There was a swift nod of Kiyoko's head, she was proud she actually remembered Karin's favorite.

"You're welcome! We don't have to share, I made sure I got your favorite." Kiyoko did bring her own, albeit in a smaller container. "We can eat ice cream and hang out, though."

Getting a new start was more of a priority than getting her things. There was a quick nod of her head, "I'm ready to head out… what's Konoha like anyway?" She knew very little of the other nations, other than the one she was born in hated her clan. There were books back at the hideout that had information on the other nations, but she kept away from them, those weren't for her.

It looks like everything worked out. Looks like she really didn’t want to be here. No wonder Ottogakure is a creepy place where you can easily become expendable. Especially if you are talented.

Kiyoko hadn't gotten over the loss of her found family. There were others still in the village she considered family but the FIVE? They were her closest. Juugo was still there though, they could swap memories of her brother together. That seemed to help on the toughest of days.

She would be leaving Juugo's room to head back to her own, maybe get some reading in. Kiyoko passed the other's rooms, empty now of course, looking away with a clenched fist. Maybe, just maybe if she were stronger? Had more fighting experience? She could have been out there helping, maybe then they'd have a chance.

Shaking it off, she'd pay attention to where she was going, finding the lab before walking in, seeing someone new in there. "Um, hello?" Her voice was a bit quiet and scratchy from the cry she had earlier.

Kiyoko frowned, maybe she was being rude. "I… I mean I could have been overwhelmed without help but. Sorry, I shouldn't have reacted like that." She bowed her head, trying to apologize for how she acted. Her bones were struggling to keep up with the ninja that were attacking her. Of course, she was not her brother. Thinking she could handle all of them at once was foolish.

"I want to make friends with them, I know they're your teammates…" But she was trying to make friends, even though she should also be out there honing her abilities. She wasn't going to be a front line fighter. No way, her abilities weren't as strong as her brother's despite having similar potential.

"You'd think the others would be too afraid to pick on me, knowing whose sister I am." Then again, they could just take their frustration on him out on her. The fact she was still alive meant she was able to take frustrations just fine.

"I'd love to meet Juugo sometime. But how do you know when he's not in one of his rages?"

"I could help those in the hospital, I was trained under Kabuto." Kiyoko was worried that those who were being treated by her wouldn't trust her. Unless no one told them where she came from, but she did have the Kaguya face paint. That was something that she was never going to get rid of. Never.

"I'm going to get a piece of cake and some very fresh bread." The smell of the fresh baked goods was so intoxicating. Her stomach started growling loudly. "Maybe a few cookies too."

“Hmmm.” Karin thought for a moment. “I could see if those at the Konoha hospital could find you a place among them like me.” She said. “I know Sakura and she’s one of the hospitals best so- any word from her would be as good as gold.” She explained. 

“Oh, and pick what you want, it’s my treat.” She added as she pointed to the display of baked good before the both of them.

Kiyoko was exhausted and disappointed that her work had been deemed a failure… again. She looked up when she heard the voice and saw her brother. "Ah, helping Lord Orochimaru with his work. I was dismissed for the day. I'm going to go grab some food, want to come along?" The young one would let out a yawn, raising a hand to cover it. It was a long day after all, there was hope this cure would work and all of that was dashed in a matter of hours.

Kimimaro was heading back inside after an afternoon of training with his team. Now that the Sound Four weren’t around, he could allow some of his pain to show in his face. He dragged his feet, tired and sweaty. But when he saw Kiyoko, he immediately straightened up, and his expression brightened.

“Kiyoko!” he called, waving. “I haven’t seen you in a while. What have you been up to?”

"Oh... thank you?" Yukimi is very confused.

Haruna would get ready to stick it on a fire.

Luna was happy to have a fish, this one seemed to be her favorite kind.

Lillian was offended by the fish and would be able to get better from one of the bougie shops in town.

Onpu would have taken the fish home to her family.

Kiyara would look at the fish and wonder if that belonged in bread, that would be interesting!

Kohana would have the fish and try to preserve it the best she could.

Yachiru would take the fish, wondering if Kenny would want it... or could she slap Ichigo with it?

"I don't need fish, I need humans..." It seems that Fujiko didn't like the fish at all. "I need to keep him happy." She was panicked.

"Oh, I love fish... I wonder if I can remove the bones myself and have a good dinner." Kiyoko was pleased and already planning several meals from one singular fish.

"Yes." She hugged Haku tightly, it had been a while. Kiyoko herself had gone off on a mission, it went well, but she was exhausted. The worn out woman missed her girlfriend, it was a long week. Kiyoko only took missions that needed a healer or someone needing help with medical assistance. It didn't matter the village, she just wanted to help. Pay didn't matter either, she just wanted to help someone. "I missed you."
