"What are you talking about?" She probably sounded more defensive than she intended. "Please tell me you are talking about Vivianne. Or Meade, at least"

Madison didn't know how to feel anymore. It all happened so fast and she didn't really get the chance to process her emotions. Not that she had a history of doing that well. Emotions. She wasn't even sure that she wanted that kid until she learned that it was gone. And that made her sad somehow. The empty kind of sad she felt when she came back the first time. "That's what the doctor said." She tried to hide the disappointment.

"What's there to be sorry about" she shrugged. "I mean Constance called it. I'm too skinny to be a mother."

Michael had already tears in his eyes as she said the words. He took a deep breath. Of course it was too good to be true. Of course. "So he...our baby... he's gone?" He asked her, trying to keep his voice from shaking. Of course it was his fault. His genes. Whatever was in him. This was just the confirmation that he wasn't...just...human.

Madison had to tell someone the news. She was going crazy and other people, namely behold, had started noticing. And Zoe seemed as good an option as any to vent about it. "I don't know. I will have to tell him eventually. Before he notices" She puffed. "This is not what I imagined. This was not part of the plan."

Zoe gasped at the news. It was...terrible, terrible news. But how could she tell Madison? "Oh my God...." she just stuttered "Madison I.... shit... what are you gonna do?" She finally asked. She couldn't start thinking of ways of getting rid of the baby if she didn't want to... but the son of the Antichrist... it was a potential disaster.
