"you lose him exactly how you found him" a quote i just read and it made me go absolutely feral
#sammy says shit#for context that quote was from a tarot reading (i think) or atleast something similar#and it made me think about v and misty (not her personally but you know the tarot reading stuff and the quest where you find the murals)#v and misty are good friends and while v is certainly the kind of person who will call anything esoteric silly#she still respects misty in a way#but to get to the point#v let misty read her tarot once and thats it#why? because it became true (as true as these things can be but lets not get into it)#and v hates!! hates! HATES it#because it makes her feel like her choices dont matter#it makes her feel powerless.. like a puppet to fate or god or whatever#and i said this works well with the suicide ending#and it does#but when misty says#'you will lose him like you met him' she asks her who she is talking about#ofc v knows its a rhetorical question#and then she says no#if i have to lose him i will lose him in a way i choose#and i think thats beautiful#'i will die for you but i want to live for you' 🥹
