@loqis . x
“My ideas are the best ideas,” she replied back, bumping his shoulder with hers when he brought her close with a hand around her waist. They were still mostly in beachwear, and they should probably look for the nice and luxurious bathroom that certainly was part of the suite somewhere upstairs for a shower, but the view of the clean ocean and the fishes was too entrancing for now.
“You never had any sort of vacations before?” she found herself asking once she rested her head on his shoulder, uncaring for the sticky mess created by the sunscreen they had both applied before, “The proud and glorious house Tummelt of Niflheim... I always assumed rich people had several houses at nice spots for a retreat. No beach resort in the family? Perhaps a spa in Tenebrae?” she inquired with a teasing tone.

~* I’m not dead I swear ! *~
Tumblr media
I was just unable to lead the project properly this past month and a half, mostly due to health reasons. Wait, I planned to make an update next month, but why not doing it now since I can sit on my computer without suffering (too much) anymore x) So... Basically, I was in a really bad shape and health for several months but since I have a habit of not listening very well to my body I neglected it. I decided to do blood tests and other medical exams because it was starting to be really painful and inconvenient for work and my everyday life. At first the doctors didn’t find anything, but my state continued to get worse so yup. More blood tests, something finally came up and they thought it might have been life threatening. Fortunately it was not, after more exams we found out it was “only” a rather big calculus in my gall bladder. Said gall bladder which was out of service for years without me knowing about it, so we decided to completely remove it. Yes, I have a hole inside my belly now (° v °) The surgery happened on March 26, and I’m only slowly starting to suffer less from it now. Also ! I have to rest and avoid any stressful or tiresome activities for a whole month, so... please bear with me and the slow progress on Colors of Fate until May for more updates (T ^ T)/ ★ Buuuuut I hope you’ll forgive me with those two new profiles ! Which one would you like to have sexy times with as a loyal companion through your Princess or Maid journey ? A flirty and friendly herbalist who also practices a bit of alchemy ? Or maybe a grumpy, but in fact sweet and shy prince who likes necromancy ? Can I take both home, please ? ✿
Tumblr media
✿ -----------

Events part of @the-faceless-ffxiv and @rukaelf‘s Numeria
The obelisk in Garlemald had been cordoned off when they were first found, the enterprising Gabinius making an effective decision.
Luke recalled the response as Numeria had inadvertently broadcast the attempt of her loyal forces to attack it, the kir having winced as he knew what would happen before Numeria's first magitek-fueled attack had landed.
It had fallen out of his memory long long ago, but not Theirs - and there was something poetically just in sending one Garlean to undo the work of another.
The first time the Avatar had struck at the isolation zone he had almost scouted it - the attacks had been nothing as he went to the jut of Singing Stone itself.
The second time he returned had been brutal, communications shut down with the effectiveness that only someone who knew them could do.  Their efforts ot call for aid, to signal that they were under attack had been set up to fail from the start because what the kir knew of them had fed Them and Their handling of the matter.
The imprisoned Marked were freed with the right codes fed in to the system, the engineer's hand tossed aside when that was no longer needed.  And as they flooded their former captors the Avatar himself had brought gleeful, merciless slaughter to every soul who had not bowed to Them or called and cried for Their protection from his attacks.
The Avatar left Numeria an artful presentation, every dead body dragged out and arranged, a flowering rose of uniformed soldiers, loyal loyal soldiers who had wanted to obey not just their Decurio but who had resisted Them for so long.  When their corpses wouldn't fit the presentation he wanted to leave as his gift for Numeria they had been ripped and torn apart until they were perfectly shaped.
The rose bloomed in the center of the destruction, and the remained of the encampment had been razed and left a smoldering ruin, etching two v-like armed on either side of the 'bloomed' rose.
The black scorches framed the rose as if it were the center of the emblem of the Garlean Empire, a fire still burning and fueled after he left by exposed tanks of ceruleum that ensured that no matter when Numeria finally came she'd find ash and smoke and smoldering ruins and the ever-present, un-touched, eternal Singing Stone rising like a mocking jab to the sky.
The dead Marked were gone, even the ones who died during the onslaught, and the once-imprisoned Marked were free to once more do Their work.
And there was so much of it to do, still...

anonymous asked:
Eleanor of Austria or Mary of Hungary?
In the Netherlands, in 1531, Margaret of Austria was succeeded by another female regent: her twenty-five-year-old widowed niece Mary of Hungary. After successfully holding Hungary for her brother Ferdinand, King of Hungary, Mary had refused his offer of a second regency in 1528. Such affairs needed ‘a person older and wiser’, Mary said. Her reluctance was understandable: it was the turbulence in Hungary that encouraged the Ottoman Empire to launch the campaign that culminated, just weeks after the Ladies’ Peace, in the Siege of Vienna. That campaign almost cost Ferdinand all he had won and struck a terrifying blow deep into Habsburg heartland.
But Mary was undoubtedly able. A Hungarian correspondent had written to Erasmus: ‘I wish that . . . the queen would become the king: the fate of the homeland would then be better.’ And the Habsburg Empire was ever greedy for loyal lieutenants. ‘I am only one and I can’t be everywhere’, Charles V would later complain to Mary. As Ferdinand said, telling Mary of their aunt Margaret’s death in December 1530, her life might now ‘take a different course’. The next month, Charles did indeed ask Mary to assume the regency of the Netherlands.
Family duty impelled agreement. Mary was now ‘Mary, by the Grace of God, Queen of Hungary, of Bohemia, etc., governor of the Netherlands for His Imperial and Catholic Majesty, and his lieutenant’. Like Margaret of Austria before her, she was determined not to allow her family to marry her off again. But neither did she wish to remain as a queen without kingdom, income, role or offspring. Margaret of Austria herself had once, before she found her role as regent, lamented that she might ‘be left to wander about the world like a person lost and forgotten’, or so her father recalled.
Mary of Hungary continued, however, to display a more ambivalent attitude towards responsibility than her aunt Margaret, complaining a few months into the Netherlands job that it felt like having a rope around her neck. She did not, she said, perhaps pointedly, wish to act ‘like those women who interfere in many things which are not demanded of them’. Conversely, it was said of her that she ruled by rigour whereas Margaret had done it by charm.
The Venetian ambassador to the Hungarian court had written that ‘by reason of her natural volatility and from too much exercise’ – Mary was notoriously obsessed with hunting and falconry – it was generlly assumed she would never have children. He added a description; that she was ‘of diminutive stature, long and narrow face, rather comely, very spare . . . lively, never quiet either at home or abroad’. The late sixteenth-century writer Brantôme described her as ‘un peu homasse’ (a little mannish), adding that ‘she made war well, sometimes through her lieutenants, sometimes in person, always on horseback, like an Amazon’. Her brother Charles V told her on another occasion that she did ‘not react in such a feminine manner as others of your sex, who are of a more delicate disposition’. Later, in 1537, when the French were attacking the Netherlands, she appeared in a black leather jerkin, fitted with eyelets that would hold a cuirass, swearing she would show François I ‘to what purpose God can give a woman strength’.
In the Netherlands, Mary of Hungary, likewise in her earlier years accused of too much sympathy with Protestants, was rumoured to be a ‘bonne luteriene’ (good Lutheran). She greatly admired the humanism of Erasmus, who wrote admiringly of her, and had also spent formative years in the Germanic circles where Luther’s teachings were most in currency. When she became Queen of Hungary she aroused controversy by appointing the Lutheran Conrad Cordatus as her preacher; he then launched an attack on the papacy in front of the whole court. In 1526 Luther had dedicated four psalms to Mary, having heard that she was, as he wrote, ‘inclined towards the Gospel’, despite anything the ‘godless bishops’ of Hungary could do to dissuade her. Her brother Ferdinand wrote to reprimand her but Mary wrote back that she couldn’t control what Luther had to say, without, however, dissociating herself from the connection.
When the question of the Netherlands regency first arose, Mary had been anxious – for all her loudly professed aversion to the post – to reassure her other brother Charles V that she still held firmly to the family faith and would prove it by dismissing any possible Lutherans in her train. Charles, for his part, warned that he would send even his closest relative – parent, child, or sibling – to the stake rather than condone heresy. But perhaps in the end their attitude was not so dissimilar. For Charles, certainly, this was less a matter of conscience than of civic order. ‘By turning away from the Catholic faith, people will at the same time turn away from loyalty and obedience to their ruler,’ he said.
Once in place in the Netherlands, Mary of Hungary proved a reasonably successful governor, making her court a centre of luxury and culture and eventually building a wonderful Renaissance palace at Binche as her home. Just as Mary and her sisters had themselves been raised by Margaret of Austria, so Mary continued the work, looking after those of her nieces who were already in Margaret’s care. In 1533, when Christina of Denmark was, at the age of eleven, married to the Duke of Milan, her uncle Charles agreed she should immediately assume her wifely duties. But Mary, like Margaret before her, first protested and then stalled: ‘you may endanger her life, should she become pregnant before she is altogether a woman’, Mary wrote. She begged her brother to forgive her for speaking out, but ‘my conscience and the love I bear the child compel me’. Forced to send Christina to Milan immediately after her twelfth birthday, Mary fell ill and asked to resign her post.
Like other women in power, she found that stress took a physical toll, and the times remained taxing. In 1534, religion was once again the problem. In the neighbouring German duchy of Westphalia, Anabaptists seized the town hall of Münster and declared the new Jerusalem, founded on common ownership and the equality of man. When they called on the faithful to join them, many in the Netherlands heeded the call and set out up the Rhine.
Besieged by its expelled bishop, Münster fell only in June 1535, so it was against this background, and heightened Franco-Imperial tension, that Charles V finally agreed to something for which his sister Eleanor, Queen of France, had long been pleading: that, after many years apart, she and her sister Mary of Hungary might meet.
In the summer of 1535 the two sisters met, at Cambrai, where Margaret of Austria and Louise of Savoy had faced each other just six years before. But this time Charles had decreed that no politics were to be discussed and though Eleanor came with a great retinue, at least some of whom surely hoped for diplomatic discussion, Mary unyieldingly followed her brother’s script. A sign of the changing times, perhaps? Or of very different personalities? Certainly no great results were achieved by this meeting at Cambrai.

different collective identity conceptions (mostly v background reasoning for the part of Zombie Savage AU I’m currently writing)
Rook Kast considers Maul Mandalorian. He took on the identity (well, he challenged Viszla for the title of Mand’Alor and to her that’s essentially the same thing) and he’s a cultural fit, so. It’s an assimilative identity, and it has to be: Rook’s view of Mandalore is one of conquest, not chiefly to rule over people but to draw them into the army. (A view diametrically opposed by Satine, who views all that fighting as un-Mandalorian and whose Mandalore is a nation-state and not an empire, the path to joining being legal, i.e. acquiring Mandalorian citizenship, and, though that’s mostly unofficial, also abiding by her values or else you’ll get kicked out. Bo-Katan possibly also accepts that you can become Mandalorian, but she has way stricter admission criteria than Rook and isn’t convinced by Maul.)
Savage considers Maul a nightbrother. It’s a caste, an identity you can’t join or escape: you are born a nightbrother to a Witch and an unwilling father, you live a nightbrother, and you die a nightbrother. (It’s an identity that structures someone’s whole life and prescribes a lot of behaviors, especially regarding subservience and sacrifice. Savage isn’t on Dathomir anymore though, and so he’ll keep the culture he cares about and try not to notice the ways in which he slowly heals of the harmful parts. It doesn’t matter anyway: whatever he does, he’ll always be a nightbrother.)
Maul considers himself neither Mandalorian nor nightbrother. He is Sith, and biologically he is a zabrak, and he is himself. He doesn’t really do group identities (which is what Sidious wanted: Maul considering himself a singular, isolated weapon) and he feels no draw towards someone just because they share a category with him.
Or he does, but indirectly: he appreciates the people he connects with way more than he wants to admit, and in those connections he benefits from the identities he doesn’t claim and the fact that both Rook and Savage are very community-oriented. Maul proved his strength when he beat Viszla but it’ll take him a while to figure out why Rook is still totally loyal to him when he is grieving and weak. (He is Mandalorian, so he is one of her people. Her people will never be left behind.) Savage stubbornly stuck close for a long time before Maul figured out how to relate to someone else, because whatever Maul does he will always be Savage’s brother. It also comes with a presumption of good faith (Brothers love each other, Savage believes. Brothers will never choose to hurt each other.) that’ll come in handy, what with the zombie stuff that freaks out everyone but Savage. Once he knows it wasn’t Talzin but just Maul’s helpless attempt to keep his family, anyway.

When the Jews took over Russia with Communism, they killed the entire Gentile ruling and upper classes, and replaced them with a Jewish ruling elite which was part of a larger Jewish order.
“Rosenthal also talks about a Jewish invisible government which also controls the USSR, and how the UN is “nothing but a trap door to the Red World’s immense concentration camp.” He says this invisible power is responsible for the wars and revolutions of the last 200 years.” — Harold Wallace Rosenthal, age 29, personal assistant to New York Senator Jacob Javits 1976 interview with Walter White Jr., editor, Conservative monthly, Western Front.
When the Soviet Jewion fell apart due to the long -term effects of the Second World War and the people openly rebelling in the streets, the Jewish elites in Russia simply put up new window dressing and did a game of musical chairs, in order to stop a full rebellion that would topple them. The new post-Soviet government was just as openly full of Jews as was the former one. It is the same ruling class.
This brings us to Vladimir Putin who was a Lieutenant Colonel in the KGB before the fall of the Soviet Union. He was then brought into the New Government. This is revealing the facts on the KGB, like the NKVD and Cheka before it. It is created, staffed, and run by Jews, as it is the important arm of the Jewish ruling classes’ control:
http://heretical.com/miscellx/bolshies.html
According to a report in The Canadian Jewish News of 13 November 1964, the present Soviet boss Leonid Brezhnev is married to a Jewess and his children are brought up as Jews. There are a number of prominent Jews in the Soviet government, including Dimitri Dymshits in charge of industry, Lev Shapiro regional secretary of Birobidjan, and Yuri Andropov in charge of the secret police, the KGB. In fact, every secret police chief in Soviet history has been a Jew, from the first, Uritsky, the murderous Beria… A Jew is also in charge of the Soviet economy – Leonid Kantorovich.
Keep this in mind when you realize that Putin within 16 years, rose to Lieutenant Colonel of the KGB, proceeded to be high -ranking in a Jewish owned and staffed government, and is now the front man for the ruling kosher cabal:
Putin admitted to growing up in the same apartment with a bunch of Jews. When speaking before a Jewish audience, Putin revealed that his own father was an “avid Talmudic scholar.”
“Mr. Putin said he was familiar with both the menorah and the Chanukah holiday, because as a child his family shared their communal apartment with a Jewish family. “
Source: Chabad.org – Jewish News – Chanukah Journal Nov 26, 1999 http://www.chabad.org/news/article_cdo/aid/1119/jewish/Chanukah-Journal.htm
Putin: “I will do everything for the Jews!” Posted October 18, 2012. “Putin will save us” says Jew Kapner! By “us,” he means Jews.
“RUSSIA’S PM TO JEWISH DELEGATION: I WAS FIRST TO RESTORE JEWISH PROPERTY!
MOSCOW — In an extraordinary 40 minute meeting with Russian Jewish leaders yesterday (November 25), Russian Prime Minister Vladimir V. Putin promised to assist the Jewish community in combating anti-Semitism, building schools and reclaiming former synagogue buildings for Jewish communities.”
“Rabbi Berel Lazar, chief Lubavitch emissary to the region, who was recently elected as the head rabbi by delegates to the newly formed Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, accompanied Federation officials Lev Leviev, Michael Gluz and Mark Grubarg to present the prime minister with a silver Menorah. Rabbi Lazar described the Menorah as a symbol of religious freedom. Speaking about the miracle of Chanukah, the rabbi and his colleagues described the resurgence of Jewish life in Russia since the fall of communism as a modern miracle.”
Jew-lover Putin admits growing up in the same apartment with a bunch of Jews. While talking to a Jewish audience, Putin reveals that his own father was an avid Talmudic scholar…“Mr. Putin said he was familiar with both the menorah and the Chanukah holiday, because as a child his family shared their communal apartment with a Jewish family.” Putin’s father’s real name was Epstein, his mother’s Shalomova.
http://henrymakow.com/putin-is-nwo-pawn.html
Tumblr media
Tamara: “The photo at bottom left shows Opposition to Putin saying Putin is 100% a Jew (his mother is a Jew and his father is a Jew). In Russia, many Jewish people hide their Jewish origin or they do not know or do not want to know. Putin is a person who hides his Jewish origin but uses it in the corruption nets. Historians tried to find his ancestors but failed. Common Russians think that Putin is an ethnic Russian. If they understood that Putin is a Jew, they would not vote for him. The picture bottom right shows Putin’s resemblance to a Jew from Tsarist era.”
“In Russia, the eternal question is: “Who Lives Well in Russia?” At different times, they were different people, but now everyone knows that life is only good for the super-rich oligarchs, mostly Jews.”
Putin pledges to make Russia comfortable for the enemy Jew. Perhaps that will shed light on why he treats nationalists and proud Russian patriots like Jews treat animals.
“Focusing on the Federation, Mr. Putin described its founding as a positive development to bring diverse groups within the Jewish community together to work toward common goals. He expressed his hope that the new Federation would help foster a climate of communal strength that will make Russia a country where Jews will live comfortably.”
The following was written by a Christian Russian Nationalist, but it provides a clear understanding of what is really happening in the Jewish owned and controlled current Russia:
“Their goal is to create in place of Russia and Russian civilization a new supranational pseudo- empire within the framework of the New World Order, under the guidance of a Jewish elite.”
Russians in Russia: The State within the State April 24, 2012 —
Igor Artemov, Translated by Roman Frolov
No one in the Russian National political movement —or just anyone for whom his Russian identity is not simply a matter of fact but a defining aspect of his life, beliefs, and actions—should harbor any illusions regarding the corrupt, grotesquely hypocritical, bureaucratic and police-state nature of the modern state authority and ideology existing in the Russian Federation. All this is true and doubtlessly affects our lives. And yet the single most important thing to understand is that this system is explicitly and purposefully anti-Russian.
Although we cannot exclude that Putin and his close circle dream about their ‘empire’, there won’t be any place in their ‘empire’ for the Russian spirit and Russian ideology, just as there was no place for Russianness in the late Soviet Union. Remember that the process of destroying the Russian nation and Russian worldview, unprecedented in its scale and consequences, was launched precisely in the Soviet Union and the current authorities of Russian Federation carry on this process more or less consistently. The Russian culture and the Church were being destroyed in the USSR. Internationalism and inter-racial marriages were promoted. The USSR has done everything possible to make people to identify themselves not as Russians, Tartars, or Tuvans but as Soviet people. All the facts show that it is the USSR and not the old Russia that serves as a role model for the current Russian authorities. They are building a post-Soviet state and not in any way a Russian national state. I consider this statement essential because of the conclusions and actions that follow from it directly.
If the Russian Federation was just a red-tape bureaucratic or corrupt state, then these defects of the political system could be fought against and to a certain extent eliminated simply by dealing with the mistakes. Yet the problem is that both corruption and despotism in our country are consciously enforced from the very top of state power. Long ago I realized that the situation in our country does not result from the stupidity, greed or incompetence of the ruling circles. Only an idiot would have trouble understanding that it is better for the country to have its own competitive manufacturing instead of exporting raw materials or to have honest officials instead of bribe- takers. The Russian authorities understand this too. And yet they do everything the other way around, strengthening and hardening from above all the vices of the state system. “Why?” you ask me. Well, because they have aims that are very different from those they publicly declare on television and through the mass media.
Their goal is to create in place of Russia and Russian civilization a new supranational pseudo- empire within the framework of the New World Order. Under the guidance of a Jewish elite, the Russian majority will be gradually replaced by Asian migrants. Of course, they cannot acknowledge this openly as it will cause mass protests and they will be quickly swept away. So for the people’s consumption they have an official ideology of building a society of prosperity, social justice and interethnic peace. Yet they cannot hide the truth, especially from those who have access to objective information. As a result, the silence of the ruling circles is bought by enormous material benefits on one hand, and by intimidation on the other. In this light, it is easy to understand the murders of generals Lebed and Rokhlin, ophthalmologist Fyodorov, Governor Evdokimov and many others who had ascended to the political Olympus in Russia but had not become completely loyal to those forces that control and deliberately destroy our country as the heart of Russian civilization. I think that the mysterious death of General Shebarshin, the last chief of the KGB, is in the same line of political murders.
The main supports for the Russian authorities in this enterprise are the security agencies. Their purpose is to suppress any popular protest and discontent by unlawful use of force — simply because it is impossible to do it by lawful methods. It is not a coincidence that today the members of the security agencies and not regular officials or manufacturers who get the most of benefits and opportunities. Not long ago I had a conversation with an old acquaintance of mine who sells real estate on the Black sea coast and in the Caucasus Mineralnye Vody region [translator’s note: popular resorts]. He claimed that 80%.
of the expensive property [$500,000 and up] in these areas is purchased today not by state officials or businessmen but by highly-placed officials of the Federal Security Service [FSS], Interior Ministry, Public Prosecutor Office, and other similar agencies from various regions of the country [sometimes such purchases are made using front persons]. In this way these ‘people’s servants’ prepare for their retirement. Needless to say, such property acquisitions are far beyond the means of an honest official, even considering their large salaries.
Thus a conspiracy of silence emerges. Every member of this criminal system knows that he can keep his power and unlawfully acquired riches only if he remains silent and does everything his masters order him to do. If he doesn’t, however, and takes the liberty of excessive high-handedness or independency, he will face huge problems.
I would like to describe two examples from my personal experience, which clearly show that highly stationed Russian officials have a perfect understanding of what is going on in our country and of the direction it is leading into. In the beginning of the last decade when I was a Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Vladimir Oblast I had a conversation with one of the representatives of the President in that region. The conversation has stuck in my memory. There was high turnover at this position and I would like to avoid naming this person. The official sympathetically inquired about the Russian national movement and our ideology, and he demonstrated impressive knowledge of Bolshevism, Freemasonry and pretty good personal erudition. He told me that he reads our newspapers [the Internet was not as widespread then as it is now], and that some of his relatives voted for me in the elections to the Russian Parliament. I even felt some sympathy toward him because of his education and culture. In the end he talked about himself. He said that he understands the rightness of our cause albeit there were not only Russians among his ancestors. He told me that in Soviet times he and other members of the Communist Party were shown special movies on the danger of world Zionism and Freemasonry, and he mentioned some facts which I was not aware of. At some point, I even thought that he could provide a tacit support to our cause.
Yet it ended differently. My confidant finished our conversation with a parable. Let’s say, he told me, a gang of robbers attacks a woman and wants to rape her. She has a choice, to resist, get seriously beaten and injured and be raped anyway, or “to relax and try to get some pleasure”…. So this is what is being done with our country. We can’t fight against the whole world. So let’s relax and try to benefit from this situation as much as possible. I remember being quite shocked, both at his level of awareness and his conclusions.
As a second example, in 2003 I was one of the originators of the internal investigation of the Police Department of Vladimir Oblast by a special commission from Moscow. The commission was headed by an elderly Lieutenant-General Golubev, if I remember correctly. He expressed his wish to meet me personally. It was a long conversation. I told him all I knew about incidents of bribery, racketeering etc. He listened carefully and took notes. At the end, we had turned to the Russian question again. Looking away, he asked me: “If things in Russia continue in the future as they are today, for how much longer will the Russian people survive?” I answered that I look forward to positive changes and aspire for the establishment of Russian national rule, but if the regime perseveres, the Russians as a nation will likely hold on for thirty or forty years more, and after that all sorts of irreversible changes are possible. “I also think so” — he replied.
We had parted amiably. A couple of weeks later I received a letter signed by this same General, in which he thanked me for my assistance and informed me that, based on my information, around fifteen police officers were subjected to disciplinary action, but not a single ‘brave’ officer was punished seriously, though they deserved it. The commission had returned to Moscow and things in Vladimir resumed their ‘natural’ course. I guess that our General retired soon after these events.
Make no mistake: both of the high state officials described here represent the best part of the establishment. They at least say that they are not against us. Others, however, are much, much worse: they are stupid, avaricious and cynical. Yet even these two wouldn’t openly side with us. They would stand aside and wait for something. This is why the Russian movement today should avoid internal dissent and squabble between parties. The regime hates us all, no matter who we are — backers of the empire or national democrats or Russian Orthodox nationalists or whoever else — it hates us just because we are Russian, because we don’t hide it and because we fight as best we can for our rights and ideals.
We interfere with their desire to destroy Russia quickly and quietly. It is time now to begin building a “state within a state” in our midst, a society closed to outsiders where we can resolve all internal questions within it. We have no friends among the authorities, but we have many friends and like -minded people among businessmen, scientists and military men, among virtually all strata of Russian society. I will return to this topic in subsequent articles.
Igor Artemov is a well-known Russian Nationalist. His organization, Russian All – National Union [RONS] was proscribed last year and Artemov himself is on the run, as he is wanted by Federal Security Service for the ‘hate crime’ of writing

Note – the Jews pretend they were victims of the very system they instituted and controlled:
At Putin’s side, an army of Jewish billionaires. “We have to keep our Jewishness and be united in the Diaspora,” says Russian Jewish Congress VP. ”
http://www.jpost.com/Jewish-World/Jewish-Features/At-Putins-side-an-army-of-Jewish-billionaires
When the air-conditioning broke down at the reception for the unveiling ceremony of the Red Army monument in Netanya on Monday, it didn’t matter if you were a billionaire, multimillionaire or broke. Everyone suffered the same.
In one corner sat Mikhail Fridman, the seventh-richest man in Russia, whose fortune is estimated at $15 billion by Forbes. He stayed hydrated in the sweltering heat by sipping a glass of water. In another stood Moshe Kantor, the chemicals tycoon who Forbes said was worth $2.3b. He repeatedly removed the beads of sweat from his head with a napkin.
The two men were part of a group of two dozen or so affluent Russian-speaking businessmen who came to the ceremony where President Vladimir Putin was the guest of honor. Some, like Fridman, flew in especially from Russia. Others, like Kantor, drove from nearby Herzliya, where many businessman from the former Soviet Union including Leonid Nevzlin and Gabriel Mirilashvili, to name a few, have made their homes.
For many members of this class of ultra rich Putin’s arrival in the country was an opportunity for them to brush shoulders with one another and to mingle with friends and officials from the motherland. The richest man in the room filled with rich men was probably the media-shy Fridman, who declined to speak to The Jerusalem Post. “I am a private person,” he said, displaying seemingly good English.
Other faces were more familiar to locals. Lev Leviev, the diamonds and real estate mogul who is a bit of anomaly in this world, was on hand. Although born in Uzbekistan, then part of the Soviet Union, he immigrated to Israel as a teenager in the 1970s and made his money in the Jewish state. Only after the markets in the former Soviet Union opened did the Israeli, whose worth was estimated at about $1.7b. earlier this year, invest extensively in natural resources and property in that part of the world.
Not everybody in the room was a billionaire. Some were worth a mere couple of hundred of million dollars Alexander Levin, a Ukrainian businessman who was among those who donated to build the monument, is one of latter.
The real estate developer, who last year set up the World Forum for Russian Jewry, an advocacy group based in New York, explained why he it was an important cause.
“My two grandparents were killed during World War II so it’s very important to us,” he said. “We are paying just a little [in comparison to what they paid].”
How much is a little? Levin said the exact sum “was not important” but that it was “a lot of money.”
Members of United Israel Appeal-Keren Hayesod, which raised the money to build the marble and concrete monument overlooking the azure Mediterranean Sea, were also tight-lipped.
“We organized a group of 10 to 15 top businessmen who raised the money that helped transform this dream to reality,” said Gadi Dror, the UIA’s director of the eastern region. “We do not go [into the] figures because they [the donors] prefer not to but it is meaningful amount.”
A source later said each businessman had donated at least $100,000. Watching the group of mega-wealthy interact, one cannot help but wonder how so many affluent businessmen in the former Soviet Union are Jewish.
German Zakharyaev, vice president of the Russian Jewish Congress, cited two main reasons for that. First, Jews are few among many.
“We are a minority and as such we have to be strong [if we are] to preserve our customs,” said the businessman who, as a member of the Mountain Jewish community of the eastern Caucuses, is a minority within a minority.
“This is something in our commandments that we have to keep our Jewishness and be united in the Diaspora.” Second, he said, Jewish businessmen are hard workers. “We think a lot and we sleep a little,” he said.

Hoffman and his Strike Marines have fought from the icy wastes of Koen, to the jungles of Eridu, and even deep into the heart of a shattered moon, but their final mission will demand a price in blood.
The Lost Supernova (Lost Starship #10) – Vaughn Heppner
Androids used to mingle among us, pretending to be human. Then an alien puppet-master altered their programming. Unknown to us, androids began leaving human society, burning their clothes and peeling off their skin to reveal the chrome-colored bodies underneath.
They gathered in a system were a star had exploded, blowing away the atmosphere of a Jupiter-like planet. The supernova had hurled heavy metals against the remaining core. The androids are mining supermetals that can turn ordinary ship weapons and shields into invincible armaments.
The altered programming includes human genocide, which will start with a murderous attack on Earth.
Luckily, Captain Maddox finds the enemy system. But during a space battle, something happens to hurl Victory thousands of light-years away into the Scutum-Centaurus Spiral Arm. The crippled starship will take years to reach home again. Long before that, Earth will be a radioactive ruin.
Now begins a desperate journey in hostile space that will stretch everyone as Maddox strains to reach the Lord High Admiral in time with knowledge about the coming android attack.
With Your Shield (Four Horsemen Tales #10) – Chris Kennedy and Alex Rath
Come back with your shield…or on it!
Staff Sergeant Markus ‘Spartan’ Nicolos is one of the Intelligence Department’s best. A hacker who can beat any code, he’s in charge of communications intercepts for the Golden Horde’s Computer Operations section. When people can’t break a code, they bring in Spartan.
It wasn’t always this way, though. Spartan used to be a frontline CASPer pilot—someone who could be counted on to get the job done and bring the squad home safely…until he lost his entire squad in an ambush. He also lost his edge in the attack, and he swore he would never pilot a CASPer in combat again.
Everything changed, though, when he came up with an idea for a new type of scout CASPer—one that would prevent what happened to him from ever happening again. He’s been given a mech to convert and a team to help him bring his idea to reality. And he’s been given a chance to test it out on a Golden Horde deployment.
But in the time immediately before the events of the Omega War, forces are already moving behind the scenes, and nothing is as it seems…and they’re bringing along Spartan’s combat mech—which he said he’d never pilot in combat again—just in case.

You know when you’re in Chicago you HAVE to stop by one of the breweries who started it all; hence why eatingwithlittlemariii and I went to Goose Island Brewing Company?!
This was the first brewery stop we did while we were in Chicago and I have to say, it kind of ruined it for the rest of them, because with the tour itself and the beer that was available in the taproom, the bar (no pun intended) was set REALLY high.
From their website: Our History: Our famous beer began with a trip across Europe, when Goose Island founder (and unabashed beer lover) John Hall took a tour across the continent. Pint by pint, he savored the styles and selections of brews in every region, and thought to himself, “America deserves some damn fine beer like this, too.” Craft brewing wasn’t widely known at the time, but upon return from his European sojourn, John set out to change all that. He settled down in his hometown of Chicago—a city perfect for craft beer, with rapidly evolving tastes and the largest system of fresh water on the planet. And then he got to brewing. First he made some stellar beer. Then he invited his consumers in to watch his process at the brewery, bringing them behind the scenes every step of the way. The result was a new fascination with craft brewing, and beer that not only catered to people’s tastes, but challenged them as well. That was back in 1988, and we haven’t slowed down since. By 1995, John’s beer had become so popular that he decided to open a larger brewery, along with a bottling plant to keep up with demand. 1999 brought even more growth, along with an additional brewpub, and today, what was once one man’s pint-filled dream has become the Goose Island empire you know and love.
*Fun fact: The day they opened their doors was on a Friday the 13th in the year 1988.
Our Brewery: Our brewery was built in 1995 and has more than doubled in size since originally built. We bring you our tasty pints using 32 fermenters, over 15 different yeasts, state-of-the-art filters, centrifuges and a 50 barrel JV Northwest 5 vessel system that brews 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It turns out that making awesome brews is quite the science. Luckily our brewery facilities have all the equipment necessary to deliver results. Our packaging line alone bottles 500 cases an hour, with our keg line at a rate of 50 kegs every 60 minutes. Once the beer is complete, we store it at a crisp 38 degrees until shipping. In other words, we don’t mess around when it comes to filling the Goose Island demand. We even have separate rooms to house small batch innovation programs and yeast propagation units, and our barrel-aged beers have their own dedicated stockroom AND 143,000 square foot barrel warehouse. It’s only the very best equipment for our beer—and we invite you to learn more.
Our Hops: Tucked away in a secluded valley in Northern Idaho is Elk Mountain Farms – the place where Goose Island hops are grown and harvested. Head Farmer Ed Atkins shares the same passion and commitment to great beer as our brewers, and together they’ve worked to grow the farm from a 70-acre operation to a 1700-acre hop heaven. Here, over 50 different types of hops, including Goose Island favorites like Saaz, Amarillo and Cascade are cultivated along with numerous experimental varieties that could one day push the boundaries of beer for drinkers and brewers alike. Elk Mountain is more than just soil and plant life; it’s a laboratory, a studio, a blank canvas on which to paint the future of Goose Island beer.
Our Barrels: In 1992, Goose Island gave the beer industry a new reason to belly up to the bar: bourbon-aged beer. We pioneered the process, and it begins with first-use bourbon barrels. Our brewers only choose those that have had held sweet, sweet whiskey in their bellies for an average of 8 years, then they age our beer inside for 8-12 months. This process takes place in a non-climate controlled space, allowing exposure to the extreme heat and cold of Chicago’s ecosystem, which contracts and expands the wood, pulling the barrel’s whiskey character into our brew. Each barrel is used only once, ensuring the best quality taste in every pint. That first barrel-aging process yielded our ever-tasty Bourbon County Stout back in 2004. Three years later, we decided it was time to expand our barrel-aging program again. But this time our brewers brought wine barrels into the picture. They started with beer that had undergone primary fermentation in stainless steel casks, then transferred it to wine barrels, soaked with flavor. Next came fresh fruit and wild yeasts, and the beginning of a secondary fermentation inside the barrel. Aging went on for 9-18 months, creating beer with unprecedented depth of character, increased acidity and a light essence of fruit without too much sweetness. The variety of wine barrels we use now yield some of our most unique brews, including Sofie, Juliet, Lolita, Madame Rose, Gillian and Halia.
*Fun Fact: Their Bourbon county stout was submitted at the Great American Beer Festival when they first started brewing it and it was disqualified because they didn’t have a category for the percentage of alcohol in that beer (Usually the category topped off at 10% ABV). So basically, Goose Island started the barrel aged beer category at the GABF the next year.
Here are the explanations from the brewery:
Classics:
Honkers Ale [English Style Bitter (4.3% ABV/ 30 IBU)]: Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a spicy hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only a beer drinkers can trust but one they’ll look forward to.
Limited Releases:
Cooper Project No. 3 [Barrel Aged Porter (8.3% ABV/ (N/A) IBU)]: The Cooper Project is a rotating series of new recipes that highlight Goose Island’s expertise in bourbon barrel-aging. The third release of 2017, this Barrel-Aged Porter, starts life as a rich porter brewed with chocolate maltsand spices that is then barrel-aged for 3 months in fresh bourbon barrels.
Juicy Double [Double IPA (8.3% ABV/ 70 IBU)]: Juicy Double is a crisp Double India Pale Ale brewed with Orange Juice for a refreshing citrus finish.  Brewed with 7 hop varieties, this Imperial India Pale Ale weighs in at 8.3% ABV with an IBU of 70.  The bold hop character is nicely balanced with the citrus from the orange juice.
Keller Marzen [German Lager (6.3% ABV/ (NA) IBU)]: Our brewers traveled overseas to brew this limited release beer with our friends at Spaten Brauerei, the oldest brewery in Munich. It pays tribute to time honored Bavarian brewing traditions of brewing a stronger beer in March, lagering for many months and tapping the unfiltered beer at the end of the summer for Oktoberfest. The result is a smooth, malty and unfiltered golden lager with light, bready sweetness and a delicate German hop character.
Islay Scotch Barrel Stout [Imperial Stout (13.3% ABV/ (NA) IBU)]: Imperial stout aged in Ardbeg Scotch barrels for 15 months. Featured at the Festival of Barrel Aged Beers this weekend and here only (was there the weekend of Nov 9-11). Dense black with a viscous body and smoke and peat notes.
Flight Of V Pale Ale: No Description Available.
Holiday Ales:
Noel [Belgian Style Dark Ale (9.5% ABV/ 15 IBU)]: In Belgium, Noël beers were released at the end of the year as a special, limited release to thank loyal brewery customers for their support throughout the year. Goose Island Noël is an un-spiced Belgian-style, Dark Ale with balanced notes of caramelized sugar, toasted bread, black cherry, and dried apricot all in a warm, deep-mahogany body. This beer was brewed to celebrate the past year and toast the new year to come. From our brewers to you and yours, cheers and happy holidays.
Vintage Ales:
Sofie [Belgian Style Farmhouse Ale (6.5% ABV/ 20 IBU)]: Our sparkling Belgian Style Farmhouse Ale is wine barrel-aged with an abundance of hand-zested orange peel. Spicy white pepper notes contrast the citrus tartness. The light, refreshing, creamy vanilla finish will excite those fond of Champagne. Originally brewed by Belgian farmers to attract the best farm hands, we were inspired to brew an exceptional ale as inviting as the original Belgian Farmhouse ales. Light and effervescent, we named it for our founder’s granddaughter Sofie.
Juliet [Belgian Style Wild Ale (8.0% ABV/ 15 IBU)]: A tart, jammy, complex ale fermented with wild yeast and aged in wine barrels with fresh blackberries, with notes of wood, tannin, and spice. Inspired by sour beers from the Cantillon Brewery in Belgium, Juliet is a tart, jammy, complex ale fermented with wild yeast and aged in wine barrels with fifty pounds of fresh locally sourced blackberries, with notes of wood, tannin, and spice.
Bourbon County:
Bourbon County Wheat Wine [Wheat Wine (15% ABV/ (NA) IBU)]: Brewed in honor of the 1000th batch at our original Clybourn brewpub. A liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with thick foam the color of a bourbon barrel. The nose is an intense mix of charred oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke. One sip has more flavor than your average case of beer.
Here’s what I thought:
Honkers Ale: This one is an English Bitter. It has flowery/citrusy scents. Very aromatic. Tasted like flowers as well. Light. Crisp & refreshing.
Cooper Project No. 3: This one smells like a straight cask which was followed by a bit of chocolatey scents. It was actually quite light & crisp. It completely envelopes your palette.
Juicy Double: This one actually had quite the light scent. Not too hoppy at all. And the tastes were extremely light, smooth and crisp. It was not overbearing in the least.
Keller Marzen: Malty scents and it tasted malty as well. It had slight citrus tastes but was extremely crisp.
Islay Scotch Barrel Stout: You can smell the cask that the beer has been fermenting in. You can legit get light headed and feel tipsy by just smelling it. Has a smoky aftertaste, kind of like the whisky (barrel) the beer was aging in. Delicious, smooth, light & milky (the mouthfeel).
Flight Of V Pale Ale: Smells super hoppy; but you can smell the malts as well with a tinge of citrus. The taste though is not as hoppy as it smells. Crisp. Refreshing.
Noel: Had a bready/malty taste with a bit of a Belgian beer, just not as spiced. It was actually quite crisp for it’s colour.
Sofie: This one was actually put in wine barrels instead of whiskey barrels. Scents of a Belgian beer; crisp, light and refreshing. It’s kind of like a light Belgian. You get different tastes with each sip you take. And there were hints of citrus in the aftertaste as well.
Juliet: This one had fruity, citrusy scents. Kind of like blackberries. But when you sip it back, this one smacks you in the mouth. But it was also, crisp, light, delicious & tart.
Bourbon County Wheat Wine: Has aromas like it was taken straight out of a cask. You can taste & smell the bourbon barrel that this beer was sitting in. Light, a bit malty with some caramel notes as well.
So all in all with the ambiance of the brewery, the rich history and the beers we were served I would give Goose Island Brewing Company 5 out of 5 piggys!
They give dope tours with a flight of tastings [(3) per tour] for only $12!

Fear and God
I attended my first campus ministry service last night. The worship portion was incredible, and most of the Sermon was great too, until the pastor said what I quoted below. I immediately looked inward and began asking the Holy Spirit to interpret the situation for me, and found quickly that his words, unbeknownst to him, were a reflection of the egoic inadequacies I see in myself. A projection of the split mind. Ironically and paradoxically, my ego became enraged. It wanted me to laugh at him, to shout things to make him feel invalid, to make him wrong. But because I chose to host a conversation with J instead, I was able to see what he was saying for what it was truthfully and not confuse it with the part of him that shares the light of God with me. It was not easy to quiet my ego-mind and I had to constantly and vigilantly choose against it for the rest of the night, until this morning when I calmly received some wisdom and explanation from J on how this thought system came to be. It’s reflective of what I have read in A Course in Miracles, Disappearance of the Universe, and The Power of Now. Yet, some of what my inner response was from my whole mind was just simply of J to me. Any sarcasm used it simply to make a point/contrast more clear, not to put unnecessary judgement on the idea. This is how it went down:
“Surrender to Jesus and fear of God is the only way… there’s a storm coming, and it’s going to be really bad if you don’t choose right. There is the only religion, and all the others.” -Let’s call him Pastor Joe
What this would mean is, there is one singular path to heaven and if you don’t follow it you will feel the wrath of God.
There’s a major fallacy in this idea- what about the people in the world who will never be exposed to this specific belief or “way” or “path?” Are they damned to hell for their ignorance? Or is this path you speak of only for those privileged enough to be 1) literate or 2) in a developed enough country to experience ministry? Exclusivity is of the ego-mind, not Heaven. Typically where exclusivity is present, a power struggle lies beneath the surface. (Hint: God does not have to struggle for power, but the human ego does!) More on that in a bit.
Fearing authority is a motif we see in ever tyrant and leader throughout history. Why might an authority figure use fear? Perhaps to control people? And why might fear be a powerful means to control others? Because fear is one of two major motivators to human action. Let’s look at the origin of fear before we delve into how people have become possessed by it historically.
Most people unknowingly develop an entire thought system- an alliance to un-being, from fear, and forget the part of them that was created by God, as Being, void of fear or form. This fear-minded thought system is of the ego- or the part of the mind who believes itself to be void of God. Part of the mind who now fears God, because it believes it left heaven and created a universe of multiplicity. What might be a great way to convince itself everything is fine? To write a book that says God creates the mess it made. So, deep down it fears it will be punished if it tries to return, so it perpetually creates places to hide and ways to avoid (what is believed to be) its inevitable inhalation. How is it going to explain to God that it created a whole universe that operates through separation, from mitosis to break ups, AND blames it on God through a rose colored lenses for literally thousands of years of religion? It does this by dwelling in your mind, and pointing at all “outside of you” that is unworthy or worthy and judging it. What is doesn’t want to face, is that IT, the ego, created everything it deems either worthy or unworthy. That which creates unworthiness will fear bringing it to the alter of the Divine. In short, the ego-mind believed it was separate, and fears the God-mind from which it came. So, it wishes to dwell in a world it created to hide from it’s shame. And who wouldn’t be ashamed to create a species that causes so much pain and suffering? When Jesus said I am, he meant he is, outside of time created by the ego. He meant that you cannot find your original being in anyplace but right now- in the Being that originally is I am. What has been confused by the ego-mind, is that Jesus was making himself a special super-hero by naming himself the son of God. He was simply pointing us inward to our true reality- as sons of God. **for more about the origin of fear-do some research in the books I mentioned earlier and take small bites- it’s a lot and your ego might spaz on you at first Back to the history of fear- When looking at world leaders, or human nature in general, fear moves us based on conditions. If you do this or that, you’ll be rewarded. If you don’t do what I say, you’ll be sorry you didn’t. I’ll make you suffer. You earn your place under fear-authority. The other more commonly misconstrued motivator is Love. Not special love/relationship love- but true, unending, indestructible, outwardly extending Love, which is the nature of Being from which you originate. The biggest difference you can see between the two in any given scenario is that fear seeks to take or trade; there is perceived lack so energy must be obtained to fill the receiver like a vacuum. Love, is, on the contrary, self-actualizing and seeks only to extend itself through sharing what is infinite and joyous- without exception or opposite. It flows outwardly from within like a fountain. Fear keeps salvation in the future, which is so to say, “if you don’t fear God, THEN when judgement day COMES, you will be in trouble.” While Love provides salvation here and now- outside of the ego-made time continuum because Love knows you truly never left. Love knows fear is not powerful enough to break the connection between Heaven and it’s children. Love says, “You are with heaven NOW, so relinquish all within you that doesn’t stem from unity and joy or you will continue to hurt yourself and make pain.” Love, of course, doesn’t seek to inflict further pain, but relinquish it entirely. Love does not withhold, because it is beyond form. Only that of which stems from form can withhold, because form has a beginning and an end. It has a birth and death. Love is beyond the veil of the birth- death cycle, and so it is infinitely more powerful and reliable.
So, one might say that fear seems like a stronger motivator for authority, and in many ways they would be correct. Most leaders will use fear to control others out of expediency for their movement. Fear-controlling leadership is in a hurry to get from others what it perceives it lacks in itself. It might even call the “getting” it’s divine right to have. [Yet, Jesus says to not take up the treasures of the world, but the treasures of heaven.] It’s in a hurry to have as many people on board and don’t think about missing the ship- if you do, you’re screwed! Perfect Love does not operate like this. How could it? Perfect love is patient because it exists outside of the rushes of human-made time continuum. It meets you exactly where you are and works with you IN time specifically, because in a world of multiplicity, you have unique needs. If I was a doctor, I would not try to scare a patient into getting better, because that would be insane. I would find what is wrong and expose the illness to them and find a treatment method for them. Darkness cannot destroy darkness, only light can relinquish the dark; not by destruction, but by simply Being what it is. This is how you relinquish darkness: by remembering and simply Being who you are. Jesus simply is I am, and so he relinquishes all darkness. For us this is the job of the Holy Spirit or the bridge between the unmanifested and the world of form. The Holy Spirit can be summoned by people who are not christians- who do not even call it the Holy Spirit. I’ll explain how this is so further. Say the Holy Spirit lives in a house in everyone’s neighborhood. Imagine it only opened when self-proclaimed christians came knocking. Imagine if it said, “you must declare Jesus as LORD before I can help you!” This would mean the Holy Spirit needs allegiance pledges before acting or moving. This is exactly what the Pharisees were doing in biblical time that Jesus was speaking out against! (Which was indeed a crazy thing to do during those times). To need anything is to assume there was a lack to begin with. True Loyalty is a result of being embraced, not a prerequisite. When loyalty is brought in by fear, it will always be open to other mean, because fear is not our true nature. Fear-bound loyalty will turn its back on its master when it is drawn to the light like a moth. So, by logical deduction- a Holy Spirit or God that needs a prerequisite to provide comfort and healing is no actual God at all. How can this be? To understand it better you must understand how scripture and institutionalized religion came to be.
Here's how it makes sense to me, based on what I've studied in school and on my own. Perhaps it'll resonate with you: Christianity (specifically the more powerful denominations) as it stands today- with churches, laws, dues, and the structure of the Bible is all a product of what someone decided it would be. This someone was not Jesus. This someone, Constantine and company, was a man/group of men who feared God, were moved powerfully, and assumed it was their divine right to use the same fear of God to move others as well. To no fault of his own, Constantine began a bit of a religious revolution that other leaders who were searching for a means to power caught on to. The very same institution that crucified Jesus began to realize what kind of control they could have over the masses again, like in the great Roman Empire, if they used the idea of a God-fearing religion to gain a loyal following. Like a lot of the same old, but made shiny and new and terrifyingly convincing. [Rhetoric is a powerful tool in convincing] They had a new secret weapon as well, that other religions seemed to be lacking– one that set them apart from the rest and seemed to be a way to bring validity to their cause. This weapon- was the resurrection. (*note: I don't think a bunch of whites guys conspired around a round table while laughing manically; the ego works much more subtly than that) How could they use the story of Jesus’ conquering of death to trick the masses into following fearfully? The same way man always has- they made an idol out of a savior. What? Isn’t Jesus a good idol? The messiah? Don’t quit on me just yet– To make a true idol you must make a person unattainably more special than anyone else. How do you do that? You make him born a virgin, of course! Who else could match against that? Then, you make your idol absolutely, and insufferably perfect and without mortal fault. Do you think it’s coincidence that the documentation of the first half of Jesus’s life is non-existent? Genuine question to ponder. Again, love a good conspiracy but really start looking into that. Proof of his humanity would be futile to their idol. And how would they paint this Jesus on their future temples? As a Caucasian man, whom they believed was of ultimate superiority as well. The next thing you do in creating the perfect idol is, you make everything he did completely unattainable by mere mortals. This way, nobody would ever match up against Jesus, and that, is truly terrifying. How could people not be duped? When the first creators of what is institutionalized Christianity today organized the Bible, they so conveniently changed what they didn’t understand to match their power-agenda. The accounts that didn’t add up for their plan for control and conquer and worldly wealth were cast aside or burned. Those who were true to “the way” which was what Jesus’ first followers called his teachings, were able to take their accounts and stories and hide them in tombs with the hopes that someday the truth would be revealed– yet even some of those accounts were just that, anecdotes that may or may not have been skewed by biases or wishful thinking. For example, scrolls have been recovered in recent years by archeologists with biblical stories that mention reincarnation. This was stripped from the original edit, because reincarnation insinuates what? A second chance to figure it out, and the opportunity to ponder that a creator other than God may be responsible for this- and that may be us. That would mean we have the chance and power to change it! But there are no second chances when fear is in charge, there is only judgement and damnation of those unworthy. A brief study of the Roman Catholic Church reveals an uncanny resemblance to the power-control-judgement-damnation cycle I am emphasizing. To further my point- compare the amount of pain and death that has arisen from a church that uses God-fear to control people to the amount of life and joy it has spread. I’m not saying the latter is unrecognizable, but it certainly is eclipsed by the first. ***for more on fear and power look for my paper on Machiavelli… or just read Machiavelli
What the first church institutions did to the Gospels was make a New Testament into a new Old Testament. I cannot both be a critical thinker and think that fearing God and earning a spot in heaven was the intended message of the actual Jesus.
I hope if you’ve made it this far into my post, you know that as I share my thoughts I do not do so out of judgement for those who believe this way. I was one of them and most people are. I am simply moved to share in what I believe to be the truth. If the thoughts of my take on theology makes your guts hurt, ask yourself why? Why does what she is saying feel like an attack on me? Pray on it. Ask for the truth. It may be different linguistically to different people, but it liberates us all the same. I didn’t need to try to prove that pastor wrong because if I did, then I too would be coming from fear instead of extending from Love. Do not stand by and blindly accept something that seems inherently flawed or lacking logical meaning. Ask why over and over until it makes sense and you are liberated by it! And knock on the Holy Spirits door. The answer may not be what you want to hear but it will be exactly as you need to hear it to awaken to the truth.

“Well, that’s the first time anyone calls me well-connected. I mean, need someone to whisper into the Emperor’s ear? Afraid you’re out of luck,” and she smiled wryly, with the absolute knowledge that no one in the army had less influence over Iedolas than herself. And she didn’t care, honestly – Aranea wasn’t in the army for political intrigue or anything like that – she was after good pay and good gear.
“But if you need to find the best beer in town or score some good weed? Then I’m your girl,” Now knowing she had Loqi’s full attention, she walked into his office, one of her free hands twirling a small silvery braid around her finger. Loqi’s office was… Professional. Like something she expected of someone twice his age, but tastefully decorated (she had seen what Ardyn and Caligo had done with theirs and she almost gagged).
“The thing is, people in the streets don’t love us to pieces. We have money, they don’t, so we might seem easy prey. And I’m sure we can kick their asses if we need, but that would spoil the fun,” she said, approaching his desk and leaning against the edge, giving Loqi a long, clinical look.
“Can you dress like a regular party kid?”

The dragoon was happy to be led – she suspected Ignis was at the Leville, because where else would the retinue of a runaway prince take shelter? But Aranea didn’t care for luxury as much as she cared for whatever the adviser had in mind. They had exchanged more than a few texts, but open invitations for her to join him were something of a rarity still.
“You’ve never gone through the experience of living off army food, have you?” she asked with an impish grin and keeping close to the man. It could be to avoid losing him in the small crowd of the market; it could be because she was trying to take a better look at what he had bought and guess the recipe herself… Or it could be because the commodore was enjoying the proximity.
“Besides, if anything you make is like these dishes you’ve offered me so far, I’d never have skipped your invitation for such a sensorial experience,” her words were full of hidden meanings but Ignis certainly was able to pick it all up. Aranea wasn’t a shy woman, after all, and her appraising glances, easy smirks and oddly lingering touches couldn’t very well fool such an intelligent man.
Not once she seemed to be recognized – well, discarding an imperial armor with edges sharp enough to cut through skin and fabric alike probably helped. Outside of armor, Aranea was just a regular woman in ripped jeans, combat boots and a low-cut tank top that helped her withstand the humid heat of Lestallum, although she still favored darker hues and her outfit resembled the country she officially served.
“Am I the sole guest of honor for this evening or should I expect prince charming and your other friends too?” she asked when the hotel came into view, turning to glance at Ignis’s profile instead.

“By all means. Tonight I’m following your lead for food and drinks,” she winked at him playfully, a callback to their first date which had involved exactly the opposite – Aranea picked the food and the drinks, as well as the place and the contrast was amusing. The dragoon had gone to a street joint, for a casual bite and not even dressed up; now they were in an upscale restaurant with wine and actual background music.
“Well, considering this is the first time we’re on a date for which there was no kidnapping involved, I’d say we’re doing some progress,” she teased the adviser, but she had to give it to Ignis – he was a man of his word. He said they’d meet and there they were – enjoying a meal at the Mother Pearl. She had even dressed up for it – a dark green shirt with a black skirt, with a pair of shoes that allowed her to walk somewhat decently.
Leaning against the back of the couch, she set her gaze on her companion for the evening. “Did they ever found out about our secret spin with the car?”
