself. Black’s fangs could penetrate the surface and dissolve the solid core back into its liquid state. This actually proved useful to the Diamonds, to effectively eliminate their flawed or obsolete creations. Like the dreaded human monster she would inspire, the Diamond could also make slaves of those she did not completely kill. This is what she did to Black Pearl, the first and only Gem Ghoul, her master’s strong and obedient puppet.
Black Diamond’s cruel and fearsome reputation grew as the Diamonds decided to expand their empire. Black’s army, “The Crystal Skulls”, were brutally efficient killers, eliminating an organic planet’s population sometimes within days. They were led by the skeletal visage of Obsidian, and included the lupine Howlite, the chiropteran Bloodstone, arachnid Sphalerite, the demonic duo of Sulfur and Brimstone, and the deceitful Black Sapphire. As her death march continued through the universe, the vampire’s arrogance grew as well. She ruled Homeworld through fear, even from her fellow Diamonds. Despite her unquestioned tyrannical superiority, Black had never claimed ownership of a Gem colony, until the eon’s long imperial conquests had entered the Milky Way galaxy, and the invaders discovered the resource rich planet of Earth.
Earth was populated by a unique, primitive and superstitious type of intelligent organic life, human beings. Black Diamond and her gems developed a particularly sadistic interest in the primates’ developed sense of fear. Feeling like her own horrific playground, the Death Diamond quickly staked her claim of the new colony. Feeling invincible, Black defies procedure and instead focuses on exploiting the emotions of her new conquests rather than preparing the planet for a Gem colony. She and “The Crystal Skulls” run rampant across Earth, inciting chaos and fear so great, it is passed across generations of humans, inspiring the myths for legendary creatures like werewolves and demons. When details of the chaotic rebellion reaches the Diamond Authority on Homeworld; courtesy of Pink’s feline spy, Tiger’s Eye, the sisters were incensed. Made livid by her open defiance, Blue and Yellow decide it’s finally time to take action against the elder Diamond. White is indecisive, conflicted over the thought of destroying a fellow Diamond, and twin at that. Yellow Diamond then seizes command, and declares war against the monstrous Black Diamond. Truth be told though, her sisters still regarded the vampire with fear and had some doubts whether their own gems could defeat the army terrorizing Earth. That’s when the remaining Diamond Authority calls upon an unlikely hero, Red Diamond.
Red was known as the “Blood Diamond”, and was the youngest and smallest of her brethren, a complement to the compassionate yet child-like Pink Diamond. She held little authority because of this, and thrived on Homeworld in the capacity of a spiritual healer, especially for those injured by Black and her nightmarish creations. With the addition of Red’s own enlightened soldiers, “The Vermillion Vanguard”; led by the Dragon warrior Cinnabar and including the original water elemental, Coral, Yellow knew Red had the greatest chance of resisting Black, after White herself. Like her close companion, Pink, Red Diamond felt inferior to her elder sisters, and longed for a chance to prove her power. Believing the attack on Earth to be that moment, the Blood Diamond eagerly accepted the task, despite an overwhelming fear of the Death Diamond’s reputation. Knowing that the fate of the empire laid on her diminutive shoulders however, that fear swiftly transformed into rage and hatred, and the first war for Earth; later known as “The Blood War”, began.
Though not as lengthy or memorable as the Rose Quartz Rebellion that would follow in the coming millennia, the conflict between Black and Red Diamond still left an impact, most prominently on the human population, who became both witnesses and casualties. The arrival of “The Vermillion Vanguard” and their equally monstrous, yet heroic members, further ignited early humanity’s imagination, inspiring the stories of not only more monsters, but gods and saviors that would be passed through to written language and beyond. Stories of struggles with overcoming impossible odds against seemingly immortal foes, fallen soldiers rising from the dead and legions of monsters spreading chaos and destruction being challenged by figures coming down from the sky. For centuries, Death and Blood were blind to all the ramifications being wrought by their endless struggle, fueled by power and rage. Observing it all from her base, White Diamond’s personal struggle became overbearing. She was torn by her feelings of loyalty and love for the Diamonds and their Gem children, and by her logical and strategic side that begged for her to prevent the loss of the highly valuable colony. The current generations of Homeworld still believe that the mental conflict became so great within her, that White would never be the same. In her madness, she decides it is time to end to the war, permanently.
White Diamond dispatches her ultimate warrior; the archangel fusion of the angelic solder White Quartz and the brilliant yet fierce metallic alchemist gargoyle, Silver, Angel Aura Quartz, to use her power on the Earth gems. In what the humans would later interpret as “Final Judgement”, Angel Aura’s power spread over the battlefield, shattering those who were corrupted by the hand of Black Diamond, and sparing those who selflessly risked their lives against them. The shining Quartz’s attack did not spare the Diamonds themselves either. Black and Red were not shattered, but rather rendered inert, robbed of their physical forms and conscious thought, buried by the ravages of time.
The survivors; Cinnabar, Coral, Spessartine, Pigeon Blood Ruby and Hematite, who are better known as the mighty fusion Sunstone, Red Phantom Quartz, Tiger’s Eye and Orange Sapphire, would all find renewed purpose and occasionally new forms, on Homeworld. Even though not all survived to the current era, their stories and reputations remain both on their original planet and the organic Earth that still stands nearly unchanged to this day. Ultimately, the Diamonds as well would not be forgotten in either place. After being hidden for millennia, both the inactive shapes of Red and Black Diamond were uncovered by humans in the twentieth century. Renowned for their beauty, the handlers were unaware that remnants of the Diamonds’ powers remained, and the aura of the gems would affect their lives. The small Red Diamond earned the moniker “The Red Shield”, and is known for its continuing protective abilities, while in contrast, the Black “Orlov Diamond” gained infamy for causing tragedy and misfortune. Only on Homeworld do their true origins remain spoken, serving as a warning to those who defy White Diamond.

Is this Single Verse? Multiverse?
Officially, this is  Multiverse Blog. The main canon of this blog is canon-divergent: Pinky exists as Pink Diamond, and not as a conduit for Steven’s power. However, she can interact with Stevens, “Rebellion Rose Quartzes”, and Pink Diamonds of other alternative universes.
In this verse, Pink formed after the formation of the Diamond Authority. She was introduced by Blue Diamond as one of her ‘protege’. In my headcanon, the Authority is about 75,000 years old, Pink is about 50,000. Pink’s court, meanwhile, is far younger and she didn’t have it as long.
Here is the list of  verses:
v: Pre-Earth
Time period between Pink Diamond’s emergence and when the Authority grants her her first planet. Pink Diamond’s first in canon experience fits snugly into this verse.
She’s found by Blue Diamond on Earth and is inducted into the Authority as a conduit for some of Blue Diamond’s objectives. They aren’t much, just keeping White Diamond engaged and making Yellow Diamond learn more patience.
However, Pink Diamond is shielded from a lot of the inner running of the authority, she’s stunted as an effect. Pink starts to actively defy her sisters in secret: stealing their injectors, playing around with making gems, sneaking into the logs, interacting with lower ranked gems. A lot of shenanigans and sand boxing in this verse.
v: Pink Court
Blue Diamond grants Pink her own planet and, subsequently, her own court.  This verse ends when the rebellion begins. She still has her court, of course, but the rebellion brought many of her projects to an end.
By this verse, Pink has calmed down a lot and is focusing on specializing. She is learning more about her area of choice, Astrobiology, and develops most of her contributions to the Authority. This is when she makes Rubies and Rose Quartz.
v: Rebellion
Pink Diamond was established as a figurehead over Earth. It becomes clear she has no real power, so she orchestrates a “rebellion” in a bid to get more resources to expand her small colony. However, the Authority steps in and forces Pink to abandon her holdings on Earth and retreat to the Moon Base. After several thousand years of imprisonment, Pink then decides to stage her “assassination attempt" to reclaim the Earth in a bid to release the Earth.
She defies her sisters to go to Earth, trying to negotiate with the “renegade Rose Quartz”, she calls Kappa 12, a modified Rose Quartz she uses to insight the rebellion.
With Kappa 12′s help, Pink flees to the Korean peninsula. Pink Diamond is then free to create her grand experiment, forming this Universe’s country of Korea and shutting down the continent completely. This verse ends when the Corruption Song is used on Earth. Kappa 12 and all other gems in Pink’s are the Crystal gems. However, Steven does not exist in her verse.
v: Post Rebellion
Period after the Corruption Song but before the Modern times. Pink spends her time trying to figure out how to cure corruptions and continuing her work on astrobiology. She eventually figures out how to embed gems into Earth’s underground biomes, gradually spreading her influence. Trees begin to grow up that have gems inside of them, staying in bloom even in the Winter.
v: Pink Peach
Set in the modern verse. Pink Diamond has now taken on punk rock in her exploits. Mainly because it’s fun.
She remains hidden from the Authority, working on ways to “out evolve” them.
Of course, I will tag my verses and AUs appropriately!
You can find the list of the AUs here: Tagged AUS

Seditionis Adamas
V
Blue was surprisingly good at tactical simulators for a Diamond whose focus was diplomacy and culture.
Domina tried not to dwell too much on that as she moved her simulated Quartzes into place.
“Yellow has finally ceased the search for Rose Quartz’s offspring,” Blue Diamond said “she seems to be putting things back to normal”
“Well that is is good.” Domina said, she had noticed a lingering tension among the three of them. No one knew how much any of the others knew. Domina knew that Blue and Yellow were aware that she had been to Earth repeatedly and was trying to protect it for some reason. Domina knew that Blue and Yellow knew about Steven. Yellow and Domina knew how Pink diamond had died. Blue and Domina knew that Yellow was keeping something from her, but did Blue suspect that Domina was too?
All these mind games left Domina with headaches more days than not. She was enjoying getting to know Blue Diamond though, Blue was much more amenable to shrinking down to Domina’s size, unlike Yellow, she also actually listened to Domina when she talked about the colonies or her father.
And really, speaking with Blue was like speaking with someone on the complete opposite end of the empire. Sure Domina had been travelling to different planets all her life but she never dealt with any native inhabitants unless they were trying to eat her.
Blue Diamond though spoke of other civilizations as advanced as the empire, of peace talks and trade deals. Blue even introduced her to new classes of gems she hadn’t had much interaction with. Diplomats, translators and linguists, though her meetings with these gems were always poisoned with the tension that having two diamonds in the room brought.
“Tell me Domina have you come across anything in your mother's logs?” Blue Diamond asked. She had moved her pieces back in what looked like a retreat, but earlier moves had made it so Domina could only move hers forward, and a trap looked to have been set.
“No I have not.” Domina said, there was no use in elaborating, since seeing the video White Diamond had left her a year ago she had completely stopped reading the logs.
“Pity.” Blue said, her face had tightened slightly. “I have not been too successful on my front either. I just..” She sighed. “What I wouldn’t give for answers”.  Domina felt Blue Diamond’s emotions radiate off of her and wiped her eyes free of her own tears. She still was not used to the other diamonds emotional projection but she did feel as if they were weakening, perhaps the Diamond was healing? Perhaps it would help if she revealed the accident her mother had been a part of that had caused pink diamonds demise. Domina pushed that thought aside, Yellow had asked her not to.
The wave of emotion subsided and Domina gently put a hand overtop Blue’s own.
“I’m sorry.” She said. “I’m sure we’ll find answers” She gave Blue a smile which the diamond gratefully returned.
“You remind me of her much of her.” Blue said. Domina didn’t bother to ask who, Blue rarely spoke about Domina’s mother. “You have her enthusiasm and energy.” Her smile faded and she stared off into space. “I have to wonder if Yellow appreciated those aspects.” Domina froze, hand hovering over the piece she was about to move, the one that had been backed into a corner.
“You don’t think Yellow would have....” She said not even able to finish the thought. True, Yellow Diamond was impatient, and on occasion impulsive. She didn’t control her temper well but honestly, those things could be said about any one of the diamonds.
Blue Diamond hummed noncommittally and moved her final piece, a sapphire that was normally ineffectual for most of the game, cinching her victory.
“I don’t know who I can trust.” Blue Diamond said. “You have to be able to empathise with me on that front.” She gave Domina a thin smile, and Domina thought back to last year, discovering the truth about the war for Earth, about being locked out of all available information on that period of gem history.
Domina smiled back.
****
Trans galaxy warping was always a bit of an odd experience compared to a domestic warp. Sure it was faster than flying but, for those with hard light bodies, a galaxywarp stream was like falling through a wind tunnel. Pearl usually could talk Domina into just flying between colonies but warping was faster and Domina was excited. 36-JK8, newly named Omega 6, had just been hooked up to the galaxy warp system meaning that her Diamond finally had an excuse to visit the fleet.
The pair exited the warp stream, and Domina leapt off the warp pad to tackle Mossy Agate and Milky Quartz 9ZQ. Pearl paused briefly on the crystalline pad to straighten her clothes and put her hair back in order.
“So good to see you guys! Who configured the warp is that 9NY’s work?” Domina asked, “It was smooth, well It was at least smooth from my perspective.” She cast a mischievous grin at Pearl. Pearl’s smile ghosted onto her face but didn’t linger as she saw a flash of the smile Domina had had for the court after sentencing Mauve’s components.
Pearl followed Domina through the day, like she always did. The Diamond had meetings with the various colony overseers, spires to tour, new transfers from Blue Diamond’s court to meet and old friends to catch up with. And as usual Pearl faded into the background, sometimes she fought to keep her mind busy, this time however her mind was already racing with worry.
They were bringing in the Crystal Gems for this. Them and Jet and Her were going to break into the white districts main cell block, one of the most secure prisons on Homeworld. And they were going to get Mauve back. All of the sudden those horrible thoughts about Domina finding out about what was going on were once again bubbling to the surface.
Domina entered the Quartz’s practice room and Pearl slipped away. Her and Mossy Agate had been in contact of course. Mossy was the gem in charge of the lead section of the fleet over everyone and everything but the Beyrls who were the colony managers proper, really an out of place position for an Agate but stories were told through the fleet about how the gem had clawed her way to the top and done everything in her power to stay there. Pearl didn’t know then, why Mossy would even consider helping the new rebellion. But she was.
“Somethings have been leaking into general circulation.” Pearl said once Mossy had shut the door to one of the storage rooms off one of the bases side hallways.
“Shards, has anyone traced it?”
“Not yet, Domina said she was going to take care of it but she has been... occupied.” Pearl said with pursed lips.
“Not surprising.” Mossy said. “What’s happened, you seem out of sorts.”
“Nothing for you to worry about.” Pearl said, Mossy raised an eyebrow.
“The side of things I can’t be trusted with I’m assuming?” She asked.
“That would be it.”
“Yes well don’t get yourself shattered in the process, as amusing as it would be to watch Domina attempt to onboard a new pearl it’s not worth the headache.” Mossy said. Pearl felt her gem go cold yet again and could hear the word ‘replaceable’ ringing through her head in Jet’s voice.
“Right. How inconvenient.” Pearl said trying to keep her voice even. Mossy opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by the door opening. Domina poked her head in.
“Uh...what are you two doing in here?” Domina asked looking between the two of them. Pearl looked at Mossy who looked back at Pearl and immediately realizes what this situation looked like.
“Nothing my Diamond, your Pearl was just assisting me in uh..” Mossy said frantically looking at Pearl.
“I was informing her of the materials from here that were reported leaking into Homeworld’s civilian market, we were just inspecting said materials.” Pearl said. Domina smiled, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes, she looked between the two again, with a hint of worry in her eyes but nodded.
“Good good, thanks for looking into that. I was just wondering if you were ready to go but if your still busy I can go back and talk to 9NY more, she was telling me about working on remotely accessing domestic warps and she can go on for hours for that so it's no is-”
“No no my Diamond we’re finished, I apologize for making you have to come look for me.” Pearl said hurriedly exiting the room.
“It’s alright,” Domina said moving to the side to let the two gems out, she looked between the two again. “Really.”

Who really Shattered Pink Diamond...
During the events of the “Back to the Moon”, we were all certain that Rose was the one that shattered Pink Diamond and started the rebellion on Earth. But during the events of “the Trail” the accusation of Rose Shattering Pink Diamond doesn’t make sense anymore.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pE6GRrLeSkg
please watch clip before reading this clip
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS JUST A THEORY AND IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH IT DO NOT PUT RUDE COMMENTS IN MY MAIL BOX PLEASE!
As Zircon had explained before the shattering of Pink Diamond had taken place Rose had been recognized as a threat for 700 years. In others words Rose Quartzs were already out lawed and bubble by Pink Diamond. So how did Rose get so close to Pink Diamond if everyone was already on guard for her. And the murder weapon was described to be Rose’s sword! But as it was said before by Bismuth she designed the sword to destroy the physical form but never the gem... But Blue Diamond was told that it was a sword. So it doesn’t make sense at all.
In fact the shattering of Pink Diamond was pinned on Rose Quartz, why you may ask because it was convenient for the real perpetrator! They had someone to blame and also they had the power to cover up the ordeal. Along with that it had to be someone who was close to her as well, someone who could have gotten her outside of her palanquin.
Zircon believed it had to have been a person in power and the only Diamond we have not seen in power is White Diamond and I believe she’s the one responsible for Pink Diamond death. But why? Why did she do it? The reason being is that Pink Diamond was not filling her role as a leader. The one who performed the deed was pearl... OUR PEARL!
From what we’ve seen from the gem society is that they believe in complete order and each gem must fill their role! The diamonds are leaders they are meant to thrive and expand their civilization. Pink Diamond is seen to be the youngest diamond, since see only started her one colony. And she failed at her duty to due so. I’m not talking about her shattering, I’m talking about what she did with the planet. Yes she created kindergartens and made new gems but she did something useless not benefitting Homeworld and fitting the model.
Tumblr media
I’m talking about the creation of the human zoo
She creating the human, she was capturing life wasting her resources, to study organic life. Of course the other diamonds would see them useless thing to do Yellow herself called the human zoo silly during “what’s the use of feeling Blue”.(The only reason Blue cares about humans is only because they have a connection to Pink). And from the detailed and well cared environment that the humans lived in she seemed more occupied with the zoo than creating her colony (she was still invested in creating it but was doing something on the side to put it in perspective).
That was her first mistake as a Diamond. The second mistake that Pink made was letting Rose go rouge. From what Zircon had said Rose Quartz gems were already an outlaw after Rose went against Pink, And what did Pink decided to do.
Tumblr media
She deicides to bubble all the Rose Quartz and not destroy them. Now we’ve seen how harsh the Diamonds can be and how strict they are. And from what we got from other gems everyones afraid of making a mistake in the fear of getting shattered by the Diamonds who they see as godly beings. But Pink didn’t not excises her power enough and was too soft. And she couldn’t even get one of her soldiers under control. She showed mercy to all these Rose Quartz gems which is a sign of weakness.  From that description she didn’t seem fit to rule as a Diamond and that’s why she ordered Pink’s demise.
I also believe that’s why Yellow was acting so weird during the trail like she knew something. Like she knew something about it; I think knew the truth and was just protecting Blue. And it also explains why Yellow she’s trying so hard to get Blue to move on she knows what White Diamonds capable of and doesn’t want the same thing to happen to Blue, to be seen as an unfit ruler and gets shattered by White Diamond.
Okay now that’s done let’s get to Pearl side of the story.
The reason why I believed that it was a pearl is because what gem is more closer to a Diamond than a pearl. Zircon said it herself that it had to be someone close to her. Pearls are with their owners 24/7 they are able to see them at their strongest and their weakest. And they’re the only gems that are able to be alone with their Diamonds so a pearl could know the perfect time to strike since they’re with them all the time.
And it had to be our Pearl that did it. And why because she was originally white Diamonds Pearl and she was given to Pink. There is evidence that she is White Diamonds Pearl her gem is in the same placement as white’s along with her color in the Answer the color that represented her was white. Though you all maybe asking “but how did she end up with Pink”.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHLz6HF-Lrc
Listen to this and Zircon’s imitation and try to tell me that doesn’t sound familiar to each other.
Tumblr media
Watch out my Diamond!!!
The way Zircon said tried to imitate “Pink Diamond’s Pearl”  it sounds very similar to how dramatic our Pearl is. Remember during the trail case, when Zircon said “and where was her Pearl” Take notice how yellow and blue pearl when Zircon said that’s why was would they react like that when Zircon said “pink diamond’s pearl”...because they knew that she was really white Diamonds pearl our Pearl.  Now wait I have an explanation my reasoning.
Tumblr media
I believed that they knew because they were high ranking pearls.
Tumblr media
Pink was still a young diamond she didn’t know anything  so White Diamond gave her Pearl to Pink. And during the time Pink thought it made sense since she was a beginner it would make sense that she would be sent her attendant that knew how White Diamond worked to help her further her training into becoming leader. This experience Pearl would guide  her through her next colony so she was told...
But what Pink didn’t know was that White Diamond had disowned her pearl. For what ever the reason our pearl was considered defective or maybe failed job for White Diamond.  Whatever the reason White saw our was unfit she  tossed her away. That could explain why Pearl is such a perfectionist, or so OCD because she was traumatized by it and swore to be perfect from now on. It took such a toll on Pearl mentally that she thinks so lowly of herself and always has to prove herself. That’s why Pearl was so dedicated in fighting for Rose she was scared to be thrown away again. She was under Pink but was still loyal to White.
Tumblr media
Pearl is really torn up...
When White ordered the death on Pink she had ordered Pearl to do it; White had told Pearl that if she did this for her she would accept her back into her court and she would be her Pearl again. That’s why pearl is presented as this desperate individual; remember she was willing to do anything for Rose and even die for her. That’s the type of person she is whose’s to say that she wasn’t willing to destroy another Diamond to get back to her original owner. And we all know how desperate Pearl is sometimes...
And how she did it was simple she would lie to Pink Diamond that there was a problem with the palanquin and would have her step outside to fix it.... I say this because look at the position of the palanquin it looks like it crashed the way it was setup. It was close enough for gems to see the act happened but not close enough for others to see what happened. I say this because Eyeball said she “saw” Rose Quartz shatter Pink Diamond but we don’t know how close she was she may have saw a figure that looked like a Rose Quartz
And after getting her caught off guard Pearl shaped shifted into Rose Quartz and shattered her from the front. After that White Diamond pulled a few strings and a few gems say they saw Rose Quartz did it. I know Pearl’s a small gem but with White Diamond ordered it so surely she’s know the secret in shattering a Diamond since she was one herself....
Pearl was given the order and she did it everything was swept under the rug Rose was blamed and she completed her mission. However White lied to her and she wasn’t taking her back because she was still defective and assigning her a new owner when she got back. Everything she did was for nothing and she felt like she had no purpose. That’s why when Pearl said when she served “Homeworld”, because she techinally betrayed her owners.
How Rose found her way to pearl was that Rose was trying to find out the her culprit that shattered. Then along the way she discovered it was no-other than our Pearl that destroy Pink Diamond. Instead of being upset she was surprised that a little could accomplish something like that. Pearl would tell her story and Rose would grow found and attached with her story. Pearl would call herself self a defective and say she wasn’t good enough saying “Who would want me...” And Rose being the person she is took in Pearl, despite everything she did in framing her. She saw pearl as a strong ally to have for the fight against Homeworld and well Pearl fell in love with Rose as a result.
Tumblr media
That’s why Rose took the blame to defend Pearl. And it you don’t believe me that it was Pearl that shattered look at how she reacted when Eyeball said that she saw Rose Shatter pink Diamond (in back to the moon) she’s shaking like crazy and scared because she’s the one who really did it. And take note that she’s the only one in the show that hasn’t shape shifted it seemly that Pearl avoids it at all cost; this could be due to the guilt she has in transforming into Rose Quartz.
Though there is on piece of evidenced that I believe proves my theory that Pearl belonged to White Diamond and lied to her that she could go back her if she shattered Pink Diamond.
You see this...
Tumblr media
I always though that pearl getting stabbed had symbolic meaning and now that all the pieces have been putt together it does. Holo Pearl represents White Diamond stabbing Pearl in the back. Promising that she could come back to her and serve if she did what she shattered pink Diamond but she didn’t keep her word. Then the place wear Pearl is stab is the stomach... the same place that Pink Diamonds gem was. Rebecca Sugar foreshadowed this since the start of the series it was Pearl, under white Diamonds orders.
But hey that’s just a theory and as I said before if you disagree be polite.
