The angel of Ephesus is  a divine messenger described in the Bible's Revelation 2:1-7.The angel is said to speak words of encouragement and challenge people to live in the present, recover their first love, and keep their love for God and each other alive. The angel also offers a banquet of the tree of life, which includes nourishment, the crumbs of life's experiences, and the juice of every situation.  In Revelation 1-3, John is told to write to the "angels" of seven churches in Asia Minor, including the church in Ephesus. The angel of Ephesus is described as "The One with Seven Stars in his right-fist grip, striding through the golden seven-lights' circle". The angel is said to know the church's deeds, hard work, and patience, and that they cannot tolerate evil. However, Jesus threatens to remove the church's lampstand (or church) from Ephesus if the angel fails to repent. 

One cannot discuss the dictates of the Talmud without considering the Revelation of Saint John which predicts "all will be well" by the end of its exceptionally complex Torah.

The bizarre and twisting turning style of the Talmud seems like it would be the work of such a being which is hardly of one mind about very much of anything except the end of the End Times.

In 9a:23 we see it giving us directions that are sound, like the rest of its script as to what to do after we accept the fact the Mashiach is a "complex Day" with all the Seven Days are always taking place somewhere at once, within Three Shifts, always, always.

Even still there must be one morning after called the Age of the Mashiach. For this to have a measurable outcome, then we have to follow the Mishnah form for a Tanya, a special form called a Datanya, "the data please....show me I am the I am."

The martyrs under the altar in the Book of Revelation are Jews who were killed proclaiming the necesseties of Shabbat and the Mashiach. God promises to avenge them.

A seal, 116, אה, is an "ah" a gathering of Jewish people. The Fifth Seal is 245, אתה, in the, "Are you who you say you are?"

9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.

The Values in Gematria are:

v. 9: He opened the Fifth Seal. The Number is 8560, ח‎הס‎, hhs, "the ratio, the attitude adjustment." This has to do with our height on the corkscrewing Torah Timeline.

v. 10: How long until you judge? The Number is 9100, ץק ,תא' "check in the locker in the stateroom."

v.11: They were told to wait a little longer.

In Shmot, God tells Moses and Aaron to wait until the Israelites fall much more deeply in love with making bricks all day and decide to listen to them.

In Behaalotekha, God says we cannot wait too long to make our final Report, however:

The Number for the verse in Revelation is 13918, יג‎טאח‎‎, "will sweep."

No, we are not going to sweep away the righteous in our effort to rid the world of the inglorious to Thine Sight. That is not at all going to be a problem.

So the Gemara for this passage, a Datanya explains how and why we cannot just maintain our way of life or even prove the Torah is right and tell everyone to behave for the sake of everyone and everything else forever and ever.

There are the dead to avenge, three thousand years worth, and there are centuries ahead of times that will yet be ceremonially unclean until we figure out how to stop the Third World War, reverse climate change and raise the Number.

The Tanya here then is really more of a question for the current generation, have you had enough yet? Now is the time for the Report. And all the smart ones will know which Report to give.

Scorpios and The 8th House as The Little Mermaid

Today I was doing a reading for a client today then a brand new way of looking at the 8th house and Scorpio energy dawned on me.

Whenever we talk about the possessive nature of scorpio and the 8th house the main thing that we get out of it is how Scorpios can in turn turn themsleves into Matyrs in the name of love.

The 2H-8H axis is the Mine v Yours axis as I constantly say. Scorpio (if unchecked) has the capability to give up every defining characteristic about itself in the name of fusing and becoming one with its partner, because to Scorpio, they no longer exist as an individual… but as a piece of a unit with their person.

People talk about how Libra/Cancer/Pisces placements do this but never talk about Scorpio as if it’s not the literal house of merging. They, just like Ariel, give up their voice for their partners in the name of love because in their mind the sacrifice is worth it. That’s one thing they’re giving up to mesh with their person and become one.

The issue and naïveté comes when they expect others to always reciprocate this. What happens when you shed every piece of your skin to make way for this new person but they don’t reciprocate your efforts? Now you’re lost and will have a very difficult time finding your way back because you’ve become so meshed with this person. You don’t see yourself as yourself anymore but as a piece of a greater puzzle also known as Your Idealized Romance With Them.

Think of how in the movies when ppl go down unfamiliar paths they leave a trail to find their way back except in this instance the trail is literally your own identity.. except newsflash you’ve essentially gotten rid of everything that makes you You to become A Couple. It’s hard for you to even try to make your way back to what you used to be because you yourself forgot what that even was.

I think that’s why I find the Scorpio Taurus axis so interesting and why I emphaize scorpio placement relying on their Taurus counterparts. i will refrain from the second question since the cast does react to your parents in-game! so to answer the first:

Gabe would let this go on, but once you're actually friends he'd just get fed up with it one day. While you're making some subtle self-sacrifice, he'd interrupt you and stop everything to talk to you about it (or at you, depending on how you take it lol). "Stop that. Just—stop."

Kile would be super annoyed. Not annoyed at the MC but annoyed by the self-sacrificing tendency itself. Martyrdom is some shit (they claim) they cannot comprehend.

Jack, Jessie, and Vi (in some ways) are the same so they get it. Jack understands how self-sacrifice can be detrimental but can't really help himself so he wouldn't really know what to say to you. Jessie can't stop and doesn't even realize she could do well with some moderation. Vi would be actively biting their tongue not to push back against such behavior since they have little room to talk.

Rain's got a pretty local mentality, so they're cynical and disapproving of such an attitude. They'd be subtly pushing you to indulge in more selfish impulses and prioritize finding out what you want in a certain situations.

R would admire this about you but start laying down little rules for you to get you to stop sacrificing your own happiness, if nothing else. Similar to Rain in a way, but they're far more blatant about it. They might launch into a rant or two about selfish parents and anarchy 😂😂

Heidi is morally opposed to martyrdom, despite the cross around her neck 😅 She wouldn't be able to take a self-sacrificing MC seriously in almost any way outside of academic achievements. The Order of the Garter was created on April 23rd, 1344 & was created to help King Edward’s claim to the French throne. The Order is dedicated to Saint George because he is the Patron Saint of England. The Most Noble Order of the Garter was inspired by the Spanish Order of the Band, which was created in 1330.

The earliest mention of The Most Noble Order of the Garter was mentioned in Tirant to Blanch by Joanot Martorell, a chivalric romance piece of literature (A literary genre of high culture), which was written in Catalan (Now called Valencian Language) in 1490. King Edward III’s wardrobe shows that Garter habits first issued in 1348. The Middle English poem “Sir Gawain & the Green Knight,” which was written in the late 14th century, mentions The Most Noble Order of the Garter. In the poem, a girdle is very similar to a garter (in an erotic way). The poem also mentions a different version of the Order’s motto which is written “Corsed worth cowarddyse and couetyse bope,” which translates to “Cursed be both cowardice and coveting.” The author of the poem is argued by scholars but there is a connection between two candidates: John of Gaunt Duke of Aquitaine & Enguerrand VII de Coucy. Enguerrand was married to King Edward III’s daughter Countess Isabella of Bedford & was received the Order of the Garter on their wedding day.

Various stories & legends surround the origin of The Most Noble Order of the Garter. 

The most popular story involves Catherine (Grandison) Montagu The Countess of Salisbury. It is said, that the countess’s garter slipped off from her leg, while she was dancing at a court ball that took place in Calais, France. When the garter slipped from the countess’s leg, courtiers laughed & just watched the scene happen. The King saw what had happen & returned the garter to the Countess exclaiming “Honi soit qui mal y pense!" Which translates in English to “Shame on him who thinks ill of it!” This is saying that is written on the The Most Noble Order of the Garter. 

The earliest written story dates back to the 1460′s. A garter in the mid-14th century, was seen mostly as a item of male attire. Looking back on the story, the garter (that was seen as item of female underclothing), actually has the garter stated as a symbol of a band of knights.

A 2nd story is connected to King Richard I of England. In the 12th century, King Richard was inspired by St. George the Matyr, while he was fighting in the Crusades (A series of religious wars in Western Asia & Europe between the 11th & 17th century). The king tied garters around the legs of his knights, who won the battle. King Edward, recalled the story of King Richard during the 14th century when founding the The Most Noble Order of the Garter. This story is actually recounted in a letter to the Annual Register (A long-established reference work, written and published each year, which records and analyses the year's major events, developments and trends throughout the world) that was written in 1774.

The emblem for The Most Noble Order of the Garter is a garter with a written Middle French Moto that says "Honi soit qui mal y pense” which means “Shame on him who thinks evil of it” & the motto is written in gold lettering. The motto refers to King Edward’s claim to the French throne. The use of the garter with the emblem, derived from straps that are used to fasten armor & was chosen because of the tight-knit “band/bond” of Edward’s knightly cause supporters.

Each member would nominate 9 candidates who have the rank of either Earl or higher (3 members), have the rank of Baron or higher (3 members), & have the rank of Knight or higher (3 members). The Sovereign then personally chooses as many nominees that as necessary to fill any vacant spots in the current Order of the Garter. But with the nominees comes a decision. The Sovereign (He or She), are not obliged to choose the nominees who received the most nomination counts. This practice ended in 1860. Today, before receiving the The Most Noble Order of the Garter, an appointment is made with the Sovereign (A.K.A: The Queen) at sole discretion.

During the 18th century, the Sovereign would choose those to serve on The Most Noble Order of the Garter, by the advice of the current Government. In 1946, membership of the United Kingdom’s highest ranking orders of Chivalry (The Most Illustrious Order of Saint Patrick, The Most Noble Order of the Garter, & Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle) became a personal choice of the Sovereign once again, with the joint agreement of Prime Minister The Right Honorable Clement Attlee 1st Earl of Attlee & The Leader of the Opposition The Right Honorable Sir Winston Churchill.

The person being appointed to the Order is announced on April 23rd which is known as St. George’s Day. When created, it was said that the original status required that each member of the Order already be a knight (now referred to as a Knight Bachelor). The initial members were knighted the year, the order was created.

After The Most Noble Order of the Garter was founded, like men, women were appointed Ladies of the Garter but were not companions. Ladies of the Garter included: Lady Margaret Beaufort (Mother to King Henry VII of England), Her Majesty Queen Alexandra (Wife of His Majesty King Edward VII: She was named Lady of the Garter by her husband), Her Majesty Queen Mary (Wife to His Majesty King George V: She was named Lady of the Garter by her husband), & Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (Wife to His Majesty King George VI: She was named Lady of the Garter by her husband). This practice though, was put to a stop by King Henry VII of England in 1488. Although beginning in the 20th century, women began to be re-associated with the The Most Noble Order of the Garter, but were again not made companions. In 1987, under the statue of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, it became possible to install “Ladies Companion of the Garter.”

1. The Prelate: This position will always belong to The Bishop of Winchester. Currently - Timothy John Dakin (Since 2012).

4. The Garter Principal King of Arms: The Officer has jurisdiction over England, Wales, & Northern Ireland (With exception of Canada). Responds to the Earl Marshal for the running of the College & is the Principal Advisor to the Sovereign of the United Kingdom. This officer announces the New Monarch, after the current monarch has died. Currently - Thomas Woodcock (Since April 2010).

5. The Gentleman/Lady Usher of the Black Rod: Responsible for controlling access to and maintaining order within the House of Lords & its precincts, as well as for ceremonial events within those precincts. The officer is also the Usher & Doorkeeper at Order of the Garter Meetings & the personal attendant of the Sovereign. This officer has many other positions & duties as well. Currently - Sarah Clarke (Since February 13th, 2018)

6. The Secretary: Currently - Patric Laurence Dickinson (Since September 1st, 2010)

Along with the Founder, Ladies Companion of the Garter, & The Original Members of the The Most Noble Order of the Garter, there is another group of members who receive this honor. These members are called Supernumerary Members & they are the members who do not count towards the limit of the 24 Living Family Members/Companions but are in association of the Order. These titles were created by His Majesty King George III of The United Kingdom in 1786 but didn’t create the statute of Supernumerary Members until 1805. He created the title of Supernumerary Members, so that his sons didn’t count toward the 24 companion limit. King George created the statute of members, so that any descendant of His Majesty King George II of Great Britain, could not be installed in The Most Noble Order of the Garter as such a member. 8 years later in 1813, during the reign of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Alexander I of Russia, a membership of being a supernumerary member was extended to foreign monarchs. These members were known as Stranger Knights & Ladies of the Garter. The Statute of Supernumerary Members was put back into play in 1831 & extended to all descendants of His Majesty King George I of Great Britain. In 1954, each installation into The Most Noble Order of the Garter, required an enactment of the statute. The statute authorizes the regular admission of Stranger Knights & Ladies of the Garter without further special enactments.

The Degradation of a Member of the The Most Noble Order of the Garter is a big issue, but can be done by the current Sovereign. This began in the late 15th century.

During the 15th century, The Degradation of a Member of the The Most Noble Order of the Garter was a formal ceremony. The Garter King of Arms is accompanied by the rest of the members at St. George’s Chapel. The Garter of Arms reads aloud the reason for degradation as a member climbs up a ladder to remove the former knights banner, crest, helm, & sword into the choir. The other members then lead the degraded knight down the length of the chapel, out the doors, & into the castle ditch.

During World War 1, a total of 8 knights were degraded from their positions: 2 Royal Knights & 6 Stranger Knights. These knights were rulers, monarchs, or princes of enemy nations in 1915.

♕ 1941-1971: Emperor Hirohito of Japan: Emperor Hirohito was was stripped of his British Honors after Japan entered World War 2 against the United Kingdom. He was stripped of his position in The Most Noble Order of the Garter. In 1971, The Emperor was restored as a knight in The Most Noble Order of the Garter by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. His British Honors include: Honorary General in the British Army, Field Marshal of Regular Army in the British Army, Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, Honorary Knight Grand Cross of The Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Knight of The Most Noble Order of the Garter, & Foreign Member of the Royal Society.

That single sentence is more than enough to give Logan a general understanding of what Matyr could possibly be feeling. While it's different with sisters, he does have a semblance of reference. Honey brows furrow in more concern over it, though, watching how it effects the man in front of him, how it alters him. He doesn't like it for some reason, it makes him find a resolve deep within himself. He listens to all of it, watching the concern on the man's features, marring their quiet confidence.

I should start with the disclaimer that I feel most of my thoughts get disregarded because ppl tend to only like my Bleach thoughts when it has the barest mention of The Ship War, which I’m sick to death of. and if not that, because my main ship is one no one else likes, and due to that I feel the compulsion to even justify why I even like it, which leads to this.

I feel I’ve written a bit about this before but who knows where it’s scattered on my blog, between replies and personal writing and such. anyway, out of universe I know that thinking of arrancar being capable of any kind of affection, especially romantic, is very much a self-indulgent thing on behalf of whomever wants to see so-and-so together. so thinking about it in general has some suspension of belief, because clearly how the characters canonically feel doesn’t matter if we wanna see Grimmjow smooch whomever we choose.

Putting that aside, however, I think it’s a disservice to the characters to just wholly dismiss them as incapable of intricate emotion. The whole myth that they’re just heartless monsters is what perpetuates how they’re treated in the series and why we shouldn’t feel anything when they’re killed to further the story and show off various shikai and bankai due to fan demand (I’ve gone on enough about that, though). I feel once we got to the FKT battles, most had completely forgotten how the origin of Hollows, and how they’re tragic and pitiable, at their core.

granted, some of them do just go out of their way to be Terrible for selfish reasons, whether they’re acting out (Nnoitra, Grimmjow), or just because they can (Aaroniero, Szayel). And some just don’t feel anything at all and have never seen enough to convince them there’s more to whatever (Ulquiorra). I think the selfishness is the keyword here as I think that’s why Kubo labelled them as inherently evil; it’s mentioned in the interview section of Masked, which I don’t feel like pulling up atm, and I’m certain has to do with Japanese societal ideals which I can’t speak on re: the conception and his philosophy on why he calls them as such. but in-universe, we get more than one or two examples of them being capable of growth, and even affection and caring for others.

Nelliel is probably the best example, as she was always presented as noble... mostly. She has an undeniable amount of affection for Ichigo and her fracciónes and a popular (and very good!) idea is that this extends to Harribel and her own after the war. I feel like most forget that Nel’s most “typical arrancar” tendencies came out in her interactions with Nnoitra (I’m not saying she was mean to him; more that they were shitty to each other because that’s how arrancar are), and to a lesser extent how she was towards to Grimmjow and possibly her reasoning for rescuing Harribel. I’m not saying Nel’s actually Bad or anything, just that she’s both not just one-dimensional example of pure and good while also demonstrating that arrancar aren’t Just Evil.

usually it’s the female arrancar I think of first that exhibited these traits showing that they as a whole can be more. I really wish Harribel’s protectiveness towards her fracciónes had been brought up more, as that could have been a justifiable reason why she held back (didn’t want to drown them, for example), and why she finally let loose (when they were defeated, presumably killed). anyway, just saying that “the women are soft and good”can be seen as sexist, but Loly, Menoly and Cirucci defied that trope. and they weren’t the only ones.

Starrk and Lilynette were also ones who considered the company of their fellow arrancar more important than anything else, and while it was for inherently selfish reasons (loneliness and all) and they didn’t actually help everyone to not die, I think anyone could struggle to call them evil. Tesla, also, is another great example of being capable of affection, as his defining trait was his devotion to Nnoitra, despite his treatment. their relationship wasn’t ideal by any means for our standards, but for the types of beings they are, and how they were largely portrayed, Tesla could be seen as kind of a. idk, matyr? in his devotion to Nnoitra. (but you could tell me more about that, haha.) it’s more sad than admirable, but it was poignant.

and to a somewhat lesser extent than the above examples, we have Grimmjow and his fracciónes. themost we see out of Grimmjow is some semblance of sentimentality for how he carried the others with him after they let themselves be eaten, and how he was thinking of them during his fight with Ichigo. but that can be debatable as it can easily just have to do with his own ego and self-image. instead, the pertinent character here, for me, is Shawlong, which I have written about already. I think he’s the only arrancar explicitly stated to have loved something about another arrancar, unless I missed a keyword in Tesla’s data page. this can be seen largely as admiration, and more than likely have to do with the instinct of weaker Hollows to follow the stronger ones, as Cirucci extrapolates at one point. I feel Shawlong’s devotion was just as pertinent as Tesla’s, especially how he’s the one to instill the idea of Grimmjow being a king that Grimmjow himself adopts; I’m pretty sure this is overlooked because Shawlong isn’t hot to most people so he gets disregarded as an important relation to Grimmjow.

I also feel there’s something that could be said about why Zommari calls his resurreccíon’s ability Love, and why he defined it as having to do with control, but I’ll have to come back to that. I don’t have his speech committed to memory and while he obviously wasn’t talking about any kind of affectionate or romantic love, just the fact that he had even an idea of the concept is endlessly fascinating to me. and goes to show that what arrancar could define as affection or love would not be how we, as humans, would see it.

but it doesn’t mean they’re incapable.

This cold day definitely snuck up on him. When the chill of it just sits around you, entirely unmoving, and the fog doesn't even burn off from the tops of the trees, that is the dead giveaway. He's gonna need to be more careful about layering up again, not that he minds. And as much as he likes to think he's good at hiding his shivers, his neck is particularly susceptible to the temperature fluctuations. But it also reminds him of the cold of the station, something his whole body tries to push away by creating warmth, or trying to, at any rate.

So he's surprised when Matyr simply sheds his jacket almost without a second thought, or a word against it clearly, that gets stuck in the blonde's throat. He's lucky he doesn't choke on it when he's trying to make the blush on his cheeks vanish as he smiles and gives a soft thanks, taking the offered jacket and slipping it on. The warmth is immediate, a hum escapes him before he swallows a flurry of butterflies. Even something so simple as this is immensely appreciated.

"You must not run cold then?" He asks, feeling guilty for robbing Matyr of his coat. But then again, nearly all men ran warm so, Logan is the exception.

Logan nods simply at the schedule for coffee, he didn't typically get coffee from shops unless he finds himself in an unfamiliar place. But he does splurge from time to time, too. The other's comment on his flirting draws a blush up the back of his neck and a chuckle. "Hey, can you blame me? I'm a little rusty is all, and you're putting up with it with ease." He's definitely reached that spot where he aught to shut his mouth. Clearing his throat, he looks away briefly with a nervous smile.

The conversation shifts to answers now, and Logan enjoys learning about how people think and how they come to particular decisions. Everything Matyr says is fair and just, very normal, nothing outrageous. As the other moves to lean against the wall, the blonde ponders all he says and allows it to sit, to infuse.

"You have more restraint than I do, very admirable." He muses, hands back in his pockets. "I get that way because of my sisters, mind you. You're right, though. Usually the universe has its own way of dealing punishment should ours fail." But Logan goes quiet, a melancholy feeling hanging over him. "I hope you find some solace in your job then, against what discomforts may be at home at the end of the day. I'm sure that is part of what makes this job rewarding for you."

For some reason, he isn't expecting that question to be reflected onto himself. So he purses his lips and shrugs. "I mean, when you see humanity only at its worst for years on end, it takes away the familiarity of goodness. Makes it feel...inferior. But then I meet people like you, people who watch out for others." He smiles sheepishly at Matyr, certain this is the cheesiest thing he could've said. "Then I'm reminded that...people aren't inherently bad when circumstances are different." To lighten the mood a moment, he smirks. "Seems we bring the philosophers out of each other."

"Depends... how much time I've got, how I'm feeling, what I'm in the mood for." The deity admitted with a slight shrug of his shoulders. Was it sad to admit that he actually enjoyed going to coffee shops and standing in line as he watched them prepare? Or just that strange comfort he found from standing in a queue with mortals as though he could pretend, even just for a moment, that he was one of them?

It was so normal, so seemingly mundane -- - and he loved it.

"Sensitive and mischievous, huh? You sure know how to butter a guy up." Matyr couldn't help but tease with a cheeky glint in his eyes, barely managing to hold back his smile as he looked back over toward his target who seemed to be unloading a number of boxes from the back of his car inside a house.

Then came Logan's question, one that even he'd found himself contemplating on more than one occasion over the years. Maybe one he'd been tempted to overstep a few times himself. "Stubbornness more than anything." He noted lightly at first, turning to look back at Logan properly. "But honestly? It gives me time to gather enough evidence to either get them locked up for a long time or at least get enough on them to offer some safety to their victims. Restraining orders and the like. Those who end up in prison tend to get their just deserts anyway, and those who don't... well, karma usually finds them somewhere down the line." That was less a hope and more of a certainty where he was concerned, he'd make sure they were punished for himself. Not that he could outright admit that.

Resting back against a nearby wall, he brought up a foot to rest against it. "I've seen real evil. Hell, you could say it's a part of my family... most people aren't like that. There's a few rotten apples like this guy, sure, but they're not the majority. Most people are pretty decent when it comes down to it, they just want to live their lives. Those are the ones I look out for, the ones I want to help." He smirked at himself, wondering if it sounded as cliche out loud as it did in his head. "What about you? After the things you've seen, has to have taken a toll on how you see people too, right? Seeing what they're capable of?"

"You prefer home brewed or barista prepared?" Bad small talk, it was something Logan was never good at, not even a little bit. But he's trying, his curiosity knows no bounds. It tells a lot about a person if they make their own drinks or spend the money at a regular shop instead. The little details, insignificant things, are the interesting bits.

But at that question, Logan pauses their walk and looks square at him with a relaxed look on his features, taking him in. "Sensitive, yes." He muses softly. "But also mischievous."

Those two words are more than enough for the veteran to form an opinion on the man they trail at a respective distance. Brows furrow as he glances at the subject in question, looking entirely away from them at this point. "Shit." He murmurs. "How do you not just beat him to a pulp?" He'd come across men like that in the military and Logan had made it known where they stood in the ranks, way back when.

As if fingers snap in front of his face, Matyr's dismissal of the comment in a rather understanding way, something entirely too common for the situation at hand, Logan blinks and nods slowly. A phantom sting on the back of his left hand gains his attention, of which he removes them from his pockets and brings them together, rubbing that spot over and over for whatever comfort it brought. Not much. More haunts than anything, nowadays. He allows himself a gentle smile at the explanation of life as a PI, glamorized surely for the moment. "And here I've been, stationed in Hawaii." Not the farthest from home...but relatable. "So how do you continue? To see the good in people?"

"No better way to start the day than with a good cup of coffee." Matyr could heartily agree, even if caffeine didn't actually affect him in any way. He could still enjoy it and did have something of a habit that had built up over time, more like an idle comfort than any actual need for it. Maybe it seemed ridiculously human, looking forward to that first cup of coffee in the morning, but it was just a small perk of living on terra firma rather than in the literal boils of hell beneath it.

"Why? Don't I look like the sensitive type?" Another tease fell from him as he looked to the man by his side, rather enjoying the back and forth that seemed to come so naturally to them.

"Nasty mix of two of them. Stalker and thief. The kind of guy who ramps up the creepiness level to eleven when he doesn't get his way." There was more than enough reason for Matyr to mess with him, punish him, but as easy as that would be, legally taking him down on top was the icing on top of the cake and would benefit his victims more than simply seeing them squirm was seemingly no reason at all.

Yet as he focused on the guy, it was Logan's notice of a casual comment that hit him, making him realise he'd dropped a little too much information. "Nothing... lucky guess." He was quick to shake it off with a physical shrug of his shoulders, keen to distract him. "Sure can. Not just around here either. I've travelled around the world, pick up a client here, sunbathe there." That was more of an inside joke since one of his uncles was the God of the Sun -- - and one of very few of his family who from above were actually willing to interact with him. "Sometimes you need it. Cases like this are a good example of that. You tend to see the best in people... and the worst."

Logan nodded with shrug of his shoulders. "You aren't wrong. Especially with a good cup of coffee in the morning, always a good way to start the day." Now he's just babbling but he glances over at the other's mention and further snorts softly at the tease, that laugh sounding like music. "That can't be all it takes." He replies with a wink, but then he recalls why they're here and finds his own eyes searching for the man they are at least keeping tabs on. Still where they left him.

The point is valid and Logan acknowledges it silently with a raise of his brows and a nod, not a lot more needed on that point in general, but it gives him a good window. "So, why this guy? Thief, stalker, murderer? Or is that classified?" He'd lowered his voice in the long run, managing something as discreet as this a thing he understood to be careful with.

However, the world temporarily stops at that sentence spoken so easily, so...casually. Honey brows furrow and Logan too stops in his tracks. "What...what do you mean by that?" It's not overly sternly spoken or delivered, just a good way he can learn. Is this a vague statement or something else? He softens, though, learning about the job from a reliable source. He nods and tries to shake off the slight tension sitting between his shoulder blades. "I bet that is nice. Vacationing anywhere you want, whenever you want. Sometimes maybe even while you work, I bet a job like this can take you places."

"Sure is. Got to let your hair down every once in a while though." As if he was really one to talk. Though he did enjoy playing a human all the way, sitting in a bar or restaurant and just throwing back a few beers and maybe eating something from the latter. He knew his father would hate it, how mundane it was, how human, but for Matyr, it was what made him like it even more.

It was definitely preferable to spending all of his spare time in the Underworld.

"Upgraded from complete stranger to good company, huh? I'm honoured." Matyr mused with a laugh to himself, nudging the man back with his shoulder. "Stop, you're going to make me blush." He couldn't help but add in jest, just about managing to keep his cool as he kept a close eye on his target.

"Don't really think about it, if I'm honest. Not unless I've got eyes on someone." He supposed that stemmed from what he was, not having to worry as much about surprises that could easily take him down. Though he did have to be careful, it would be rather difficult to explain being attacked and not having a single bruise or even a flicker of pain. Or worse, being shot and having no wound to show for it.

"Not surprised after everything you went through... anything's better than that." The comment came out without him even thinking, his mind casually moving on to Logan's query. "Didn't exactly fit in with the family business. Didn't really fit into the family, period. So... here I am. I find people pretty fascinating, what better way than getting to rifle through their business all day?" He was only half joking, he really did find humanity interesting, he cared about them a lot, even if he wasn't that bothered about actually getting into everyone's personal business for the fun of it. "That, and I get to choose my own vacation days."
