Nat watched the boys trying to pick up Thors hammer and of course everyone failed. It was quite amusing as they all tried their luck and then she’s the only one left. She refused at first but everyone was so curious, that she gave in and halfheartedly pulled at the hammer. To everyones surprise she ended up picking it up.

"Do I smell breakfast or is that the house burning down?"
(x)
“If you have to ask, we should probably go ahead and evacuate.”
Tony smirked under his lashes, giving the eggs in the pan a flip with somewhat of a smile. if these were gonna be his last days in the tower, he might as well try to make good with team.
“You’d think that after all I’ve built, an omelette would be easy peasy. I’d suggest taking a walk down the block and getting a damn bagel.”

Natasha had just finished up a few rounds with their newest team. After everything that happened with Ultron, Stark was trying to work on his own image, Barton was back home with his family, Thor went off who knows where to do his thing, and Banner... Whatever. She shook her head after dealing with Wanda, Vision, and Rhodey through some drills Steve wanted them to run for “team practice”. It was ridiculous in her eyes. But he was the one ‘in charge’.
But she stopped her walking when she saw something out of the ordinary. A hulking blond that was not Steve Rogers. “Thor?” She asked, tilting her head as she walked away from the compound. “You’re back?”

“I could need some help over here.” Said Nat quite calmly over the comms to the rest of the team, even if she was practically surrounded by Hydra agents. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem for her, but it’s like the love to say: one’s down, two more take their place.

Natasha listened to Steve as he spoke to Loki, the redhead keeping her arms crossed as she stood behind the blond with an arched eyebrow. She personally didn’t see why they bloodied him up, he wasn’t an avenger. He didn’t need to do anything to help them. The fact he wasn’t causing trouble or instigating things like that was enough help to them. But when she heard she was partnering up with him, oh this was bad. Why did he put her with Loki?
Green eyes looked to the blue of the captain and she shifted her expression minutely to show her dissatisfaction with the new assignment. “Seems like something you should be working on too,” She pointed out. “After all... you did kill eighty people in two days. And I hate the idea of being a baby sitter. So show them you can do this quickly.”
She turned on her heels and left, walking past the other avengers and heading off to the command room where they would get their intel. She needed some sort of game plan to deal with Loki. How the hell was she supposed to deal with him?

Ignore just one teeny little robot uprising, and you get arrested and punched in the face.
Loki scowls as he dabs at his bloody nose with a handkerchief, kicking at Thor under the table. “That was for getting blood all over my favorite shirt.” Then comes the lecturing and the yelling. Sputtering when he’d asked why he should help when they did it to themselves.
“Bloody hell, what do I need to do to get you off my back and get me my nice peaceful life back?!” Loki glares at the Avengers, who look among each other.
“You help train the new recruits,” Steve replies. “You and Natasha will help with training, and you go on a few missions with us. To help with your image. We’ll be able to save a lot more people with your skills.”
Loki rolls his eyes and looks to Natasha. “Still trying to wipe out the red from your ledger, are you?” He smiles a bit. “Well, at least they didn’t put me with someone I dislike.”

Send me 🚪 and I’ll generate a number for my muse to show up on your muse’s doorstep. || 20: about to faint from exhaustion || @chyornaya-vdova
Bruce more stumbled into the door than knocking on it. Leaning heavily against the door frame, he knew he risked falling forward if the door opened, but he just didn’t have the energy to move.
After the last battle, Hulk had decided to ditch the team by running off. He wasn’t sure for how long the green behemoth had hold the reins, but judging by his current level of exhaustion, it was a matter of days and not just hours.
There was a sound, the door was opening and he forced himself to raise his head a bit. “Na..tasha…” he slurred and tried to smile, but doing so felt like an impossible task.
“Bruce...” Seeing him here was the last thing she ever expected, even if he’s one of the few people she’s told about her safehouse. But still, after he left with the quinjet she thought he’s not coming back anymore. And especially not to her, since she’s been the one who forced him to turn.
He’s supposed to hate her. Or maybe he’s just too exhausted to be angry right now. He looked like he’s been ‘angry’ for days. Without another word, she opened the door further, allowing him in.

“Hey, big guy.” Nat called out to Hulk, but made sure her voice sounded softer than usual. Despite the protest of everyone, she decided to try this again. Maybe she was lucky the last time, but she made Bruce come back after a code green. And maybe she could do it again.

It was just another day at the office for the team. They took down another Hydra base to look for Loki’s scepter, but it wasn’t there of course. Their code green -aka Hulk- helped out and at least now he knew his team. Or let’s say it’s slowly getting better.
Making him turn back was as difficult as ever and once she mission’s done Tony always tried to calm down the big guy. But of course he wouldn’t listen to him and it’s always funny to see him fail.
Nat was watching when Thor tried to calm him, but he just ended up making him more angry with his way...

You have 3 new messages:
“Nat? Nat M’really sorry… I… I back. M’back. Didn’ mean to leave the way I did. I-I didn’ wanna go. I didn’ even know I had been gone for so l-long…” The man on the phone hiccuped and whined before the message ended with him coughing.
“Ow….” The voice whined, his voice a little harsh. “I don’ wanna fight anymore. I’m sorry. I’m sorry I’m dumb and s-stupid… I-I gots ta stay calm o-or else… or else m’gonna be trapped in my head…. o-oh shi-” The message ended as his phone fell to the ground.
“M’sorry… y-you… you deserve better. Shouldn’ve called… don’ know why m’still callin. I’m dumb…. P-please don’t hate me…”
To say that Nat was beyond confused when she listened to the messages was still underrated. After all the tries to find him -and eventually giving up- he comes back out of nowhere and leaves a message on her voicemail?
And he sounded very drunk. That’s new. The messages were just half an hour old, so she called the number, wondering if he’d even answer.

He groaned as he slowly woke up, realizing what had just happened. Of course..he was used to the feeling but that didn't make him feel any better either. "What happened? Natasha?"
“You had a code green.” Of course she knew that he knew it. But maybe she shouldn’t mention that he was shot, considering that the big guy did a great job at healing him. “Remember what happened?”

Natasha was practically kicked out of the new Avengers compound by Steve because he thought she’s ‘not focused’ and ‘needed a little break’. Of course she knew reason why she’s slightly less focused than normal, but she didn’t feel like needing a break. But after hours of arguing with Steve, she eventually gave up and decided to pay Clint and his family a visit.
She took one of the smaller Quinjets to get to his farm, of course being as stealthy as ever on her way there. She was still in Avengers/agent mode, which was hard to turn off and was far from relaxed when she arrived and went the rest of the way to the house.

Steve was mid drift when he heard Natasha’s voice and felt warmth next to him. He rolled onto his back and gazed towards her.
“Kinda yeah. Everything okay?” There must have been something going on for Natasha to just climb into bed with him. Unless it was okay nowadays for men and women to share a bed before committing to anything.
“Fine.” She lied and snuggled up to him without another word. Since Wanda was messing with her head the old nightmares returned and since Steve was the only one in the new Avengers facility she was really close to, she just decided to sneak into his room and into his bed. It was also kinda weird without the other boys, but hey they all had their problems.

Hulk Protect
@boldlyshamelessfun
It’s been another boring day at the office. Which meant taking out another Hydra base to look for Loki’s scepter. And something told her that they won’t find it here either. They took out many bases by now and it let them all wonder how many damn bases Hydra had.
The plan worked just as planned and they didn’t even need a code green. Nat had the most asses to kick. Not that she minded, but they were really stupid enough to think that she was the weakest just because she was a woman. “Need help, Nat?” Asked Clint through the comms.
“Nope. I’m perfectly fine over here.” She answered, before knocking another one out. Then the ran to the next Hydra group and one of them got a lucky hit on her side, but he wasn’t conscious enough to be happy about it. Nat hissed at the little wound, but told the other -who were asking if she’s okay- that she’s fine and can keep fighting.

The team was currently on a mission to take out another Hydra base. It was as easy as always, but sadly they still couldn’t find Loki’s scepter. Tony and Steve were already inside, while she and Clint took care of the agents outside. They didn’t even need a code green, so that Bruce could stay in the Quinjet and wait for them.
But then things went wrong for her, when someone sprayed something into her eyes. “Shit!” She yelled and rubbed her burning eyes. With her free hand she shot the guy who did this. “Shit shit shit!” The worst thing was that she was surrounded but with that stuff still in her eyes she couldn’t see anything. “Guys I could need some help here.” Nat told the team over the comms.

Natasha’s was on her way to the training hall like always. After everything that happened with Ultron and Sokovia, she’s been training more and slept and ate less. On her way there she met Steve. “Hey, wanna spar with me?” Kicking and punshing the punching bags was really boring, she needed a real opponent.

The pencil went still as Steve looked up, caught. He held his breath for a moment before releasing it on the edge of a quiet laugh. There was a shrug as he reluctantly placed the pencil down at the bottom of the notepad and pushed it across the table for the woman to see. What she would see, of course, was her own face, the brush of her hair curling in over her shoulder. Though the bright flare of red was missing, he’d caught the look in her eyes – and he didn’t know how she’d feel about that. He knew that he liked it though, liked that he was able to see it; he thought he did, anyway. “I started without meaning to,” he admitted. “It needed to be finished.”
Natasha stared at the drawing for a few seconds. He was really talented and it was amazing how detailed he’s drawn her. It almost looked like a photograph, only better. “It looks great.” She eventually complimented. “Are you drawing all of your teammates or just me?”
