Wakanda has been compromised.
Steve Rogers, no longer Captain America and now an internationally wanted criminal, manages with the help of King T'Challa to remove James Buchanan Barnes before things go completely south.
Rogers leaves him with the only person he realistically can. Darcy Lewis.
Barnes, awakened prematurely from cryo-sleep and still missing one arm as well as his sense of humour, is not impressed.

(Warning : Explicit)
The Working Girl's Guide to Taming Your Imaginary Boyfriend
Jane, who was only trying to help - honest - inadvertently stitches Darcy up. Darcy, who's never been known to back down from a challenge, runs with it. Awkwardly.
Bucky Barnes doesn't know what's about to hit him.
You & Me (We Gotta Whole Lotta History)
When Jane is summoned by Tony Stark to work alongside the Avengers, Darcy tags along but after a workplace accident finds herself thrown back and forth against her will through history. In the present timeline, Steve struggles with the Winter Soldier and what may or may not be left of Bucky within the hollow shell that haunts him. In the past, Darcy struggles to reconcile the man she meets across space and time with the assassin that arrives at the tower strapped to a gurney with armed guards afraid to let him out of their sight.
Back in Black (with @wunderlass)
Bucky’s the mysterious newcomer to Ramsay Street and everyone thinks he’s bad for Darcy. This is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Australian soap opera style.
Advent
advent ˈadv(ə)nt,-vɛnt/ noun noun: advent; plural noun: advents; noun: Advent Old English, from Latin adventus ‘arrival’, from advenire, from ad- ‘to’ + venire ‘come’.
1. the arrival of a notable person or thing.
L-O-V-E (Love the Way You Give it to Me)
Bucky arrives home late after a mission as Captain America. Darcy's promised to wait up for him. (Explicit)
Ever After
When Bucky prevents little Darcy Lewis from breaking a limb or two as she falls down the stairs, he's unprepared for what the bump on her head that he was unable to stop will bring them both.
All That Hocus Pocus
Darcy Lewis does a good deed, and rescues a cat from outside her local grocers. All she wanted was to be a good person, and maybe catch up with the other, more traditional, witches. She's in for a nasty shock.
A Twist in the Tale
Darcy's helping out whilst Jane does her bit to promote STEM to a class of little girls. They've been tasked with 'Adopt a Soldier', a program that organises letters and care packages to soldiers serving overseas. In the meantime, Jane's working hard on the Einstein-Rosen Bridge theory and when it becomes practical then the program changes quite significantly.
Do Not Count the Candles (But Notice the Light They Give)
He’s disappeared.
It’s his birthday party, the one that Stark insisted on throwing for him, and he’s just gone. Vanished like hot breath on a mirror, there and then gone, no trace left behind. No one else, she thinks, has noticed yet. Steve will, give it another ten minutes maybe and he’ll look up from the pool table where Sam is currently kicking his ass, and he’ll realise that Bucky is nowhere to be seen.
Spellbound
Halloween is 'Come As You Aren't' night; and Bucky's trying out something else for size. (Explicit)
Do You Want to Play a Game?
It had been Barton’s idea.
His idea, and his grey eyes crinkled and the corners of his mouth twitched as he looked over at Natasha whilst explaining it. The game, he said, was called Assassins.
Natasha’s right eyebrow raised at that, but she made no other comment.
Stark, also looking over at Romanoff, grinned. “Continue, Legolas.”

Photograph
When the chips are down, Steve knows a guy who can help.
Fun General Fics

Time Travel: Is It Possible in the Past or Future?
Introduction
The idea of time travel has always fascinated scientists, philosophers, and even storytellers. But is it really possible to travel through time, either into the past or the future? Stephen Hawking, in his famous book The Universe in a Nutshell, explores this idea in depth using both physics and mathematics. In this research article, we will break down the concept of time travel in simple terms and explore the scientific theories, hypotheses, experiments, and fun facts surrounding this mind-boggling topic.
Time Travel in Physics
Time, as described in physics, is not just a straight line that we follow but is part of a "space-time" fabric. Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity revolutionized how we think about time and space. According to his General Theory of Relativity, time and space are interconnected, forming a four-dimensional fabric called "spacetime."
Time Dilation: One key aspect of time travel is "time dilation," which is a proven phenomenon. It means that time moves slower for objects moving at extremely high speeds (close to the speed of light). This has been observed in experiments involving particles in accelerators and in atomic clocks flown on airplanes. If you could travel close to the speed of light, time would pass slower for you than for someone on Earth. In theory, this means you could travel into the future.
Time Travel to the Future
Stephen Hawking and many other scientists believe that traveling to the future is theoretically possible. Based on Einstein's Theory of Relativity:
Special Relativity: As we approach the speed of light, time slows down for the traveler relative to someone who remains stationary. If astronauts travel in a spaceship at nearly the speed of light and return to Earth, they would find that more time has passed on Earth than for them. This is one way to "travel into the future."
Gravitational Time Dilation: In the presence of a strong gravitational field (like near a black hole), time also passes slower. This is another way that future time travel could occur.Mathematical Expression:Δt′=Δt1−v2c2\Delta t' = \Delta t \sqrt{1 - \frac{v^2}{c^2}}Δt′=Δt1−c2v2Where:
Δt′\Delta t'Δt′ is the time experienced by the traveler.
Δt\Delta tΔt is the time experienced by a stationary observer.
vvv is the velocity of the moving object.
ccc is the speed of light.
Time Travel to the Past
Traveling to the past, however, is much more complicated and controversial. According to the laws of physics as we currently understand them, there is no clear way to travel to the past without causing problems like "paradoxes."
The Grandfather Paradox: This paradox is one of the biggest problems with time travel to the past. It asks, "What happens if you travel back in time and prevent your grandfather from meeting your grandmother?" If you do that, you would never be born, but if you were never born, how could you go back in time to prevent their meeting?
Wormholes: In The Universe in a Nutshell, Hawking discusses the idea of "wormholes" as a possible method of time travel. A wormhole is like a tunnel that connects two distant points in spacetime. In theory, if one end of the wormhole moves differently through time than the other, it could create a passage between two different times. However, keeping a wormhole stable enough for time travel would require "exotic matter" (with negative energy), which we don’t yet fully understand.Mathematical Expression (Wormholes and Einstein-Rosen Bridge):ds2=−c2dt2+(dr21−2GMr)+r2(dθ2+sin2θdϕ2)ds^2 = -c^2 dt^2 + \left( \frac{dr^2}{1-\frac{2GM}{r}} \right) + r^2 (d\theta^2 + \sin^2\theta d\phi^2)ds2=−c2dt2+(1−r2GMdr2)+r2(dθ2+sin2θdϕ2)This is the Schwarzschild metric that describes a non-rotating black hole or a wormhole.
Cosmic Strings: Another interesting idea for time travel is "cosmic strings." These are thin, high-energy tubes left over from the early universe. Two cosmic strings moving past each other at high speeds could bend spacetime enough to allow for time travel.
Hypotheses of Time Travel
Closed Timelike Curves (CTCs): This hypothesis suggests that under certain conditions, spacetime could bend in such a way that an object could return to its own past. These are called "closed timelike curves." The concept was explored in theoretical physics but has many limitations and is highly speculative.
Hawking's Chronology Protection Conjecture: Stephen Hawking proposed a hypothesis called the Chronology Protection Conjecture, which says that the laws of physics prevent time travel to the past. According to Hawking, if time travel to the past were possible, it would create paradoxes and instability in the universe. He believed that nature has a way of "protecting" the timeline from such disruptions.
Experiments and Evidence
While time travel to the past has not been observed, there are real experiments that suggest time travel to the future is possible in small ways:
Twin Paradox: In this thought experiment, one twin travels at high speed into space while the other stays on Earth. When the traveling twin returns, they are younger than their sibling due to time dilation. This is not just a theory; a similar effect has been observed in experiments with particles in particle accelerators.
Muon Experiments: Muons are particles that decay very quickly. When scientists send muons at close to the speed of light, they last longer than they would at rest, due to time dilation. This is a form of time travel into the future for these particles.
Fun Facts about Time Travel
Time Travel in Pop Culture: The concept of time travel is popular in movies like Back to the Future and Interstellar, where the characters explore the idea of moving through time. While these movies are entertaining, they are often based on real scientific ideas.
Faster-than-light Travel: If it were possible to travel faster than light, you could theoretically arrive at a destination before you left, which could be a form of time travel. However, according to Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, nothing can travel faster than the speed of light.
Conclusion
Time travel, especially to the future, is not just science fiction but is rooted in the laws of physics, thanks to Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. However, traveling to the past remains a challenging and speculative concept, with paradoxes like the Grandfather Paradox making it difficult to imagine without breaking the laws of nature. While we don't yet have the technology or understanding to make time travel possible, the idea continues to fascinate scientists and the public alike. From wormholes to cosmic strings, the possibilities for time travel keep us curious and engaged in the mysteries of the universe.

Fowler might have opened up for only a side hug, but Dennis went in with both arms and nestled right into Fowler's side like he belonged there. "Rough day. Need a hug."
“Oh, well uh...take your time,” the double armed hug catches him off guard, but he does manage to loosen up a little bit to pat the kid on his back, his torso like a hard body pillow. “You uh...want to talk about it?”

He almost asks what he was doing in the alley, was anyone around to see and what time approximately he thought it was, all the standard questioning, but instead paused, looking back at Dennis as he struggled with speaking. Bev would concede that he was far from the smartest man in the room at any given time, but you didn't have to be a genius to see when someone was reliving a traumatic experience in some form or another.
"Hey, kid....look at me alright? Everything's alright, you don't have to go in there at all okay? You need a minute?"
legattus:
anotherhumanpet:
“Sure.” Dennis huffs and shoves his hands into his sweater pocket, scanning the streets until he found what he was looking for. After locating the alleyway where Achim had tried to kill him, he pulls out a hand and points to it. “That’s where he got me. He came up from behind and chased me through there.”
It was at this point that Bev snapped into work mode, studying the alleyway down to the most minute detail, mapping out the scenario in his head as he stroked the beginning scruff of a beard starting to form on his jaw. “All the way to the end of the alley?”
He stepped into it, retracing the steps with his own, looking up and over and around. “He had you cornered, how did you get out?”
His throat grew tight and rather than trying to speak around the iron grip around his throat Dennis opts to point to the other end of the alley. While the end that they were standing at lead into the streets, the other side lead to a quiet, dirty, unmarked little sideroad; The ones typically seen being used by dump trucks, load trucks, or shady ass drivers. “He came from there,” he says quietly, “and I ran out to here.”

Okay, so I know that it’s been said that the timeline that Douxie originally remembers doesn’t have Morgana’s death, but he also has memory loss due to the amount of sleep spells. Therefore, it is entirely possible that he caused himself to remember the events of his life incorrectly by accidentally modifying his memories (in addition to the fact that after all these years he might still misremember details). In this way, the time travel in the show Wizards may yet still work as a single self-contained timeline that abides by Novikov self-consistency principle. It was impossible to change the timeline, and had Douxie not subjected his past self to so many sleep spells then he would know this.
However, actually stating this out loud could have ruined parts of the show, given that so many parts of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy are dependent upon characters making hard choices and having the free will to do so. Likewise, many of the villains of the trilogy are victims of losing their free will. The problem with time travel is that it must either follow the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, produce paradoxes due to changes in the timeline, or follow through with the fact that when it comes to time travel there is no free will; specifically, it is impossible to change the past. Not only would have the removal of free will gone against the themes presented by the trilogy, it also would have removed the tension inherent to the plot of Wizards. All we would have had to worry about was the possibility of Jim, Douxie, Claire, or Steve dying in the past.
Then again, another possibility comes up: while one can interpret things as to try and follow the Nokivov self-consistency principle, it is more than likely that the writers of this show either do not understand modern physics or have chosen to write very different theories for the Tales of Arcadia universe. This would line up with the plot point about Krel breaking the laws of physics with his wormhole generator. Wormholes (otherwise known as Schwarzschild wormholes, Einstein-Rosen bridges, or Einstein-Rosen wormholes) do not break Einstein’s theory of general relativity. Meanwhile, Akiridion-V is implied to exist about 50 light years away from Earth, and yet not only were various Akiridion ships able to travel to Earth without the use of a wormhole generator, regular Earth phones were able to contact Akiridion-V. This breaks a fundamental law of physics: nothing with a rest mass greater than zero can go faster than the speed of light.

@affcgato|| CLOSED || Osprey in the Old West
@affcgato ||
Part of the arrangement Darcy had with SHIELD regarding her position as the Copper Osprey’s caretaker was that she was readily available for any sort of consultation that required the expertise of an astrophysicist versed in Einstein-Rosen bridge anomalies. It was, however, rare for such a consultation to be within driving distance of the safehouse.
Sante Fe was only two hours away, and with her particular driving habits Darcy tended to make the trip in an hour and a half barring traffic. When she arrived, the bug guts on the old Bronco’s windshield shone oddly in the twilight, and there was the faint scent of ozone in the air. The agent-in-charge had come out as soon as she had turned off the truck, rounding the front end to meet her as she slid out from behind the steering wheel.
“Dr. Lewis,” he greeted, holding up an arm towards a non-descript storefront at the end of an otherwise abandoned strip mall. Inside she could just see the telltale blue light from multiple computer screens and servers edging out from the backroom. There was a dusty sign propped up in the only front entrance claiming that it was ‘Out of Business,’ but the hum of activity when Agent Whatshisname—Vaughn? Vance? Something with a V—brought her in said otherwise.
There were a lot of agents stationed around the converted shop. Makeshift desks were propped up on workhorses and strips of plywood, while those further back were the folding metal ones she was more familiar with seeing on a SHIELD site. Agent Forgettable herded her to a workspace in the back, near what she could only assume were a few analysts brought in to try to make sense of whatever anomaly they had picked up.
The first night was a lot of catch-up. Reports of things and animals, three notable instances of people, disappearing and reappearing in different locations. There was even a report of a covered wagon appearing in the middle of an intersection, triggering a few collisions, before galloping down the block and disappearing in a flash. Given the location, the bizarre weather anomalies that coincided with each incident—and the history of purported UFO sightings overall, it seemed as though SHIELD wanted to err on the side of caution and get a team on the ground and an expert’s opinion before a main thoroughfare turned into the OK Corral or something.
The next day she’d badgered Whatshisname for better coffee and gotten the analysts to give her the specific coordinates and times between each incident to begin a tracker using her specific methods to narrow down the affected area within the city. That had been the majority of the first full day.
When dusk set in, she’d been reviewing footage from traffic cameras when she got the idea to walk along the covered wagon’s path with a phase meter just to see what she would pick up. After New Jersey, Darcy had foolishly believed that she would continue to be anomaly adjacent, as if some sort of cosmic fee had been paid with the Hex.
That’s exactly how she ended up venturing down a steamy and garbage-filled alley between a Mexican restaurant and a pho place while the phase meter warbled out an increase in energy the way a Geiger counter did for radiation. The agent whom Whatshisname had assigned to go with her was loitering at the mouth of the alley, citing a weak stomach in the face of sun spoiled carne asada and fish sauce; Darcy claimed immunity to such smells after experiencing both lutefisk and rakfisk in Oslo.
When the phase meter began to spike—a pitchy squeal oddly similar to a perturbed R2-D2—Darcy noticed small plastic wrappers and sheets of paper begin to get pulled towards a stretch of wall beside a small dumpster that measured about a meter wide. There wasn’t anything that she could see that would cause such a thing to happen, and she leaned back just enough to see how Agent Sickly was doing to call him over, when the phase meter screamed in warning before a light flashed and completely enveloped her.
Her brain tried to tell her that she was being stretched and crushed at the same time, and her ears felt the same sort of buoyant muffle she got whenever she had gone swimming as a child. When it finally stopped, she sucked in a stuttering breath and was rewarded with dusty air as she stumbled forward a few steps. Sunlight beat down on her and there was the distant sound of horses, which encouraged the sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach to worsen.
Warily prying open an eyelid, Darcy instantly squeezed it shut. It was not the purple-blue of a desert twilight she had been hoping for but the blindingly bright blue-white sky of the high desert. Her heart jumped to her throat as she turned in a slow circle.
No alley. No agent puking his guts up. No pho or Mexican restaurant. No asphalt or cars or stree
The walk to the closest public building was brief and filled with strange looks from the people she did see, all dressed in what she would consider outdated finery and dusty miners’ garb. Stepping into the cool interior of the Hotel Bilbao bar, Darcy glanced around before settling on the blonde behind the bar counter, who was already watching her with a practiced eye.
“Excuse me,” she meekly said to the barmaid? Bartender? “Can you tell me where the hell I am?”

Brian Cox uncovered how wormholes Brian Cox discusses theoretical wormhole concepts in 2019 Time journey is a theme repeatedly explored in science fiction. The movie, ‘Again to the Future‘ made hundreds of thousands conscious of the space-bending properties of physics, and popularised the idea endlessly. But, the framework for such a feat already existed and could possibly be discovered inside Albert Einstein’s idea of particular relativity, written in 1905. With it got here an nearly infinite checklist of charming and futuristic concepts like time journey, wormholes and blackholes. Wormholes, or Einstein–Rosen bridges, captured the creativeness of scientists all over the world as they provided a “cosmic shortcut” – a tunnel by way of the material of house and time. Hopping by way of one could be extremely troublesome, scientists say. However they’ve but to rule it out, with many suggesting the creation of 1 is perhaps doable sooner or later. Brian Cox: The physicist mentioned wormholes are possible not possible to create (Picture: GETTY/Youtube/PowerfulJRE) Again to the Future: The DeLorean within the traditional movie might journey by way of time (Picture: Youtube/Common Photos) Professor Brian Cox, the physicist, appeared to place an finish to the controversy nonetheless when mentioned the subject on the ‘PowerfulJRE’ podcast in 2019. He defined how wormholes have been believable in idea, but couldn’t exist in nature as a result of the properties essential to create them don’t exist. Prof Cox mentioned: “With a wormhole you might go all the best way across the edge or you might undergo the shortcut. “You are able to do that in Einstein’s idea, you’ll be able to go proper down by way of the geometry. JUST IN: Brian Cox admitted ‘we’re solely clever life’ Physics: Cox has popularised science and theoretical concepts like time journey and blackholes (Picture: GETTY) “However the first query is: Are you able to make it? And as has been defined, we do not suppose the properties to make the wormhole exist. “The second set of bits of theoretical works are, when you had a wormhole, then what would occur when you tried to journey by way of it? “And what appears to occur is that they turn out to be unstable the second something tries to undergo, so that you get a suggestions of stuff going by way of and thru. “And so it collapses.” DON’T MISS Black holes: Brian Cox uncovered how Einstein’s idea ‘breaks down’ [REPORT]Britain’s best fantasy pub quiz group revealed [INSIGHT]Brian Cox admits ‘we all know nothing’ about black holes [ANALYSIS] Wormholes: The tunnels would lower the time it takes to journey throughout house and time (Picture: GETTY) Blackholes: The phenomenon are additionally mentioned to have time journey properties (Picture: GETTY) Prof Cox admitted that we “do not totally know” if journey by way of the tunnels could be doable – although some quirk of science sooner or later might make them possible. Nevertheless, he added: “However most scientists suppose that even when they existed they might be unstable. “As quickly as you even attempt to transmit info by way of them – ship a bit of sunshine by way of – then there could be this suggestions and they’d collapse.” The primary motive scientists are at the moment unable to say for sure whether or not wormholes would work is as a result of there exists no quantum idea of gravity. Time journey: Blackholes distort time when the occasion horizon is handed (Picture: Specific Newspapers) Whereas the instruments to map out the equation wherein a wormhole might exist are current, their quantum theoretical counterparts haven’t but been devised. It’s thus not possible to determine whether or not wormholes could be secure in nature. However most physicists “strongly suspect” the instruments do not exist. In the event that they did, it might be doable to construct a time machine, some specialists say. Stephen Hawking wrote a well-known paper in 1992 titled the ‘Chronology Safety Conjecture‘. Stephen Hawking: The physicist pioneered blackhole idea within the twentieth century (Picture: GETTY) Right here, the late professor proposed that the legal guidelines of physics stop time journey on all however microscopic scales. This instantly units out that wormholes and time machines are wholly unstable constructions that might by no means exist. Prof Hawking is broadly considered the Godfather of blackholes and wormholes. When he misplaced using his limbs by way of motor neurone illness, the scientist was pressured to coach his thoughts to work in a brand new manner, visualising issues to achieve an answer versus writing them. A few of his colleagues have steered that this mind-set led to his best discoveries and work with black holes. if(typeof utag_data.ads.fb_pixel!=="undefined"&&utag_data.ads.fb_pixel==!0)!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s)if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function()n.callMethod?n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments);if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)(window,document,'script','https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js');fbq('init','568781449942811');fbq('track','PageView') Supply hyperlink #Brian #Cox #Exposed #wormholes

tell that to the kid next time he winds up somewhere and gets half dead for it
"We are doing the best we can with a shitty scenario. Or would you rather we lock him in a cell in a place between universes away from his family and friends on the premise of a what if? That doesn't seem fair either to deprive him of a normal life to be a kid. He has people looking out for him, both ones he knows about and ones he might not. It's the best compromise."

Jaden wouldn't be much of a raven if he didn't gather at least one shiny thing to gift his chosen people. Plus, he feels like he still owes Bev a bit of something. So, after a bit of searching, he finds a rock and very carefully leaves it on the front porch of the homestead.
He hated to say it but he was definitely a cool rock guy. Between the bowl of decorative multi colored rocks in the living room and the different geodes and other interesting stones he had come across that he just thought were really interesting, he had amassed a very good collection.
Even still, he hadn't been expecting a cool rock like this to show up on his porch. "Huh...where did you come from?" Did one of the dogs bring him something nice? No, Loki would have just swallowed it.
Either way, he could add it to the fireplace mantle where the coolest of rocks went. Huh, the veins made it look alive almost, or like a very expansive tree. Neat!

“Alright then.” And with little care for how he looked at the moment, how he’d be perceived or welcomed by the crew and already attending patrons, or how Bev might feel to be seen with a man so skimpily dressed, Jaden strolled up to the door, held it open as he gestured for Bev to step inside, then slipped in behind the other as though nothing were amiss. “Your choice - bar or table.”
“Bar,” It was more casual, and easier to get to the alcohol that way. Not to mention the ease of escape it provided for the both of them. His footsteps were immediate as they proceeded to the bar area, the moment he sat down his whiskey ordered. “You know, I think this is the second time I’ve seen you dressed like this.”
It was meant more as casual conversation than anything else, his tone neutral and not at all judgey. Better to talk about one’s fashion choices than the local assholes out to ruin your day, right?

"You're dead to me."
“What? Why? What’d I do?”

The shout is enough to rouse Dennis from his afternoon nap, but not quite enough to send him packing. That comes moments later, after his brain turns on and he realizes he's on private property and needs to scram.
Too bad he can't do it gracefully and is tripping over himself to get away without damaging fences or animals.
His biggest obstacle isn’t the fence, or even the very large strawberry roan draft horse that’s currently side stepping out of the way with a look on his face that could clearly be described as nope. No its the goat, standing in his way and looking him dead in the eye while refusing to move.
Once Bev gets outside and gets a good look at the dragon, there’s only the barest pause before he lets out a whistle. “Hey hold on a second!”
Was this a convergence event that let a dragon from the multiverse into one of his pastures or was this that dragon thing that seemed to be happening that he had caught wind of? One meant he had to saddle up Countess and do literal dragon wrangling plus additional paperwork, the other meant he had to do practically nothing.
He was really hoping it was the latter and not the former.

Note
The warrior hawk thing Bev's got going on isn't really Jaden's Jacob's style, but overall ʘ‿ʘ
Send a 'ʘ‿ʘ' if your muse finds my muse attractive | @anotherhumanpet
"Heh, fair enough. Good to know I've still got the looks even with the 'hawk going on."

send me ‘ ☕ ‘ and my muse will talk about someone they don’t like and why
".....Jacob. I don't hate him or anything, but it really left a sour taste in my mouth after everything that went down. He was within his rights as an individual to call it off, but that doesn't mean it didn't sting or make me felt a little strung along."
